26  Economy / Services / Re: ***FREE*** 7 character or under Vanity Address (split key) on: September 04, 2013, 11:23:38 AM
Thanks! I've always wanted that prefix. Sorry I couldn't send you any more of a donation. Do you ever work on the vanity pools for a bit of extra money?
27  Economy / Services / Re: ***FREE*** 7 character or under Vanity Address (split key) on: September 02, 2013, 11:08:49 AM
1Cocaine prefix would be great. I like Eric Clapton and think it's a funny address. Case sensitive would be best. My computer is far too slow for 7chars. It generally crashes when trying to generate addresses!

My part public key is:
Code:
046D4F1597E4B654971AC27992504C849CEC3AED00454F5170884C44B5114747F4ED808D5C56D17E6F91309B254CB5A59CDB415EE39D021C751F9B2ADE40949E01

No problem if you can't. Thanks.
28  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank Software :: Demo Instance Available on: August 29, 2013, 05:13:02 PM
It is only a demo, and should not be seen as an investment.
I hope that the demo is fully functioning. We shall see at 1am.
29  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Martingale alike systems that you had success with. on: August 29, 2013, 08:03:07 AM
I turned 3 BTC into 10 BTC on just-dice by betting at 33% (3x payout), starting at 0.0001 BTC, doubling each time I lose, and resetting when I win. I got really lucky.

I actually had started with 0.43 BTC a few days before, got it up to 1 BTC, invested it, went to bed, then I was playing 33% starting with smaller amounts... had a run of losses, tried to change chance to 49.5% and bet 0.1, but I typed 49.5 in the payout box, so it was 49.5x, but it still won! 4.85 BTC profit from a single bet due to a mistake. Smiley

With 6 BTC total at that point, I donated like 0.65 BTC to a site and a friend, and then I lost like 2.45 BTC playing on JD. Then I was like, well, I'm not going to do much with this 3 BTC just sitting here... and one of my friends offered to match 6 BTC so I could buy a computer. So, I set my bot to go from 3 to 6 BTC. It did. Then he was like, $600 is a lot of money, so I set the bot to go from 6 to 10 BTC. Smiley

I'm still not sure how I got this lucky.
I think you should quit while you're ahead! Ridiculous luck with the 4.85 profit though. You said you used a bot? What bot do you use?
30  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Anonymous Bitcoin Transactions with Coinjoin on: August 29, 2013, 07:57:26 AM
Wow. This is way above my head! I didn't even realise this was possible! I hope this project continues to grow and that anonymous peer networks can be found easily and quickly in the future.

I received my payment! Thanks! Best of luck in the competition.
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any sympathy for an ex-gambler who lost 2.15 BTC? on: August 25, 2013, 09:37:48 PM
I feel sorry for you but considering you've managed to mine blocks I think you have had more bitcoins than I've had to play with. I have lost a similar amount of bitcoins. It hurts a lot but at the end of the day it's just money. You learn from your mistakes.

I've seen the bad side of gambling a few times. More so recently. I won't mention names, but within the week a person took out 50btc from coinbase without having the money to back it in their bank account.

They then proceeded to gamble with it on a dice website. They thought it was harmless until they lost it all. In a panic they started to contemplate suicide, taking out loans, and etc. They eventually decided to take more BTC out of coinbase without having the money to back it and attempt to win their losses back. Thankfully, for many people's sake, they did indeed win back their 50btc loss, plus a couple btc extra. Still though, that's some destructive behavior and had they lost again who knows what may have happened.

Be careful when gambling- If you cannot handle it, get out while you can.

Scary story. I hope I never become addicted.

I'll vote if you send me the link. Thanks!
35  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info security [FUNDS STOLEN] on: August 22, 2013, 09:11:50 AM
Only a handful of addresses are known to be affected thus far. Likely if you have been affected by this problem your coins will have been taken already. All affected users will be refunded in full, please PM me or email help@blockchain.info.
That is very good of you. I feel very comfortable using blockchain.info. I think google should refund all affected users too.

Interesting that this is going further than the android problem. Perhaps someone should update the announcement to include refreshing the blockchain.info version.

37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi, I need a small loan on: August 17, 2013, 09:15:13 AM
I think I've given up on the loan
Best of luck with whatever you needed it for. If you have a way of transferring $20 like Bank transfer, Amazon voucher etc. you could try trading in the currency exchange section of the forum.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi, I need a small loan on: August 17, 2013, 08:41:10 AM
Haha i'm just kiddin' guys, I'm obviously not gonna blow someone else's money on slot machines and expect to make a profit.
What are you going to do with it then?
39  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Large bitcoin mining farm mining 4 blocks a day having made 1600BTC on: August 16, 2013, 03:40:05 PM
Why is it we will triple encrypt our wallets, cold store them in vaults, have paper backups, NEVER allow them to be online because we are paranoid of someone getting access. Yet, we see an OBVIOUS trail from a solo mining farm back to Avalon and someone thinks "Oh, just rich people buying and selling BTC..."  Roll Eyes Angry

Can you show the transactions going from a known Avalon address to/from a mining farm? The addresses I just showed don't go to or from any addresses with new coins generated.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227103.msg2945456#msg2945456
Good detective work. It makes me sad that Avalon would do this.
40  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bad signatures leading to 55.82152538 BTC theft (so far) on: August 16, 2013, 03:29:10 PM
Sue google for your losses! Maybe not. Pretty unfortunate really. I guess someone was bound to write a script to look for these transactions.
