1061  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: August 24, 2021, 10:40:23 PM
Have any of you heard the recent fuss about Pfizer vaccines, An insider whistleblower doctor said there's a good chance patients might in 2-3 years due to blood clotting if they've taken 2 dosages of it.

I'm not sure what to say about it but I was against the Vaccines the very start and didn't believe in it.
I don't go out that often and haven't faced any symptoms of Covid since its rise are there any other like this?
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: August 24, 2021, 10:37:33 PM
What's going with gas fees? After the London fork, the gas fees only went up. They raised gas limit, and the blocks are half empty, even 5% - 15% filled, but gas fees are through the roof! It's not about limited capacity right now, yet it's very expensive. What is reason for that?

And what is minimum gasused multiplier?

Well yes I had the same question before I discovered by ETH wallet had around 0.17 ETH in it and in the Past, I didn't send them because the fee was extremely high, more than 50% of what value ETH address had so I left it alone.

2 months ago when I found out ETH has been forked and ETH fees have been lowered I tried to send them to an exchange and it worked, I paid around 0.006 ETH fee rather than paying around 0.09 ETH.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: August 24, 2021, 10:34:12 PM
all crypto assets are at risk. even if there are new crypto assets that have entered coinmarketcap. you can see new tokens like SHIB suddenly on the market above the market cap. it is not without risk because all crypto assets can easily fall and make the value of our investment experience a very large decline. first, study the market and the potential assets in the market before starting to invest.

I couldn't agree more, Well crypto is to be treated as an investment now and when bitcoin was created in 2009. You are trading on the future value of bitcoin as crypto at the time and you're investing because you believe in the technology it's going to bring otherwise you're just gambling with crypto with a label of trading.
1064  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: August 24, 2021, 06:34:13 AM
My review -

Betting & Odds: Placed some bets in the past on the website as I said in my previous review on sportsbook and no problem there but placing bets in 1xgames and not being able to verify the validity of bets sucked a lot for me, could you implement the system to verify the bets on 1xgames, mostly the dice, I am positive you'll get more gamblers who like to verify their bets.

Deposit & Withdrawals: I've placed multiple withdrawals in past and didn't have any issues with regards to it but I would highly recommend being cautious on any gambling website prior placed a huge deposit.

Side notes: As I said in my previous reviews, you really need a good UI, work on that.

1066  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com completely unfair MLB live bet void on: August 20, 2021, 12:35:44 AM
Hi Jason,

And you picked up this bet on both Stake and sportsbetio and maybe other places using the same odds provider.

So you mean Stake is not a robust Bookmaker and use 3rd party to place bets and users cannot bet on another website that uses the same Bookmaker or there's a chance of the bet getting void?

I don't have anything against Stake but this is insane in my opinion in the first place and secondly, how would a user know on which websites they cannot place the same bets on?
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 19, 2021, 09:42:41 PM
Please Give me 1 btc bc1qskp2hhaflujt4teqmnnzazjwllr04sg95vxw00 I am not a fraud, but I cannot even earn that much money in my entire life, because I am an idiot and mentally retarded.

I'll consider making this donation, maybe...

There are many schemes like this on the web; even on youtube, there are fake events from influential entrepreneurs promising that they will give double the amount of BTC sent to them. These newbies should know that these billionaires have no time for this kind of event, and they don't give things for free. Also, it would be better if youtube regulate this. Schemes like this are very obvious; it should never go on people's suggestion space.

Youtube, lol it's the best way for promoters to promote scams are yet to come and youtube doesn't have a policy that prevents future scams from being happening and websites like Bitconnect are using people to promote their Ponzi schemes and people in my local town promoted a Ponzi scheme to me and I laughed internally without uttering a word and never met that person again, It's more like Subconscious pushing me to get into it that pisses me off.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 19, 2021, 09:36:33 PM
Almost everyone knows that risk associated with gambling and still they are choosing it means its their preference or choice as said.

When they are ready to take the risk then they also should face the consequences if the results went negative.

It's true if someone decides to gamble and loses then it's on them that they made the decision of gambling and no one other than them can be blamed for it.
But when youngsters gamble without knowing the effects in long term then that really sucks, the majority will not know it till it has become a habitual gambling habit.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Liquid exchange hacked to the tune of $80 million on: August 19, 2021, 08:58:32 PM
I'm surprised that there's another exchange hack, haven they learned anything from Bitfinex and Etherdelta hack?

If the exchange is faking the hack then I wouldn't be surprised mostly if it's a dead exchange and people had money on it for over a month which is a lot of time to trust a source with your money when you don't know them in real life.

My conclusions would be the following if I had money on the website would be - Forget there's any money I own that is on that exchange.
Also, the exchange said they will inform the users but it's uncertain if they will get their money back.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2021, 08:47:05 PM
why are some individuals hostile to bitcoin,?? maybe the answer is simple, some are afraid of being rivaled, some are frustrated because they can't control bitcoin under their control, some don't understand and then change their minds so they hate bitcoin, there are also people who are impatient in investing, then they experience losses, In the end, bitcoin is to blame.

Yep agreed, mostly banks. Like I said in my previous post that Banks do not like their control to be challenged and it's not just banks, there are retarded people like Dan Pena who say stuff on bitcoin because they think fiat money is the only way to show your success and will do his best to make people disregard bitcoin, why?  Because it adds a new factor into his dictionary which is bitcoin but is not fiat "Which he used to show off his success". This a just one reason there are many many, I find people stupid, very stupid most of them that believe what he says without doing their research.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 19, 2021, 08:40:08 PM
For sure it would be  in over all revenue and wouldnt matter if its a losing or winning bet because it is just  too nonsense or would  really be a big work to be done if they would one it individually.
Just like on how traditional business would be taxed out where it would always matter in overall revenue.I havent seen that gamblers been taxed individually but rather the house itself
will really be setting some House edge change or something like that and we know that gambling business is really a profitable one and really sustainable.
Taxation is normal though.

I never placed any bets in local casinos but from what I have heard about those casinos is that Cops go there every now and then to collect their bribes from the casino.
And I haven't heard about any percent of the profit they collect per individual but I'm sure it's pretty hard to keep the record of every bet with the gambler.

The house that the casino has is 4%.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 19, 2021, 08:34:40 PM
It all comes down to the user interface for me,if am going to place some bets on a sportsbook and its difficult to navigate around or find the markets I desire then I wouldn't force myself to play on such a platform.

Sometimes it's about the competitions such as wagering contests or jackpots, these are highly likely to keep players hooked till they find themselves in contention for a prize and btw these are extremely competitive if the house has a big community.

Mostly it used to be like that for me till I realized that many good ponies I donated to had visuals and which gave a good visual sensation for me to trust them, how wrong I was when I think of it.
But there are good Sportsbet companies that care about visuals in comparison to the system.
Mostly new people who are into gambling are always attracted by the visuals and think if the site is so beautifully created then why would it scam me.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: August 19, 2021, 08:25:31 PM
I think poker is a game of skill with an element of luck, although there is an element of luck, skill will prevail in the long run.
And besides, manipulating the situation is also very important in playing poker. I mean we have to be good at acting in the game when we have good or bad cards and bluff at the right time and that doesn't mean you keep doing that method throughout the game and there are good moments to do it.
Poker is a relaxing game and can also test your adrenaline when your opponent is bluffing when the bet is added and if your cards are not convincing better not to do it and vice versa and that's luck.

Through skill yes but what if people who are at a level as you in terms of skill in poker even then the luck is necessary,
For example not always win with double Aces or Pre-Flop by going all in.

But making the call to go all-in at the beginning with double aces forces other players to make their choice as they aren't sure if their cards will beat the one who called All-In.

So I'd say mind games with luck more than skill but playing mind games is also a skill.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought on: August 18, 2021, 10:15:33 PM
I read the half article.. in between reading something else, What I think is that bitcoin isn't directly promoting the freedom of thought because it's a cryptocurrency.
But there can be forums or websites in the future that will be decentralized and will be on Blockchain so everything said on the website is final but creating such a website or public service will be quite hard.

That's just the basic idea of what I think the actual thing can be a lot better.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2021, 10:10:58 PM
For some time now I have constantly come across prominent individuals in society sponsoring hate speech against Bitcoin, most surprisedly These individuals either own traditional financial platforms such as banks and they are expected to be knowledgeable in investment and financial transactions and processes that seek to eliminate all the security challenges faced in the banking system through blockchain technology which give end-to-end encryption that guarantees a high level of security.

What are their motives could it be that they are just anti Bitcoin or attacking Bitcoin because it is a competitor that will soon push them out of business.

Recently I saw a video of Dan Pena a Billionaire guy, he said bitcoin will crash when it was somewhere around 4000 USD value.
But what happened is bitcoin started making its move  and reached the 60,000 USD mark, I'm sure people who listen to him are regretting their choice of not even having the opportunity because they fixed their mind on what someone said,

It pisses me off that how much influence these rich people have and don't think about their actions, it's like saying something just for the sake of the satisfaction of public approval is more important than what they actually say.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: August 18, 2021, 10:04:10 PM
Think reminds of the book "Wiley's Trading for a living" where the author talked about an alcoholic group where they would gather, do certain things and get over their alcoholic problems the same could be done when traders start gambling without reading the charts properly and without any technical analysis which is no different than gambling away their money.

What I mean to say is that there are people that are your nemesis and once you meet certain people in your life you'll realize they either hooked you up with wrong stuff or fixed some of your stuff, So it's much better to create gambler's group in real life where gamblers would gather where they'll have a good chance of meeting the right person.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 18, 2021, 09:57:01 PM
My opinion is that allowing the gambling industry to operate, even with higher taxes is much more preferable than imposing a blanket ban on all gambling activity. Take the case of countries such as India, Indonesia and Bangladesh. There is a blanket ban on gambling, but there is no dearth of illegal gambling dens. This results in ordinary people losing their hard earned money, as many of these illegal casinos are not regulated and indulges in fraud. Also, a part of the proceedings are used to bribe the cops and politicians.

It's useless if the government will ban gambling but they will not strictly implement the law, there's a big reason why they ban gambling and that is because they believe it makes people poor and will increase the poverty rate in a country, while some countries ban gambling due to religious belief.

Strict implementation is necessary so corrupt officials will also be punished.

I read somewhere that some casinos in Las Vegas charge over 10% house edge in most of their games and most likely they pay the taxes from those rather than the customer losing them but I'm not sure about it, Can someone explain what criteria the government will use while taxing the casinos.
Will casinos are paying the taxes only from the winnings from their customers but not on their casino's losing bets
Or every bet made in the casino will be taxed.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 18, 2021, 09:42:32 PM
Adrenaline is a survival hormone.

When a person is attacked by a predator, the level of adrenaline in the blood rises sharply.  This allows you to engage in battle with a predator.  Another scenario is possible.  A person can simply run away from a predatory beast.

Also, the adrenaline rush allows you to approach a beautiful girl and get to know her.  And then start a family and have children.  However, it works differently for gambling.

If a player plays daily, then he has a daily adrenaline rush into the circulatory system.  This destroys the human body.

Therefore, daily gambling is harmful.

What i have noticed from my past gambling is that the more money you state in gambling that you can't afford to lose then the adrenaline rush from it will be far more than normal gambling rounds and regularly getting that adrenaline rush is quite hard because you'll have to continue to bet the amount that you cannot afford to lose regularly and it will be quite a hassle in your life.

The life of someone who seeks such an adrenaline rush is doesn't always stays the same and soon many things start to become boring for them.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: August 18, 2021, 09:31:39 PM
totally agree that gambling with real money is not the same as without it, but there are games cool to be played even without money, poker is a good example, some people play it in an autotelic way, just for the sake of playing, learning and improving, not necessarily in a "gambling way"

Yes, games are poker are good examples where you don't gamble money but still use your luck.
Many people despise poker saying it's gambling and so on, and I don't blame them, People who become quite good in poker and start to read the percentage of their combinations in poker are more likely to gamble with real money and the thought in their mined for doing that will be "If you are good at something then why do it for free"
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 18, 2021, 09:26:07 PM
You are betting on the odds that the game's item that you own will be of much more value when you buy something in those NFT games so basically you are betting on the ods that aren't clearly specified but they exist.

It's quite hard to put this into classic gambling but gambling is most likely involved because the outcome of an item's value in the future is uncertain and it's similar to stocks.
