Lots of predict bitcoin will hit new ATH after halving and that's my thinking too. we won't see bitcoin bounce back and hit new ATH this year or next. $100k target in my opinion just needs one more bull season for bitcoin to reach this target but while waiting for the new bull season we will face this bear season and the market will have more price drops. During the days around halving we can expect a new ATH. But, it isn't assured that the price will be above $100k. There are 7.5 billion people in the world. All of them know gold. But not all of them know about Bitcoin. One day they will all be aware of the existence of Bitcoin. And they will all be drawn to Bitcoin's center of gravity. There needs to be a diversified investment plan. As of now we have to invest 60% on bitcoin/cryptocurrencies and the remaining 40% on gold.
