Think I go it, uncheck the API box.

That said, since I have S3's do I check S1 or S2 until you add S3 ?

Yes, uncheck the API box. Smiley

It behaves just like an S1, just faster.

M

When I add the miner and hit refresh, I get a .net popup about an unhandled exception.

This is just part of it...

It doesn't like something about your list of Ants to check.  Does at least one of them have the checkbox checked?

M
Nope, all unchecked. Like I said, they're all hosted away from me about 5hrs with I{'s like this...

1.2.3.4:5676 <-- S30001
1.2.3.4:5677 <-- S30002
1.2.3.4:5678 <-- S30003
1.2.3.4:5679 <-- S30004

Do I need to do anything on the web UI side of things ?

Unchecked ones are skipped.  Checked ones are the ones it tries to monitor.  See what happens when you check them?

M
I misread in haste, bu all are checked, I was thinking of the API uncheck.

Can you post a screenshot of your config?

M
Specifically which page ?

1024  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: August 10, 2014, 12:42:27 PM
Ok, so I've settled on a used laptop I can use for an online system.

This should be more than ok, right ?

1.6Ghz CPU, 3gb of RAM running vista, hard drive will be at least 180GB.

Yes ram isn't used much anymore

Cpu will take days to process both Bitcoin and armory though. Just leave it for a week.
I know, I did that when I ran just core of this laptop using an external HDD. Foret what the CPU is on this system though, but it's bogged down with a shit ton of stuff and the "new" laptop will be core / armor only with MBAM and Norton.

Anything else I should consider or would MBAM and Norton (when I get a new license) be enough ?

Edit: Last I asked, someone said I should install core, install armory let both build at the same time where I considered install core, build core, install armory, build armory.

Only if it's dual core. It's good be right?
Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467

Not sure on stock mem but it came used on eBay with 3Gb and no HD, battery or charger. I have everything I need minus the HDD caddy and HDD but all I can tell you is 1.6Ghz w/ 3Gb of memory.

Just so were on same page, I'm talking about the laptop I just got for my online only system. Not the one I'm using now since I mentioned both.

Edit: You asking about dual core because of the mbam, norton and what else I should consider query ?

Says dual core. By build do you mean compile? Or process blockchain. Either way you should be great doing it at the same time. Why not get another for offline signing?

Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 / 1.6 GHz
I plan on it, just dont have the extra funds right now. I mean I tech in BTC but I kinda just want to experiment with online right now.

I currently do all my trans off the BC android app.

What I meant was the DL of the chain, I debated doing one then the other or both at he same time as suggested by others where they said install core, then armor, run armory and let armory handle both at the same time.

1028  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: So what kind of hardware are you currently running ? on: August 10, 2014, 11:49:34 AM
I don't recall if I mentioned this but I just recently added four S3's to my collection so now I'm running 9 things at almost 5Th/s.

Nice, you must have a really good cooling system going on? Air Con?
Hosted at a friend of mines business who run a bunch of server stuff. So can't say for sure but temps on everything stay around low 40c.

S3-1: 42
S3-2: 43
S3-3: 43
S3-4: 43

Prospector200: 53 <-- This ones actually at his house in the basement, he had to take it home a few weeks back to work on it.

Dragon-1: No Temp Lead
Dragon-2: No Temp Lead
Dragon-3: No Temp Lead

Then the 9th device is an rPi at my place I play with for fun.

Once I get him to allow port 22 I can OC my S3's to try and get ~500 each. I got lucky with mine and go four units hashing ~440 on stock freq, so they should OC ok.

If I can OC each one to ~500, I'll gain around 240 additional Gh/s all while still paying him he same amount which is $1 per 50w.So basially for the 1Th Dragons @ 1k watts he gets $20 a month per Dragon while averaging $460 a month per Dragon.

1030  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 10, 2014, 09:15:22 AM
I know you said the 11th, but I was wondering if you might allow my 0.3 request 1 day early.

I'm not in any big hurry other than the fact that I'd like to get a jump on Monday morning processing for coinbase. So soon as I mine the other 0.07 I need here over the next couple of hrs and with the loan I can start the coinbase to fiat deposit.

What this all boils down to is me needing to get that $425 back in the bank that I spent on the 0.7 I needed to get those four S3's your last loan helped with.
1031  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 10, 2014, 09:03:48 AM
This may have been asked somewhere else, but how can I order 3 S3's and use my three remaining coupons on the one order? Or can I only use one coupon per order of 2 miners?

You can use 1 coupon per miner, so if you order 2 you can use 2 coupons..

Can use 2 coupons per order.
Technically yes per allcoins reply since one order contains two miners given the current MOQ.
1032  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitShop - digital bitcoin shop script [PHP/MYSQL] (v1.0.0) on: August 10, 2014, 09:02:34 AM
BitShop v1.0.1 released. Contains a few small bug fixes and improvements and several important fixes related to the coinbase API code. If you are using the coinbase API for processing transactions it's highly recommended to update to this version.
Whats the improvement changelog ;-p

I'm guessing this is not normal?

Seems like you overclocked the miner. right? or you applied a non standard DC input?
A change of that capacitor will fix your issue. Those resistors are damaged of not?
If overclocking did that, I'm not sure I want to try and OC mine now. I am one of a lucky few that got four miners that work stable at 440Gh/s on sock freq 218.75.

With this hardware, overclocking id risky.
But the question at hand is did you OC and get that damage from it and if so, what freq was it on and what did you jump to from it ?

There's been plenty of people OC here and none I have seen reported these kinds of issues.

No I didn't do an overclock. But your symptoms as per the images force me to think like that.
I used to overclock my gpus long back and got into this kind of isues.
I usually get this kind of a thing when voltage of the chip(s) increased.
Wonder what the hell happened then.

I may still try to OC mine, stat with one, let it go for a few hrs then another etc.

I'm hoping I can do 250 to get to ~500, I might get lucky with that since I got four S3 that has stable at stock around 440. People seem to have issues with OC'ing on units that dont do 440 at stock.

Excuse me if I don't want to read through 26 pages, but... can this be used for Ant's outside the home ?

I have four S3's hosted about 5hrs from me and I usually just leave a browser tab open for each one but this program intrigues me.

All of my S3's have an IP like this, all using the same PW.

1.2.3.4:5676
1.2.3.4:5677
1.2.3.4:5678
1.2.3.4:5679

If you use the Web based screen scraping, as opposed to the API, there's a good chance it'll work for you.

M
And I just magically went blonde and started to twiddle my hair.
