1941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: November 17, 2018, 10:55:27 PM
Nope!!! Not making money but losing them as I'm too uptight about trading in this current situation so I'm playing the waiting game before I decide on my next move - better do it soon
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethershift.co - Main Sale is now live! John McAfee/Mate Tokay advisors! on: November 17, 2018, 03:54:44 AM
Excellent project, definitely appreciate a project that takes the time to engage with its community.

The CEO is always discussing on Telegram, love how casual it is, not like some CEOs who might as well be invisible.

Well done, keep up the good work!
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethershift.co - Main Sale is now live! John McAfee/Mate Tokay advisors! on: November 16, 2018, 04:20:10 AM
Regulators continue to legally attack the forkdelta and idex. Think just at the time of the release of the project people will be ready for us to go. When your competitor is drowning it is not necessary to be happy, but here I can not restrain seeing what it can give us.

Well, they're only being attacked because they're hosted in the U.S. Ethershift previously mentioned that they're hosted in Antigua so it's very difficult to attack them in a country that gives them the utmost protection.

I think with Forkdelta going down, people will be looking for a superior alternative, and Ethershift looks like just that.
1944  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From Minimum To A Million on: November 15, 2018, 11:28:21 AM
Good luck to turn the £100 into a Million! Seriously, if that was possible many people that have been on here for a long time would have already become rich, that's to say that all the odds are against you, from the current evidence.
1945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for the bull market!!! on: November 15, 2018, 11:25:37 AM
Bull market!!! I'm of the opinion that this won't be coming any time soon given how the prices of BTC started crumbling yesterday. Its dropped by >10% and currently its under 5,500 mark. There is no way, the bull market will show, but heck I wish I could be proved wrong.
1946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin won't grow fast as it was in 2017 on: November 14, 2018, 05:27:05 PM
Because the fear of losing overrides investment attraction. Too many people experiences loses which they're not happy with and that's not because of trading but simply because the market is too sensitive to news and reactions, causing huge price drops.
1947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Block Chain going to be the next internet? on: November 14, 2018, 05:24:43 PM
Cryptocurrency is either a future goldmine or a future failure. The fact that some of the main market cap coins are so volatile and sensitive to news causing price drops its ridiculous. WE need to fix that before everyone loses their enthusiasm.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the fear of crypto-currencies legit? on: November 13, 2018, 09:50:49 PM
People are increasingly getting scared to invest in Bitcoin and other virtual currencies out of fear of getting scammed. Should they be?

Fear is everywhere in any markets so in my opinion people should not be fearful but cautious and daring. Nowadays, scamming has become so common that it does not matter in which market you're involved in, its potentially everywhere, you just have to be careful and always think before acting.
1949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: November 13, 2018, 09:48:43 PM
There is no such thing a luck but skill. Maybe you're not skilled enough to do it which is fine because with time and perseverance you can improve and become better at trading. This is how we learn.
1950  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies is protection from the third world war on: November 13, 2018, 09:47:23 PM
Internet is freedom of information, cellular communication is freedom of communication, cryptocurrency is financial freedom

But the main value in the other - cryptocurrencies is protection from the third world war, the states will disappear, then there will be no wars https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1lfobc/i_am_a_timetraveler_from_the_future_here_to_beg/

on the one hand, the collapse of states is bad - there will be no control over evil, and on the other is well - will be impossible a big war. What do you think?

There can't be a correlation or direct consequence of crypto protecting or preventing world war III because most of the mass media attack comes from yet again natural resources that dominating countries want their hands on. As such these are not so much financial/monetary issues as these are the direct follow up of these natural resources. This is why crypto isn't protecting against a world war III, disputes and bad language as well as egoism are all contributing factors.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market, a fix to greedy ICO's on: November 12, 2018, 04:13:18 PM
A lot would have wondered if the ICO market is dead, the truth is that the market is still alive but the bear market may not allow for raising of hundreds of Millions of Dollars just like we had throughout 2017 and 2018 where even a lot of greedy projects where overvalued.

With the bear market, it is time to know real projects, projects may no longer raise hundreds of Millions as they usually overvalue their token and eventually find nd it hard to achieve softcap and hardcap becomes an endless wait.

The reality now is that ICO projects may not be able to raise such huge sum anymore. It is now time to wade off greedy projects, only real and genuine projects will survive by starting low and prooving themselves overtime.
But in essence isn't it good to have a strong valuation even if it turns you overvalued it since initially as an ICO you must show strength to your investors? Its only what follows after that that determines if you under/over valued your project.
1952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 12, 2018, 04:10:10 PM
I don't think bitcoin is an example of a democracy since 99.9% of the coins are held by a handful of people. Its democratic in the way maybe its run I.e. the main functionality as in operated by people/miners/investors
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BountyHive: One Of The Best Bounty Platform on: November 11, 2018, 06:51:47 PM
This isn't intended to hype them or something, neither am I paid to do this, but I think BountyHive is one of the best bounty platforms around. I say this because they usually have specific number of participants that are admitted to different bounties (Signature, Social media, contents creation, and Translation). Once the required number of participants gets filled, it's closed for admission. This ensures that the bounty hunters get maximum number of stakes and tokens from the bounty.
I recently participated in one of their signature bounties, and got a handsome amount of tokens at the end of the campaign.
Yh but they also don't allow bounty hunters to see the sheets to how many stakes they've earned. They also get 1000 more bounty hunters than typically bounty platforms diluting the rewards because they don't filter out the bots. STAY AWAY BOUNTY HUNTERS!!!
1954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - the future stable coin on: November 11, 2018, 06:46:59 PM
I think bitcoin has the potential to grow and therefore act as a main industry payment but all of this is logged back by these regulations and unless these are addressed in my opinion we won't see any BTC explosions.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-BOUNTY] VEIL (currently seeking Bounty Manager and ANN Translators) on: November 10, 2018, 06:34:05 PM
Do you have a list of translations you need? I can help with those.

I recommend using Bountycloud for management they are my favorite managers so far.
1956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we overcome the hard times? on: November 10, 2018, 09:28:14 AM
Hey guys, what do you think, can we be strong, and overcome this hard times when everything is red? How soon we will finally see bitcoin growing?

This is all a waiting game, and I think most people will start giving in but we should remain strong and optimistic as Bitcoin is sure to improve. what we don't know is how soon we'll start seeing this improvement happening.
1957  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Should bitcointalk play a part in educating its members?. on: November 07, 2018, 04:55:42 PM
Isn't this happening already, through these very discussions? Plus, bitcointalk would not be the best place for that since most members on here already have an idea about crypto. There should be more active teaching outside of this space where people can pick it up.
1958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin control? on: November 07, 2018, 04:52:30 PM
In the foreseeable future, each developed country will create its own crypto currency, provided by the national currency.

How much can this contradict the very idea of Bitcoin as a free, decentralized system?

Need cryptocurrency state control?

I suppose this idea is one of a middle ground but I will be concerned about losing the decentralisation and independency established by BTC. AT the same time, I recognise the need for a government supported coin. We should be more explorative as to what the different options are.
1959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear time is near to end on: November 06, 2018, 10:41:09 PM
Its bold of you to state the bear market is nearing because no body really knows and the issue is that from what seems to be the word going round is that we'll see a bull market just like last year, but we must be mindful that this may not happen and we must be prepared to take that hit.
1960  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Sleep vs Cryptos (or vice versa) on: November 05, 2018, 09:48:28 PM
Sleep is more important that we give credit for.
#Fun fact, you can not ever catch up on  hours of sleep lost#.
Sleep is so important for healthy life, memory formation and cognitive function and much more that I feel any investment that deprives you of this surely in the long term isn't worth it.
Ask yourself, What will be the point in being fortunate to get rich with your investments if you're mentally unstable and lead a diseased life?
My opinion, not worth it.
