21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to everyone today on: March 26, 2020, 05:42:10 PM
In cases of emergency like this, it is really difficult to trust banks. One of my friend had a problem finding an online ATM to withdraw some money and majority of the is offline. That is why having an alternative such as crypto is good. There are some ATMs in our country is not operating due to the pandemic and lack of cash.
22  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDragon.com - Provably the best crypto gambling in the world! on: March 24, 2020, 11:51:30 AM
Hi I just want to make an early announcement that coindragon would have a Mini Signature campaign soon so stay tuned for more updates.
And thank's for having me as the campaign manager.

Wow, amazing. It's good to know they are starting their marketing. Though, it is a mini signature camp it will be worth it. Good luck on the campaign.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 17, 2020, 08:52:00 AM
Banknotes are one of the most prominent carriers of the virus. Most Casinos are closed right now due to the epidemic. Making it online gambling the best option for most gamblers. This might be a good chance to encourage traditional gamblers to switch to online gambling.
24  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin's price, at ang ating mental health. on: March 14, 2020, 12:41:08 AM
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: March 12, 2020, 05:37:58 AM
Most of the time bounty hunters are blamed because the price gets dumped which sometimes leads to a coin having a price almost a nickel. However, people should realize that the majority of the tokens are on the investors and the team itself and only a small portion is distributed in the bounty. 2℅-5% of the total supply won't hurt the market price that much if you will think of it. The reason why an altcoin becomes a shit coin is because of the competence of the team, not being able to develop and promote a project, and also investors aiming to just earn from it.
26  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [SERVICE]Charcoal and Graphite Portrait Drawings on: March 10, 2020, 07:10:18 AM
Great work. Madami talagang talented na Pinoy and I think reasonable ang prices ng master piece dahil buhay na buhay yung mga portrait. Thanks for sharing you great master piece.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 07, 2020, 12:59:09 PM
Just by looking at the team and the white paper you will already have a gist that a project is a potential scam. Making your own in-depth research about the team and the project itself will help you gauge if ever it is legitimate or not. People should do due diligence before promoting a project, that way it can help lessen scam projects from entering the cryptocurrency market.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a safe haven for corona virus economic impact? on: March 07, 2020, 11:41:11 AM
At the moment BTC is holding its ground and I believe if things get really bad with corona virus BTC has a real chance for mass adoption. If corona virus gets really bad there will be leave without pay, global recession etc!

Bitcoin can be an alternative to fiat just in case people are worried about economic downfall during the virus spread. The spread is starting to create fear around the world since the number of people affected by the virus and death toll increase as time pass by, which is slowly affecting world economy. I've read that some aviation company had less flight, and had to put some of their employees on leave due to travel ban in some countries. This will affect major businesses as well as tourism in some country which I think has a major impact in economy. Another article was shared in our local thread that Iran is using less of their bank notes since it can be a major virus courrier which I think is true. This can push people to use alternative payment method such as cryptocurrency or online payment methods.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for bounty payments on: March 07, 2020, 09:42:47 AM
Good idea, but how many projects are willing to pay their participants with BTC/ETH or any other tradeable crypto, only a few. Most projects opt to pay using their altcoin to save them from spending money from advertisements. The only reason I see is when they pay with their alts they won't be spending any money since the payment they are sending has no value yet.

30  Local / Pilipinas / Re: IRAN BABAWASAN ANG PAGGAMIT NG SARILI NILANG BANK NOTES? on: March 07, 2020, 02:17:01 AM

31  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [BABALA] Isa na namang Scam (Bitcoin Lifestyle) And Kumakalat sa Website ADS on: March 07, 2020, 12:01:57 AM

32  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: PONZI SCHEME FRONTROW on: March 06, 2020, 08:41:00 AM

33  Economy / Economics / Re: I have Good news for bitcoiners on: March 06, 2020, 08:01:30 AM
Details on your analysis would be appreciated. Anyone can make a speculation that bitcoin will be at this price, or at his price. However, 300k is actually too high as of the moment, gradual and slow growth of the market is healthier than for it to suddenly spike. This might be achievable but it might take decade and mass adaptation should take place.
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: New online casino - GreenSpin.Bet! on: March 06, 2020, 07:21:21 AM
Did anybody try this out ? Deposit --> withdraw ?

And which is it OP ? You stated that no KYC is required  , but in your terms it's  "You must first make a minimum deposit and fully verify your account in order to be eligible to withdraw."

You must have missed reading this part:

Quote
Specially for BitcoinTalk users who deposit and withdraw with crypto currencies only we do not require KYC.

They are making an exemption for bitcointalk users. Which I think is convenient for forum members. This seems to be a conflict if they are requiring KYC for legal purposes as mentioned by Rhavar. I think OP should clarify this one.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: March 05, 2020, 08:36:00 AM
Some gambling platforms offer incentives, promos, events, prizes, and contests to their avid platform users to attract potential users or even to let incentivize those who are loyal to their platform. This is one of the best ways of marketing gambling platforms.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: March 05, 2020, 07:22:14 AM
Have you been here when BTC started? I guess you have been to crypto during or even before the last bull market, or you are one of the investors of crypto who had put their fate into crypto. How can you say you are used to it's volatility if you cannot see how far had bitcoin went compared to when it started. How many price correction have you experienced and how many times have you seen bitcoin price pumped and dumped?
37  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GUIDE] Sekretong Malupit sa Pag Benta/Bili ng BTC sa Coins.ph! on: March 05, 2020, 05:59:26 AM
Bump

Thank you sa guide, however, I think majority of the people who got scam especially online would rather accept and move on.
With the long process that you have to undergo in reporting, if you don't loss big enough, personally I would not waste my time just reporting, maybe it's enough that I share my experience online so everyone who can read it will be aware of the scams, and most of the scammers are not registered so the government agency will find it hard to tract them.

39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Just for Online but also IRL Gambling on: March 05, 2020, 01:00:38 AM
I have never experienced that in real life since I only gamble with my friends and never have played casinos in real life before. And if ever,  before playing a game I always watch the mechanics and see for my self if the game is fair and square before playing it. I've never seen an in real life gambling that is rigged.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 12:13:26 AM
The age of 5 is too young for someone to gamble. They should be learning how to value money during that age and not to risk and waste money.

This age restriction doesn't matter since there is online gambling that doesn't require KYC. This age restriction can be bypassed minors easily.
