121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmex Research Reveals That investors have lost about 98% Investment in IEOs. on: December 23, 2019, 10:50:20 PM
I do not think we need statistics for this, which is easily visible when we look around. Even the Binance IEOs, which everyone thinks are the most successful, return its deserved price as time goes by. At a time when the market is in poor condition, only HYIP increases. There are surely some projects that do not belong to this view, but the majority is the same. I can not give you a suggestion not to invest in IEOs, but try not to be victim in these movies.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: December 23, 2019, 10:30:13 PM
Obviously bear market took too long. Most of altcoins have been falling recently, and this has to be broken somewhere. If halving expected for next year affects BTC, it may be possible to affect altcoins as well. Actually, there was an increase in prices at the beginning of this year, but this increase resulted in a price drop again. That is why I believe another wave will come.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: One faithful day that change my life. :) on: December 23, 2019, 09:40:20 PM
Sad story... I do not think you have much to do, everyone should be at least one person to trust. Your mistake was in choosing a friend. But I have a question, have you ever thought about going to the police or an institution that deals with cybercrime? Since you are friends, you know everything about him, and that is enough to contact the police.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 23, 2019, 09:18:02 PM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money
If noone is scammed, the scammers would look for another way. Otherwise, why the same scenario every day everywhere?

But I did not understand the 53BTC theme. How and where did owner find such amounts? Does not he know he should not trust anybody with that amount? That means that there could be newbie's with 53 BTC...  Huh
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Store of Value Question on: December 23, 2019, 09:02:39 PM
There is no reason why 1BTC should be more valuable than the other. Always 1BTC = 1BTC. 21 million BTCs are all created in the same way, are charged the same fee and have the same price. In addition, many of the BTCs on the market have been used on darkweb many years ago. We do not have such a choice, and I do not think it is necessary. Whenever blood splashes on the BTC paid for the murder, we will differentiate them.

Theoretically you are correct but in reality, virgin bitcoins are more valuable than normal bitcoin. Technically, both are bitcoins but the virgin one is being sold at premium in the market. The premium ranges from 10% to as much as 30% in some cases. Read the below article,

https://medium.com/@official_83664/what-are-virgin-bitcoins-and-where-can-i-buy-them-d6eab0f669e0

Due to the transparent blockchain technology, it is easier for the regulatory agencies to track down the bitcoins that are used in illegal settlements! Probably a normal human being like you and me, won't be able to differentiate between these "blood bitcoins" to "virgin bitcoin", but there are companies like chainanalysis or Ciphertrace is pioneering such techniques! Slowly becoming a reason of concern!
Thank you for the article, and I guess I have heard about it a long time ago. Anyway, as long as virgin BTC is on the same wallet, its status will not change. Someone who wants to sell it at a higher price should sell it with private key so that its virginity is not compromised. Because it will not stop after the place is changed. Personally, to me, I can only consider its virginity as being different than others. Otherwise, BTC is BTC.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about HEX? on: December 22, 2019, 11:14:16 PM
I've heard that it's likely a scam. Read this tweet by this guy, he's telling that if you invested $130 then it's now around $3 with HEX.

https://twitter.com/CryptoScamHub/status/1208720751433584640
HEX is a new project, HEX entered in coin marketcap on December 18th, and the price is now -92%, is this what makes people think that they are SCAM ?, in my opinion it is common in new projects, this token is still nobody's interested
You can find out what the community thinks: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5207757.0 Obviously, there is no conclusive evidence proving that HEX is scam, but you do not have to look too closely to see it to be bad.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Store of Value Question on: December 22, 2019, 10:53:46 PM
For sure. I think that Criminals use fiat / gold as a means of crime. BTC is trackable correct , but i'm just saying that because there are some coins that are deemed "bad" , it makes the other ones that are virgins , more valuable.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 22, 2019, 10:35:21 PM
Bitcoin's will surely have good days ahead post halving but which will be the most valuable altcoin for 2020?  I vouch on Ethereum and Tron but I would like to know expert's opinion as it would help other members while choosing their altcoin investment as altcoin does pump along with bitcoin so those who cannot afford to invest into bitcoin can invest into altcoins.
I am not an expert, but I would like to give an opinion. So top altcoins are more likely to be affected by the increase of BTC, as I have seen from previous influences, the majority invests in more reliable ones so top altcoins. That is why, considering that the price of ETH is also in a bad condition, it is very likely to be affected by this increase. Indeed, if there is an improvement in 2.0, there will not be any sell order to counter the increase.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many projects is bad on: December 22, 2019, 09:45:24 PM
First of all, it is possible to encounter any kind of projects in the decentralized market, but excluding new projects is not the solution, it is just like cutting them off. This year, the market hosted a successful project like ATOM, would it be better if we excluded it? I think no. Actually, I do not know what the solution could be. Also, investing only in Binance IEOs would not be a right idea as some newbies' proposals. Maybe we should find a way to inform the majority and keep them awake.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: multiple charts at once on: December 22, 2019, 09:09:04 PM
cryptochartsmonitor.com

lets you chart for free multiple binance pairs. up to 150 on a page.. charts are from tradingview, customizabie. and you can add your favourite indicators

you need some decent ram on your pc to open many charts.. initial loading takes a while but once open charts work fine..
The site will certainly be useful. But, I think having only Binance pairs and not finding the pair we want is the lack of site. For example, it would be more useful, if BTC/ETH graph of all exchanges had been instead of just Binance pairs. So, it would be useful to compare the same pairs in separate exchanges. On the other hand, site needs the option of choosing the pairs. Someone who wants to choose the 5 pairs he wants, will have great difficulties.

I think not all traders open charts up to hundreds of pages.  Because it's usually hard to find focus when too many charts are opened.  Only need to open a few to be analyzed.  Does not also require a computer with high specifications.
IMO having more options is not an obstacle to us. If 5 of them are needed, use that much.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 21, 2019, 11:16:35 PM
Another forum member has started a similar topic an hour ago from you, and you can find answer in here also: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211491.0
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - Going to 70$? on: December 21, 2019, 10:48:13 PM
It is hard to expect an increase from ETH these days, there has not been a big update after the last Istanbul hard fork and we have seen a decrease rather than an increase. So I can not give you an opinion that the price will be 2digits in the near future, but the situation is very bad. Also, the delay in ETH 2.0 will further accelerate this price drop.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know a website to sell images for crypto ? on: December 21, 2019, 10:26:26 PM
Hello everyone, i want to ask about the website to sell images(not service about draw image) like a digital painting, sketch, and other draw images. In this website, where i can place the image and set the price.
Anyone know where i can sell the images ?
Why not in this forum? Have you ever visit Marketplace section? As far as I know, you can sell your pictures for BTC in Goods.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: December 21, 2019, 10:08:50 PM
In the dominance category bitcoin is ready for altcoin season but seeing altcoin is currently still waiting for confirmation of bitcoin price movements if the price of bitcoin has confirmed a bullish trend, alt season will begin
Recent BTC increases are only for itself. We have been seeing this selfishness a lot lately. Checking out the price of the altcoins in recent months is enough to see this. So do not be hopeful that halving will affect BTC and the altcoin season will be triggered. Also if you go ahead with this idea, you will not be too upset if the price does not increase.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How and why to buy Stablecoins in 2020 on: December 21, 2019, 09:48:33 PM
Stable coins are good only for traders, but why you should hold stable coins instead of money? There is still risk that company that created stablecoin may end.
I am not a fan of stablecoins too, but they are useful for those who trust. Stablecoins are the best solution for daily traders and for those who want to avoid the loss of value caused by the bad market situation.

Also if you buy stablecoins, you can miss the opportunity of buying cheap cryptocurrencies.
But, if you know the right time to sell and buy, you will not miss a chance. Stablecoins are meant to take advantage of the decrease, in time of increase is not needed much.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 20, 2019, 11:40:16 PM
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

You are absolutely right. Scammers have been developing along with the market. If they were weak, they would have been stuck somewhere in the past. But, check out today's crypto market, the scammers have developed so much in this regard that we have trouble choosing the good ones. Always need to be careful, we have seen many scam projects that gained people's trust.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Peak = $ 1,432.99 USD (Jan 13 2018) on: December 20, 2019, 11:18:26 PM
In your opinion, does the founder of Ethereum (Vitalik) still have tens of thousands of personal ETH?
I have read an article about Ethereum for $ 1,432.99 USD (13 Jan 2018) and in a written statement that (Vitalik) sold 30,000 of his personal ETH at the same time. but I forgot the link.

BTW, for example (Vitalik) still has tens of thousands of ETH or hasn't sold all of its assets at the time, so I think Ethereum still has a big chance to reach the highest price again.
how about your mind?
There is more in his wallet than the amount he sold. But, how could that be a problem for us or ETH? If Vitalik wanted to sell it, he would sell all ETHs from the highest price. As far as he shared on Twitter, this address belongs to him: https://etherscan.io/address/0xab5801a7d398351b8be11c439e05c5b3259aec9b Finally, I do not think anyone is gonna stop ETH. It was always strong, and will stay strong.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 20, 2019, 10:53:20 PM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

What are your experience: positive or negative.
Firstly, I guess you do what makes sense, because sales will increase and the price will fall due to the coming New Year. When we look at the past years, we can see this easily. But, according to another assumption, crypto is uncertain. Maybe this year, buy orders will surpass sales. However, the second one is a option that can come up in every selection, and it may prevent us from making the right choice every time we consider. So I think the result can be positive.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese City Warns Investors: Crypto Isn’t Blockchain on: December 20, 2019, 10:30:45 PM
I think this is strange, the fact that blockchain stands for crypto itself, and there says Crypto is not from the blockchain part. Or indeed there boasted not to invest in crypto because anti or there is a want to be people there invest in the currency made by their own country.
The government warns its citizens beforehand, predicting that there may be those who misunderstand what they say. Indeed, the government maintains its own image. On the other hand, we know how ugly the crypto space can become, wherever we look scammers and pump-dump schemes. And in a way this means that the government also protects its citizens, either directly or indirectly.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Staking WAR has begun, who is wining it? on: December 20, 2019, 10:08:11 PM
The staking war for the most prominent facilitator is underway. Coinbase and Binance are taking blows at each other to become the in house staking platform, who do you think is winning?
I do not think there is anything to lose. No need for competitions, both of them have enough customers. Both, even those who stake will win/earn.

Are you currently using a staking platform or facilitating your own?
Honestly I have not tried, and do not think I will. Firstly, it is not the right strategy for me to deposit funds with the condition of not touching the exchange for 1 year. Also, a lot of things can change in this one year, and I am very unlikely to get a return on the investment.
