1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 27, 2023, 07:41:03 PM
Money is good, but I realized that if you have money you have higher chance of making more alot. If he to strategize well, he will be making a lot from sport bet and that's why he have the guts to post them.
That is the fundamental of money for you,  you use money to make more money and in gambling is a game of luck and once your luck gaer is on you have the floor to yourself at that time, but them you must also have to be very calculative in your approach to a lot of things,  and for sure the be a lot more of risk when you have much resources to gamble with,  and sometimes if you are an ambassador to a casino,  you easily get funds to gamble with.

But in the man's situation, haven't seen anywhere this mentioned that he has any affiliation with the casino used for that bet.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / How safe do you feel with casinos that ask you to input your log detail. on: October 27, 2023, 07:29:27 PM
With the recent happening as related to phishing, and hacks of accounts a lot of awareness has to be created around the gambling community most especially,  in the area of security and safety of accounts.

This has led me to desire to know the community,  reaction on this subject matter of user login details being frequently asked by a casino,  do you feel safe to see a casino asking you for user name,  or phone number and password each time you open the site in your browser.

To me, a session n n should last until the gamblers close the browser instead of being online and when you want to backspace or check out some feature outside your current mode the prompt for a new login comes up.

I feel unsafe with this and I have avoided the casino,  but that is just my thought but it be nice if I had your views on this.

Are you positive or negative on casinos asking for log-in frequently or do you feel unsafe in putting your login details every time?

hello

can someone please explain me the pros to deposit FUN on FreeBitco?

thanks in advance

cheers
Interest paid over your holdings up to 25% annually by locking your FUN tokens on the platform. You can choose between 5 different packages, which go from 15 days to 360 days. It means that during that period of time your tokens will be untouchable and you will have to wait until the time expires, so you can cashout or sell your tokens once again. Usually, I lock my FUN for 30 or 90 days to have more versatility over my tokens from times to times.
Yeah,  I think locking my token for 30-90 is fair enough considering the risk that may be involved in choosing the 360 days lock period that is almost a whole year and between a lot will have happen within that period of time,  so choosing the 30 days or 90 days max token locking period sound suitable enough and also lower your risk level at some point.

1964  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 27, 2023, 06:45:28 PM
I have also noticed that is is quite difficult for moderators to lock ANN threads, I don't actually know their reasons behind that but they do not lock ANN threads easily. This might be, incase 1xbet returns with a new thread, the would be asked to continue in their formee thread.
You are very correct, i have always thought the same thing and what i end up concluding is just the same thing as you have assumed.
<...>

Yeah, I think you guys might both be right here.  It does seem like once a moderator or admin locks down a thread, the person who started it probably can't unlock it again without getting one of those admins to step in.  I've seen that happen a couple times on this forum before for sure.  but really, I'd say were the ones to blame here - all of us forum members that is. If we just stop paying so much attention to this thread, it'll fade away eventually like old threads do.  I've noticed those 1xbit shills  don't hang around as much anymore either, probably because they arent getting paid anymore.
Really may be the rules of moderation in the ANN board is quite different from that of other boards,  because I have seen where if a moderator lock a thread,  even the thread starter won't be able to unlock the threads and if you try to you get an error message stating that the thread was locked by a moderator and can't be unlocked.

But if such a feature does not apply to threads in the ANN section,  that means we have to bear all the spam that will be put in our faces by these scammers for a long while.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Mattress Mack" loses nearly 10 million dollars on Astros Loss on: October 27, 2023, 04:59:47 PM
Edit

Well, I think that person was not jealous of the "Mattress Mack" as mostly we feel jealous of our friends or anyone close to us (Whom we know personally). We do not feel jealous of the famous personalities around us, or do we?

I think in this case, the man was frustrated because he himself had lost the bets and seeing a successful gambler near him, he just showed his frustration and nothing else. Instead of criticising him, we should feel pity for him and need to know the hard facts of his life due to which he reached this situation. He must be in desperation in life, we never know.
at this point,  criticism is no longer necessary thos is so because the did have already been done and at that, and the only thing we can learn from this situation is the lesson as not to go all in on a bet,  no matter who the team or players are,  and we should only gamble with what we can afford to lose and be fine with without a pressure on our mental well being for a long time.

First, we have to acknowledge the fact that gamblers are in different classes and a small amount that gambler A consider as nothing may be a big amount for gambler mr B so we have to accept this fact at all time in between and never get confused by any form of attempts.
1966  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: October 27, 2023, 04:46:09 PM

Obviously the forum's most favorite "sport" is debating about Bitcoin's price/market, and trying to predict other coins' prices. Perhaps Shuffle's next promotion in BitcoinTalk should be centered around Bitcoin price predictions? A promotion on guessing the price of Bitcoin during the next halving would be very very good. I'm confident many people would be happy to give their predictions, with or without a prize. Cool

Or if you want it to be more educational, maybe a prediction of the month when Jerome Powell decides to pivot from QT to QE. Everyone also loves debating about that.
Bitcoin price prediction game will be a nice one but then we have to consider the timing of all this,  when you want to do a promotion,  first thing is to decisuthe the timing and what approach to take that will attract the right audience to your platform and first among which is to put the reputation and capabilities of the site to test,  and the best way to do this I to run a review campaign.

Just like I suggested yesterday,  because such a form of promotion gives members the mandate to register for a d test around the casino and thereafter give their honest reviews about the project here in the forum,  this form is a short-term long-impact promotion
1967  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: DCA BTC-USDT- ₦ my current formula due to Nig situation on: October 27, 2023, 04:35:43 PM
this thread discussion should be focused on the statistical analysis of the current market situation and how best we can apply the DCA approach to stay at gains using the naira vs the USDT and thereafter USDT vs BTC.

As we can see that the market is fast rising in exchange rate of usdt to naira, this means taking opportunity to get an investment opportunity in USD will be of great benefits because by next week now we don't know what may turns out on the exchange rate, the idea is on two basis now, exchage rate is fast increasing and then bitcoin is also pumping in price, this is my own take in this present situation, if you're going long then take advantage in investing as you can afford, if you're into trading, DCA is the best pattern to go about for now because you're going on a short position.
At the moment Nigeria is trading against the dollar in the parallel market and just like the BTC gain and trying to establish a resistance price of around $34k-$35k, and the Nigeria naira made some gain against the dollar by relying on around the #1250 value,  this shows that the United state dollars hard a bad market against both currencies and bitcoin still remains the highest gainers for the week closing at Friday.
1968  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Peni*s is the most insensate organ in man's body on: October 27, 2023, 04:30:24 PM
Say no to RAPE. Do not allow your urge to destroy you. It's quiet unfortunate that men get punished for committing offence against women whom themselves are often times guilty of.

When did you hear a woman sentenced for rapping a man or even sexually assaulting small boys? You think women don't do this things too?

Dear men, stay woke and focused so you don't allow the pleasure of a few minutes ruin your life and your family name.
Na mumu dey rape woman for this Naija woman full scatter. Everywhere you turn women mount and are ready to go, why person go take risk say him wan rape woman? Government supposed bring law wey go make those wey rape person collect public beating first before any other punishment.

Women dey rape man too but e no plenty. Some mumu men self go happy make women rape them that na why plenty law no cover that side.

My advice to boys be say, rape na risky something... no go collect things full for your body untop five minutes pleasure because plenty of our girls dem carry things and things for body. Unto say rapist no dey use protection, na express them dey go so o.
True true this discussion is very necessary because at first there be need for sexual education among young adults such as we here because a lot need to be learned even as a married couple and not just single people,  but also we need to make a bold statement as regards to rape and even the federal government gave life sentence to those that commit that crime,  rape is animalistic behaviour and a mental disorder same as rituals and the rest of those mental deray line of thinking.

But then men are more involve in this case due to the fact that,  men have more physical energy to force a woman more than it is that a woman can possibly do same to a man,  so the case of rape is like gambling,  even though women involve in gambling,  it is still referred to as the man thing at some point.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spirituality and Betting - Do they Have any Connection? on: October 27, 2023, 03:57:12 PM
Now, my question is, does God play a part in our gambling activities? Do you think how much faith or not, we have in God (or whatever we serve as a God) has anything to do with how much we win or lose in sports betting and gambling in general?
There is no where in the bible that talks about gambling as a sin, but it is in the bible that the love of money is the root of evil. Gambling supposed to be fun and be done with little amount of money. If a christian is gambling with very huge amount of money and thinking God will help him, he is only digging the space of depression for himself and if care is not taken, it may be worst than depression. I do not know what I can call this than stupidity and he is testing God, and which is wrong.
Exactly,  back then in the old days while as an undergraduate student I wrote one course exam like that where this question was put forward by I e of our lecturer.

What is the place of God in football match/ gambling?

Where is the place of God in politics?

All this are great questions that help us get some level of information and building a scientific understanding around those subjects terms,  I believe that in gambling and politics god is just a spectator.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: October 27, 2023, 02:28:15 PM

You are right and I completely agree with you, it is good to drink coffee, but even while at it, we can as well but some lottery tickets as well, for we never can tell what will happen through those tickets.

When comparing money spent on coffee to that spent on lottery tickets, I can personally say that I perceive money spent on buying lottery tickets as money kind of invested because there is a chance of good profit if the buyer is lucky.
But money spent on buying a coffee is like money thrown away, as there is no chance of making any profit from such money, aside from the enjoyment and pleasure felt while drinking the coffee, outside of this, that money is like money thrown inside a toilet since the coffee will eventually be pissed out.
Well a cup of coffee can still boost your morale to make some more money from your work,  but losing from the lottery can drain you of that motivation,  so I say both lottery ticket and money spent on Cofee is and are all the same unless in rear cases which we can't rely on to make any judgement about this, anyways we have to also take the time to place everything around each other and not try to compare what is not comparable at some point.

Doing that may drain us from engaging in more active and relevant discussions,  and to avoid that we need to focus more on the most relevant of them all which is proper money management.
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT EXACTLY IS A DEFI BUSINESS ? on: October 27, 2023, 02:23:16 PM

Back in those days when most projects are trusted and stands on their words even there are most of them that comes to launch without running an ICO, IDO and IEO yet they are successfully launched in exchange with good prices then but what they mostly do is that they just involved themselves with an airdrops after which they share to applicants and they sells out with a good prices. Then we can say of believing in their words but not now whereby people has turned the cryptocurrency space to a scamming industry were anyone would just come to scam people with fake promises and after their target are being met the close and fold down, same thing are applicable with some cryptocurrency exchange. The most important thing is that when a new project is launching we should be very mindful in times of putting our resources as an earlier investor because most at times those who often comes as an earlier investors are the people who always falls victims of being scammed.
Back then projects where serious in pursuit pf their road maps and achieving a real-life relevance in the market,  back then there were records of multiple successful projects and at that, we have records of good altcoins to lay hold on and make some good investments,  some even go as a long term investment,  but the various crisis that has faced the market has made it almost possible to be able to point to any of those successful projects back then.

Be that as it may,  we can't deny the recent flooding of the market by fake projects that have drained out investors and most of the projects in that category are where you see a project just popping up and making several promises without any workable user case for the investors to rely on as a liquidity for the project,  this is why we have seen a lot of the pumped and dumped coins that we have around in the market today.

1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 11:19:27 PM
I feel bad for the lady. If she decides to leave the relationship, I think it would more than just about money.
Yeah actually if a man will have I mind to use there wedding savings for gambling he is not worthy to be married and if I'm to be in the shoe of that women perhaps I will be left with no option but to leave the man because if a man has the mind to gamble using there wedding savings to gamble there is every possibility of using there house someday for gambling.

Irrespective of how sure a bet may seem, using money saved for wedding to gamble is totally unacceptable and a person like that should be referred as a gambling addicts.
Making contributions to get married or even taking loan to get married with are both not a good ways to start a family,  and one of the cardinal points of marriage is the ability to sustain your family as a man,  and in doing that you as a man must have a good income system and on long term base to avoid running into bankruptcy after the wedding and everything and if care is not taken and proper arrangement is not made by the man before marriage,  the pressure from the marriage may force one of the partner to walk out of the marriage.

So for a man that have such issues with gambling even though he is not financially stable is not yet man enough to start a family because there is the possibility that in the future he may start gambling with their children's school fees or be unable to pay the bill due to being exhausted from gambling passively to make an earns means.

Hmmm... I find it very difficult to believe that he isn't bothered by the fact that he's spending his cash without really getting much of an income/cash back.. honestly. If he's actually letting out his history online, then I believe he's got 'em in full consideration... If he's not also thoughtful about it in a good way, then he isn't bothered about it...

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
To some extent,  that mack of a guy have hard long time history and records of loads of winning before now,  and if that be the case he already won and he may have become used to this kind of situations because no being boardersd about a 10 million dollars lost is something that is born out of his long term experience in this space and that goes a long way to also point to how much he may have won from this games on the past to have been so confident to risk such an amount on a single bet,  although he may be under some influence e.g.

addictions,  thos could be as a result of him chasing particular directions that may not be so favorable to him at some point. P
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT EXACTLY IS A DEFI BUSINESS ? on: October 26, 2023, 10:53:28 PM
this makes the Defi market only look like a mere speculative market and nothing more that at some point in time.
But if you must know don't you think the entire cryptocurrency market are basically on a speculative aspect, as everyone seems not to be certain about the outcome of the results rather being optimistic that something may likely happen, this could be growth ( bull run) or decrease (bear run) and based on popularly said about the two seasons.

So it's very easy for someone to say something but that doesn't mean it must happened and even if it happens that doesn't show that such person is an expert because we know these are two things possible that we must experience and anyone who speaks according to the direction of the market often claims to be a professional which to me is not rather I can call such person a speculator.
I agree with you on that,  off course the whole cryptocurrency market is based on speculations but in doing so,  we have to measure the risk level,  and try to compare them among coins to be able to ascertain which of the coins is less risky and worth the risk at all,  even though we are in an uncertain market,  and we have to rely on luck to be able to choose the right coin that will lead to that anticipated profits in the long run or even short term base.

On the second note,  the ability to right predict the possible outcome of a market is uncertain sometimes,  but still we have a few of those projects that say what they mean and mean what they say,  but projects at that level are rare and can not easily be discovered with just our ordinary inquiry but you must have to hard long time of follow up on them to be able to choose rightly.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 26, 2023, 10:47:24 PM
Talking about player injuries, it seems that Barcelona is also facing a new problem because their loan player from Atletico, Joao Felix, reportedly suffered an injury in last week's match against Bilbao. However, it seems that the injury is not serious and he will be in the El Clasico match this week. It is possible that even if he is included in the squad, it seems that Xavi will not take too many risks and I think he will only be benched or only come on as a substitute to freshen up their attack line. I hope that the news that has affected the players who suffered injuries ahead of the El Clasico match will recover quickly so that we will see the two teams competing at full strength.

Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cy1UbMaswe5/
At this stage it more important for club to protect their players from getting injured even though that may sound impossible but realistic if common wisdom is apply because we have seen the impact of players injuries on the overall performance of the clubs several times before and the negativity around such absence is too expensive for the club to bear and at that should make out ways to keep the players out of injury zone.

The news of Felix's feature in the next Barcelona outing is highly relieving for both the club management and fans since we will be expecting a good time out in the next match as said.

We can expect to see more price uptrend movement in the coming days because the signal from the recent market reactions have shown that clear intention and data that bitcoin has already broken that benchmark of 30k which has created a lot of resistance for the price since it took a lot of time before we can achieve that,  and if Bitcoin price can sustain this price benchmark for a week or two,  it then become a sure bet for speculators in the season and even beyond.

Roger that, will add for you ASAP! More promotions coming soon, we run a lot of promos outside of Bitcointalk but I'll see what we can do in adding some more forum specific ones.
Yeah I have seen a few of the outside-the-forum promotions but then I haven't seen much here in the forum aside from the signature campaign that is actively ongoing at present,  but since you already mentioned that you are about to do another form of promotion here on the forum,  so let me suggest for you if you don't mind.

The best form of test promotion for your casino is to conduct a review campaign that way,  you have many who subscribe to that promotion to be able to be part of the casino after giving their honest reviews about you casino.

Unfortunately, this is what happens when you invest your money in cryptocurrency tokens. Very often the price of the token falls and you lose your money. But don't feel bad, maybe at the next bull run the price of FUN will rise and you can make a profit. At least you enjoyed the free spins.
Gambling tokens are very unrealistic and with a few of such coins getting dumped in the market with out any chance of recovery make it not worth it to invest in such casino tokens,  unless in situation where those tojens are used as utility coins in the casino and have to offers some form of incentive for their customers who use those tokens to gamble on those casinos.

We need to then be very selective and make sure to pay close attention to the development of those tokens and what their long-term road map can be before we ever choose those tokens as investment choices.
1980  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Supreme Court Justices a Shame or Praise on: October 26, 2023, 09:42:54 PM

I already knew the judgement was a miscarriage of justice. The Supreme Court justices are all compromised,  so it will be an aberration for you to expect justice in an unjust judicial system, you can see how the petitions we all thrownout for lacking of merits, petitions that ordinarily have substance they use technicalities, to struck out petitions without looking at the nitty gritty of the petition, just look at the way they were just using technicalities and excuses to shut down the petition, that tells you that this is a miscarriage of justice.
It is what it is,  regardless of the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement it was already a settled deal a long time ago because if the result of the election or the main date is a stolen one,  the winners shouldn't have been sworn in on the first place,  this is the limitation that we have in our electoral law and this was something that we have to change this law but then the rolling class will never allow that to happen because that will be a big climb down on the scam scheme.

What do you expect from the judgment of a judge who is appointed by the ruling party and mostly by the president at some point and that is why he must dance to the tone being played by the president.

For sure nothing can remove Tinubu,  from office right now,  since he is sworn in and already has his cabinet members,  anyways we also must know that no politician is clean from all this kind of fraud.
