1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: September 05, 2021, 08:11:16 PM
We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value

Firstly, Panic selling will happen with disregard of the price of a stock or crypto is the reason being that people don't always hold and have entry and exit points.
So they'll choose a percentage at which they will exit after taking their share of profit and when that doesn't happen then they are forced to sell the trade to avoid any more losses.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter and Bitcoin on: September 05, 2021, 07:23:02 PM
These articles don't guarantee whether Twitter is going to roll out that feature or not but in case they do I would interested to know they are going to make the tipping offline to the Twitter server or users can send another user directly on their bitcoin address.
In case users can send directly to other user's address then twitter will showcase their BTC address under their posts.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin go high the poor will not participate on: September 04, 2021, 12:55:24 PM
I am thinking that if the bitcoin continue to go up to $100,000 and above.  it will be expensive for the poor people to invest. It will be for only rich people. It will be better for bitcoin will not go so much high so that it will be affordable to everybody to invest and have profit.

I will like to read and learn for everyone here.

I don't think it will be expensive unless they want to feel that they own a full Coin and not a fraction of it.

They can still pay the amount in USD and I'm sure people will charge in bitcoins based on the cost of the local products (most of the time)
1024  Other / Off-topic / Re: will we witness a blockchain based election in our life time? on: September 02, 2021, 08:01:51 PM
I don't think that will happen anytime soon and even if that happens the blockchain on which the election will be held has to be regulated and without KYC no one gets to make an election and thinking about KYC.

For doing the KYC they will have to visit the home of every person to verify the data otherwise many things can go wrong.
Not to mention the governments against this crypto as a whole.
So i would say it's unlikely to happen.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin or project dies? When and how? on: September 02, 2021, 05:37:16 PM
As previously mention, 2 main reasons are scam coins, and "lets jump on the train" coins.
This basically means many projects just wanna join the ride, but offer no real value, or can't deliver it

Well, Most of the time project dies because it’s unable to fulfil the requirements it was supposed to.
Other times-
There’s a better product compared to the previous so most people switch / this one is possible but unlikely.
Owners are stepping back from their coin (XRP Is the best example) 😂
The project turned out to be a scam after ICO ( this one is common)
1026  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: September 02, 2021, 05:25:09 PM
People who like to deal with numbers, have analytical intelligence, and are interested in graphics and data, can be successful in economics. T

Actually, everything has relied upon the economy even the bitcoin market, stock trade, gold's cost, and different ventures have relied upon it.
You can not start a business without knowing about the economy nor you can make a benefit.

Apart from that, they can work in general and branches of banks. They can take part in auditing and consulting firms.

Yes, it's true they can work in certain branches of the bank but the payroll may not be as good as to what other branches offer, anyways it's up to the interest of the person who's opting for Economics.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to answer when asked "Can I make money mining bitcoin?" on: September 02, 2021, 04:35:21 PM
If someone asks me Bitcoin mining can make money, I would say you could make money from mining Bitcoin. But it would be difficult to do it.

Mining takes loads of energy and it relies on your power bills. On the off chance that your electric rates are modest then you can go into mining otherwise no compelling to include on it.

After that, buy mining equipment which is quite expensive and finally
the maintenance costs for mining equipment are not cheap either. So the conclusion is that avoid making money from mining.

The fact is you need to turn your PC on for 24 hours which devours your power and GPU energy.
For me, it's a hazardous method to make money since the contentiously running of GPU can make it harm additionally its work on 100%. The cost of the GPU is higher than expected.
1028  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 02, 2021, 04:25:25 PM
Any problem may cause inflation. Inflation is a neutral term, and there is no good or bad. Inflation may lead to economic development or economic downturn.
Inflation is rising prices, not because the demand for money is less than the supply of money

This year is the most exceedingly terrible I actually spend, seriously we lost a bunch of superstars, and now it's Coronavirus who sway awful on our general public.
Everything has become costly because of the absence of flexibility and expanding interest. In my nation, the cost of food is twofold than a year ago.
Anyway, I'm hoping it's just temporary, and it'll be good in the coming year.
1029  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin start Backing USA dollar on: September 02, 2021, 04:22:01 PM
Fiat cash is centralized and handily constrained by banks and governments.
Where bitcoin is decentralized, so it is implausible for bitcoin to support up US Dollars.
There's no correlation between bitcoin with fiat. Both have various highlights and characteristics.

But mostly it is because it is a cryptocurrency with a high volatility rate, as opposed to USD which is a fiat currency with regulations left and right.

The main thing government can do is improve the stock exchange and its economy.
It can be backing up the dollars; there are no rights for bitcoin to do anything with fiat in any case.
1030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: September 02, 2021, 04:15:24 PM
If you have well information, then you're welcome and free to contribute with bitcoins.
I regularly observe numerous amateurs go to the market, put away their high cash, and begin expecting something important with digital currency.
Bitcoin never works this way; I accept cryptographic forms of money are an incredible stage for financial specialists; however, you need to contribute as much as possible to lose.
Anyways always remember bitcoin's price is exceptionally unpredictable.
1031  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: September 02, 2021, 03:02:26 PM
Now it's been almost 2 years of covid, in my country the implementation of vaccination has not been 100% fulfilled. many economists in my country have predicted that if vaccinations can run smoothly and also the case of covid has decreased, it is possible that the economic sector around the world will slowly recover. this is because the world economy has been disrupted internationally by covid 19. so I think the economy will still be able to recover quickly

Tbh I am against this vaccine agenda altogether, I've mentioned some facts in my previous posts, and mentioning them here again is a pain but here we go..
There is an insider of Pfizer vaccine that said the patients who took the 2nd dosage of this vaccine might die in 2-3 yrs because of Blood clotting.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we do what China did to gaming with gambling? on: September 01, 2021, 08:51:55 PM
Recently China passed a law that says that there's a break for children for playing videogames, I like this regulation because it helps kids reconnect with physical world and at the same time make them not dependent or addicted to the virtual space. Now here's my question, can we do that to gambling too, it can probably help the people to take a break and cool their heads off when they're on a losing streak or it can also be a time for some reflection as to when did it all go wrong for them to lead to this point.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/08/31/tech/china-ban-video-games-minor-intl-hnk/index.html?espv=1

Well, Addiction is not limited to virtual gambling stuff. Like you said "If the same can be said for gambling" And my answer would be Yes!

Gambling addiction, Alcohol addiction, Drugs addiction. These addictions are different but the habit is the same and people have a hard time getting rid of their addictions alone and they reject getting help. I've seen this with Alcoholics. They refuse to admit that they're addicted and can't see it themself..

Nvm that now to the Topic -

It's actually a good thing what China did but I'm still surprised that a Nation such a China that did this.. I thought they want to control and keep on feeding subconscious messages to the children through games but that can't be done with every game...
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online sexy casinos on: September 01, 2021, 08:34:03 PM
I saw both the link mentioned in the OP and those threads are mostly related to erotic casinos... Embarrassed
I don't have anything against it but seriously they've to bring up these things into Casinos for their promotion.
Don't you think it's better if casinos don't use pornographic content to feed their viewers there are social gamblers who would be embarrassed to bet on such gambling websites,
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to make money or for FUN? on: September 01, 2021, 08:23:42 PM
This topic had been beaten out to death that had been questioned for years here on this forum but for the sake of avoiding off topic reply

Haha yea, I wondered that would be the case and thought about adding "Similar to" to the OP's Topic name but then thought nvm leave it as it is and here now I'm reading this  Roll Eyes

avoiding off topic reply then i would say that people will mostly tell that they do play for fun
but deep inside they are really longing for fast profits or multiplying their capital which is only possible in gambling in shortest time as possible and this industry wont really become this big or profitable if

It's quite true that most people will not say that out in public because of the embarrassment of their wants.

it wasnt really for those people who do ending up on becoming addicts due to chasing up for profits or chasing up their losses or to break even. This is a common scenario or on whats happening
into this market.

Chasing the loss then trying to make profit again and not ending up making the profit, so back to square one and recovering losses again... and so on.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: September 01, 2021, 03:49:40 PM
I have noticed that too but in the Poker casinos that accept local currency, They have to pay the taxes when you refund and so do you.
They also have to keep track of people who deposit and if the money was stolen then the KYC info of that particular user can be shared with the authorities but it shouldn't be an issue with a Crypto-related Poker casino.

There are several poker apps "I won't name them here" that accept Cryptocurrency and don't ask for KYC more than Email verification which in itself is a security measure for your account/
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to make money or for FUN? on: September 01, 2021, 12:39:27 PM
I think a lot of gamblers would say they only do it for fun because eventually throughout gambling you will experience losses and it's definitely not fun to lose.

Yea, I think the same.
It's mostly because they chase their loss and end up losing everything at some point.
Funny thing I recently watched a stream of a Video game player, he's used to stream league of legends and started promoting a gambling website and currently is playing Slots there now he lost over 400k USD and is chasing his losses when it's clearly written on the website at right side bottom "Don't chase losses"
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you gamble to make money or for FUN? on: September 01, 2021, 10:16:08 AM
Since 2011 when some online gambling websites went online with bitcoin as their career then there were many gamblers who started to bet online because of many reasons.

Two of them being - For Making Money || FUN

Now from what I've seen people start for Fun make some money and keeps the cycle repeating until it becomes a habit and they start to think of it as a medium to keep making sustainable income which is not possible, I know some people from a community where they had the Story Line I shared above and even today they're unable to get gambling out of their mind.
And thinking if they can make 1000x of their deposit they would never play again, but we know what happens...

So what's your story... Makin Money ?? or For FUN.
1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: August 31, 2021, 11:59:07 PM
It's better if you put in a small amount regularly, try to cut off money from your spending sources such as cigarettes if you smoke or some other useless source that doesn't serve you.
I believe there was a thread of a user who stopped smoking and put around 30$ /week into bitcoin and they're over 0.005 BTC now.

The best thing about it is you'll be paying the average of bitcoin at the moment.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend got arrested in a p2p scam on: August 31, 2021, 11:30:53 PM

It looks like the victim is going to experience way worse since Bitcoin is illegal in their country. If the scam is done differently, he could have been grateful even if his money is taken by this scammer as long as authorities are not involved here. This could lead to a thorough investigation that authorities might find out this isn't his first Bitcoin transaction.

Anyway, bailing out I guess is an option for him. Hope your friend will be able to work it out.

In case the bitcoin being illegal in the country and investigation authorities showing leniency means the authorities did a good background check on the guy and didn't find anything suspicious with their activity since they're using an illegal resource.

but I'm curious did your friend gets to keep the money or it will be returned to the person who filed for the hacked transaction through their bank.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin as payment for my business on: August 30, 2021, 10:19:38 PM
Thats good news I hope that one day Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be widely accepted in most stores globally, by the way, here also in my place there's a number of food stores that were accepting crypto but not Bitcoin or Ethereum but it was XRP, and maybe soon they will accept Bitcoin and Ethereum but their argument was settled on the transaction fees. which is a big issue while paying using Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Actually, there are going to be stores that will accept cryptocurrency unless there's a government rule that forbids the acceptance of crypto as payment.

In this section of the forum recently I have read a thread of someone who has a shop and it's a clothing shop where they have started accepting 3 cryptos and it's going good for them, right now even if a handful of people are doing it then in future there are going to be more.
