Bump.
642  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitShop - digital bitcoin shop script [PHP/MYSQL] (v1.0.1) on: November 09, 2014, 01:11:39 AM
So here we are 48hrs later and the unconfirmed item is still in the DB. SO ya, not sure what's goin on where with the various weird things.

I know I have made some custom edits but it's all been cosmetic visuals.

I guess this is where the weirdness ends...

1) Seems the store doesn't want to work right in IE9 as noted in my previous reply but seems to work ok in Chrome, havent tested other browsers but probably should to see if I at least get to the CB payment page.

2) Unconfirmed don't delete after the set time in the config area which for me is 48hrs.

3) Not sure if this counts but after following the upgrade instructions for 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 doesnt seem to change the version number, don't recall if that was ever automatic or manual.

4) The database thing noted in the last reply when trying to remove an item.

You said "i sill host almost anything" and yet you are looking for something you like. So what it is that you like?
A campaign I like is all that meant.
644  Economy / Services / Re: Renting out my signature space... advertise in my sig ! on: November 07, 2014, 05:46:34 PM
I've looked at the different campaigns but figured I'd try something different.

As for an actual campaign, it's more of a matter of finding something I like. I was with PrimeDice but they stopped that campaign. There is talks of bringing it back in one form or another which I will be going back to when and if there's a firm announcement on that. Just figured in the meantime I would try to see what I can dig up with this thread, if anything.
645  Economy / Services / Renting out my signature space... advertise in my sig ! on: November 07, 2014, 08:03:11 AM
Renting out my signature space to the left of my coin addresses.

Fees negotiated must be paid in advance for each term, this protects me to make sure I'm not doing this for nothing. You may also buy more than one term, but here's where it gets interesting. Each additional term is by the week to make it easy on some folks wallets.

What this means is this...

Your initial term will be for 30 days, should you wish to go say an extra two weeks your total term time would be for 44 days. This way people who want to go more than one term at a time can since each initial term is 30 days with additional stacked terms being weekly terms if that makes sense.

Ex.

Iintial term: 30 days.
Additional terms: 3 x 7 days each.

Total term time: 51 days.

Each new contract requires an intial term time of 30 days. So once your contract closes, if you dont add more terms at 7 days each before your contract expires, you must start all over again with the intial 30 day term.

Now as to the content I will advertise... I will advertise almost anything, I do have my limits though which can be discussed via PM when negotiating fees.

So with that said we can discuss everything via PM so if interested in renting my sig space. Please by all means shoot me a message if your interested, Ty.

I can offer $2 a piece for each block eruptor shipped in the US.  Let me know, thanks!
Sold all of the 335Mh/s BE's to DebitMe.

Anything not stricken out in the main post is still available, Ty.
647  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [13000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: November 07, 2014, 06:41:40 AM
Just going to go on record saying that if you actually fall for a phishing email claiming to be an INVOICE PAYMENT from BTC Guild, turn off your computer, and put it in a garbage bin.  You're not sophisticated enough to use the modern technology, let alone Bitcoin.

EDIT:  Posted this because I just got a copy of the email in my inbox for my old address used for Bitstamp.
Wonder how many feelings that'll hurt lol
648  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [13000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: November 07, 2014, 02:39:43 AM
Got an email from an, info@btcguild.com with a subject of, "invoice".  I assume this is a phishing email trying to get you to open the attachment, DON"T OPEN IT if you get an email like this.

I am sure Eleuthria can comment further, just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention.
I've never gotten emails like this but they've all always been phishin from what Eleu's said.
649  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Selling the following items for BTC- Will do Escrow if requested ! on: November 06, 2014, 11:28:03 PM
How much for all of them together? With shipping to Australia.

Note: I haven't read through the thread, but I think some of my questions have already been answered.
Sending you PM.

I know this offer will be ridiculous however, its the only "worth" solution.

On Cex.io 1Gh/s is being sold for 0.002 BTC. (There are other sites that sell it for cheaper, but they're dodgy)

The total hashing power of 15 USB block erupters is 5 Gh/s

Which is equal to 0.01 BTC.
I'll offer 0.015 BTC to sweeten it a little bit.

I'll also pay for shipping but this is the most I will offer.

It simply isn't profitable anymore to mine, especially with usb block eruptors.

I'm sorry.

I would like to see 0.02 for all 15 335Mh/s sticks if possible, so an extra 0.005.

I also added a fourth item since I forgot to when I edited the main post last time. Added three Antminer U2's @ 1.9Gh/s per using BFGMiner with stock settings.

Also, what about the LCD and hub ? I sent you a PM on them.
650  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitShop - digital bitcoin shop script [PHP/MYSQL] (v1.0.1) on: November 06, 2014, 10:42:38 PM
How do I know if I am on 1.0.0 final or one of the release candidates ?

spend-ur-bits.com

Edit: Think I'm on final so I'll just use the 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 upgrade.

Edit 2: So I did the 1.0.0 upgrade to 1.0.1 and files replaced ok but even before the upgrade I noticed some weirdness. In IE 9 even after entering the security code the popup to please enter it keeps coming up. Seems ok in Chrome Version 38.0.2125.111 m.

When tring to delete an item from admin I keep getting this, regardless of browser...

Quote
We have a problem...

The application encountered a fatal database error.

Error Code:

Error Message:

MySQL Query:

  DELETE FROM Products

  WHERE FileID = 15
Please contact the webmaster if the problem persists.

Click here to go back to the home page.

Again, the above two issues were / are present before and after upgrade.

Also noticed the version still shows as 1.0.0 after replacing the files from the 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 "instructions". One other thing I noticed some time back and just never reported because I forgot was I have unconfirmed set to delete after 48hrs but after a week items were still present. I have since, some time back, manually removed them but just made a item tonight around 6pm my time so basically this time on the 8th it will either be gone or still be present.

So ya, that's my dealings for the day with the shop on my site.

Ty.

Looks like the title changed again, did have [Closing] in it.

At least for now, the site will remain fully operational.  It will likely be sold and transferred to a new owner.  I will likely continue to be involved in some capacity after the acquisition.

If negotiations fall through, there will be a new closure notice which will reset the 3-months notice [the previous notice is void].
So, just so it can be said.

We're now in what I suppose would otherwise be a holding pattern where a new 3 month (1 month to mine, 2 months to collect) notice will be issued if and when it is needed ?

FWIW, if someone opts to buy the pool.

This may be a stupid question but one that needs to be asked.

Will you be doing any sort of "checks" on whoever buys the pool if at all. Or will be just be a here you go ty for your payment kind of deal as if someone just stepped in line at a store to buy a can of soda ?
655  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling: Bitmain S3+ coupons... on: October 27, 2014, 11:18:28 PM
Ps; To clarify, the coupons value is 0.035, that's not what they will be sold for lol.

I realize my original post might sound liek that's what I'm trying to get rid of em for.

Like I said, I don't expect them to go for much but still worth a shot so PM me if interested, Ty.
656  Economy / Digital goods / Selling: Bitmain S3+ coupons. on: October 27, 2014, 05:31:39 PM
I got some S3+ coupons if anyone's interested.

Don't expect em to go for a lot but each one is for 0.035 BTC.

Don't expect em to go for a lot but each coupon value is 0.035 BTC.

The 0.035 is not what they're being sold for just to be clear. My original post may have cause some confusion about that to which I am sorry for.

PM if interested, also please be sure to check out my TR "Trust Rating", Ty.
657  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: October 25, 2014, 10:57:17 AM
Dang, so I take it if a fixed rate deal does come back it'll only be open to Seniors?
Discussing ideas is one thing bet lets not speculate too much, all it usually ends up doing is causing headaches and arguments, Stunna will say what's what if and when he reopens the campaign in one form or another.
658  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: October 23, 2014, 05:48:23 PM
i hope that stunna will re-open this signature campaign asap and (maybe, but i don't think so) give some slot to member  Smiley
U must have just upgraded because your Jr. Member now. Regardless of what Stunna does if anything I'm sure he will make it fair for all with maybe keeping newbs out or something.
659  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: October 23, 2014, 04:11:47 PM
It amazes me how concerned people get over these campaigns! At the end of the day we get mere pocket change for doing something we are supposed to be doing for free. I join these myself for the free coins, but I wouldn't be upset if signature campaigns were banned since it creates spam. PD had a great campaign, but the spam was ridiculous.

Its like people who do nothing feel they are entitled to be paid to do said nothing. If they don't get paid, they get upset, WHY won't you pay me?! Its quite amusing.

Realize this people,
the 10s of BTC paid out by Stunna each month were not a +EV marketing investment. Maybe first couple months yes, but hes a businessman, you all are greedy multi-accounters and thus he can't afford it anymore so he canceled it. Glad he did. Was tired of the spammers.

In all honesty if it comes back great and if not I keep my sig the way it is. I'm not overly concerned one way other the other. I was just trying to say if it does come back that I would like to maybe see a fixed rate as well. Either way I'm happy with the way things are now pocket change or not.
660  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: October 23, 2014, 01:49:55 PM
You need to imply strict participation rules i.e. no members under Hero rank at least. Then you should check each individual once they applied.

Lol. If I'm not mistaken I seem to recall you saying the exact same thing before but about Seniors, but now you've changed it to - surprise surprise - Heroes because you are one. If they were only to include Hero Members then they would hardly have any participants.
Obviously I grow over time what does that have to do with anything.
The only reason that I did not say Legendary member/staff status as there are only a limited number of those. PD is too old and too good for seniors to be allowed in it.
Keep in mind that Stunna did not listen to me in time, nor did other campaign owners. What was the result? A ton of spam. So I was right.

Most of the suggestions yes do seem over complicated. I rather like the original idea with the addition of what I suggested.
Here's an example:
Quote
As for payment structure I might suggest, say a flat rate of .05 for the first 50 posts, then an additional .02375 for at least 75 posts total, then an additional .045 for at least 125 posts total, then an additional .0008 for each post above 125 posts. This would give users a disincentive to spam as they get a less amount on a per post basis after each threshold is met.
It seems to me like people are trying to act smart, rather than suggesting something that actually makes any sense for the campaign.

I'm not trying to act smart, I merely suggested an additional option that Stunna could still control quite well.

Edit: Forgetting Stunnas idea for a minute, mine makes sense and saves him BTC since lets say there was a set fee of 0.15 or 0.2. Well, under Stunnas idea if implemented, someone who somehow actually makes lets say 600 constructive posts would take him for  0.36 BTC.
