22  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big old correction going on... on: June 27, 2017, 08:34:47 PM
Noone can predict exact dip and tops. IMO you need to watch price action closely for better observation. Correction is also part of uptrend and never sell before hitting top second time in same year Wink
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: June 27, 2017, 02:38:04 PM
It doesnt matter whether you use cash or digital coins with proper money management rules. You need to set up your gambling plan including money management.
24  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: June 27, 2017, 02:28:06 PM
Both trading and gambling have their pro and cons. You need skill to have good ROI over the given period of time in trading. But gamblers only need luck and good money management.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening ? = all coins down by 20 to 35 % on: June 27, 2017, 02:02:35 PM
There's nothing to panic. It has happened in the past too and everything will be normal very soon. I'm holding a few coins which are in red but I'm not going to sell them in loss and that's my advice to everyone don't sell what you holding in loss. Yes it's a good opportunity to buy.
Yes, don't get panic it is common in cryptocurrency last time also it drop $2000 and came back in one day at $2500. So don't do panic selling you will get the loss. Actually, those who have experience in bitcoin trading and those who used in Bitcoin since last few months they can understand this situation. Only the newbies don't experience this situation.
Well, not anyone want sell altcoins they have with cheap price, but if you are a Margin Trader, you will very scared when Margin Call and your Balance can sold all anytime. And I'm one of them Cry

Never fall this trap.. Smart trader should know exact time or price for  exit and enter orders. Prices will decrease more with panic selling but cheap prices mean good opportunity to buy altcoins.

I already forecasted this big downtrend for altcoins. There is a reason behind this global crypto downtrend. Investors are looking for cheap pirces to boost ROI  and corrections are best opportunity for this purpose.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 27, 2017, 08:29:32 AM
IMO  this ICO  will be successful. I already invested and hope for best  Smiley . Current bitcoin price is going down and this factor also helped to boost required amount for ICO.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 on: June 27, 2017, 06:58:59 AM
No this summer Smiley Global crypto bear trend will continue till september. Maybe we can see uptrend waves after summer. I already sold half of my investings + savings in bitcoin anticipating low prices.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is on August 1, 2017? on: June 26, 2017, 04:54:54 AM
We will see panic selling before August. That's why traders are looking for cheaper price for better liquidity. As investor i hold my bitcoins no matter what happens.  Everything will be ok at the end Wink
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: June 26, 2017, 04:49:03 AM
Enemies of gambling:
Greed, Fear and Hope

Gamblers have to control emotions to avoid losing control in difficult situations .You should have set withdrawal limit after every winning streak.Whenever you withdraw that amount from site  turn off pc and go away.

32  Economy / Speculation / Re: any chance bitcoin to rise up to $5000 this year or a fatal crash? on: June 24, 2017, 06:00:05 AM
It is not going to happen before 2018. Let's be realistic, bitcoin prices already raised about 140% this year and more likely will hit 3500$ till november.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10K at the end of 2017? on: June 23, 2017, 05:31:48 AM
It will hit but not before 2018 Wink Just buy and hold for "holy bump"..
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: June 23, 2017, 05:29:05 AM
With buying low and selling high you can increase ROI. But never use leverage for volatile markets.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: June 22, 2017, 05:52:41 AM
I am waiting for 10000 btc/usd price. This isnt going to happen before 2018..
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it worth buying bitcoins now? (2000$ /btc) on: June 21, 2017, 05:09:12 AM
Just buy and hold Wink
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could btc hit 1 usd? on: June 19, 2017, 05:22:54 AM
Is it possible? I can't say no to that since we're talking about crypto currency. But is it likely such a thing will happen? No not at all. There is too many interest in bitcoin right now for that to happen. But we're never 100%.

Did you ever face with questions about "is bitcoin bubble?" ?  Wink

Currently we are in correction "mood"..Remember, this rollercoaster ride is just getting started. So there’s no reason not to be buying now. Wink
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: May 29, 2017, 01:26:09 AM
Just switched OS's and put this coin on a CentOS Linux machine. Cent seems to come with a pretty restrictive firewall out of the box. What ports do I need to both forward from my router and open on the CentOS firewall to make the coin get more than 8 connections ?

Like with BTC I had to open / forward port 8333, Ty.

You need this port : 22556.
If for some reason nothing happens most likely your computer doesn't have any public IP so you could try to forward connections, can read more about it here : https://portforward.com

To be honest, never used Centos so can't really help you there.
Thought so. My dumb ass had it right but forgot to enable the svc in the firewall for the port lol.

Litecoin uses port 9333.

You may also want to add the following to your litecoin.conf, using 30 as an example but you can use whatever number you prefer:
Code:
maxconnections=30
Thought so. My dumb ass had it right but forgot to enable the svc in the firewall for the port lol. As for max cons, thx but I generally leave that as a non restriction. Got decent ISP that doesn't really throttle. Last I looked think I had about 12 cons Wink
