The said incident must be attributable to the IP change as we recently blocked some countries with voluminous malicious activity.

You need to do the calculations for your own circumstances, but it is wrong to say it is a waste. Secondly, it is just simply incorrect to suggest that it will in any way spoil your computer. Processors are designed to do this and manufactured to standards that mean they would last for many years running at 100% utilization, long after they are made obsolete. Mining is a resource hungry process and it will peak your processors all the time and that will affect the system on the long run and can damage your system,i can bet that the processor wont last one year if you are trying to mine using your laptop,you must take that into consideration when you are planning to mine and the amount of money you spend for electricity before calculating your overall profit. |

Should give you a few satoshi. Now the amount given should depend on btc price, so it may have lowered these days. Two weeks ago with 1 million hashes I got around 200 satoshi.
