1082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 17, 2021, 02:07:34 PM
That's because there's always a newbie every day in crypto, that's why there are people that are still falling for this giveaway scams, they are stupid, ignorant and greedy which is a bad mixture when entering in something that involves money and then they end up getting scammed and then blaming crypto, it's a cycle.

People mostly new people hear about bitcoin for trading and not for anonymity reasons, but slowly most if not all get into gambling at some point in their life through gambling.
For reasons-
Its tax free and house edge is very low compared to real life casinos.

People, who think bitcoin is spreadsheet money always blame bitcoin when they are stolen because they shared their private key with someone online and ended up calling it a scam, and the reason being? "They don't know how private key works" and yes there are many more reasons they might end up getting scammed.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 17, 2021, 01:22:54 PM
Two thoughts on this one: Firstly, any sentence that has the word "children" on it should not ever be in company of "sex", "drugs", "gambling", "working",... You know what I mean. On the other side, each age and even each culture is a different world. You have kids that are mature with 14 years and you have other that are 17 (or 40 for that matter) and have little control and responsibility over themselves.

But there may be something good about getting ripped when you are 14 following a shitty youtuber scammer - you will not be able to loose a lot, as you cannot really open an account in most places if you are underaged, and you will rarely loose a large amount of money because you probably don´t have it anyway - yet you will learn a valuable lesson for life.

True but it is going to be hard, even if you don't use those terms while explaining they will eventually get to know of them on websites like coinmarketcap and some trading websites that promote services through their ad slots.
And there's a good chance it will have some sort of gambling service and children getting into those websites through those links, so yes it's really hard to keep children away from gambling without censoring the information.
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: August 17, 2021, 12:57:54 PM
I have tried both stocks and crypto but my experience with stock is not good because in stock we have less volatility as compared to crypto. I have entered in crypto market since last 4 years but In stocks I have entered in last 6 months I will say crypto is much more profitable.

Using bitcoin or any crypto for similar work of stock wouldn't work for a company because people controlling that firm would have to answer the taxes and illegal activities (if any of the company) to the government but with crypto, it's very hard to trace the payments which make it hard for a censored place.

It is not that bitcoin will do good in the place of stock but it's the control that it will challenge and people who have control in that place will do their best to maintain it.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 17, 2021, 12:07:21 PM
Lol,so we know casinos will always win and yet we  still play to catch fun, but when we loose why does it affect us emotionally when we had in mind that casinos always win? It's addictive to be honest and it takes the mind of the strong ones to stop playing casinos games. I tried so many times on stake platform and I noticed it's a game of luck, no strategy puts you through.

It's only true for casinos to always win where a gambler is a long term investment and the house edge will have an edge but there are people who invest their money in gambling for a short term, gets profit, and get out of there without looking back, but they will always think about how quick profit they made gambling and most certainly try to do the same again and again until they fail and some lose all their money and cycles repeats.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 17, 2021, 12:01:32 PM
Gambling is very dangerous and harmful to the society because its keeps one in a particular place and while away your time without you knowing with statistics not more than 30% of gamblers normally wins a game.. it’s very addictive to some persons more than drugs, because some persons uses the last money they have to place a bet and be ready for the results without reasoning on what to do next.. I’m of the opinion that 18 years shouldn’t  be an ideal age for gambling, the age before you can gamble should be the range of adulthood
While it is true that addiction can happen the majority of the gamblers can enjoy it without suffering any bad effects on their lives and if anything I will be more worried about people being addicted to their smartphones than gambling addiction as it is way more common, also in most countries people are considered to be adults at 18 years old so it is impossible to stop them from gambling if that is what they want to do, unless you propose that age is pushed even farther back which I do not think it is going to be very popular among the young population.

Yes, but unlike smartphone addiction in gambling there's also an adrenaline rush where the outcome is unpredictable and money is on the line.
So there's a huge percent chance that many people will get addicted to it, if not for profit then for that adrenaline rush it provides, And I think most of the earlier casinos started for that.
1087  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: August 17, 2021, 10:56:02 AM
My review -

Betting & Odds: I placed some bets on sportsbook and no issues there but with 1xGames, Not being able to verify the validity of the game sucks for me.
I'm not a frequent gambler but bets verification would really be good for many who doesn't prefer casinos where they cannot verify their bets on games such as dice.

Deposit & Withdrawals: Till now I didn't have any issues with the deposit or withdrawal but the minimum withdrawal amount for BTC should be lowered down, it's very high for many people right now.

Side notes: As I said in my previous suggestions, you really need a good UI, work on that.

1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: August 12, 2021, 08:36:51 PM
As of this time? Nope! Ethereum will never die and it will stay forever! I just love the fundamentals of Ethereum especially it’s real and positive use cases as well as their recent London hard fork upgrade that would make it greener.

This is why I am very bullish with Ethereum and it’s currently my major holding.

You seem very enthusiastic about ETH to me from your reply above  Grin
Coming to update on ETH network, yes that was a good move by ETH team, the price people were paying on ETH fees was insanely high and now they're somewhat low but still not quite low enough to transact the ETHs or Tokens at the whim of everyone.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: August 12, 2021, 08:08:38 PM
These can be very different reasons. This will certainly differ from person to person. What is normal for one person may already be a sign that more than normal gambling is going on for another. If you enter an addiction phase, you should try to get out of it as quickly as possible. Write down the symptons.

I don't think it would be very much possible for the person to get out of the addiction after getting into it without realizing it.
Most of the people who get into the addiction to gambling always chase down their losses till losing it all and repeating the same cycle again and again.

Useless someone close to watch their habits they will not be able to get out of it.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: August 12, 2021, 07:59:01 PM
So imagine, every transaction is posted on a public ledger where the contents cannot be changed since it is being monitored by almost all people who transact using BTC. The reason on why the blockchain technology has the highest level of trust is due to the miners which constantly check every block to validate all the possible contents of such block. So if you attempt to change the contents of one block, another miner would be able to see it and it would verify it accordingly to the genesis block.

That is the reason on why it requires so much power whenever you mine BTCs as it computes and verifies all the block on the blockchain technology.

Exactly and once a transaction has been confirmed a few times on the blockchain then changing or reverting the transaction isn't gonna be possible useless you own 51% of the network, I'm not saying that's not possible but it's rare to happen especially now. In the times of 2009-2011, it would've been much easier for big companies but there wouldn't be any use because bitcoin was not as much popular at that time.

But now there are a massive amount of miners and it's quite hard to pull of 51% attack through their resources.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 12, 2021, 07:41:32 PM
From my experience and gamblers i know will only use this to try to make more money in gambling so they can cover their taxes with the winnings which will somewhat lead them to losing all the money..

Taxing the money on everything is the government's job to make money and make things worse for the people.

Each country has its own rules regarding gambling tax. There are countries where you have to pay tax on the profits per month. In month 1 - 100,000 eur profit, and in month 2 - 90,000 loss, then you will have to pay something of 29% tax from month 1. Count out your profit. But I don't know to what extent governments are actively involved in checking such matters.

Are you sure? I haven't heard about huge taxes like this one 29%.
I've heard in California the tax is very huge somewhat around the percentage you've mentioned but are the taxes the same in every state of the USA?
For checking matters i think government checks the people on priority who're earning a lot of money and keeps on checking if they're paying their taxes but i'm certain agencies like FBI keep a regular watch on huge transactions and keep inquiring about those from authorities and authorities get the basic idea from that.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: August 12, 2021, 07:35:09 PM
expect can be realized, especially for now the coin price continues to increase.

I don't think everything you say I get 100% but yes most of the altcoins right now is gaining momentum including bitcoin and ETH.
This is the time where whales decided to jump in and interfere with the crypto market, I can't say for sure for how long this will continue before the bear market arrives.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to Trust, Fiat Banks or BTC? on: August 12, 2021, 07:32:15 PM
I trust big banks to keep my data secure as I know the regulations around this are pretty harsh especially for banks.

Are you kidding me?, The place where i live banks usually share my data with some advertisers and this pisses me off.
I've only 1 email and that's registered specially to online banking of the bank that i use but for some reason, i get emails on different soaps, Doctors for penis enlargement (lol) xD.
Banks can't keep ur data secure, you're data is for them to make money.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: August 12, 2021, 06:48:59 PM
Currently I admit that Binance Smart Chain is very smart because it can excel from ethereum in terms of very cheap fees
and even many projects that use smart BSC contracts. Ethereum has to quickly find this solution and fix its very expensive
fee if it wants to stay in its current position. So yes, Binance has a chance to outperform ethereum.

That's one of the best things about the Binance chain but I am still seeing many projects that prefer ETH over BNB, the best ones.

The fees of the Binance chain are 10 times lower than ETH but ETH is far older than the Binance chain so there are always people selecting tech which came first to support the innovation of the person who created the tech in the first place.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 12, 2021, 06:42:17 PM
From my own experience and from what I believe I think paying in bitcoin will be better and I believe in future the payment method will change from fiat to bitcoin because I believe more companies are beginning to accept bitcoin as there payment method so I believe with time they will also start paying there staffs with bitcoin which will be very nice.

For those who have transacted fiat and bitcoin, of course they feel very different, bitcoin is better in many ways, speed, no errors, and of course very safe even though sending or receiving with large amounts, hopefully Amazon will be a pioneer of e-commerce transaction systems so that it makes bitcoin is increasingly being used.

The feeling of accepting crypto will become a norm after some payments and people will actually prefer it over cash once everything in the market can be bought with cryptos.
Why would someone accept payment in their bank account and pay 15% taxes when you can spend the whole amount you earn.

1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you'll Sale bitcoin on today? on: August 11, 2021, 09:29:03 PM
Selling Bitcoin at this point would be a wrong decision. Because Bitcoin has come back to the downward trend level several times and it is gaining strength and is currently growing. The price of Bitcoin is currently rising and a lot of market analysis looks like it will go further. So the decision has to be made by reviewing the situation and keeping an eye on the market.

I might sell bitcoins at this point looking at the resistance being hit and the price is revolving around 45k B/USDT.
What i think is there's a very good chance that previous support will be tested again and you will be able to buy more bitcoin after selling at this price around 20% more.

But there's always a possibility of it going above 60k B/USDT.
