281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 20, 2019, 10:24:49 PM
if that happens maybe buying and selling of goods would be in satoshi
why would everyone need fiat if bitcoin value is 100k?

I do not think so. Compared to its initial price, BTC increased by almost %3.000.000 and I did not see it as an main payment method. I think these issues are not related to each other.

If bitcoin really reach 100k, maybe altcoins will be filtered more. So, like what you said about real product of altcoin will make them survived or at least still have value in market. But, 100k is very high for bitcoin price, maybe take longer time to reached. So, for now no need to worry when we want to invest in altcoins.
IMO the price increase offers a new opportunity for more altcoins to survive. What you say is more appropriate for the bad situation of market so, in bad situations investors become much more picky.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 20, 2019, 10:04:33 PM
New upcoming projects are targeting 2020 either for good market season or because of the upcoming bitcoin halving, they want to avoid loses that is plaguing crypto space at all cost, even good projects of this year had hard time gathering needed fund and the lucky ones managed to reach softcap, what do you think about year 2020? will it be a very good year for IEO and bounty hunters?
2020 seems to be a better year. The IEO market will likely be in a better situation. But I doubt the same thing will happen about bounty. Already bounties have been starting to seem too redundant. Which good project bounty have you seen lately? Maybe you are going to say there was one or two, but these numbers are very few. As time goes on, the bounties will get worse.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 09:35:01 PM
Hold is a long-standing and working strategy, but it is not always relevant. I believe that we should always be in search of something new. Because the same strategy can't work for everyone the same way. There are many areas of earnings and fixate on one of them is unreasonable.
I agree with you. I do not think the mistake is about the system. Hold tactic arose from many years of experience, and with this tactic there were people who folded their portfolio by 1000x. Maybe the mistake is in the chosen coins, maybe in time, but not in tactics. Wait for the right time without touching the wallet a little more. Because if you have thoroughly investigated the coins, the only issue is time.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 20, 2019, 08:14:40 PM
I want to know what's the easiest way to make money with crypto today? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Smiley
Signature campaigns are still the best way to make a profit without investing, if it had already been better, the majority would not have gathered here. Or consider it as a bounty. You can advertise on social networks apart from signature campaigns. You can also offer escrow service or try to be a BM.

maybe for now the airdrop keybase can be used to get profit but you have to wait for further payment. and for signatures you can join the yobit campaign, because so far the project that provides good enough pay is yobit
I guess he did not talk about airdrop while he meant easy money making. Making money from airdrops is similar to ''find black, take money''.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN BULL RUN TO START ON THURSDAY (11/21) AFTER DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT? on: November 19, 2019, 10:08:43 PM
"BITCOIN BULL RUN TO START ON THURSDAY (11/21) AFTER DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT"

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-bull-run-to-start-on-thursday-after-difficulty-adjustment/

Do you think this is true?  Sure would feel like Christmas.
This may be the first time I have seen anyone predicting the exact day of the BTC increase. Perhaps the prediction has become easier, but I do not know. As far as I know, BTC is still a king who maintains its own wildness in nature and it is not that easy to predict what it will do in advance. In this respect FA is more appropirate to estimate the price, but not TA. That is why I am not convinced about this analysis.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which DEX do you believe will be the most used 2 years from now, and why? on: November 19, 2019, 09:43:20 PM
The first DEX on the market was Blocknet, pretty decent DEX, but there are so many out there.
I do not understand why Blocknet's name has become more popular lately. As far as I know, it has been present for a long time. Right?

Binance DEX for sure yet its being dragged on with Binance reputation/popularity itself thats why as long Binance is on the peak then
i would say that among or even we do just talk about liquidity then this one would really have it knowing that going thru their
DEX would have the chance to be listed into their main platform. So the next step is normally for most projects to go look or do go after that.
There is no more place left for Binance to interfere with. I am so bored with this, we should change the name of the crypto market to "Binance market".
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 19, 2019, 09:22:02 PM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.
Although there are a lot of unnecessary topics lately, you can not find a better place than it to take advantage of. BTT is the best place to explore any project or sharing ideas with other members about any coin, in short, to find out more about the crypto sphere, also the best for finding scam projects. Find out the information you want by looking at the section you are interested in. Also search by clicking the Search on the left side of the Profile button above.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 19, 2019, 08:58:42 PM
A new record has been set with over 6,000 Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide. Everyday, cryptocurrency achieves a unique milestone which further puts it in position for global adoption which is inevitable.
Setting up these ATMs is a good innovation but, how many people use it? IMO very few. There are even other altcoins that create their own ATMs. Actually, it can not help us. Instead of this, accepting cryptocurrency as a payment method in some places would be beneficial for the stronger crypto community in all respects. If these ATMs were so useful, people would use them instead of exchanges.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top Crypto for 2020 on: November 19, 2019, 08:34:38 PM
Several crypto experts predict that bitcoin will go up in the upcoming years and other cryptos like ripple, litecoin, ethereum and one of the top crypto for 2020 to invest.

What's your take on top crypto for 2020?
We are all hopeful for 2020. Halving will be a good reason to influence the price. This increase will start with BTC and affect other altcoins. I check your list and I think it may be better after a few additions, because the market is not just about top coins. You can also add some low volume altcoins. If you can find one of the better ones, its increase may be greater than the increase of all others.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CHART 2016 VS 2019 on: November 18, 2019, 10:39:01 PM
The same pattern for 2016 with 2019
First form an ascending triangle then fall and sideways rise up to a few percent and now form a falling wedge pattern
I think support of $ 8300- $ 8400 is very strong, we will probably touch $ 12000 soon .. !!
What do you think..?
I do not think so. TA does not work here with this logic. Candles in the crypto sphere are more prone to fundamental news. Psychology works better here. For example, the expected halving for next year may be the exact opposite of TA, but make sure that halving will be superior. TA may be useful in short term, but in long term you will not get satisfying results.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Portfolio update , your thought please on: November 18, 2019, 10:09:11 PM
Portfolio update. Your thought is really important for me

Cardano         22,91%
Neo               14,33%
Ravencoin       14,17%
Iota               10,38%
Ontology         9,66%
Nano              9,44
0x (zrx)          7,50%
Dusk Network  5,30%
Apollo Network 3,01%
Vidt                1,16%
Own (Chx)       0,62%
Morpheus Labs  0,58%
Lition               0,48%
Swarm             0,41%
Why was not BTC, ETH, LTC included in this portfolio? Your choice may be good, but the kings of the market are kept away. The prices of ETH is lower than it should be when considered with the current price of BTC. If you are positive for next year, pay attention to what I say. Cram the kings on the side of the altcoins which you divide more percentage.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best altcoin which gives 2x profit in 1year on: November 18, 2019, 09:43:23 PM
please suggest me some best altcoins that can easily give 2x profit if I hold them 1-year.
IMO when we look for long term investment, it makes more sense to evaluate the market itself. The possibility of an increase in BTC for next year may be about this thought. This increase may be more or less than you say. At least I expect the price will go above $15k. If this increase is sufficient, it will be the most reliable way to try.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 18, 2019, 09:18:19 PM
I sometimes ask myself: if crypto was not considered as a mechanism for making fast money, would it have attracted so much attention? Probably not. Almost the value of coin with USD is every thing. Trading is not wrong thing, USD itself is also traded today. But, USD is used in real life as required, so what about crypto? I guess the answer is no again.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money by stablecoin on: November 18, 2019, 08:55:51 PM
You can make profit with stablecoins depending on which pair you trade with. It does not make sense to hold or earn with other tactics. Instead trading with the USD itself would be more profitable.
You can try to trade stable coins, for example when 1 Tether goes below 1USD there is very big chance that price will come back to this level again.
The price can usually change 0.01%, so millions of dollars are needed to make a profit from this kind of trade. This can only be a waste of time.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 10:16:18 PM
You should spend your time or your money. From what I see, you have mentioned most ways to earn. These are ways we almost know, if there is another way, it will be another branch of bounty or trade.
Everyone talks about blogging, commerce, using referral systems, bounty, campaign signatures, streaming, selling courses, offering their services in gaming, camwhore. But there are other not so known ways to generate/earn cryptos?

One of the most viable ways to generate cryptocurrency that has been known to man is by begging. Just enter crypto communities and create a sad tale of misfortunes for yourself then ask for donations. You'll sure get more than enough
This can not be considered as a way of making money. This is abuse of someone's help and is at the same level as scamming.

in my opinion you have mentioned everything. I will add that what hasn't been mentioned is mining. mining can also produce crypto, but this certainly requires a large cost. then follow the faucet but the coins obtained from the faucet are very few and the last is hacking. we always hear about bitcoin hacking. because sometimes if we don't have a strong security system, bad people will easily hack into our wallets.
I do not think he wants to cheat anyone. You should propose different methods.
296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 09:49:50 PM
However, there are also many ideas that "not every Hold is the best". If a person held bitcoin before December 2017 until now, they would still lose more than 50%.
Those who bought BTC cheaper than the current price before December 2017 did not lose, on the contrary, they made a profit. Measure your earnings with the amount you invest, not your regrets.

If you are an investor who does not have much time to observe the market, nor know the analysis of charts, then the Hold option is the best for you.

And for investors who like to "trade", certainly Hold is not their choice, because the short-term waves are the time when they make the best profit.

How about you? Are you holding Bitcoin
I continue with both options. While holding an amount in the wallet, I evaluate other opportunities with the remaining portion. I guess I do not miss an opportunity with this way.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 17, 2019, 09:21:16 PM
Redtrush on the bounty manager will affect the trust of participants in the bounty that is managed, indeed the bounty that is managed is not necessarily scam or fake, but of course participants will lose interest because there is a redtrush that indicates the manager has made a mistake so that the redtrush is given. I myself still check projects that are managed if I find majaer with redtrush.
As stated in the topic, it is possible to consider at the issue differently when red trust members are the bounty managers. Being a BM is not as easy as it seems from the edge. As a hunter, you only lose $10-15, but BM loses his monthly effort, money and reputation. Actually, others do not hurt, but your reputation for years is ruined by an any damn project. Now, change sides and consider the theme from the other side.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 17, 2019, 08:56:49 PM
Since Bitcoin was created, Blockchain technology promised to bring full decentralization over people's funds. Each cryptocurrency has a certain level/degree of decentralization depending on the consensus algorithm used and the number of distributed nodes worldwide. While Bitcoin is known to be the most decentralized cryptocurrency today, it still has a certain level of centralization attached to it. PoW is not perfect, as well as, PoS, DPoS and other consensus algorithms.

In the search of "True Decentralization", I found out that there's no such thing. One way or another, a cryptocurrency will have some level of centralization as nothing is perfect in this life. Which is why, I'm starting to think if "True Decentralization" is more of a myth than anything else? What are your thoughts? Huh
Who cares about decentralization if there is no profit? Already the market has changed a lot compared to the past, most of us forgot what our main goal is. How many of us are using DEX? maybe 1 from 10. Because DEXs are not profitable. The profitable ones are Binance's IEOs and what they list. Do not get me wrong, but the truth is so painful in this regard.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption of crypto in retirement savings plans growing on: November 17, 2019, 08:30:33 PM
Not a bad idea. Imagine working at an organization and you get all your pension or retired benefits in Bitcoin! You'd be a billionaire by the time you retire in 20 - 30 years time (unless the bear market lasts that long, then you'd be really messed up)  Grin
I do not think I can take this kind of risk. After 30 years if the prices are not what you expected, you will not be able to cover your retirement expenses. We all believe that crypto promises a better future for us, but our belief does not mean it will. This offer and insurance is good option for a certain amount, but not for the entire retirement.
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 12:11:37 AM
If somebody were to HODL one currency, what could it be?
A 100% altcoin portfolio? Or a 100% bitcoin portfolio?
If I had to choose one, that would definitely be BTC. I do not worship other "peon" while the king of the market stands.

Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?
Definitely! If you look at the volume of the market, only 16 billion of the 57 billion volume belongs to BTC (according to CMC) and the rest is divided among the altcoins, and that means that most people are in the same thought.
