Two years back the best investment was cloud mining. Your bitcoin will work harder for you to get you new bitcoins. But now it seems like negatively earning business. I have lost half of my investment, still waiting for my ROI. So, in my experience bitcoin is the better investment to grow over time.
Cloud mining opportunities nowadays haven't the same nice reputation as before a few years ago..we noticed so many times scammed sites shown their-selves as cloud mining services, but in fact its just ponzi schemes |

There is no such thing as small advertisement.
We should keep talking about it over internet, real life, etc.
We may also need some strong firms to use bitcoin in couple of their services (like spotify etc.)
using bitcoin by investing it in such services could be good tool to advertise it as well i think that the best method to advertise bitcoin is just investing in the great sites which support the bitcoin as payment processor |

There are bunch of ways for doing this .Market,stocks or gambling are the shortcuts but as said "shortcuts are dangerous" so please take caution before taking them.What I can advice is use bitcoins to earn more bitcoins ,start a legal trade like a website or you can loan it to someone using an escrow .Let it grow maybe start your own signature campaigns,overall choose a strategy which involves hard work over shortcuts .
I think you missed another good method to growing our bitcoin, it seems simple method but it is working very good for a lot of people, it's just selling the goods and services for bitcoins |

Yes greed is the first emotions which would break your determined mind set while doing gamble. Either in trading or in gambling people would get greed very much easily as a human nature. Earning 1000 btc with faucet funds will be really difficult and slow. It might be impossible but you will need a TONS of luck to achieve your goal.
It's likely impossible to earn 1000 btc just with faucet funds, however i think even with huge amount from your pocket it's very hard to achieve this sum of earning by gambling in short term Yes with faucets no one can reach 1000 bitcoin even in 10 years unless bitcoin prices come down very low levels. Faucets may be used for time pass or in between doing forum posting. People like faucets as they think it's a free money. But solving a captcha also a work. well when u need some free money, even thought it is very little, it still can give u ton of leisure. or even cover the transfer fee, or even the little bit more to withdraw ur fund. all these may matters to some when they just fell short of a bit. Yes fauceting can make some earnings needed for real by someones for such transactions or paying some fees and so on, but we talked about earning this amount of 1000 btc by just faucets funds it's not possible in my opinion |
