21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / I have a stuck transaction in BTC, what should I do? on: January 07, 2021, 10:28:00 PM
This is the transaction:

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/ce347a3fce4c3ec3f7e80a86d48454ecd04b24c9f8f32eff7881179be8480dc9

Someone has tried to send me: 0.00025841 BTC
and the fee they used was: 0.00011074 BTC

At the current network activity it just isn't moving - the fee is about £3.50 and the amount sent is $14.00

I've already tried using the BTC accelerators to no avail. They are a BTC newbie and didn't know about the fee implications. The paid for accelerators are asking for $60 (or more) to move this transaction.

What else can I do to get this transaction moving? What are my options?

Many thanks!
22  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] Bitcoin [W] 115% apple pay applepay on: June 02, 2020, 01:39:02 AM
Why the 15% premium? How do you justify that?

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Need Bitcoin, If Altcoins Transfers Are Faster And Cheaper on: January 14, 2020, 10:48:26 PM
Really Bitcoin transfers are expensive and lower speed, therefore altcoins are much easy to transfer. For small transfer amounts Bitcoin is not usable.

When robots gain our ability after a few years, humans who created them will not be needed too. While creating the robot is so easy, creating people is not as easy as Victor Frankenstein does. Think of BTC as this slower and over spending people. Would you like to kill yourself? Build everything from the beginning but those created through you, want to eliminate your dominance.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 14, 2020, 10:06:42 PM
Obviously, the value with satoshi should be superior. But that may also change depending on situation. e.g If you need BTC in USD after the last trade, the USD may be superior. However, the value of altcoins with BTC is more important since I am mostly engaged in short term trade. So, the value of BTC is volatile against USD. And at the time of trading, 1BTC=1BTC, which is a fixed value to measure the profit or loss. Besides, you can also replace BTC with stablecoins, but the results will be different in this case.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Blame Bitcoin, No Government Want To Make Its Citizen Millionaire on: January 14, 2020, 09:44:11 PM
I hate this, even programmers are forced to work in less budget. When dollars and other currencies are free to be printed and their value will not be reduced even if they are printed a lot more, then which ant is enforcing and stopping the governments to force their employees to work in a low budget?
Printing as much money as they want without loss of value? Then why do we all work? Let them print the money, we are going to the world tour. It is like ruining the world economy based on years of experience. What do you think makes the existing assets valuable in the world? Being limited, right? e.g If the whole world were made of gold, not of ground, would gold be so valuable?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BSV goes up by 50% in 24 hours, bull trap? on: January 14, 2020, 09:23:48 PM
Must be by mistake. The price today spike up to 90% and no signs up going down yet.

But It must be dumped before Feb 3, CW has to prove he has the BTC since the court asked him to prove he has the BTC in control to prove he is satoshi. If he can't prove this, he'd be proven fake finally.
Wow. BSV is now $ 330, even passed BCH, and fourth in the market. What could have triggered its price in such market situation? Where is such a strong demand? Why can not we see?

Make sure that the price will ultimately go down. Today's price increase and some false statements are used only to gather supporters. Lets wait for the outcome of this court, but also make sure that someone who can influence the price so much will do it again in the future until the money runs out .
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin touch 9k USD next month? on: January 14, 2020, 08:59:50 PM
As I predicted bitcoin going to touch 10k soon by this year.
many suggested it can't be,
many suggested it will go down again.
but recently bitcoin has grown up from 7k to today 8.6k.
Now I am prediciting bitcoin price by next month or end of this month will touch 9k.
whats you guys say?
It can even break $10k with this speed. But firstly, it should exceed $9k, then will pause at the $10k worthy psychological barrage. The price circulating in the $8.7k should take a few steps to go further. The current situation of the market seems to be very positive. Recently altcoins have been moving with this increase, which is what most of us want. For better prices...
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Progress Since 2017 on: January 13, 2020, 10:15:49 PM
Unfortunately, Ethereum has been losing power since 2017. Ethereum dominance remained at very low levels. Ethereum-based Exchange began to lose popularity. Ethereum needs a new advertising campaign.
Yes, dominance has weakened a lot since 2017(almost 3x). But I did not understand what you said after that. What does it mean that ETH based exchanges began to lose popularity and needed a new advertising campaign? Does it need advertising?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 13, 2020, 09:54:13 PM
Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
It is almost impossible to oppose manipulation in the current market conditions. We need a little more development in terms of value and regulation. Recently the main problems are related to the increase of fraudsters, the failure of new projects and the altcoin season.

Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else?
The project itself is more important in this regard. The token's success does not depend on its blockchain.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing Price On 2019? What do you think this year 2020 will be? on: January 13, 2020, 09:02:07 PM
Bitcoin closing price on Thanksgiving:
2020 Dec 30 - Huh
2019 Dec 30 - $7227
2018 Dec 30 - $4,365
2017 Dec 18 - $19,140
2016 Dec 30 - $973
2015 Dec 30 - $431
I am just interested. Why December 18 in 2017, while in other years December 30?

What do you think this year 2020 will be? Comment below.
2020 seems to be appropriate for the market to climb positive points. IMO halving will bring the price to a point, willing or unwilling, before or after. My theory is that the price increases until halving, goin down after halving, and another increase at the end of the year.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Ok. Number of Bitcoin transaction increased double. Expect price increasing? on: January 13, 2020, 08:43:45 PM
The Bitcoin transactions did not double. Stop posting blatant lies.

The transactions are capped by the block size, the only variable which might change is the fluctuating transaction fee cost.
I guess he compares 2015 vs after. Otherwise, the number of transactions has not increased recently. BPX should be what he wants to show us, which we have been recently facing in the altcoin discussion. He started such a made up title because a topic about BPX could not be started in this section. Check his recent posts, you will see what he is trying to do.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin answer needed asap on: January 12, 2020, 11:33:36 PM
This shouldn't be very confusing, the address for deposit should show on which blockchain it's supported, I know Binance and major centralized exchanges supports the ethereum network. To avoid mistakes if an not too show, I just use known altcoin to move asset to an exchange supporting USDT ethereum network.
Binance supports ERC20, OMNI and TRON based USDT deposit/withdraw. In others these options are essentially offered too.
Among these options, you can deposit by choosing the desired blockchain based Tether:
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 12, 2020, 11:15:33 PM
I don't know if its the right call or not but i just feel like its better to sell my bags of altcoins for bitcoin, most of the altcoins i owned are not top altcoins, mostly new coins from bounties and I've seen coins worth of 2k turn 20$ while holding them, finally i decide to take out the losses and invest in bitcoin, if you are holding any altcoins that aren't good enough do not hesitate to sell for bitcoin to at least make some profits
Obviously, no need to be a top altcoin, it is enough to have real product and team. But if they do not have these qualities and you think they will not succeed in the future, I support you in your decision. The weak altcoins you mention will weaken as time passes by, so you lose more every second you are late to sell. Buy and switch to BTC, IMO losing at BTC makes you feel better than losing at altcoins like them.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Twetch.app - The reason for Bitcoin SV's Rise on: January 12, 2020, 10:48:13 PM
You should learn a bit more about BSV. I suggest you check out ANN thread from beginning to end: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4985868.1920
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Fall Because of China Or Actually They Dominates Bitcoin Mining on: January 12, 2020, 10:27:09 PM
China has been one of the leading roles in crypto and mining for many years. Every single step government takes in this direction affects the market, more or less. Their new year, crypto related decisions by goverment are the proof that how the market is affected from such big country.
Chinese can not ban bitcoin.!
When we remember before the unban, I guess they could do it within their own boundaries.
37  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What are the fees on the crypto platform u are trading? on: January 12, 2020, 10:05:43 PM
Stex may be what you are looking for, the fee will be %0.5 if you complete the third level verification. But, there are also accusations about it in the scam accusation section. Actually, it is not a big issue, but the best is to be careful. Therefore, I suggest that do not leave Binance. If you search the average, you will see that their fees are lower than the average.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Forks Are Bad? on: January 12, 2020, 12:06:14 AM
It's simple to see and yet many failed to see the truth, many said coin forks are bad because they are just copycat of the original coin well so far all forks from popular coins are doing well, last bullrun all forks like bitcoincash, Ethereum classic, litecoincash all bring huge profits more than their original mothers, who says forks are bad? I thought we are all here for the profits? Honestly aren't this coins more better than most new coins of nowadays?

Bitcoin gold, bitcoin private, zclassic and etc, i knew some you made fortunes out of these forks, these coins are better
Fork is good when it can be useful for the market. Why should I be interested in a fork created for speculation? There is no big difference between it and pump-dump coins. Instead of chasing forks to gain, search for the remaining thousands of coins/tokens in the market. Fork is mostly related to technical improvements, which will be profitable when successful.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will Bitcoin cost this year? on: January 11, 2020, 11:41:49 PM
First of all nowadays after seeing the bleeding cryptocurrency market. I don't trust that altcoins will boom again when the Bitcoin raising. May be we can find BTC and ETH alone growing bigger.
After few months we can expect the bitcoins value like how you feel, but no altcoins.
If BTC increases, altcoins will not remain calm this time. Long term prospects will explode this time. Did you pay attention to altcoins in recent small increases? Since yesterday, LTC has risen by almost 15% and ETH has risen by more than 10%. This is evidence of how hungry they are and what they can do. I believe that if BTC touches better price this time, we will see it in altcoins as well.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on my portfolio please on: January 11, 2020, 11:20:12 PM
Your list is good, just there is a little shortage about the amount you have diversified. The amount you have allocated to BTC is less than ETH. Perhaps you have calculated this in accordance with the potential for increase and thought it should be, but you should allocate to BTC at least as much as the amount you allocate to others. While BTC is most likely to increase, how do you trust others so much? At least look at the market situation in recent months, was not BTC the best?
