This is a difference between 2014 and 2017 PKs. 2017s have a real first bits under the QR, so the address can be found on blockchain with some effort. But 2014s don't. My has a code "fyPcLJVM" under the QR, but the public address is 1Ped8aWqeKSvhN6AJT8ark5Tfyqw5gQGqK: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5466987.0And AFAIK the address is not under the holo either. I went and looked back and I believe you are correct - my 2014 .5 btc and 2013 1 btc have codes and not first bits. The 2016 1 btc and 2017 .1 btc have first bits.

give me a second i have one with a titan tenth in it and i have a titan tenth not slabbed
oh wait nvm - you want psa slab. i dont have psa slabbed coins. if their coin ones are like the card ones, there are several versions and several weights.
the stands I make for PSA slabbed cards have multiple versions to accommodate different thicknesses of the slabs.

Congrats on completing it! Interested in getting a hardcover one once they see the printing press.
I will get a hardcover and ebook version out as soon as conveniently possible. A colour interior hardcover book will be very expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can sell the book for BTC? All I can suggest is people purchase an Amazon giftcard with BTC, and then purchase the book. 02:52 in the UK now well to sell for BTC you could do so directly - people pay you directly and you ship it. Or you could have someone (like minerjones or even myself - we do this for the collectibles area quite a bit) handle them, receive funds, distribute the funds to you and then reship the book to the buyer.

would love to get one in hardcover - and if possible pay for it direct with Bitcoin. I hate using fiat.

adding one to my book collection

Quite possible, altho I have redeemed one PK .1 BTC myself with no issues about a year or two ago. Thanks I'd forgotten about that thread, time goes so fast I am looking right now at a redeemed PK coin and the first bits are on the hologram. I do know on the 2FA coins that is not the first bits displayed.

Being where he was and still posting regularly while being there, but now has not posted since July 28th on twitter and was last active on forums on June 30th, that it might be entirely possible something happened to him.
There was a guy who was murdered and robbed of approx 3 Bitcoin on July 29th. Does anyone have communication with mrcrypthodl after that time frame?
I do. I reached out to him as soon as that happend and he confirmed it wasn't him and nobody there knows he has anything to do with bitcoin. in his words. but yes, I had the same thought. That was the last communication I had with him tho. on July 30th via X Based on all the information and owed sats, I cannot in good faith leave my positive trust for 1hodlclub. IF he ever pays up the people who he owes money, then trust will be changed. I personally have .021 btc worth of funded 1hodlclub items. Not alot, but some. I am not peeling as I still have trust in his keys as I have little reason not to. NFA, just saying for me personally what I am doing. Some people may feel differently and the peel value is alot. Everyone has to make their own decision based on their on tolerance for risk. ok so that guy wasnt him - good that it wasnt but then bad that he is not responding to anyone else or posting anywhere. with the violence happening over there, very well still could have been hurt/injured or killed.

as tempting as that is, I dont think I would want to share any private keys to any coins I have peeled - not openly at least.
understandable, thats why I posted "members who feel comfortable." but also who's to say that you peeled them? no one really knows. and just for educational purposes: Mopar, is there any added exposure between sharing a used private key from a coin compared to a used set of firstbits on a coin? ( I do not know the answer to this question, you would know better then me) Mopar, by well known coins are you talking specifically Casascius and BTCC? I don’t think people are worried about those makers as much as the other guys. Also, I don’t think the full keys are necessary for this purpose. Mainly just to see sample font to determine if it is intelligible. Could potentially blotout the majority. RS, great idea! Correct me if I’m wrong. I’ll add $40 to pot. Edit: pot contributions dependent on more than 10 total submissions collectively or any coin that was sold here on the forums where the buyer can be identified as buying "#10 of 21 with address: xxxxxxx" then that private key shown here can be linked to that address and thus that buyer. Either way, I am certain someone will do it for the bounty. The only coins I have peeled, I did so openly anyways - 20 or so mrcryptohodl coins which had a 20% error/issue rate (all were remedied) and the yogg cards. everything else that I have peeled has been to assist others.

( I do not know the answer to this question, you would know better then me) a lot more can be done with a PK than a public address. with private keys, someone could sign from an address and if that address is publicly known to belong to a coin and said coin was and is provable as bought by a specific forum user or individual - then someone could attempt to pretend to be said user/individual. should you accept a signature from a collectible as being someone? no - but if it is a well known coin, someone might get tempted to do so.
