21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: July 25, 2020, 11:03:14 AM
I have been reading a lot of articles on the forum and i have to say a lot of people are already giving up on trading due to some minor/major setbacks.

I write this article today to explain some few reasons why i think people are not really comfortable with the trading environment.
1. Lack Of Proper Trading Education
A wise man once said " Lack of education causes lack of progress which in turn causes lack of motivation". Most new traders have a common believe that the trading market is a Fast Money Producing market which is very wrong. Instead of learning the basics of trading and develop a reliable trading skill they settle for Signal groups or end up investing in a scam so called (money multipler groups).

2. No Risk Management
I am a victim of "No Risk Mangement". In my earlier days of trading, i always try to maximize profits neglecting the probability of the loss if a trading day/week doesn't go my way. The market is becoming unpredictable day by day, therefore traders new or experienced need to have a proper risk management regardless of your analysis of the market. I personally enter a position with 3 -- 5% risk of my total equity.

3. Lack Of Patience
The trading market is not always green or red, it's unpredictable as i mentioned earlier so there will be good and bad days for a constant trader. The aim of all traders is to at least 10X their loss in profits but if this is not the same for you, you need to be really patient with the market and try and go through your analysis and strategies all over again. Sometimes it might even require you changing the pairs you trade.

Additional information and advices would be appreciated. Thank You, Stay Home, Stay Safe.
Well that's right, i think almost all of us in trading have experienced that kind of things or situation and only few people learn to from their losses, adjust and start learning a proper way to trade. It really takes time and we have to encounter the thing that you stated before we learn from it. Hence, it is not easy to adjust as we know trading is not that easy and deny it or not we are always affected by our emotions. We can set the target stop -losses etc, but as always i believe we can't set aside our emotions when the trade goes in the opposite direction. Everything is a process.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sudden Ethereum PUMP!! What is the reason? on: July 24, 2020, 04:00:12 PM
Hey guys, after waking up in the morning I saw ETH was at 263$. Currently sitting on the 270$ price. What is the news behind this pump?

Also, are we going to see Ethereum again 300+? What's your thought on this?
I don't hear any news about ETH  ,maybe that's because of bitcoins price jump, ETH is just waiting for bitcoins to pop up and it followed. If we're going to take  alook on the chart. $300 is really attainable if the price will continue and it may pull altcoins to pump more as most of the solid altcoins are now only pumping.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is based on probability. on: July 24, 2020, 01:08:13 PM
A lot of people do not want agree that surviving in the market today requires every trader to come to terms that they are trading on probability and at every moment of the trade there are series of different possible outcomes.

As a trader, the best you can do is find the most likely scenario based on the data you have and understanding the risk involved too.
Choose the best probable outcomes that favors you to avoid stories as rekt.
Technically, yes, trading is based on probability as there is no assurance if the market will going to rise or fall but we can have an advantage on it if we know how to read charts. The chart will be a big help and survival in trade is the most needed. People trade especially the new ones because of easy profit the only thing that comes to their mind is to be greedy earn quick which is not that easy. Trading needs right risk management. proper entries and exits etc.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 23, 2020, 03:23:54 AM
I think most people approach crypto in the wrong way. With "get rich quick" approach.

If you come to crypto with such an attitude, you should never ever invest.

On the other hand, if you actually had to earn it while doing whatever you are usually doing anyway, that involves money?

Examples:
You get crypto as a token of gratitude after making donation to some project. (crowdfunding)
or
You are paid crypto as a bonus to your salary.
or
... (any other examples come to your mind?)

Wouldn't the whole cryptoworld be way more healthy? What do you think about it?

You got the main point out there. Well, that's the reality, especially these times where almost all altcoins or crypto projects are making some huge price surge. New people who have been encourage because of the profits without reviewing what kind of investment it is will be always get trapped.
I always teach my fellow crypto enthusiast that they have to think price and calculate the risk before they invest. There are so many projects that offers low risk high reward and so why to choose high risk with low reward.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi and CeFi ratings on: July 23, 2020, 01:22:18 AM
A lot has been talked about DeFi in the recent times and it is encouraging to see how this sector is growing rapidly which indicates the demand and formation of a new and unique financial sector which will have major positive impact on the crypto market as well which we will see in coming months.
Now what i want to discuss is that before DeFi we aleady had a lot of crypto based centralized Finance projects (CeFi) some of them seem to be grown really big business wise.
So here i want to discuss and rate the top projects in both the CeFi and Defi sector that add up to form crypto finance.
You are welcome to share your thoughts, opinions, likings and dislikings regarding these and if you see more high quality projects you can mention them.

Top CeFi based projects:
Nexo
Celcius
Crypto dot com
Blockfi
Amon
Crypterium

Top DeFi based projects:
Aave
Compound
Synthetix
Uniswap
Maker
Kyber

You are open to rate them in terms of security, user and regulatory compliance, profitability and reputation etc.
This is a good topic, although i have not really knowledgeable about cefi and defi if i'm going to based on it I will choose defi because its decentralized. I don't know what are the advantage of CeFi at this moment. In terms of roi, I'm also in DeFi because whe have seen a huge profit on it. I trade only and not on investing for long term as we know that sooner or later Defi hype will going to fade and just like any other projects it will going to go down and some of it will going to die.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: July 22, 2020, 11:46:24 AM
In this week's episode of Exscudo Talk, Trevor discusses the recently hyped up altcoin season and also dives into the recent Exscudo Exchange marketplace metrics.

Tune in, and don't forget to join the weekly EON giveaway!

(Click the picture for the link to YouTube)

Is there a recap report of this so we can catch up with the latest news, also have a question if there is a plan of promoting the exscudo exchange since it was lacking of volumes. Listing and adding other coins and tokens as well is a good thing especially a new tokens that has been added to the market.

Fat fingers  Grin Grin Grin Kidding aside though it is very unfortunate and ofcourse irreversible. This is the very reason why I always double check all the info prior to doing any transactions whether it is on Ethereum or any other blockchain.

A very good reminder for everyone to THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK!

these words are often times associated to social media posting but I think it is applicable to everything.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: June 10, 2020, 10:38:57 AM
for most altcoins, the prices are affected by BTC price and dominance. Right now, BTC dominance is still high but few weeks back some altcoins have been showing some good signs and are going up price wise.

I think if we are to invest in altcoins, we better look into the team and development of the project. Usecase and uniqueness is sometime I always consider too.

Also, team matters to me, if they are always active then my confidence grows.

30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 08, 2020, 01:39:14 AM
Ok, today we have a huge update about the topic. The Mexican president decides to make for this a reality or kind of...

To explain this i will talk in Mexican Pesos, so, remember 1 dollar = 20 pesos.

Today AMLO (Mexican President) decide to make raffle and he doit public, but he changes the rules of the game:

As you can see in the ticker, there will be 100 winners of $20,000,000 pesos. And there will be a total of 6,000,000 tickets $500 each ticket.

So, the total amount to get from this raffle is $3,000,000,000 Pesos, $2B will be to pay the 100 winners, and the other $1B will be for the plain maintenance in the next 2 years, hospital equipment and other stuff.

No one will win a presidential plane, only the value of the plain... For me, this sounds like a big scam. What do you think guys?
Yes as its sounds a money making for them. I have no doubt people will still try their luck and will buy a raffle ticket, The good thing is 100 people will be the winner which looks like a good odds for the people to be convinced.
I will not going to buy a ticket anymore also the price marks up
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchanges to practice for free? on: February 07, 2020, 11:35:29 AM
I will open accounts on some exchanges soon. I would like to prioritize one where I will be able to practice for free. From what I have read and seen so far, Binance seems to be considered the best exchange overall. However, I didn't see any mention of being able to practice for free on Binance website. So which exchanges would be best for that?
The only exchange that i know is etoro that will let you practice using a demo account and for the Margin trading you can try Bitmextestnet.
for me the best way to practice is by reading the chart and watching the orderbooks but it will only in your mind or you can write down. what price you will going to entry and exit with that you are like having a practice but it would be always better to practice it with a live demo account. choose your own preferences.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 07, 2020, 05:56:31 AM
Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?

if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?

would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.
No, i gamble 1 a week but to spend to minimal amount a spare money for only a leisure time or whenever i want to.

Gambling everyday is a bit hard to stop. I tried and experienced this before about 6-7 years from now and i don't want to go back anymore in that kind of situation because i lose all the money that i have and the worst thing is i have no personal money by that time so to say its my parents money and i learned from the time that i won big amount of money but in the end i've lose it all because of greediness to bring back the money i doubled and tripled with an almost 5 or 6 lossing streak until i left the table run out of money. Gambling addiction is never is to stop you need a realization and discipline yourself to not do the thing anymore.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 07, 2020, 03:18:37 AM
Mexico could raffle his presidential plane, the idea is to sell 6M tickets of $25 dollars each one, and the winner gets a presidential plane evaluated in $130 million.

This crazy idea is because the Mexican president wan to sell the plane to spend the money on other projects.

What do you think would you buy a ticket?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jan/17/mexico-amlo-presidential-plane-raffle
Well, for me this is a sort of easy way to raise a funds to spend to other projects a good intention for the president. By doing math the total amount of the sale for the presidential plane would a huge profit, and i'm thinking about who are willing to to buy that ticket to take their chance to win the plane.
who knows what is the deal behind this?who can assure us that the money will be used for other project?and like what other poster said above having a Presidential plane saves the government Lots of money whenever they are travelling because he(the president) must be accompanied by many delegation and for sure he wont be flying by Himself so the reality about selling to spend in other project is questionable.
If ever, i would only buy one ticket for it and if i won, selling it is the best option for me i don't even think about using it its a luxurious plane and costly when it comes to maintenance selling it and use the money to spend onto other things would be a great idea. I knew some other will going to buy many tickets to have a better chance they can afford it.
if lucky to win, then you can even Rent the plane because that can be a bread and butter as this is a transportation thing the only problem is how to maintain and secure the plane by simple people?
I didn't even know, but I guess the OP knews it and he based it from other news.

You're right, it is questionable where does the president will spend the money in the first place it is a property and money from the government.

Absolutely, thanks for another good idea as it will give a passive income than thinking where to spend the money if i'm going to sell the plane and have a business. That's the only problem to maintain it since it was a luxury, there should be a certain rules to be added to the passengers and to keep the workers to check the plane regularly as long as i can pay them.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: February 05, 2020, 06:29:17 AM
They just should collaborate with the EON at CMC.
What kind of collaboration do you mean? if you mean the Exscudo list on coinmarketcap I don't think it will be "EON" because there is already the name of the token. So maybe the team has to think of other names besides that to be able to list there.
Surely, it should be the other name as EON was already taken by "Dimension Chain" project.
it's the price for not getting enough volume and until now still not listed in coinmarketcap, now they'll have to rebrand or rename once they apply for listing.
They doesn't need to rebrand anymore whatbis it use if they can't improve right? The name itself will become more loud and spread throughout the cryptomarket if they made such enough effort to make a new plan and enormous changes on their exchange.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO legalities in 2020? on: January 26, 2020, 09:20:08 AM
Even though ICO's have lost the appeal lately.

I was just wandering about the legalities. The SEC website confuses me. In the eyes of the SEC are true utility tokens still classed as securities in the USA? Is this why many companies avoid the USA when it comes to ICO's?

If a company from outside the USA releases a token, do they have to comply with SEC regulations to enable usa investors?

I am not from the usa but live here now. Is it a resident or a citizen issue?

US are protecting their citizens from investing, i don't know what the main reason is but my friend said that it was because of the scam and the reason was they are not allowing the US citizen to contribute on any ICO even IEO i guess. SEC have a wide range of it handling every single ICO that collected a big amount of money. If the ICO or project failed to submit the worst is the project might stop and so to failed.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: January 26, 2020, 07:42:54 AM
Investing in IEO is a lot of risky, so now every day we see a lot of new IEO camming in market that has not any  project. so Ishould't invest in an IEO without researching . But several IEO's we have seen that investing has made a lot of profit , so don't invest in an IEO without research
Everything is risky in terms of investing and i agree on that, a person or an individual investor is a must to have a research before investing it is not a joke if we are going to invest with high risk and low possibility of reward. In some IEO we can earn big profit because of hype that's it as if it is a reputable project and exchange no wonder how it is not that popular the IEO will be going to succeed in raising funds and make big amount of roi for that hype only.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with USDT or BTC? on: January 26, 2020, 02:53:19 AM
I trade on exchanges that support both. Then I can use BTC as my regular collateral and switch to USDT in volatile periods where I don't wanna take extra risk.

Right answer, i think people can simply do this thing because maybe (cmiiw) trading pair in BTC is more choice than in USDT pair, and price is almost same i think. If people afraid with volatile, just sell bitcoin to USDT after our trading executed and don't need to worry about volatile anymore.
It all depends on the current market perhaps switching from USDT to BTC or vice-versa will make you a good amount of profit. you can also trade a lot of altcoins that are propotional to its trend for USDT or BTC. Trading should be fun if you know how to spot the possible trades.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 26, 2020, 01:48:52 AM
If you see, the price of Altcoin went up very high in early 2018 and then the price of Altcoin fluctuated in 2019.
Now in 2020, people are expecting the price of Altcoin to go up. If the price of Altcoin goes too high then it will be very difficult to buy.
Some people say that cryptocurrency is a digital currency, we cannot calculate its value because we cannot accurately estimate the value of cryptocurrency / Altcoin. We can say that when people give bad news about cryptocurrency, people get upset that they sell their currency.
Why it will be very difficult to buy if they can buy right before the big pump is going to happen. 2020 is a good year i think for all altcoins as the King bitcoin is going to havr its halving and i don't expect but as the cycles says it is going to be a great year before and after the halving period. Take the opportunity.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: January 25, 2020, 03:50:25 AM
"Money makes money"
Also in the other hand. Imagine we have two traders:
1. A Rich one who doesn't need to go out and work and eating best foods and having best pillow  Grin
2. A Poor one who needs to go out and work and usually thinking about bills, etc..
Ofcourse, the first one can trade much better than the second one.
I hope all you guys be the first one with a good pillow xD
I like this, we all want to make money while sleeping or having a pillow. Good for those who are rich who doesn't need to work but for like me and the others we need to strive for the best to secure our future. For the whales they're always making money in this game most of the time.
