521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 27, 2019, 05:54:41 AM
I learned my lesson and stopped promoting bounties depending on the reward. A lot of bounties promise a huge amount of money and people must read carefully when joining. The amount of money allocated on the project is most of the time based on the token cost, so let's say the project declares an amount of bounty to $1****** as bounty that would be based on the ICO price to that total amount. Don't be fooled, there is no guarantee that a project will even reach the point where it will reach it's ICO price or even gets listed. Promote projects that is most likely to deliver their product or service and has an active and legitimate team and good white paper.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Success factors of a project on: October 27, 2019, 05:23:09 AM
A good working product, marketing and also the current market situation. I guess support from investors is not enough at all, the team has to be active in developing the project. I've seen a lot of project who had gained a lot of money in their funding stage and yet died eventually due to mismanagement.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dormant addresses are waking up? on: October 27, 2019, 02:31:02 AM
We cannot confirm if these 21 addresses are owned by just one person, but it would be a coincidence if they became active all at the same time. It could be an early adapter of bitcoin. Guest have forgotten that he has a bitcoin or just have found the access to his wallet again because if I were that person I would have chose to sell my bitcoin last 2017, and not today. Or it could be that he needs cash immediately or he had set this specific time to sell.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 7 Days to Vegas - A must see movie for gamblers! Share your thoughts about it. on: October 26, 2019, 05:25:42 PM
Thank you for sharing. Haven't watched a gambling movie for a while now and might add this one tomorrow to the lists of movies I will watch. The best gambling movie that I have seen so far is a Korean gambling movie "Tazza; The hidden Card."
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are You Concerned On Sudden Rise of Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 12:19:28 PM
No, there is nothing to worry about whenever the price comes up, just take what you can. Whenever there is a sudden surge, a market correction occurs. Most people are waiting for bitcoin price to rise. The market had been volatile ever since bitcoin was created, so this is not something new in crypto.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 02:57:07 AM
I think people will get tired of it and I think what would be the catch on visiting and clicking on the website. A lot of scams is going on today and people are skeptical in clicking links and visiting unsecured sites. So, I doubt if a lot of people would spend their free time trying it.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: October 26, 2019, 02:35:45 AM
There are many theories about Satoshi Nakamoto, but there is no way for us to verify if Satoshi is a single person or a group of programmers hiding ina pseudo-name. And I guess it will remain a mystery since it seems that Satoshi has no real intention to reveal himself to the public. I guess we should just respect his decision to be anonymous despite him being the creator of one of the best innovation in technology and finance.
BITCOIN! on: October 26, 2019, 02:05:20 AM
530  Local / Pamilihan / Re: {Babala}:Phishing email gamit ang Ledger S/X on: October 26, 2019, 01:33:10 AM
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 26, 2019, 12:49:57 AM
Being disciplined while gambling makes a great deal of change. It keeps you on track and it can limit your loss if possible. It also lessens the chance of you getting addicted in gambling. If you are disciplined you know when to stop either when you are winning or losing. This is a difficult thing to do and sometimes even how hard we try we always break our limit and just gamble till we lose a lot of money. But once, you master being disciplined, you will notice that you will not crave for gambling and never get too greedy when gambling.
533  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Security Vulnerability: Ledger Nano X and Ledger Nano S on: October 25, 2019, 11:09:57 PM
It seems that there had been a lot of scam e-mails lately. Good thing that I don't give too much attention on spam e-mails or even any announcements via e-mail, not download any updates or click links sent via e-mail. Be cautious guys, scammers are finding different ways to earn easy money.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi... on: October 25, 2019, 05:36:18 PM
You have read between the lines I think. I think what he meant there is if you are not interested or don't believe in him he doesn't want to waste his time convincing other people. We don't actually know what really happened to Satoshi, everyone has their own speculation who he is or what happened to him. The only thing who can verify that would be people who knows his work and know him personally who I think keeps his secret and makes sure he stays anonymous.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 25, 2019, 12:31:09 PM
If I were to receive a gift, I would prefer receiving it as digital cash. I spend most of my fiat for my daily expenses and I put all my savings in crypto to avoid myself from spending it. I think it would also be more convenient giving or receivong digital cash as a gift, and you can also use to pay goods online if you want to buy something from it.
536  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 25, 2019, 06:44:13 AM
The industry has moved from a more open style to a much more professional style, previously during the ICO boom period, people often hired people in the service board or other sites.

Nowadays, these get rich schemes have died down and are no longer popular and it's become a real life job market with much more regulations - most people will just recruitment agencies and other platforms to hire now.

It's good for the industry, means we are starting to see crypto-based buisnesses be taken a lot more seriously, but it's bad for the community.

This is true, earlier days in this forum, a lot of projects look for people who would like to apply for a certain task or job, as time goes by projects' preference when looking for someone to hire becomes to high that it requires someone being a blockchain expert, or someone who has a certain experience or a professional. Also, not to mention just before the bear market there's a lot of successful ICO and there's a lot of job opportunites, when the bear market started the demand and fame of new successful project flopped.
537  Local / Pamilihan / Re: News/Events/Happenings on crypto in one website on: October 25, 2019, 05:54:04 AM
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do ? on: October 25, 2019, 05:04:04 AM
Been reading about this a few months back or maybe a year ago, I thought this issue is done or had been resolved. In regards to selling or holding, I guess people from India have no choice, if it is illegal then they should abode, not unless you'll try to hide or get jailed if you got caught. Let's hope that the Indian government will reconsider this and try to consider or even review what convenience and opportunities can crypto bring.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pro-bitcoins Politicians on: October 25, 2019, 04:01:22 AM
It's good to know that there are politicians that are positive in regards to crypto currency and that are supportive of innovative ideas. I believe that politicians should be that way, and should understand the possibility and potential of cryptocurrency and how it will help and bring convenience to the mass.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fee-less cryptocurrencies...Are they the future? on: October 25, 2019, 12:33:36 AM
Is fee less possible? I don't think so. Miners will have to get their rewards. I think a very cheap transaction fee would be possible and this might attract investors. People are avoiding transacting through bitcoin when the price is too high due to the transaction fee. If this can be achieved in the future, I guess it would attract a lot of investors.
