1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: August 01, 2022, 04:37:44 AM
To attract new players and retain existing players, casinos offer various bonuses. Of course, the most delicious for users are those that do not require the expenditure of personal money. If for the sake of a bonus is not necessary to replenish a game account (make a deposit), such a bonus is called no deposit. I used such a bonus at fair go australia. New players get a welcome bonus as soon as they register at the casino and pass verification.
But such bonuses are very rarely given to old members. Maybe the casino can give it to new members to entice them to join the casino. But still, there will be other requirements that members must follow to withdraw their winnings if they can win using the bonus. Sometimes, the casino may allow new members who can win with the bonus to withdraw their winnings and this strategy can work well too.
Yes, every bonus provided is connected with certain terms and conditions. Those terms and conditions need to be fulfilled so to make use of the bonus amounts. Most of the time issue arises here when people win good wagering with the bonus money. Here withdrawal gets hold which is not fair. Such incidents can be seen often.
1942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 31, 2022, 11:53:18 PM
Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022?

Or a new All-Time High (ATH) in 2022?

What is your opinion and what do you think is necessary for this to happen?

You can view Prices and Dates since All-Time High (ATH) at https://coincryptoprice.com/ath/
discussing the future of bitcoin price will never end...

many predict that bitcoin will not touch $20k but a few weeks ago bitcoin touched below $20k. 2022 is only 5 months left and bitcoin has great potential to stop at any price including $100k, if you have the money then there's nothing wrong with buying bitcoin at the current price, you won't lose.

The market for crypto assets appears anxious to push the price of bitcoin through the US$25,000 mark; nevertheless, the price of bitcoin is still within the US$24,000 to US$26,000 range and is still subject to price fluctuations. Participants in the cryptocurrency asset market continue to forecast that the price of bitcoin will at least reach $27,000 in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The market is in its bearish days, so even a small bounce in the market is a big thing. Compared to the low bottom the price have reached a good position. This will slowly increase as the investment over altcoins have begun to get into bitcoin. According to me $27000 in the fourth quarter of the year isn't a big thing for bitcoin. According to the market cycle we're focused on 2023-2024, but bitcoin market being uncertain can make any unexpected changes in no time.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 31, 2022, 11:36:08 PM
This should be our main priority, to have a self discipline every time we gamble

That is really a must-have characteristic in gambling. There are gamblers who are not even moderate in doing gambling but look at them, they are still in their right mind and knows what they are doing. If they can do it, others should be able to do it as well.

But the reality is, that those who are even doing moderate gambling are the ones who are not ended up being disciplined and responsible.

Therefore, we can conclude that even a gambler plays moderately or not, if they won't force themselves to become responsible, then good luck to them.
Self discipline is a must. Under this falls the self control, emotional control and all other features that doesn't let you go beyond your ability. According to me, gambling industry is big. The house always have its edge. Here whether you make a win/loss there'll be profit for the house. If we realise it we'll stop at the right time even without any form of moderation. Being responsible is to know your limits and spend.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 31, 2022, 11:32:23 PM
He was slogging and doing so got some success that's it but it's fine as he was no10 so every run is bonus. Although Naseem Shah was the guy who stayed with Babar for long, not Hasan Ali.

LOL.. I have to admit that I am biased in favor of Hasan Ali. Anyway, he did what he could. And yes, Naseem did a splendid job in the first match (with the bat).

Pakistani players have good bowling defence and this is amazing they batted well.
I think they have tested the team how would they perform in the absence of Shaheen Afridi. But Afridi too is an amazing player - hard to ignore.

Back in late 1990s and early 2000s, they had 3-4 quality bowlers such as Akram, Shoaib, Saqlain and Waqar. So even if one is unavailable, someone like Mohammad Sami would fill in. But now Shaheen is the only consistent bowler. The younger ones such as Hasnain and Naseem are yet to prove that they are reliable. Also, they lack a pace bowling all-rounder, such as Abdul Razzaq who was in the team a decade or so ago.
The players you mentioned are legendary players. They have made their name in sports.
Also Imran Khan is still ruling the hearts of the people. But having said that. Every golden era ends. So one should enjoy their golden era and leave with dignity.
Those are legendary players, but think of the opportunity they had. They were given chances even when they weren't in good form for matches. Now this is a pressure, of a player isn't able to perform the opportunity moves to the next player who is in the queue. This pressure itself down the performance of players.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 31, 2022, 11:15:28 PM
I'm not saying it's a pitch problem. We all know that spin bowlers have a bit of an advantage on Asian pitches. And so when Pakistan's spin bowlers failed to perform well, naturally Pakistan fell behind quite a bit. As a result, Sri Lanka set a target of more than 500 runs. And it is very difficult to score more than 500 in the last innings on such a pitch. And so, indirectly, the main reason for Pakistan's defeat was the poor performance of their bowlers.
If you see second test then Srilanka was in command since the day one. They scored 378 in first innings and bowled out Pakistan for 231 runs taking lead of 147 in first innings. Good to see Srilanka going up, they draw series against Aus and now against Pakistan.
The performance of the Sri Lankan team is now very stable. They solved the internal problems of the team. Their performance has been consistent on both the batting and bowling side. But they are playing well at home ground. It remains to be seen how they perform in away matches or on pace-helpful pitches. Most teams perform well in home matches

Perhaps you are right. The Sri Lankan team has improved a lot. I would say the performance of their batsmen has stabilized. Especially the top order players are playing well. But all the matches were held in Sri Lanka. If you want to do well in the next World Cup, the Sri Lankan board should definitely organize the series outside the country. But Sri Lanka will not play any more series before the World Cup.
Sri Lanka have played a good game in the current conditions. Which can bring Sri Lanka's hope again especially for getting the good position in T20 World Cup cricket. I agree with you that since they are playing at home ground their true status cannot be understood right now. Their outdoor performance will describe how much they have improved. However, it can be said without a doubt that they have produced some good players. Hopefully they can give us better matches in the future.
According to me the real power of a team can be seen through its performance on the test cricket. Sri Lanka is good in its past few matches. Maybe continuing this can keep them in good position. T20 matches are like fluke mostly, because at end situations the bowlers doesn't have any chance of turning the matches. At very rare occasions we can see this. Likewise we can see various things that make test cricket to be the decider for a team's performance.
1946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your most realistic ATH prediction for the next cycle? on: July 31, 2022, 11:09:44 PM
Obviously this takes a very long time and requires more patience there if you really dream of that big price Smiley
On the other hand, this actually just goes back to time, apart from the predictions that have happened, this is only an assumption with various data and speculations like this, there are only 2 possibilities, namely true and not. for 2020, this is only a little off but not too much if we are still sure about it.
It is very clear, it is more speculation and assumptions based on data that has existed and coincidentally always has a long duration so it still requires patience even though it does not have a certainty because I am more confident in the increasing number of demand and supply in the market so that it can have an effect on increasing future prices.
I believe in the growth as the user rate keeps increasing with time than falling down. This will surely increase the demand. The market is in good condition, though we're in the bearish trend. Even at this situation it is possible for users to make some profit out of the fluctuation. Only thing the users needs to do is analyse and observe the market changes. By the next cycle it'll probably move above $100k.
1947  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is crypto going up after the news of being in a recession? on: July 31, 2022, 11:05:25 PM
Do you guys Believe in this pump or is it just temporary until another leg down?
I personally am not sure so I'm just slowly  DCAing  in to my favourite projects.
You already answered your question here.
No one can tell us what's the perfect movement of the Bitcoin price, it's remained unpredictable and no one knows in the future.

Stick to Bitcoin and that's right, you're on the right path investing Bitcoin in a DCA way, you can minimize your losses through this method.

Speaking about recession, that's a different story here but sometimes these fundamental reports really have an impact on the price and it could be Bitcoin is a safe place against recession.
Well said, the bitcoin market is completely uncertain and it doesn't bother about the other markets. At times it coexist and moves in a mutual way. We were unable to predict what form of movement it has taken right now. Everything is mere prediction and it's move for now is independent. I see this to be the reason for the price of bitcoin going high amidst the ongoing recession.
1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: July 31, 2022, 11:01:43 PM
But the truth is Bitcoin adoption as of now not as a means of payment, Bitcoin adoption is storing the value that holders can make a profit in a certain time.
I doubt this becomes crucial now, when those big holders drop their bags and sell all their Bitcoin have, it will surely have an impact on the market which dropping the price.

However, the awareness has continued to spread and there are some stores now accepting Bitcoin, recently the US added more Bitcoin ATMs which means the demand of the buyers has been there.  So I expect that there are massive Bitcoin adoption in the future, in fact, we have a few countries has been starting Bitcoin makes a legal tender.

Right now, we can't expect a lot of merchants accepting bitcoin in their payment method.
However, the numbers are increasing already. But for some holders, they won't spend their satoshis but instead hold it.
It is true, most of btc holders are treating this as investment, where they can exchange it with good profits in the future.
The priority is much towards investment than as a currency for daily needs. More number of people getting into cryptocurrency usage understanding the growth of bitcoin over the years. As said the adoption is happening in a slower way and this is really good for the market than getting pushed all the way. Nowadays there were some promotion about bitcoin, from firms that use bitcoin a tool. Apart from that there is no kind of promotion which is the real success.
1949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Ever Reach $100k? on: July 29, 2022, 11:36:33 PM
Arguably, the most significant driver of Bitcoin value is its future price speculation. There have been several speculations of BTC price by top crypto influencers, while some have come to pass but it appears that the 100k price milestone appears elusive.

The $60k prediction came to pass but BTC has since lost more than 65% of its ATH price.

Do you think that BTC will ever rise to and above 100k in the near future? Wil it be before or after the next Bitcoin halving or this price would never come?

What's your opinion?

Lots of predict bitcoin will hit new ATH after halving and that's my thinking too. we won't see bitcoin bounce back and hit new ATH this year or next. $100k target in my opinion just needs one more bull season for bitcoin to reach this target but while waiting for the new bull season we will face this bear season and the market will have more price drops.
During the days around halving we can expect a new ATH. But, it isn't assured that the price will be above $100k. According to market prediction from different experts it is found that the price will go above $100k as it is found to be the next major barrier.
1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 29, 2022, 11:34:39 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?

I don't know which investment tool will give the fastest profit. But Bitcoin promises a bigger future. Because its mass adaptation has not been fully completed. There are 7.5 billion people in the world. All of them know gold. But not all of them know about Bitcoin. One day they will all be aware of the existence of Bitcoin. And they will all be drawn to Bitcoin's center of gravity.
There needs to be a diversified investment plan. As of now we have to invest 60% on bitcoin/cryptocurrencies and the remaining 40% on gold. This is how I do, because I'm fed-up with the gold investment. If I've done the same investment on cryptocurrency now I could've made a big money out of it. For long term profiting cryptocurrency is the right pick whereas for risk free benefits gold is the choice.
1951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bottom in for BTC? on: July 29, 2022, 11:31:53 PM
We can't get into conclusion on the bottom price of bitcoin. It drops down and it bounce back in no time. Yesterday this happened. All of the sudden the price dropped drastically and today it is moving above $24k which is quite good. As people say the market movements were uncertain and so we can't predict which is the bottom and peak price.
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: July 29, 2022, 11:29:35 PM
The war between Russia and Ukraine had a bigger impact on world economy then i was thinking it was gonna have. Inflation raised a lot in all of the countries around the world and i think Europe lost a lot with this war. In my country a lot of prices really went up. For gas i dont want even to talk about how much the price went up. Hopefully when things get to normal maybe the economy will recover.
There’s a huge impact especially many countries are already involve since they implement restrictions against Russia and now they are also experiencing the consequences of that action. Its really bad to see that they are still at war and almost ruined the whole country already. Russia is indeed a powerful country and I hope, that they will stop now because this war is not good at all, and a big threat to humanity.
There is not much of impact being felt over the world countries other than the wheat shortage and oil shortage. Ukraine being the major exporter of wheat into war have caused this, but somehow things were we'll managed till now. Oil is a big problem as Russia is strong in its stand to supply oil only to its friendly nations. Ukraine have been suffering economic crises, peaceful talks need to happen to end the war.
1953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stolen Bitcoin Be Recovered on: July 29, 2022, 11:25:46 PM
Quite sketchy looking website filled with ads. Bitcoin is not PayPal mate, once it's sent, it's over. Nothing you can actually do to recover your funds. As others have already mentioned, Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous, even someone with little experience could use a mixing service, such as Chipmixer, and avoiding any ties with the stolen/compromised funds.
Things have been very simple with the innovation, and the ease of creating a wallet is made through different applications. So, usage of mixing services is not at all big deal. Stolen funds can be recovered only by the government agencies and this too happens when their arises suspicion.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: July 28, 2022, 11:58:34 PM
These are just a way to keep the portfolio undisturbed even when the market is bullish/bearish. For users who have better learning about the market movements can use it for the purpose of increasing the portfolio. While doing so, it can give profit as well as loss. Nowadays there are large number of stablecoins available in the market. Cryptocurrency network is big as a sea. We need the learning only then it is possible to swim and come out.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 28, 2022, 11:24:06 PM
There won't be much discussion taking place relative to gambling. Surely there'll be small change in the number of discussions taking place now and without the signature campaigns. In one way or the other the forum needs to be active and popular. Signatures have a big contribution and the same needs to continue with the Casinos to grow their business along with the forum's growth.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 28, 2022, 11:14:43 PM
The final ODI was one-sided as expected. The Indian batsmen and bowlers were on fire throughout the match despite rain interruptions.

Looks like my predictions were spot-on throughout this ODI series and I won all my bets. The odds for India were decent throughout this series(Winner Overall, Individual match winners etc).
West Indies are not performing well in ODI series, it is not only against India's, I have also seen before that they are surrendering to Bangladesh. I think they need to be more experienced to play ODIs. After all i have to say India roared in this match. Currently one of the Indian players Shubman Gill did not get the century for 2 runs but he introduce himself as a talented one. I think India has been able to revive their old cricket where they are all the best.
West Indies played good cricket, but it wasn't able to make a win. Looking over the first two matches, it is clear West Indies performed well with its scores above 300. If this was against some other team and not India, then this could've been a win for West Indies.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet demand increases in 2022 bear market as exchange scramble on: July 28, 2022, 11:07:30 PM
The demand for hardware with wallets have increased over the years. This in particular is due to the increased demand for cryptocurrency usage. From the days of pandemic people have started to explore online and find all possible ways of investment. As a result bitcoin is one among the much trusted investment and to keep it secure more wallets are in need.
1958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finland sold 1,900 BTC, for a good cause on: July 28, 2022, 09:52:04 PM
It's good to see a super positive use of bitcoin. Especially when various countries are seeing bitcoin under a negative light due to its usage in money laundering or dark web, it's a refreshing news that a huge amount of bitcoin will be used in humanitarian aid.

It's so very kind of Finland to extend their support towards Ukraine in such a positive way. Good thing should receive good publicity and praises.

As a bitcoiner, I don't see selling, especially selling in a bear market, as a positive use of bitcoin.

A better way would be to put it on auction. If they really wanted donate it, they could've sent in its original form, instead of feeding it to centralized exchanges.

As someone living in Ukraine right now, I disagree. We need money now. We need ammo now. We can't wait until BTC goes higher in price and then sell it. Not in our situation.

So, regarding the topic I can say only one thing: Thank you, Finland. It's acts such as this help us to stand against Putin's army of zombies.
Humanity exists, and what Finland have done once again proves it. As a user said, if they wait for the growth then we might loss big number of lives. According to me, support need to be done at the right time. Here Finland have done the best at the right occassion. Hope this will be followed by other countries too.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 25, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
With new sets of daily activities and with alternatives lifestyle, eventually the urge of gambling will be removed inside your system and from that you will be busy with other things and will allow you to complete free up yourself with gambling addictions.
The change in environment can bring in so many positive change in the personality of the person.
In our culture and religion we are advised to move and do not remain stagnant - because stagnant water and stagnant person are not not progressive.
Changes can be experienced, but this needs to be considered as moderation and not of control. Some people find close ones keeping track of their gambling activity as a way of taking control of them. According to me this needs to be considered as moderation. Then surely one will slowly have control over his gambling activity. This is my personal experience and I've changed a lot.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 25, 2022, 11:58:29 PM
The successful people have a different mindset. They don’t take things to their head like many normal people do. Their focus is strong and their dealing is very clear.
On the other hand there are people who are addicted – they like to keep hiding themselves from the people and they are strange and weird. Their dealing is ambiguous and dishonest.
In specific if the person is single then his attitude and behaviour will be different and if the gambler has family and kids then it differs. According to me I used to loss and to compensate the loss used to borrow money and this happens as a result of my wife noting my account balance. At times when I weren't able to compensate out of borrowing the pressure increases.
