22  Economy / Marketplace / Re: WHY INVESTORS (INVESTORS) SHOULD ATTEMPT TO ETH AT THIS TIME? on: October 12, 2018, 01:34:06 AM
As for the personal view of the OP, You should also consider that Ethereum bagholders are usually ICO project and as this bear market, they will easily dump it if necessary. They need funds to channel out in their operations so its really hard to grasp as to where the price could go.

We actually didn't see it coming, aren't we? I mean I never saw an article nor speculators that consider ico dumping their eth as a factor of the price to decline. If we just got that before we surely sell at peak but of course we're likely optimist about eth position in the market. The ICO dumping had entirely affect the price in which decline by ×12 of its ATH.

I mostly bag eth and had loss a lot and despite of everything, surprisingly I'm still an eth fan and even this will be a win or lose situation I still hold mine. Truly a test of balls, and mine has some cracks.  Shocked
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating New Coin or Invest in ICO on: October 12, 2018, 12:52:21 AM
So what made you think that creating your own shit coin will give you profit and neither investing on icos. I heard creating an erc20 based token is somehow easy especially if you're an IT and maybe this is why we have sea of shitcoins on dex.
I suggest to put your money and time on those established coins like bitcoin and eth and you can sleep soundly.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: October 11, 2018, 12:20:42 PM
So this "receipt" is just a piece of paper and it's value is backed by bitcoin and guaranteed by some bank?
Wow,such a great innovation.Such receipts already exist and they are called fiat money(the only difference is that they aren't backed by anything). Grin
I guess that Citibank will try to file a patent about this shit.... Grin

Sarcasm at its best. I like that. Grin
These guys behind this want to fool unknowledgeable people and they're actually looking for that. This whole thing is ridiculous and hopefully no one gets on the trap.
We don't need banks for storing our bitcoin, why people keep on trying to centralized bitcoin? It's honestly and obviously bitcoin is better off this way. No need of fuckin banks.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List Bounty Bitcointalk on: October 11, 2018, 11:48:59 AM
Tele channel update the Bounty of Bitcointalk: https://t.me/icoNewtoday
This new channel for people to see the new bounty can choose bounty to do
It will be good if you only provide legit bounty campaigns, with the result that when you give suggestions to other people with the emergence of a new bounty campaign you have done a research first scam or legit the project. If you have really done this and can be trusted by many bounty hunters, you can charge each member in your telegram channel. Outside there are many investors who were hesitant to invest in ICO and also many bounty hunters are still confused about a project that is not yet known to be a scam or legit. Being able to continue with the effort you have done will give them confidence in the ICO project or the bounty campaign is restored.

It's hard to tell whether the ico is scam or not since there's some that plan their exit scam after the ico, unless the team didn't do their looks-like-legit team and they caught early. And besides why OP bother to update the spreadsheet? He doesn't even got one cent from those icos. Honestly, I just rarely see bounty that worth the time.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I earn a merit on Altcoins Section? on: October 10, 2018, 03:08:04 PM
I post majorly on altcoin and i post contructive post but i don't received merit. I also want to ask how will i make post that will give me merit, i have post 123 post  so no contructive post right...

Here you go. Often read threads in Meta. Hope this will help.

As a top 10 merited user I feel qualified to post this guide, this is to help new users and users who are reasonably established to level up.
I am adamant the no1 cause of no merits is poor English, this is something you can change if you are struggling to get merits so if you know that this is the limitation then you need to take some steps

* Improve your English language, this isnt just spelling and grammar this includes using words like Sir & Mr when I see those I imediately asume the person is a 3rd world poster
* Spend the time that you currently use posting incoherent rubbish to learn proper Written English, start with youtube there has to be over 3002 different videos about writing the English Language
* Read a few English books, you can download free Ebooks as a starter, look how sentences are structured common words etc.
* Remember a quality post isnt necessarily a long winded post, using words that make you sound like you swallowed a thesauras doesnt help your cause

Take the above advise and stop trying to level up for 3-6 months you will become a quality poster if you use some more of your free time reading the forum, this doesn't mean bounties, altcoins, speculation all the shit subs.. and only post in a few threads every week, no need to try to max out the activity now, sure you want to keep getting towards the higher numbers but its counter productive when we see high activity and 0 merit. Read technical discussion, read all of the most merited threads, understand the significance of Pizza day, the 2011 bubble, Cyprus, HODL, the fall of all the securities that some of us lost the equivalent of $Millions now.

one other thing, you need to stop these bounties, I know it hurts you now financially, but seeing someone in a low end bounty for $20 just makes me asume they are a 3rd world poster and with a great initiative by BTCforJoe there is an option to help
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3055616.0
That thread is a tremendous Idea so props to OP there

Now take my advise as you will, you are entitled to your opinion but I believe if you took the above actions you will be in a position to apply for the higher paying sig campaigns in 2-3 years from a newbie  that's right you could be earning $300 a week from your signature if you put in effort and took some short term pain think of it as a training course to get 3x the Philippine's average family income.

This will all go above thousands of users heads, but if it just helps one user to get out of poverty by bettering themselves then it was worth writing.

Edit - link for English lessons https://www.duolingo.com/course/en/ar/Learn-English-Online

Also read the forum rules, I am not spoon feeding you the link as you need to learn to use the search button as well, once you have mastered the search function of the forum you will be able to check if your topic has been posted about before
27  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Let’s exchange knowledge for knowledge! on: October 10, 2018, 01:23:13 PM
Hey guys,

Cryptomotors is in the race for the HOT ICO of the week on Tokens Marketplace!

If you support Cryptomotors, click here and vote! https://twitter.com/TokensMarketpl1/status/1049962461326135296

Thanks! we are technically not an ICO. But thanks!!

Ok. What actually are you?
You're having a bounty campaign which isn't new here.

And we're aware that there's some bounty that doesn't have an ico as they are based in US in which ICOs is prohibited.
28  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Let’s exchange knowledge for knowledge! on: October 10, 2018, 05:02:33 AM

Allright so I though this is just pure good heart that you want to share your knowledge and you got us there but eventually you guys are having an ico. May I know why? Of course to fund your ideas and work but enlighten us further.

Blockchain is the greatest invention , but in my county Philippines, it is used as a means to fool people by scamming,  almost 100 million pesos was taken away to individuals with those staffs,  and now they are in jail,  the only knowledge that i can share is do not invest into some project if you don't know if it is legit and most important, study first what is blockchain. Crypto wiki app in playstore can help even just a little.

And also do not support blockchain centralization. It is better as decentralized.

Those scammers used bitcoin to scam and blockchain has nothing to do with it.
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 40 Interesting Facts About Bitcoin You Don't Know on: October 10, 2018, 04:06:26 AM

18. & 40  they counter each others points and only 40 is the closest answer.

I think no. 18 is the closest since first 50 bitcoin was mined on January 3, 2009 so approximately it's almost 10 years. Though we're actually have 17,313,875 bitcoin in which already mined.

41. Hal Finney was the first person to receive bitcoin transaction.

Lol! Seriously? I'd rather create a good and quality posts than to donate 10btc. I'll just hold my 10btc and dont care to be a donator.

OP, this is your first post in altcoin section and the remaining posts were in off topic. Instead of asking this and that why don't you go and read the threads in Meta and help yourself.
But in meta, there's a lot of high rank who effortly looking around to find some lazy account for doing plagiarism, spamming and many more. The example of their thread is on this link ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0 ) .

Like what I said before, this is the most common part or moment when you come back from the real world. I don't have a lot of time on this before, so expect that all of my post is from my training ground ( off topic ) is one of the most interesting part when you are a newbie. Also, the english is not my local language... so it means I need to adjust more to make my skills more efficient and flexible.

So? If you didn't plagiarized nor you ain't a spammer then nothing to be afraid of. As long as you obey all the rules then there's nothing to be worry.

I understand that you have a language barrier but posting in off topic can't merely help you. It's better to try to read more, do some research like initially you should know even the bitcoin history so all of the topics in bitcoin discussion nor econimics will make sense to you.
31  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I will share some signals from the automated trading system from time to time, h on: October 09, 2018, 02:58:31 PM
Resting is more important than making money Grin

Ok, I won't argue with that one.  Grin

But from what I a read though, those investors or traders who became successful spent a lot of time and I'm assuming that they got seldom rest and sleep but hey, "health comes first"Smiley

Absolutely. Just because they don't want to miss anything they suffer their health to acquire more profit but unfortunately what they earn will just go to their hospital bills. Isn't it?

It's better for OP to show his wallet that contains his profit, nobody will believe him if he just bumping this thread with his TA. Well, honestly I don't believe trading signals, it's just so weak.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be like Bill on: October 09, 2018, 01:56:57 PM
This picture make me remember how stupid i'm when i sell my ETH in previous year, but it never gonna happen again in this year. I will keep hold my coins for a very-very long time.

At what price you sold your eth? As far as I remember, last year price isn't that good so I don't think there's nothing to regret. And maybe it will be more regretful for not selling it last January when eth had its ATH with $1200.

Bill hold too much altcoins. Don't be like Bill.
Be like Ben that hold bitcoin.  Cool
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I earn a merit on Altcoins Section? on: October 09, 2018, 01:18:15 PM
You can post anywhere in this forum you will earn sMerit as long as you make a good and informative and helpful post for others .

Smerit doesn't need to earn, you can have a sMerit if someone merited you.

I think you can buy ratings like their donations get ranked by giving donations. Try to open your donation and read pages there. If you send a few btc, your rank and brand are different from the others and even your rank will become a cooper member and if you send more than 10 btc then your rank will become a donator

Lol!

34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitart's post review topic for newbies to help them earn 1 or max. 2 merits on: October 08, 2018, 02:18:50 PM
But Forcing some one to write somewhere is not a good idea in my opinion.

Technically, if you force to post in section that you don't know actually then you're literally spamming and turn to shitposting.

Don't you see Bitart are doing you guys a favor but it seems you'd just took it for granted, and you're a bit overreacting.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple Tips Keeping Your Bitcoin from Hackers. on: October 08, 2018, 12:51:14 PM
For me i protect my bitcoin by SMS phone verification when i want to access to my bitcoin account from another computer

Don't you think that it's more vulnerable? What if your phone got stolen and saw that you're into cryptos and so he is? It will be a game over.

Keep your computer antivirus update.

Yeah especially when your private keys are on your computer and you don't have any back up. That happened to my friend and unfortunately his entire investment was gone instantly.

I think the safest is having a hardware wallet, it quite pricey but you're assured that it won't compromise easily.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines Deports Mastermind of $33 Million Bitcoin Pyramid Scheme on: October 08, 2018, 11:39:58 AM
Philippines is a crypto freindly country and lots of people are benefiting from it and since there are so many pyramid schemes happening in this country I just hope that this wouldn't create an impression to those who wanted to learn or invest in this awesome technology.

Do you think this is a ground for banning bitcoin in the Philippines? Will bitcoin regulation save those potential investors not to be scammed? Share me your thoughts!

Honestly, there's no correlation between the fugitive that hides in PH and PH for being crypto friendly. The article was about the korean fraudster that scammed people with over $33M and even a little bit it won't affect the position of PH government towards cryptos.

So what's with the fuzz?

Aside from the fact that SEC had warned the people to be vigilant from this kind of investment, so in return as an individual we should take precautionary measure.

Warning again? This is what I've usually noticed. In the foreign countries, our fellow Filipino will be sentenced to death after committing a crime whether intentional or just a self defense but when a foreigner committed a crime here they'll be just deported despite of the big damage they bring to us like this $33M scam.

Well I think the death penalty is depend on the crime that's being committed and varies with the country. And so far even our fellow filipinos that scammed other nationalities were just been deported and let government give the rightful punishment likewise vise versa.

39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There’s a lot of hype with Cryptos. Why? on: October 05, 2018, 01:57:39 AM
Yes ,i often see hype tokens on social media ,So far as i know hype coins is not good to invest,Because if therwa no hype anymore the coins wilp be dead also.Sas that some devs use crypto influencers to hype their tokens or coins.

Hype coins are more likely a bubble and if you're got caught on top you'll leave hanging there. Usually, they create a hype in the community so many will get curious over it but normally end up shit.

Don't get lure to it because potential icos doesn't make noise hence their victory should be.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New coins supported on Ledger Nano S! on: October 05, 2018, 01:23:10 AM
You can see which coins they are currently working on here: https://trello.com/b/5nQ1mdzt/ledger-roadmap

At the moment there are a couple of bigger coins in development (ADA, IOTA), but unfortunately the majority are just more shitcoins, half of which I've never even heard of: (Musicoin, Callisto, GoChain, Cosmos, etc).

Just wondering why Nano focus on those shitcoins, they don't even deserve to be store in hardware wallet and I think nobody cares if these shitcoins get hack.

Agreed. It is really hard to install some software just access funds, example EOS. Why do I need to install fairy-wallet if they integrate it into the software? I don't know if their in the process of adding it, but I think their not, just like Dapps on Ethereum.

Maybe just because EOS is still innovating that's why they having a hard time unlike on those erc20 token based.
