21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance or folkdelta or bancor on: July 31, 2018, 11:21:55 AM
These exchanges each have there uniqueness, but Forkdelta is the odd one here because it is a decentralized exchange in its own class and while binance and bancor can be seen to be classic and traditional exchanges they also have their puculiarities. Bancor basically provide easy liquidity to tokens by offering interchanges between all supported token pairs but at a fixed rate, binance provides a more regular exchange service of great trading volume and support large number of coins but with limited exchange pairs. So, for ease of use I go for binance.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pakistan to Urge Towards Cryptocurrency Due to Economic Crisis on: July 31, 2018, 10:53:30 AM
Only cryptocurrency will break geo-economic barriers and bring about balanced prosperity around the world.  Many more economically backward nations will some get this fact and join the crypto train.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is the foundation on: July 31, 2018, 10:30:21 AM
I agree with you. Knowledge everything to both the beginner and the seasoned. As a beginner I made so many costly mistakes that I can only look back and wish I knew better.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you sell your coins? on: July 31, 2018, 10:21:06 AM
This question is more like why do I breath out after breathing in? Buying and selling coins is at the core of the crypto market and I do both to keep alive and remain relevant.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is trade war good for crypto? on: July 30, 2018, 08:32:08 AM
As the world's 2 biggest economies tackle each other in a trade war that could lead to what may become the biggest shakeup and re-alignments in global trade order, are we likely to see new funds flow into the cryptocurrency market from the commerce and trade sectors?
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Failed Projects Returning Investors Money on: July 29, 2018, 11:20:48 PM
My personal recommendation is also to stay away from ico, because it takes a long time for an ico to actually complete the delivery, and there will be various unprepared situations. Much of it is done halfway to directly cancel your qualifications.
You are still lucky. Can be returned funds.

If we all stay away from ICOs how would startups raise funds, and how would coins ever make it to the exchange? Airdrops are not so safe either.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: July 29, 2018, 11:07:05 PM
Besides new wallets and scam ICOs, bounty hunters and airdrop chasers should check very carefully before participating in such campaigns. Scammers are now more than ever using airdrops as baits for hacking and phishing. Please avoid any airdrop that gives direct link to your MEW or other wallet account. You may end up on a scam wallet site.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell tokens? on: July 21, 2018, 10:02:46 AM
There are many exchanges springing up these days giving token traders the freedom of choice, and at the same time making it hard to find the right exchanges for specific coins. The ideal solution would be a wallet that gives the ability to inter-swap all the tokens it supports. I know of a certain project promishng that possibility, but I can't recall which one it is.
29  Local / India / Re: Supreme Court of India has postponed its verdict on Crypto till September 11 on: July 21, 2018, 09:09:25 AM
I don't understand why nations reject bitcoins when it should be embraced as the perfect financial instrument to democratize any economy, which is what I think India needs. Bitcoins is really huge, rejecting it means missing out on something big and accepting it means taking in something really big. So, let the Indian authorities act wisely.

I just imagine how urgly I would look in my angry state and change my mind.

Hi mods, instead of sending postcards which takes days or even weeks to verify why not use utility bills or other document to verify addresses?

I was paid all honestly!

Honestly?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]: OPEN Platform * 3% Pool! 6M Bounty Token! & Contests!* on: June 23, 2018, 10:59:16 PM
What the OPEN team just did is clearly against the principle of natural justice. Taking from each man according to his ability and giving to each man according to his labour is fair recompense but, the OPEN team has taken from us even beyond our individual abilities and have given to the investors according to their needs.

So here we go! https://blog.openfuture.io/uncategorized/open-bounty-audit-completed-and-final-results/

"All participants in the BTT content campaign have been awarded 500 stakes in the bounty contest for each piece of content that they created."

"The total number of stakes awarded has been 195,366,399 and each stake in the contest is worth 0.0491 OPEN tokens"

So that amounts to 500 * 0.0491 = 24.5 OPENs ( ~$3.68 at current price). Am I missing something here?
What a tragedy this is for all the participants who worked hard to write articles.

Looks like we've been working for 9 months for a penny... It is very sad! There was lots of work! Work was always! The participants of bounty responsibly and efficiently performed the work, but earned very little! If you divide my earnings for six months by the number of days worked, it turns out that I worked for 1 USD per day. I'm rich!!!

I have read the announcement carefully and I see no iota of fairness in the  decisions taken by the OPEN tean with regards to bounty rewards. They are rather most unfair and unjust. It is like robbing Peter to pay Paul, and all for their own interest.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]: OPEN Platform * 3% Pool! 6M Bounty Token! & Contests!* on: June 13, 2018, 11:44:30 PM
I understand that the distribution of tokens has not yet been made to the participants? The administration has already voiced any deadlines when this will be done?

We all waited a long time, already want to close this issue.

Thank you.

I agree. However, as it seem nobody from the team is looking at the thread. They are certainly not responding... Which is kind of strange, if you open the thread.

When will the spreadsheet be updated and when can we remove the signature?

It is kind of commn these days for bounty administrators to delay token distribution way beyond stated timelines on some execuses, the most common being "we've got so much work to do". Unfortunately, they "reserve the right" to do anything including changing bounty rules or outright suspenrion of Token payments. Any responsible project should be able to abide by stated obligations no matter what, or promptly provide information to clarify bounty participants of any genuine, unavoidable delays. Afterall, timelines are integral objects of contracts.
39  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 10, 2018, 11:32:20 AM
i honestly think begging for merits should be also banned for life.Everybody crying about merit and requesting for almost nothing.

Shouldn't we rather accept the merit system and move on? Merit has come to stay for the best interest of this community as proposed by Admins. Thankfully, Merit is instilling sanity in the forum. But just like any other rules the full purpose of the Merit system can only be realized through effective, fair and balanced implementation. Despite the good intentions behind the Merit system it has a  major challenge which is the lack of objectivity in the award of merits. In other words whether or not a post or comment deserves a Merit point is at the discretion of the giver. OK, a really, really good post deserves some Merit points, but most times you come across some Merit winning posts and you can't help but ask: What really passes for a really, really good post? So long as the award of Merit points is subject to the personal judgement of the giver Merits can't be said to be a true measure of the responsibleness of a member or the quality of his/her posts, and is open to abuse for the same reason.

I am not sure if the e-mail received was for the signature bounty or for that contest bounty. Can someone confirm that he received the e-mail but did not participate in bounty contest?

The email they sent was about the Bounty Contest and has nothing to do with the bounty based on this forum. I really don't know why there is no communication about the bounty done on this forum and when I ask about it in Telegram nobody dared to answered. I really hope that there is nothing wrong with this or what..
Just relax. Everything is moving well. They just collected the last information on the 6th. It will take them some time to remove those who didn’t conform the information. Also u should be happy that they are not talking about this bounty in the Telegram group, too many people will be jealous. So please don’t go into the telegram group making noise about when bounty!!
