Hey All, You ALL know who I am and all know me to be an honest guy with some good info (usually...NO joke tho, I've been bit before too). Right now, I will do my best to answer some of the last few comments made here in BCT concerning Flycoin and it's wallet. The latest wallet (v2.0.0) will show, in ' some' of the anti-virus software in todays' market, as containing malicious code. IT DOES NOT!! Trust me on this one. I wouldn't put my reputation on the line in sayings it is a 'clean' program if that was not the case. So many ' real' coding issues arisire, and so quickly, that even if you D/L todays' virus update list...it is already out-of-date. Kinda like buying a new car...it is worth 'X' amount until you sign the contract to buy....You lost 5% (or more) before it leaves the lot. The different companies peddling anti-virus software are just trying to 'cover their ass', so better to say it is contaminated than...duhhh..we don't know. Mark it bad. Bottom line...FLY v2.0.0 is clean to run and when a false/positive 'virus/malicious' issue, error, message 'pops up', just tell it that it is OK to execute. You will only need to do this once. Most AV software does another 'quick scan' after it opens and sets it into the exempted list. Disclaimer: I can only stand behind these statements if you D/L from an OFFICAL source; ie. the OP listed here, or http://www.walletbootstraps.com/ .. I know those to be trusted sources. Another problem which seems to be plaguing some users has to do with 'Staking'. Everyone: this is extremely simple...I am currently at block 66733 and NOT ALL of the changes take effect until Block 67000. All you need do is point your mouse at the bottom, right corner of the wallet. It shows the block number you have last synced. ALL changes from the OLD wallet apply until block 67000 is reached. Lastly: If ANYONE is still having a problem with the install of FLY 2.0.0... please check to see what the version is which you are attempting to update!! Flycoin v2.0.0 is updating the last, past version FLYcoin 1.9.3. There is NO NEED to wipe out your /user/appdata/roaming folder of flycoin. A very simple 'cut/paste' or 'drag/drop' of the FlyCoin-qt.exe is enough. Anyone may PM me here @BCT for further assistance. Disclaimer: NO PROMISES...but, if you did these simple directions...I will never hear from you. LOL!! I will try to help others...again, no promises, but I AM pretty good at figuring out a wallet install. My BIGGEST, MOST IMPORTANT piece of advice.......BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP!! Hope that sunk in!!! Wow...this all sounds GREAT...but with some reservations. First: When you say 'FREE', does that mean 'no transaction' fees as well? Second: How will you know who is really 'dumping', just to get back into the game with a 'private sale' for cheaper than it was dumped? Sorry to be such a pain...but I brought a lot of ppl into FLY and don't wish to see them 'screwed' because they stood with me, in support of FLY. I am holding mine for now...but, comon, if the price is right, who wouldn't sell now and then say later..."Hey vegas, I support FLY, can you sell me some, cheap?" Just being realistic Team-FLY. Why this place becoming so quiet? I understand that I reserve the right to cancel the program at any time , but some time ago FLY was more active and I liked it more. I didn't check, but team may be busy with XDE2... Actually, TeamFLY is very busy with working out a small kink in the new FlyCoin wallet before it's release. It has taken some serious man-hours during the testing phase but moving along nicely. Hope to have it released soon, but this one will be perfect before it comes out. CapnBDL |

This is the biggest scam ever. The wallet has been dead for months. The coin has been dead for months. The dev has been....yada, yada and now I get an email notice from YoBit about SPX trading on the exchange and it is such a rare coin. You must be kidding me!!! This was a lost cause long ago. Wake up YoBit...even YOUR wallet doesn't sync. No such thing as resurrection for SPX, even if Easter is coming next Sunday. CapnBDL |

Ah, I hear you then. Everyone deserves a break when things get frustrating. I only commented because some people do use the source code from GitHub (myself included), and I'd hate for someone to lose their coins because they didn't read bitcointalk. ++++1. Allow me to make things a bit clearer... DO NOT UPDATE YOUR WALLET YET...YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR FLY!! . It will NOT be refunded!! Correct version is 1.9.3, as listed on the OPs page. I would hate to see someone try to 'jump the gun' and lose what they worked to get. Best advise..wait until the devs are done...if you try to compile on your own, right now, your FLY will just disappear, with no way to retrieve. Be smart...you earned the amount you hold. Tough choice for me to make, but if I get any smaller, I am considering pointing my hash at the solo pool and hoping for the best. Yes hex has acted in immature flippant manners, but in all cases I've witnessed he was tossing the trash out of his establishment. Cleaning house and Scamming are different acts. I would be more at ease if Hex & Company would grant a few rights to a larger board of trustees to handle disputes and collateral materials. I happen to think your idea may have some merit. I believe a 'Board' would take that load off of Hex and sa_ddam's shoulders and leave them more time to accomplish what is needed technologically at Cryptopia. Maybe something along the lines of some select shareholders being tasked to deal with the riffraff. Just some thoughts on the matter. It is a moot point of view though. No harm, no foul. |

I haven't seen ANY credible evidence here of any wrongdoing by Cryptopia, yet the solid facts are constantly buried by the relentless slurs from professional trolls. Yes, Hexx is an ass, but being an ass isn't illegal yet, and he runs a good exchange. His name is on the public paperwork. He's not hiding. You may not like Hexx, and hell he probably doesn't even like himself, but these guys at Cryptopia are doing everything right. Give 'em a break. For those of you having syncing issues (should be most of you). 1. Close your wallet. 2. download : http://www.keesdewit.nl/XDE2Coin.rar and overwrite your roaming/xde2 folder 3. Restart wallet.
