21  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Alert] MetaMask Drained by phishing. on: May 16, 2024, 03:22:22 AM
The Galxe platform is well known, as everyone uses it to participate in airdrop campaigns and the Web3 community to earn Tokens, NFTs, and OATs. However, when it comes to emails related to this platform, you must be very careful because if your email is somehow exposed, the scammer knows very well that you will not mind connecting your wallet and giving approval permissions to the malicious contract of the phishing site that he sent through the fake email by enticing you to claim a currency.

Despite your loss, you are lucky because the ETH on the C-Chain wasn't drained. I hope you succeeded in revoking your wallet for both affected blockchains. Once again, refrain from opening any links through your email, especially if you're connected via your phone. It's best to bookmark these links, whether they're for Galxe or any other platforms.
22  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People are interesting talking more about their success stories. on: May 15, 2024, 09:36:38 PM
There is no successful person who has not experienced failure or loss. The nature of this volatile investment involves risks and financial losses. Some can reduce the risk rate; others face these risks without experience, financial management, etc., and fail. Most people talk about their successes and learn from their mistakes without having to disclose them because doing so may make them feel ashamed and lack experience. In addition, sharing failures might demoralize others, so they are focusing on spreading the positives of their journey and the success they achieved from their investments in cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin.

Indeed, learning is not just from a successful investment. You’re right OP; you can learn a lot from others’ past failures to avoid repeating their mistakes and shortcomings. In fact, even those who have fallen victim to scams, after they share their experiences and what happened to them, help others secure themselves against similar scams. If you use the search feature above, you’ll find many stories of members’ failures, and numerous articles from prominent investors and traders are available through search engines.
23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Join Our Fight Against Crypto Scams - Contribute to CryptoLinks.com! on: May 15, 2024, 07:21:06 PM
I took a quick look at the link to your platform, and what I found is that most of the memecoin projects and their official websites (not phishing links) have been listed, and the following was mentioned in Cryptolinks:

Usually, you get in this category because you are hiding your team, you have a bad reputation(you are tricking, deceiving, scamming people), and you haven't got a written project whitepaper or is a shitty one....

Meme coins are worthless, and indeed, these projects do not showcase the team behind them or publish a professional whitepaper or even a well-designed website. Perhaps most of these projects are rugpulls and scams, but you, in the current listing criteria on your platform, will put all the memecoins in the category the same way. You should support your claims about scam projects with evidence and references, as suggested by previous members. Also, I think having all platforms and projects in one category is not ideal. It would be better to create categories for each type of scam, such as phishing links, memecoin projects, exchange platforms, Ponzi schemes, etc.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 15, 2024, 02:57:39 PM
If you really want to make some profit with meme coins, find them on Coingecko and research. Now I'm not advising you all to do the same as me but I'm just sharing what I do when investing in meme coins.
Finding the correct memecoin to invest in through Coingecko isn't that simple because you might come across a coin with a similar name that's not the original. Notably, listings on Coingecko are free, so any project owner can list his currency by filling out one of the forms containing details of the currency project. Even trending coins on X might be surrounded by numerous impersonation accounts, scams, and malicious smart contracts.

You'll be lucky if you find the official project account on X and Telegram and invest early.  My point is that investing in these useless memecoins relies heavily on luck and requires deep research that takes considerable time and effort. There are no guarantees of making a profit from them or that the memecoins you invest in will reach the ranks of WIF or BONK. Ect. Therefore, don't set your expectations too high or let others mislead you into these highly risky investments.

26  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removed my red trust on: May 15, 2024, 02:07:02 AM
LMAO, I just visited reputation board this minute and realized that OP also made a thread about this... thing.

Ironically, what OP tried to do gave the exact opposite of what he aimed for. He tried to disprove that he's part of a campaign abuser and multi-accounter, yet he somehow [I believe mistakenly] PMed me and made a fuss about it, though the one exposing and mentioning his name is Albon[...]
Very funny. When the OP gave up sending me private messages on the forum and Telegram, and after I blocked his accounts on Telegram and stopped newbies from sending me PMs on the forum, he also started bothering you. It is worth noting that he admitted to his actions on Telegram but denied his involvement in cheating in this thread.

Transferring tokens from one wallet to another doesn't necessarily make him a cheater, but when someone makes dozens or hundreds of transactions using the same wallet addresses, sends fees, and then joins a campaign with these wallets, a check on Ninjastic will easily reveal his alt accounts and entries in the spreadsheet.

I already know that he has a farm of alternative accounts, but I only tagged the accounts that he used to cheat in the Vone campaign since I was responsible for payments after the incident that occurred. And, of course, If I accept his apologies and forgive him, he will undoubtedly use his account to cheat in other bounty campaigns managed by different campaign managers, which would be unfair to the other tagged accounts used for cheating. I really don't understand why OP insists on keeping this account despite having multiple newbie accounts. Did he have good memories of earning money dishonestly through this account?  Cheesy
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Notcoin Mining on: May 14, 2024, 12:58:17 AM
You, OP, seem to be among the first people to discuss the Notcoin bot here. Congratulations to you and all the first participants and miners who worked on mining this coin several months ago. I hope you can successfully claim the airdrop and, once trading opens, achieve good returns.

I missed out on this coin because I didn't know about it earlier, but I believe there are more opportunities and fresh clicker apps like this. Telegram Apps Center posted about these fresh apps for those who missed out on Notcoin, like me. Check out the attached image; there are many Telegram bots to earn game tokens and more rewards. However, it's hard to predict which upcoming project might be the next big one after Notcoin.

I'm currently working on BOOMUP, MomoAI, and Cubes has anyone heard of them before?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 13, 2024, 11:57:30 PM
What do you guys think? Will NOT pump after listing or will it get dump?
Most of the tokens whose launchpool is completed and become available for trading witness a huge price increase. However, this rule isn't always applicable. For example, this Notcoin will continuously release airdrops to its community, which might cause the coin's price to drop due to the selling activities of airdrop recipients once the coin enters the market. Indeed, Binance mentioned this reminder in its [Announcement] about the Notcoin. It really does not matter whether the coin's price rises or decreases, as you won't lose any of your staked assets after receiving these coins for free. In one case, you may only face a potential loss if the price of BNB drops, assuming you participated in the Launchpool through BNB and the Notcoin does not achieve the returns you hope for.

Frankly, I see that there is a lot of hype now around this coin. Binance is not the only major platform that will list it; there are also OKX and ByBit. I hope that the participants in the Launchpool will be as fortunate as those who receive the Notcoin airdrop, although they will need a substantial amount of BNB or FDUSD capital.
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dips are temporary but Bitcoin is forever. on: May 13, 2024, 09:59:48 PM
Since Bitcoin, like other cryptocurrencies, is prone to price volatility, it undoubtedly experiences DIPs, which is a natural aspect of the market as a whole. Indeed, DIP and its depth may occur due to many factors that may cause this, and this temporary price correction for Bitcoin or altcoins presents a good opportunity for entry and investment at a low price. However, we must also consider technical and fundamental analysis.

Buying a dip is an excellent decision to increase our Bitcoin holdings and achieve profits when the price rebounds again to the rise. Bitcoin has experienced many strong previous Dips throughout its historical circles in previous years. Whoever benefited from these price drops in Bitcoin at these times and leveraged them is the one who knows well the importance of these Dips for the long-term investor and trader.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was holding on to Ledger and I got robbed on: May 13, 2024, 08:18:51 PM
Which secure BTC Wallet do you recommend for me to hold?

I heard about 25th words of 100 characters and multi sign.

I thought about Tails live USB which has electrum in wallet.
The Tails of Linux distribution on USB is considered the same idea as creating a hardware wallet but at a lower cost. Frankly, I think using a hardware wallet will be faster and more efficient in terms of usage. But the decision is up to you in the end. The Electrum wallet is among the best and most famous open-source Bitcoin wallets. Still, the risk of draining or theft of funds may occur in any wallet, whether cold or hot. This may be due to your negligence in securing the backup phrase for your wallet, or the PIN code, or any of the other additional security methods, or not activating two-factor authentication, and your negligence in protecting and fortifying your device from trojans and viruses or connecting your hardware wallet through WalletConnect to any unknown or untrusted DApp are also potential risks.

Therefore, I agree that before using any wallet, you need to know and understand security and protection measures first so that you can hodl your assets in the wallet safely away from scammers. Also, you've gained experience from the previous painful lesson, and I hope that you'll be able to protect your assets, wallets, and devices safely in the future.
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it advisable for a beginner to invest in a newly launch project? on: May 13, 2024, 01:06:44 AM
some project can look very real and promising but at the end it won't work out the Way you expected, most of the project can decide to reward the first set of people who participated from day one just to make it look real, so as to attract people, at this point you will see a lot of people investing in that project without knowing their intention
Safe investment decisions are often found in the old projects in the market. However, analysts and YouTubers often entice beginner investors to participate in these new projects, and these promoters may be part of the project teams. I agree that airdrops and giveaways these new projects offer to early participants or their communities can be smart promotional tactics to lure potential investors and push them to invest. Of course, not all new projects are scams, but the largest percentage of scams, from my point of view, is seen in meme coins projects that you do not know anything about.

Therefore, it's not easy for novice investors to make the right choices regarding promising new projects. This is due to their lack of sufficient experience and the increasing number of new projects, making it challenging for them to select the right ones, because the numbers are not limited to a specific number of projects, and also conducting research requires focusing on reviewing many of the basic and important points of the project and the currency and the weak points that could be as clear indications for them to stay away. So whoever cannot carry out his research with great skill should not invest his capital in projects he has not studied well.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake website on: May 12, 2024, 11:38:23 PM
Some beginners and new investors may make a mistake in choosing the legitimate platform on which they will deposit their funds for investment or purchase Bitcoin. These fake or phishing sites may have been found through search engines, promoted as advertisements, sent to them by strangers, or discovered through their email.

It is very easy to identify and detect these fake domains and scam sites that mimic the official domains of famous platforms by conducting necessary research, checking reviews and ratings, and using browser extensions like Scam Sniffer as an excellent solution for anti-scam and identifying scam websites. Also, whoever has bookmarked the official domain links of these platforms and activated notifications for their official social media accounts is certainly on the safe side, as they will be obliged to deal only with these legitimate links only and avoid others. It is also advised to avoid new and unrated platforms and instead deal with reliable, established, and top platforms in this field.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taking advantage of this red market? on: May 10, 2024, 02:13:05 AM
Well people might want to know that you guys think this is a perfect opportunity now to load up on BTC and ETH? I think people should take this as the perfect time to buy the dip while the dip exists now.
Altcoins have witnessed significant declines in the previous periods, as there were some tokens that reached -30% in a single day, coinciding with the decline in the price of Bitcoin and many other reasons. It is worth noting that these declines that occur in the market are healthy corrections and represent a good and suitable opportunity to enter. It is not uncommon for investors to enter when the price is rising and in the bullish market. There are many solid alternative coins whose prices were heavily discounted alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum. Personally, I prefer to take advantage of any dip and rely on technical analysis, chart monitoring, and staying informed about current news to make informed decisions.

I don't particularly appreciate focusing on just one or two coins; instead, I prefer diversifying among several attractive altcoins and allocating my USDT capital based on the strength of each coin. Stablecoins play an important role during the red market to bolster your holdings for sure.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find and hold in Atlcoin effectively? on: May 10, 2024, 12:59:36 AM
In short, choosing a new Altcoin for the next growth season is very important, requiring patience and research from you. But besides that, determining a reasonable holding period is equally important. If you hold too early, you may have to endure losses for a period of time, and this is the time for many people lose patience leads to losing stock before that Altcoin really enters its growth cycle. Ignoring temporary losses to hold until achieving results is a difficult job, not everyone can do it when holding Altcoins, because often during this period there will be a lot of Fuds to depress the price. Therefore, choosing a reasonable holding time will eliminate these negative psychological effects, making it easier for you to hold.
Each person has his own way, skills, and tools for doing his research. The four steps you mentioned @OP in your topic are undoubtedly effective for researching and succeeding in holding altcoins. However, the research should include many other aspects, such as the whitepaper, roadmap, examining the project team's previous experiences, and considering expert opinions and recommendations to educate ourselves with more information and insights about the token project.

In my opinion, it is better to set a goal that the price of the token will reach for buying and selling rather than specifying or predicting a specific time because my expectations for the time and year that I specified may be incorrect, and this is due to the nature of this volatile market. Long-term holding is one of the safest choices. I agree that impatience, not giving time to follow project and market developments, not accessing all hidden information about the project and its token, and not maintaining psychological balance can lead to negative results. Naturally, altcoins go through periods of stagnation and growth, so it's best for every investor not to sell at a loss, wait, and ignore any FUDs being promoted to drive investors out of the market.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana memecoin is trending on twitter.. on: May 09, 2024, 11:15:35 PM
Are you holding any?
I haven't held any of these coins that have been popularized on the Solana blockchain and listed on the TOP exchange platforms. I have been aware of some of them for a long time, including the Dogwif Hat coin, because I do not seek quick and unguaranteed gains that contain unbearable risk.

What matters to me primarily is the safety of my capital and preserving or increasing it through investments with lower risk and solid projects. Because it is not possible to determine with certainty which of the Solana memcoins will create a boom or achieve 100X returns, or gain popularity and large communities like the coins you mentioned have created, and  Indeed, the market capitalization of some successful meme coins, this year has been impressive, surpassing many other altcoins. However, there are no guarantees of their sustainability in the future or continued attraction for investors.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's responsible for the dead coins? on: May 09, 2024, 01:57:53 AM
There is no specific reason for the death of tokens. If you go back years ago, you will find that Coinmarkcap contained many of the leading tokens at the top, which have completely disappeared now and been replaced by other tokens.

Perhaps the reasons for the death of a token, in my opinion, could be due to wrong decisions made by its team or developers that led to its collapse and death, as happened with Luna. It is also possible that the token team, which owns a large percentage of its supply, might dump it if the primary motive is fraud in the first place. Also, the incompatibility of the coin concept does not align well with blockchain in terms of use cases, which led to its downfall. The lack of attraction and interest of Investors or the shortage of liquidity for the coin's team to continue developing their project and paying employees’ wages and marketing campaigns to promote it or pay its listing fees could also contribute. Also, the coin may be exposed to massive protocol exploits or smart contract vulnerabilities. There are countless other reasons, but what I see is that most meme coins are susceptible to this inevitable death and transition to zero because their projects are fragile and lack strong foundations.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can a newbie make investment before learning? on: May 09, 2024, 12:58:50 AM
Investing requires dedicating enough time and effort to learn, gain experience, and become familiar with the basics and terminology circulating in this field; learn about wallet security, types of wallets, how to use them, and the various scams used by scammers to drain the wallets of their victims. I can liken it to driving a car; if the driver lacks experience and sufficient knowledge about driving and the car's components, he will inevitably collide and may face a traffic accident that could endanger his life.

Most of what falls into the hands of scammers are beginners who do not give themselves enough time to do research, follow market developments, acquire knowledge, and read articles, educational materials, forum topics, books, and other reliable sources of information. The category of inexperienced investors is easily targeted by villains, and they are among the reasons for the continuation and success of their malicious schemes. Also, investment contains risks so that these risks can be identified and managed, the appropriate capital can be determined, and a strategy can be developed.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are your holdings ready for this altcoinseason? on: May 08, 2024, 09:33:25 PM
I'm confident in my portfolio of solid coins, but I don't think they're quite cutting it. I want my investments to bring in serious wealth. I've heard about meme coins making people rich overnight, but I'm a bit wary of jumping into that arena. By the way, do you think older coins will see the biggest price surges compared to newer ones? What are your thoughts on this?
Suppose you have already carefully chosen solid and promising projects, conducted your own research, and ensured the ability and experience of the token team to achieve great successes and achievements for it, as well as the token's capabilities, potentials, and use cases. Why do you not believe that what you hold of these currencies will not achieve your desired success? You must have one convincing reason that made you say this, but if you are looking for huge wealth and meme coins that will make you wealthy, your excessive greed may cause you to lose what you aspire to achieve in terms of returns or lose what you have in terms of funds because meme coin projects are not guaranteed. They are a game of luck in that they are only suitable for speculation and short-term investments, and they require great expertise in choosing appropriate and non-rug pull coins.

Of course, the old altcoins in the market have their reputation and status among investors, and they can interact more wonderfully during the altcoins season. They are safer than new projects that can bring you higher profits, but you are not guaranteeing its continued success or survival or being exposed to any failure in the future. Therefore, it carries a higher risk.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Only Sell what you don't need. on: May 08, 2024, 07:29:25 PM
For me, I find that the best solution for investing in Bitcoin is for the investor to have a fixed source of income. I do not prefer for anyone to sell his property, inheritance, or even property that he does not need, as these old properties can be financially beneficial or needed one day in the future but may not be purchasable at their old cheap prices due to price increases, etc. or because Bitcoin does not yield the returns needed at that time.

Whoever does not have the capital to invest in Bitcoin must commit to financial management and risk management, make efforts in multiple jobs, and rely on more than one method to build their capital or sell their services resulting from their experiences and skills online. Also, it is best to refrain from taking loans or selling expensive assets like gold or property, as these assets are also real-world investments. We should not eliminate them to invest in Bitcoin and buy back what we sold later. Perhaps someone may disagree with me, but I am convinced of my opinion that Bitcoin is like other cryptocurrencies. However, it is the safest and should also be invested wisely and at appropriate times and periods.

There is no evidence to support this claim, which they made within less than 40 days of starting their new project, which has a small community.
