21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: August 09, 2018, 08:10:45 PM
Of course it is, every other cryptocurrency around the stage is perspective to have this volatility that bitcooin has, so you basically can have your profit from all the different cryptocurrencies around.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding BTC vs Day trading or short term trading. on: August 09, 2018, 08:10:34 PM
So I have been in crypto for a while now, February precisely, and regrettably I wish I had never dabbled into day trading or short term trading. I have been burnt a lot trying to play the game of trading. Often times I end up buy too high thereby becoming a bagholder, and when I finally sell, it's at a loss.
So I can't help but wish I had just held on to my BTC. Would have been grinning from ear to ear today.  #Lessonlearned
In my opinion to be successful here, you need to be performing all that kind of listed things at once, so what I mean basically it is that you need to hold some coins, you need to day trade, and also invest in some perspective.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: August 07, 2018, 05:40:45 PM
I came to a realization that government had stepped in already in some countries who are accepted and acknowledge cryptocurrency existence. In fact they made a regulations that has made some negative and positve reactions over the implementation of cryptocurrency regulations like doing KYC (Knoy Your Client) on local exchanges, Registering ICO projects to the government agency concerns and etc which purpose is to prevent illegal or abuse in the use of cryptocurrency from money laundering, funding terrorist groups and etc. Well can you say about this regulations, GOOD or BAD?
It depends on the particular country and particular people in the government system that we will see, some governments like Thailand are doing the good regulations on bitcoin and cryptocurrency that leads them to acceptance.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: How to get compensation for Shitcoins at least 0.00004 ETH per one token? on: August 07, 2018, 05:40:23 PM
Oh I am having so many of those, I have approximately 130 different nothing worthy coins on my different wallets, some of them are less than $0.1 it would be so good to sell them all in the Bunch for a few dollars.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: August 06, 2018, 08:38:42 AM
I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
Oh, I can say that this is really specific case and it is not that often, so the HODL strategy is not every time suitable and useful in terms of every coin. It would be better to research about every particular one before investing in long term.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin regaining dominance. on: August 05, 2018, 08:42:23 PM
Apart from reaching a new ATH, bitcoin is also regaining dominance vs other alts. It was halved between March and June and bitcoin has been slowly regaining it but lately seems to have received a boost.

Any ideas about why this is happening?

I'm wondering how those graphics would look like this October which is upcoming of 2018 year, because there are so many things that have changed from the time that you have wrote this article...
27  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: August 05, 2018, 08:42:13 PM
What is bitcoin? This is the first cryptocurrency that Satoshi Nakamoto opened to the world in 2009. And if even before 2011 it was used exclusively by programmers, then later it became available to ordinary users. Over time, more and more users of the Internet began to learn about it and investments in bitcoin only increase every year. There were times when the value of this cryptocurrency did not move from a dead point for a long time, as well as there were sharp UPS and downs.
It is interesting to know how many people have known about bitcoin since 2009 and how long have you been investing in bitcoin?
What percentage of the profits is brought to you by early investments in bitcoin?

I am not the happy guy who would be investing in Bitcoin from the very beginning of it existence, but I can say that I have already made more than I have invested in my entire life, so bitcoin helped me a lot.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: August 04, 2018, 09:09:19 PM
I would say that as a human I prefer to increase my earnings in dollar but something in me is telling that increasing my bitcoin amount would be more beneficial in the future, than increasing my dollar equivalent.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: August 03, 2018, 06:07:52 AM
Hello everyone!

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

If we would refer to 2018 year we cannot imagine who would be the winner of this year because the situation on the market is so rapidly changing, we thought all, that Ethereum would be a dream currency, but for now it is losing positions.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN won't die, period. on: July 31, 2018, 10:48:49 AM
As you can see that BTC is the largest crypto among all in the market, I just really do not understand why people like to claim that BTC is about to die, do not easily fall for these kinds of topics and think that Bitcoin is dying, put some research on it, its just another person's opinion but again it is misleading. One last thing before you reply, this is extremely important and might be a big help for you (especially for newbies) avoid agreeing with such wrong info given to you, be sure to take extra care in replying, and the most important part of all is that you should make some research and do not forget to read the thread (if necessary) it is also important as you can gain new information from other people, though just make sure that what you are reading is very much legitimate.

Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.
Everyone has its own opinion. Some people invest in bitcoin and still are holding it for a better time. But some people want to be rich in a small period of time. It is an unbelievable thing. You always need to lose some time to get money from it.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2018, 10:48:04 AM
People always want to be rich faster that it can be. When you invest into bitcoin new file your own strategy about the time you can wait to get profit. So it's up to everybody what to do sell or hold it.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: July 30, 2018, 11:14:20 AM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.
We only say that or imagine, because for now everybody knows that cryptocurrency is for not ready to replace the existing system, it is too volatile, it is too unstable, it is not trustworthy at the end.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker on: July 29, 2018, 08:40:51 PM
It is very good list and lysis to everyone who use Bitcoin. I've already use only some of them but now I start to use much more. So it is very good information for the newbie  that want invest in Bitcoin.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2018, 08:40:19 PM
Bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency and even if it loses Bitcoin will disappear the market will be alive. But for now, he is really strong and has big potential for the future. The price is going up for now so it can't disappear for real time.

Good to see that you are so positive about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and general, I am also positive because I see the things which are going on, and everything says to me that bitcoin is only at the beginning of its way.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to make bitcoin a popular payment method? on: July 29, 2018, 06:45:20 AM

For something that can become a popular means of payment, you need the following:
Store of value: allowing individuals to make intemporal choices on when to spend their purchasing power
Medium of exchange: facilitating the exchange of goods and services by eliminating the inefficiencies associated with a barter economy
Unit of account: acting as a measure of value in the economic system.
Do you think the bitcoin has all three of these elements? I am looking forward to the bitcoin will become a popular payment method in the future.
The first step to a complaint that would be to make bitcoin more stable than it is right now because with this and stability and volatility that we have today we cannot physically use it as a payment method.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: July 25, 2018, 10:39:24 AM
Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin).
Will the impact be positive or negative?
It would be great as well as Africa improved in their decisions to be positive on blockchain technology. As for me I am waiting for all the world to accept crypto and bitcoin at the first place in that list.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite source of information about cryptocurrency news ? on: July 24, 2018, 02:01:33 PM
What is your favorite source of information about cryptocurrency news and about coins themselves? Do you go to Reddit or read medium articles? How do you filter and get ones that appeal to your investing interests? I find everyone has different ways of learning about crypto and I'd love for people to share with me their own.
To get news updates about cryptocurrencies I usually follow CoinDesk and read this forum. You can also try crypto-news.net. They all are decent sites. Though I also use the forums and reddit to get more information and verify the news.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ATM machine for bitcoin reached kenya on: July 24, 2018, 02:01:20 PM
Bitcoin has now reached in some countries in AFRICA and this is very good to bitcoin users. An ATM machine for bitcoin has been launched in kenya and so lets call bitcoin a long last crypto currency for ever. it will stay.
It is good to know, Bitcoin helped a poor country and I believe that bitcoin can help them to become rich using cryptocurrency. It is based on the knowledge you have and how smart you are.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: July 23, 2018, 08:43:01 PM
From last few days, btc transactions fees has been reduced remarkably. Even its transactions fees are now lower than bitcoin cash. It is really a great news for btc trader i think. How it can help the current market?? Share your logic please .
The news is very unusual from the previous and definitely, the transaction between buying and selling will be long because the cost is too small and that's in my opinion. Maybe in the future, it will change.
