942  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: December 11, 2017, 05:52:53 PM
Because it is very profitable saving method in last days. It grows a huge amounts in a hours and investors are having a good profit at everyday.

Making your bitcoin stay for couple of years inside your wallet is dangerous for you. It is only like saving cash in a bank and waiting the interest to get mature. Neither of these investments is good. It is really better to let your money work for you. Don’t let your bitcoin reach maturity inside your wallet without even being circulated and earn double or triple that making it stay inside your wallet.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 11, 2017, 05:29:23 PM
If the crypto market collapses, gold will be remember as the heaven safe asset as it has always been. Just read history books
The possibility of a crushed crypto may exist for some reason as the rule of all governments around the world forbids the circulation of the crypto currency. of course that is a bad thing for cryptocurrency. therefore I always make a backup plan. ie set aside my money for another investment that is gold.

Between the two heavy means of wealth in the world, gold and bitcoin, I would answer bitcoin. It is not that I don’t see the value of gold but we are now entering in the new generation of currency. Before, gold was everything, for a long period of time. Suddenly, cash took the position of the center of the focus of the world, and now, it is the digital currency, more specifically the age of bitcoin. As the technology continues to evolve, it is by that bitcoin has to be chosen between this two.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 11, 2017, 05:16:12 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

No, I wasn’t really that astonished to learn that bitcoin’s price increases so fast. A bit of course, but as I study the movement of bitcoin, I was able to notice the sudden swift movement of its price. No doubt of it because this was able to overpower the value of dollars in the market even though it hasn’t reached the knowledge of many people.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: December 11, 2017, 08:01:26 AM
unfortunately yes bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency, even if its technology is outdated
Bitcoin is the first ever crypto currency introduced to this world. By that time, bitcoin is really making lot of positive impact on the society as well as it is also helping number of people in making their lives very much comfortable. Though it is having lot of fame and popularity but still it cannot be treated it as the strongest currency of the world. It is still not recognized officially by this world which is creating few troubles.
No, Bitcoin wasn't the first cryptocurrency, but it was the first decentralyzed cryptocurrency.

Yes, Bitcoin will stay the strongest currency in the world with continuus growing community and a solid network.

I do agree that bitcoin is not the 1st ever cryptocurrency and one of the strongest and with highest value among all cryptocurrencies but with the question, is it now the strongest currency in the world?, I must say it is not yet. Why? Because according to some articles, only approximately 1% of the total population of the whole world do know and are involved in bitcoin so we cannot claim yet that it is already the strongest. Besides, dollars still lead the throne of being the most known currency in the world. Though, I believe that bitcoin has the hihest potential to become one.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 11, 2017, 07:50:32 AM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.

I don't really know which drug are you referring to, a medicinal drug or an illegal drug. Well if it's a medicinal drug, I don't mind if you are to use bitcoins for buying that. Besides, this is already considered as currency and currency is supposed to be used as medium if exchange. Though on the other hand, if you are referring to illegal drugs, I strongly disagree that you use bitcoins. Well BTC is just starting to explore the market as a digital currency. I believe this should not be used for any illegal expenses to maintain its value.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: December 11, 2017, 06:53:07 AM
I don'tthink the bitcoin will survive for the next 100 years. At least not in it'scurrent state. The tech is evolving faster by the day and the bitcoin will need to make some major changes in order to survive for the next 100 years

I am not against the growth of Bitcoin. Besides, its continuous increase in value for long period of time will be so beneficial for me as a trader. But 100 years is very long and too far to foresee and foretell if bitcoin will still be existing at that moment. It will always depend on how bitcoin will be able to sustain, improve, and easily adapt as the technology never stops upgrading. One thing is for sure that change is very constant and it is permanent. Maybe just like pounds, a paper currency which is the oldest currency of the world that up until now is currently in used, bitcoin will still be able to occupy a space in the market but we don't know if it will still occupy the top.
948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: December 05, 2017, 02:44:49 AM
You can always get disappointed in trading. It is the proper handling of emotions and take a good solution is important when you are dealing with some losses and do some mistakes.
Mistakes are mistakes when you lose there is something wrong with your trades. There's a lot of stratedgies in trading typically its a battle between thousands of traders. You have nothing to disappointed instead you need to push more to learn trading.
949  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: December 05, 2017, 02:21:23 AM
Bitcoin volatility can be controlled. If there are many people who transact with bitcoin. And it can be done but through a very long process. Need technical and realization to everyone.
It doesn't need many people to transact because at first bitcpins volatility can be controlled but not dictated whales may control it for now because they are holding sone big amount of bitcoins that can make it pump more or dump but once any of the big country's like korean and japanese accpeting bitcoins, the price will be unstoppable due to huge users and they will cone in point to dump it after the hype was gone.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: December 05, 2017, 02:11:28 AM
I am not sure that gambling can help my life, gambling is an entertaiment for me
I do not think that gambling can help to get some the money to be success in the world

There is no way that gambling could help us in our life because all I know is gambling only makes us to lose our money, it is just fooling us that we could win but the real thing is it is just a bait for us to gamble more. Gambling only help us to lose our money, not to earn one.

I guess no one wants to lose money, right? but people like to spend their money on gambling and many of them hope that they can make money and they think that gambling can help their life. playing gambling is not a good way to make money, it is just for getting fun and enjoy the games.
They don't intend to lose their money, they are still hoping to win but casinos has an edge so we have to understand that we will lose most of the time. Having fun is the only way where we can benefit from gambling and might help our life in the form of entertainment, if we want to make money, let's take it outside the casino as we will never gonna have a chance beating the casinos, in the end we will just regret.

that is right, we never understand about this and we just continue playing gambling. I agree that we don't need to try to make money in gambling and like you said, only having fun that we can get in the casino and if somehow we can win the money then we can consider the money is just for a bonus. there is a small chance of beating the casino and our money can loss in anytime. if we want to try to make money in gambling then we can try to invest with the casinos.
Actually, there is no chance to beat the casino, they are the masters of the game and if you won it is only a small percentage in their money with the money you won cane fron other players money.
Your reply was slightly out of the topic mate.
Get back into that when we won there is a chance to help our life and it will be depending how we will spend itfor the good or bad.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the classroom, yes or no and why? on: December 05, 2017, 01:08:36 AM
This is for a personal writing project I'm working on. I imagine that Bitcoin would be good for things like teaching things like math with decimals ("How many Satoshis do you need to get a tenth of a Bitcoin?", stuff like that), budgeting (Spend it on whatever you want, but when it's gone, it's gone), or even a little bit of IT / programming stuff like how cryptography works. What do you guys think of this?
In my own opinion, teaching bitcoin inside the classroom in not even necessary. The idea of bitcoin is very complicated and is not appropriate to teach to students because they're still studying. Bitcoin is for those people who wants to earn money because of different reasons like they experience financial problems or they sre saving to have a better life in the future. If bitcoin will be teach in school, they will now focus on earning money rather than studying.

I don't think we have to limit children at their age to learn about cryptocurrency, specifically the bitcoin. In my own opinion, children are sent to school by their parents to learn what their household life experience cannot teach them. They are sent to school to become literate in all matters specially in financial. Children have to study for more than 16 years to become prepared for the real world. The corporate world and the world of investment-and bitcoin is now part of it! It may not be necessarily be included in the curriculum but I believe that schools should allow bitcoin enthusiast or volunteers to impart the foundation of bitcoin learning. At the end of the day, this will be beneficial to the children.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to help grow Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 08:23:40 AM
For example: Whenever you walk into a store, ask if they accept BTC or cryptocurrency etc. ? Even if you know they don't. It primes the cashier or manager to better acknowledge the next customer who asks a question like this and also starts a conversation or beginning to something new.

What would be your idea?

Technically speaking, Bitcoin is already growing indeed. Yet it is not enough that only some knows about this. The coming generation, I believe is about to start an age of cryptocurrency. Social media is one of the best and easiest medium to help grow bitcoin. Using the vast connection of people that it covers, one short post or video or blog about how bitcoin helps may create an enormous noise around the world. Also I agree that news and facts about bitcoin can be transferred by mouth. One dedicated bitcoin investor like most of the people in this online forum may organize a seminar to educate people who are still unaware of the goodness of bitcoin.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: December 04, 2017, 03:51:33 AM
Welcome to Bitcoin and to the Forum!

The questions you're asking are great ones. However, they're also questions that you can find answers to REALLY easily on this forum or Google. I'd encourage you to do some reading here and then come up with some more specific questions.

I can help get you started with some simple answers.

Why would I invest in bitcoin? All sorts of reasons ranging from pure curiosity to love of new technology to investment diversification. Bitcoin is used as currency to buy things and as a store of value, i.e., a place to house your savings with hopes of value appreciation or hedging against the depreciation of stocks or savings held in fiat currency. One example often used is that of Cyprus. Are you familiar with the country of Cyprus and it's severe monetary crisis from a few years back? It was so bad that the Cyprus government controlled how much money their citizens could take out of their banks. Think about that. That government telling you that you can't access your very own money! How scary is that? Bitcoin offers an alternative. No government (currently) can seize control of your bitcoin, this represents safety and security.

What's the difference between bitcoin and dollars? Bitcoin isn't regulated by any government. It isn't created "out of thin air" as fiat currency is. There will only ever be a finite amount of bitcoin, which controls it's value. Once all bitcoin is mined there will be 21 million in existence, that's it. No one can ever create more (as is done every year with fiat currency). When fiat currency is created by central banks they reduce the value of the existing currency in the market, which results in inflation of prices. This is why the price of every day things (that haven't changed in 50 years, like groceries or utilities) have gone up in price over time. There's a lot of other differences, but it's better for you to read up on them.

Why would I gamble with bitcoin? I don't, but if you want to you can gamble for significantly smaller portions of money (like cents as opposed to dollars or tens of dollars). And you can do it from the convenience of your computer.

Here are a few links for you to explore:

Feel free to respond with other questions. I think you'll get better response if you educate yourself a bit first and then come back with more specific questions.

Have you bought any bitcoin yet? Do you have a wallet yet? (If you don't, PM me and I'll set you up and give you some bitcoin)

Good luck to you!

I totally agree with all of these. After all, Bitcoin is also considered as real money. It just happened that it is an electric money while the dollar is a money made of paper. Well dollars, or any other paper currency has value controlled by the stock market. Any change or incidence in specific country can make a wave in the value of these paper money. It can be easily controlled by the government making it hard to really trust to invest in a stock market. Greedy people in the government may possibly create something that may effect to sudden change (depreciate) the value of real money. I don't say it is hundred percent safe to invest in bitcoin but the security of this is much more trustworthy that the real ones.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Varification help!! on: December 04, 2017, 01:43:24 AM
I'm from south korea. We have korean trading platform, but I really wish to buy bitcoin so I'm trying to join one of trading platform, but I'm stucked varifying my account.

I have my passport, I can take a photo of myself with my passport, but what the hell is the "proof of residency" is?

Are they asking me to live in U.S to buy bitcoin?

What document am I supposed to submit? whatever the document is, it should be written in korean language and I don't think they can read it.

Please help!!!!!

At what bitcoin site are you trying to register and verify your account? MAybe you should submit or send there any utility bill such as electricity bill, water bill and others, as long as it has your name and the address. You may also use any tax identification card you have there. I hope this helps.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: November 30, 2017, 10:12:59 AM
The policy to not remove anything worked when the forum was small. Now that we have thousands of posts a day, we can't afford 50% of them being junk. The moderators are now instructed to be less tolerant of low-value posts.

Some guidelines:

1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner. Swearing, SHOUTING etc. make your post more likely to be removed.
2. No zero value posts or threads, like "SELL SELL SELL"
3. No pointless or uninteresting threads.
4. No referral code spam
5. No NSFW content

This has to be really implemented. Some posts or comments don't seem to be relevant to the topics. I  think, it's better if the moderator filter the attempts to post for a certain topic. Well I agree that selling in this kind of discussion groups must be prohibited. It is also a must that links posted here should be confirmed to be free of virus or spam free for the safety of the members of this discussion group.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall down on december on: November 30, 2017, 07:16:51 AM
Bitcoin is rising too fast. It is not normal. How do you think?
I predict Bitcoin will fall at 7k on December

Yeah I agree with that but I believe that will only be in the middle of the month of December. Well based on my observation on the movement of Bitcoin in the past months, though it rises so fast, there are also times that its value gets down and it always falls on the middle part of a month.

ETHD price slow down, i think because ETH price are rising, so many people try to sell ETHD to convert to ETH  Sad
For me it is much profitable to hold ethd and after the swap if it goes $1 we can get much profit on it. Not all supporters of this coin is aware in the swap in especial in coinexchange.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: November 12, 2017, 12:02:13 AM
It is very hard to say right now, i see many informations about the future of bitcoin and the bitcoin cash. Mainly I see people saying Bitcoin Cash will begin main currency, and the new "bitcoin". It should happen in may 2018, so it is still some time to that date. Generally th bitcoin cash is more usefull for transactions, fees etc. So the idea is interesting for me. I will observe further.
I think it will not going to replace bitcoins since bitcoins is our main use and pairs with BCC still have no longer available. It might be a FOMO for others to miss this chance but i will dont join BCc it was all hype in price before the fork.
