21  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 18, 2020, 09:13:38 PM
I got an email from the OP about an interview. Surprised and happy. Surprised, because I still have less contributions to this forum. However, what's the harm in trying? Smiley. Here are the answers from questions emailed by OP. My apologize in advance if there are sentences/words that are not pleasing you. Thank you. Happy reading, hope you guys not bored. Smiley

1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
I know cryptocurrencies around June 2017. When one of my closest friends asked for my help to accompany him to local customs office, to pick up his miners. If i'm not mistaken, that miner is S9. Along the way to local custom office, he talked a lot about cryptocurrencies (bitcoin) and it prospects. What you need to remember, he is only talking about cryptocurrencies, not about the ecosystem or the technology.

This made me interested, so I asked him, about other than bitcoin, which coins have good prospects. And he said LTC and Dash are the best alternatives beside bitcoin. And right away i decided to buy a D3 and L3 + miner. I made the purchase based on mere speculation without doing any research. I placed an order in July 2017 (with his help). I received both machines in December 2017. And as you know, the decision i made at that time was the worst decision i have ever made. Grin Grin Grin

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
I first own bitcoin in January 2018. I earned it by converting Dash and LTC to bitcoin. Exchanges i used at that time was Indodax (the largest crypto market in our country).

3. How did you get on the forum?
I know this forum through googling (Even my closest friends that i mentioned above didn't know that there was such a forum!). I got to know bitcointalk after i felt that the mining profit was not same as promised (read whattomine calculation). Mining profits are getting smaller, while production costs (electricity costs and others) remain same. So I did googling in order to find out the factors that influence crypto mining and ended in this forum. It happens around end of feb 2018. At that time, i was not rush to register, coz tbh i'm not kind of forum boys. But finally, i registered coz of one reason. If you want to ask in this forum, then you must register first.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
What is preventing the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
I think mass adoption cannot be prevented. I'm more inclined towards this question: "what are the barriers to mass adoption of cryptocurrencies".

So many factors are hindering the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. One of them may be nation currency privileges. As you know, every country has its own currency. And this currency has its own characteristics (due to its history) that cannot be replaced by other currencies. Currency for me is one of the national identities. If the whole world has the same currency, then for me, there is no special identity that a country has. And in the end, people will tend to forget the history of their nation.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
There is nothing wrong with gambling. And gambling ads will not break or harmed this forum. Because of what? This forum has its own segment. Most members of this forum already know the negative effects of gambling. And the rules on this forum are very clear. Comments about gambling is allowed on this board, while on other boards it is not allowed. All rules are clearly mentioned.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
Needs are always changing. Market is always changing. Market trends will also change. An investor must adapt to those changes. However, basis for investing is always same. DYOR.
Special education is only needed for people/investors who are new to crypto. Of course you still remember the @elpresedente twitter account right? @elpresedente and ChainLink token  Grin

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
Merit system is good. It's kind the "like" feature on facebook and twitter or reddit. It shows appreciation. Imo, Which is good. About merit current system. Idk, I see nothing wrong with current merit system. Same as signature campaigns. I see nothing wrong with it. Mostly member in here are grown man/woman. And forum rules are clearly. As long forum rules obeyed, this forum is still a good forum.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
All sticky pinned thread are good and helpful. But most new members are lazy to read it. Always create thread and asking same questions.
Helpful members? A lots! depends on the board you choose.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
Dislike button (for nonsense comments/thread), Ease of changing account names (such as a feature on Twitter that allows name changes at least every 6 months) but with the same member id. Let me think the othe one Smiley.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
Yes, i did trade in exchange. And did invest in some projects.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
Big Losses : Buying miners witth less knowledge only depends on specualtion
Big Profit : Knowledge that i get from this forum.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
Why mention Defi as a special concern? Didn't defi already exist in our daily life? Banking, savings and loans are common things in our daily life. People may be amazed about Defi coz of one thing. The token price. The Defi ecosystem in crypto is not much different from the financial ecosystem in our daily lives.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
Anonymity for me act as a precaution. And it is vital now.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
"How to Defi book". I got it free from coingecko Smiley

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
For me. AlphaFinance, DOT and ETH.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
Price prediction yeah? I'm not good with this kind of prediction. But for sure i stated that bitcoin will never touch $1K again.

15. P.S. (Optional)
This question is for you @zasad@ :
What methodology did you use when selecting sources for your interviews?

22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my btc price predictions problem here on: October 18, 2020, 07:44:04 PM

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes .. jezzzzz.

23  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Kumpulan Biaya Trading Market Indonesia on: October 18, 2020, 07:38:36 PM

-snip-
Pengalaman agan hampir sama. Saya pernah narik sekitar Rp. 182 rb-an dari triv ke rekening bca kemudian dibuat beli voucher steam di gojek (sekitar agustus-september kemarin), nggak ada masalah. Lanjay aja.

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 18, 2020, 07:27:27 PM
Uhmm.. let me share mine.
First time following pre-sale (although not private sale) is in Alpha Finance through Binance launchpad. Before i decide to participate in binance launchpad for that project, yes, i did some DYOR mf mine, Which are :
1. Team behind the project. (Must gave clear information)
2. Whitepaper (are whitepaper written well, no plagiarism nor anything)
3. Roadmap.
4. Funds allocation (during softcap, hardcap)
5. Project Uniqueness (What makes this project different from other projects)
6. Risk Management (Always invest with money you can afford to lose)

Those 6 steps usually applied even when i decide to invest in other project (old or new project).

And about "medicalveda". I tend to agree with this comment :
read all comments by clciking quote link.. very nice comments
Afaik, 90% projects that mentioned about health or housing as their main purpose or 3D printing.. usually ended as useless project. Dont forget, Health is expensive business.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar CEO to Take Part in Conference Hosted by IMF on: October 18, 2020, 07:11:35 PM
Same question for ripple. As you guys know, There's so many good progress and news about ripple. But why ripple price is still cheap?
i think you guys know the answer. Its all about jed mccaleb. Although those 2 coin network are good for payment system. Still, they need extra effort to bring back more investors trust and confidence.

26  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All Exchangers scamming now on: October 18, 2020, 07:04:31 PM
To OP. Are you losing in trade mate? Arbitrate trading perhaps?
Not all exchanges are scam if you did trade wisely. As mentioned of most members (throught their comments) in your thread. Which exchanges did you accused? And, isn't this "slow" is a common things? Afaik, all exchanges have "slow" support reply (especially larger exchanges) right?

27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All most 75 exchanges and tradings have been dead in 2020 on: October 18, 2020, 06:48:22 PM
strange thing when i found hotbit mentioned as scam exchange. I have an account at there. But purpose is only to buy Nexo (since binance or bittrex nor poloniex still not listed this coin).
First time register in their exchanges was on August 2020 if i'm not wrong. Till now i have no issues regarding deposit (BTC & TRX) or withdraw nexo. Although, yes, their withdrawal fees are high (for me).
Register in hotbit coz coingecko give "decent score" for that exchanges.

28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my btc price predictions problem here on: October 18, 2020, 05:55:40 PM
Are you still drunk bro? Afaik, whales can't do trade. They only can swim and and give birth.
If you whales refer to Whales trader. Why they must use your analysis? ...
Roll Eyes Roll Eyes C'mon. Year 2020 almost ended. Don't too much drunk please.

29  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBit.com - Betting, Bitcoin Sportsbook, Casino web-site| ONLINE SPORTS BETTING! on: October 18, 2020, 05:49:11 PM

If you notice all the situation about 1xbit, you want say that it is unfortunate to see 1xbit is not listed on BTCGOSU.
-snip-
Well.. i thought 1xbit is legit gambling provider. Since they boost ads in many sites.
But since i noticed the red-trust they have in their account and checking the accusation thread, well.. yeap.. i believe btcgosu will reject them.

31  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ⍰ [Asking] Is there any forex robot (EA) with monthly or annum subscription? on: October 18, 2020, 05:24:38 PM
Update for October.
- testing more bugs (sometimes bot is late in making entries when there is a moment).
- adjustments setup, especially pip calculations for entry and exit positions. Adding more calculation based on donchian channel.
- Adding support and resistance calculation based on algorithm, so it is expected that when the bot do entry and exits the position, the calculations used accordance to established algorithm. The goal is to maximize profits and minimize losses.

And no, we not creating token nor project to build this bot. We only provide services, Subscription fess are in fiat and crypto currency.
Till now, i still can't find monthly/annual subscription for EA forex (meanwhile there's plenty EA services for crypto market that provide monthly/anuual subscription).

1xbit pays higher advertising to get top rating.
Yeap, for sure. Their ad budget is very large i think, I mainly see their ad on coingecko (although now it's no longer there).
One more thing i questioned. Why is 1xbit not listed on the provably-fair list in this services: https://www.btcgosu.com/tools/provably-fair-verifier/
Meanwhile, roobet, one-hash and bc are listed on that site. It's surprising and really very unfortunate if their service is not on the list (idk if this related with red-trust they have for their official account in here).

What kind of update you will applied to keno? I am very curious.
And suggestion. For Gem Saviour Sword. Could you change the character and theme? I meant, perhaps you guys can publish new character and theme, instead of the old character (that sitting hero guy). Perhaps you guys can change to pirate theme. i really like that game tbh.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese central bank to airdrop 10 million digital yuan on: October 11, 2020, 06:39:30 PM

No worries. Me (as President Trump) and our college in EU will create more powerful stablecoin in earth rather than that weak digital yuan.

To create that powerful stablecoin, we will design it more carefully and meticulously using our latest technology. No RUSH needed.

36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: source of financial funds (please help me) on: October 11, 2020, 06:27:06 PM
~ company is withholding your cryptocurrencies.
~Also provide them your tx id where you send your Bitcoin in as well as the email exchange you have with their customer support.
Uhmm.. i think you misleading. It is not about "company is withholding cryptocurrencies" only, it is about "source" where he got the bitcoins from. Just suggestion, perhaps you can read the entire story as written in thread more clearly (especially about the exchanges).

37  Economy / Reputation / Re: Intrader false accusations and wrong use of trust on: October 11, 2020, 06:20:18 PM
Hey. Just to updated you. Link to plagiarist comments is still not saved yet by web archive.

Perhaps you can edit your plagiarism report  using loyce and suchmoon scraped data?. Would love if mod can ban that plagiarist sooner. And for sure it is much better for indonesian board also.

Well.. that built-in mixer for sure is one of big trouble to follow your money flow.
Yeah.. they charged you back is still possible. Perhaps your first deposit in your rahakott wallet could be useful.

Man, I think this could be a very serious problem for you in the future. I hope you have prepared for that kind situation.
All the best for you,

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese central bank to airdrop 10 million digital yuan on: October 11, 2020, 05:27:26 PM
Small corrections. Chinese is related with language, culture or people (as mentioned in google translate). When you talk about central bank, means china central bank.

China is always way step a head when to applied every national program that they were made. It is no wonder why since last week chinese flood US stocks market as mentioned in here : https://www.scmp.com/news/china/article/3104603/chinese-firms-flood-us-markets-capital-ahead-moves-tighten-regulations

I think that "floods" is one of their strategies to make their new digital yuan that they launched recently more easily accepted by their citizens. Some people said that this strategy is one of method to "short" $.
My question is, can this new digital yuan coin soar in price? or is it the same as USDT/DAI where 1 USDT/DAI = 1$

Can't wait what kind of "war" that could be happens when these 2 nations heard about this new digital yuan has been launched :

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "5 Things About ________" Project on: October 11, 2020, 05:10:45 PM
If not bothered you. Why not create your first video and share your video in here. I think all above comments are representing the 5 things that investors think. After you share your video in here (can be as YT link, or other video platform), then you can ask some suggestion from member in here. I think that step will help you to create more nice and "bite" videos.
