321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 08, 2019, 12:38:56 PM
This is a good question. But if you ask for a good coin, you already know the answer, this is bitcoin but if you also ask for another option I will suggest that you can add eth to your investment but make sure that you give a big part on bitcoin because it is more practical and you will only adding eth as a back up.

The title actually indicates coins aside from bitcoin. I'm wondering why people are still suggesting bitcoin. I agree that ethereum will always be one of the best alternative as an investment due to it's demand and since it is next to bitcoin in regards to market cap.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things to know about ICOs before you invest in them on: December 07, 2019, 09:48:01 AM
I dont think anyone wants to invest in ICO's these days, People have understood that ICO's doesnt make people rich right now, they only make the angel investors rich and usually the creators bail out if there is too much hype. Even IEO's not running because even exchanges are not that trustworthy.
ICO are almost forgotten this year and very few people choose to invest in this form because the risk is too great and always makes participants nervous. I think it's best to stay away from ICO projects because you certainly will not be able to make a good profit. Currently, IEO/IDO/STO is an investment trend that is more interested in people and will definitely help you to make a profit if you know how to research.

However, at this time the market is still not stable, so you need to be more careful because if you participate in a bad project, your risk will increase.

Most people are focused in IEOs nowadays because of the automatic coin listing. People are tired of waiting for a long time for ICO tokens or coins to be listed. Most investors care about the value of a coin or token more than it's use case or final product.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 07, 2019, 09:18:29 AM
P2PB2B  is a platform with a fake volume. I've had a project whose coin is listed there and if you look at the history all the trades where from bot. They must have a cheap listing fee that is why most new project choose to conduct IEO there.

325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confused, Your thoughts is needed on: December 06, 2019, 05:45:43 AM
Bounty hunters are blamed by team and investors for dumping the price but the amount allocated to the bounty is just a small portion of their total supply which I think has a really small significance or effect to the market price. Early investors or pre-sale investors get a huge discount or bonus and most of them are whales who are buying a big portion of the token or coin which most of the time dumps once the coin gets listed.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me how to fish on: December 06, 2019, 04:49:23 AM
Start trading with a small amount, let your failure in the past be a good lesson and experience for you. Remember than even expert traders lose big time in trading, the market is difficult to speculate, you will never know what will be the bottom and the peak. Just set for a certain target price for buying and selling.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 06, 2019, 03:47:21 AM
The fear of dumping often makes the project team fear or avoid the payment of hunters until sometimes after the exchange listing. I wonder why the team make themselves restless on an easy thing like that when they can easily conduct their bounty with bitcoin or ethereum for payment. That will safe them of the fear that the bounty hunter will dump after the exchange listing.

Paying bounty through their token saves their project monry instead of paying via bitcoin or ethereum. Projects are blaming bounty hunters, but they should realize that the bounty pool is only a very small portion of their whole supply. If dumping is their concern they should also considering looking at the pre-sale investors who had a huge amount of discount at the early stage of their crowdfunding.
328  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [UPDATE] Senior advisor for the Dash Core Group has apparently disappeared on: December 05, 2019, 09:51:54 AM

School teachers, students, reviewers, and even accounting book authors will have to learn the basics of cryptocurrency. I would not be surprised kung magkaroon din ng specialized field para sa crypto ang mga accountants.

Agree ako dito, malamang hindi lang sa accounting field magiging  profession na rin ang cryptocurrency or blockchain tech in the near future dahil sa pag lawak ng adoptation at demand nito habang tumatagal.
330  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Accounting for Cryptographic Assets on: December 05, 2019, 07:02:23 AM
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 04, 2019, 10:59:04 AM
Cryptocurrency is decentralized and not under their control. If they will use it it will only mean that they acknolwdge crypto as legally accepted currency which they have bo jurisdiction. Who don't even know if the government is not really using crypto or if they have been using it secretly.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 04, 2019, 08:44:40 AM
The things you have mentioned are the most common ways to earn. You can also offer your skills to be paid in cryptocurrency. Some projects are hiring staff such as community manager, bounty manager, marketing supervisor, and a lot more.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have there been any money laundering schemes that used cryptocurrency? on: December 04, 2019, 06:36:31 AM
Due to cryptocurrency's nature, it is most likely that people had used crypto for money laundering activities. You can easily move a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency. KYC procedure can easily be bypassed by passing a fake document or even buying ID through the dark web.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: December 03, 2019, 06:19:17 AM
There is nothing free even in cryptocurrency. When I first started in cryptocurrency faucet is the only thing I know on how to earn bitcoin. Today, cryptocurrency had become main stream due to its demand and potential. You will have to be skilled to earn either by working for it or trading. Earning in crypto is a sound money, especially if you are skilled. There are a lot of ooportubities you can grab, either by working, developing, offering your services, trading and a lot more.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: December 03, 2019, 05:52:29 AM
There might be some countries that are against cryptocurrency, but the convenience, advantage, and opportunities that cryptocurrency has to weigh more than the downside or the fear of people bitcoin being used for illegal activities, scam, fraudulent acts, money laundering and etc. People and the government are always skeptical of qhat is new, not until everyone or the majority is pro against it. Just imagine how the internet or any other innovation started. Only a few are patronizing or even using it when it was first introduced to the mass, but now it has became a big or even part of our daily lives.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: At What Price would you stop investing more money into Bitcoin ??? on: December 03, 2019, 02:20:00 AM
Bitcoin price went down from its ATH down to almost $3000 and it is really a significant markdown. And it still depends if ever the decrease in price is driven by market manipulation or lack of development or demand in bitcoin. Maybe I would stop investing on it once it drops to $100 if this happens. Or maybe I'll buy tons of bitcoin if it will get lower than that as a souvenir. 😆
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: December 02, 2019, 12:55:53 PM
I actually avoid bounties which will require me to disclose personal information because it will put your identity at risk. You may not know if your personal information is secured. You should communicate and ask for assistance either from the team or the bounty manager. It is better to call their attention in their telegram group if they have one or post on the bounty thread, or DM the manager.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Just a thought about bounties and bounty managers on: December 02, 2019, 07:12:35 AM
It actually depends on the arrangement between the bounty manager and the team. Some projects bounty are distributed by the manager and sometimes managers are only responsible on keeping track and submitting the spread sheet to the team for distribution.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: December 02, 2019, 06:16:59 AM
That is why he chose to be anonymous. Bitcoin changed how people store information, funds and transact in a convenient way without the need of third party or banks. Banks and other financial institution had been stealing money from people, bitcoin and cryptocurrency became the solution.
