1021  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 14-03-19 VISIT NEW WEBSITE on: June 04, 2019, 01:07:59 AM
However, there had been a lot of update in Stake. Stake now accepts a lot of different altcoin not just bitcoin in their platform.
There is no need to pointlessly shill Stake since everyone knows that it is a popular crypto gambling website and it is a part of several lists posted by op. It has been rated as the best blackjack website too. Other websites offer altcoins as payment options too which is why this is not game changing news.

And, as of now Stake is considering having sports betting in their platform which I think is great, since most gamblers prefer sports betting aside from casino games.
This is good news and will help improve the popularity of Stake in a big way, but it won't be easy due to fierce competition from established sports betting websites like Sportsbet.

Let's hope that this feature would be added soon, it might not be going to be easy for Stake to compete with other trusted sports betting site, but I think this will be a huge development in Stake if different categories of gambling on their site will be added. Most gamblers don't just focus one one type of gambling, so they have a lot of preferred site for each type of gambling they like. If Stake will be able to slowly implement and improve their site with different categories of gambling games, gamblers will never have to switch from one site to another.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Best and Fairest Online Gambling Site on: June 03, 2019, 11:25:05 PM
For me best and fairest gambling site are those site which is running for years already.

There site are still up for years because users are already trust the website.
I must say that there are many factors by which you can evaluate the casino and not just over the period of time. The site may be active but does not contain players and games are not good. In addition, it is the players who determine their site rating and not the site owner
Definitely yes! Many ways to know how a certain gambling site has genuine services or not. For the OP, There are lots of gambling site found outside of this thread. If you want a legit gambling, try to look the years of their services. But probably, whether you like it or not, you will waste your money once you have entered the world of gambling.

Gamblers decide which is the best and fairest online gambling site. It all depends on gamblers experience while using different online gambling platforms, the gaming experience, service, promotion, and length of existence of a certain gambling site. For me Stake and PrimeDice is one of the most trusted and fairest gambling site. Both platform is created by the same team, so there's no doubt that they have an active team that never gets tired of improving their services and giving out their best to give back the favor to all their solid supporters by giving the gamblers exciting and generous prizes thru their promotions and challenges, they also have an active support that really tends to all the needs and queries of their users to make sure that they face no problem when using the platform. If speaking of gambling experience and quality service, I would say Stake and PrimeDice will always be on the list of most gamblers in crypto community.

1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stable Coin Statistics on: June 03, 2019, 07:30:59 PM
It's a good thing that you're offering services for analysis. It would be a big help for those who are aiming to find out which the movement and changes of some coins.
Knowing the number of transactions and coins being burned would bring us an idea and will help us make a firm decision on where to invest.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitex Exchange on: June 03, 2019, 07:17:24 PM
Don't waste your funds in that coin. There are lots of negative feedback about it as well as their team and developers. Why don't you invest in trusted coins? There are lot of good potential altcoins these days especially ethereum. Ltc, Xrp, Eos are some of good choices or you better invest with Bitcoin. Try to get rid of coins like Bitex.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Universities are leading the way with Cyrpto-currency and/or Blockchain? on: June 03, 2019, 06:13:31 PM
As per research, there are already huge universities who are offering cryptocurrency courses. You can find it here:
https://www.accounting-degree.org/college-cryptocurrency-blockchain-courses/
It's important that we'll learn about crypto more but you can also learn things on your own. Of course, universities could teach us properly since they got reliable sources and tools to teach us.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 03 reasons for Bitcoin Bitcoin value in the past month on: June 03, 2019, 06:01:17 PM
I agree with all of these reasons but one thing that affects the price is the belief of investors that the bull run could happen anytime this year. That expectation is also the reason why most investors are accumulating more Bitcoin. The incoming Bitcoin halving has a big impact on the price of Bitcoin as well.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it true that ALT coins had a bigger rise than BTC last May? on: June 03, 2019, 05:43:09 PM
If you're talking about assurance, Bitcoin is still the best choice. It depends on what you believe is more profitable. There are also potential altcoins which are worth holding but if you will observe, Bitcoin is soaring high these days and it could go even higher so if you want a sure profit, you better invest with Bitcoin.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Paul Solotshi the pseudonymous Satoshi? on: June 03, 2019, 09:05:03 AM
Well, it's possible but we can't deny the fact that no matter how many articles we read, we still got no assurance about the information that we're reading. It could be true but might also be a way to deceive us. There are still lots of things that we have to know about Paul Salotshi before we confirm and conclude that he's the real Satoshi.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Vote] Next coin to be added to Stake.com & Primedice on: June 03, 2019, 08:40:23 AM
I have voted for ripple and stellar not just because I'm holding some of it but because these two has a greater potential which could contribute to the development of Primedice and Stake. These two has a big impact if we'll use it for betting and gambling in best and trusted gambling sites like Stake and Primedice. It is actually great that Stake is considering to add more altcoins on their accepted cryptocurrency in their platform. That will there will be more currency to choose from which will be more convenient for other gamblers. This will be a smart move from the team, I hope they can add more major coins on their platform.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is a "Provably Fair" and How does it work? on: June 03, 2019, 06:59:05 AM
The problem with it is that people do not usually check if its actually provably fair or not because it can be quite complicated, various casinos were found to be cheating even though they were using provably fair systems, in theory.

I have to agree that not all gamblers use the system to check their bets. I'm not quite sure why but it seems something related to "trust", once gamblers trust the site then they wont really care about their bets no matter win or lose. The other reason could be about knowledge, maybe some gamblers does not even aware how provably fair system works so they do not care about it so their main idea is to gamble only without worrying about being cheated if they play on non provably fair sites.

I agree, even I sometimes do not verify my bet when gambling  Grin Not because I don't want to, maybe because of trust and sometimes it's tiring to check your bets from time to time. When I was new in gambling I don't really care about this as long as I am playing. Grin
1032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The similar chart of GOLD and BITCOIN on: June 03, 2019, 06:49:30 AM
The chart of gold that was shown was on a longer scope compared to the chart shown on bitcoin. They look similarly since bitcoin is volatile, the market price of it can go high in a faster pace. Well, let's hope this will be true since most are waiting for a historic event on the next halving. Many are expecting for another massive bull-run. Let's hope for another ATH.
1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bulls Near Exhaustion, Investors Should Be Wary on: June 03, 2019, 06:39:32 AM
It's almost a year before the next halving occur. This is what others are really waiting for. Take this correction as an ooportunity to accumulate some decent bitcoin at cheaper price. If you will base on the historic price it's normal for some correction after a bull-market. History repeats it self.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could someone tell me which part of the calculation I messed up? on: June 03, 2019, 06:32:46 AM
Gambling would not be fun if you will base your bet on mathematical equations. I prefer going with my luck when gambling, this makes it exciting and fun. If gambling can be defeated by equation mathematicians would have been rich by now and casinos won't be making that much money. Gambling is a game of chance.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 03, 2019, 06:28:57 AM
I pay for my monthly satellite TV subscription with a bank transfer and for some obscure reason I forgot to pay it this month. I was still watching the World cup Cricket tournament, when a message popped up, saying that my account was in the arrears and they blocked my viewing.

I immediately logged into my internet Banking and checked my payment history and realized that I skipped that payment for some reason, so I made the payment and thought I would wait for a hour or two and then resume viewing. Noooot!

8 HOURS passed, I phoned the company and they informed me that the payment is not reflected on their system yet, so I waited another 4 hours and phoned them again. <still Nothing>

A whole 21 hours later the payment went through and I could continue viewing, but the match I wanted to see was finished.  Angry

If I paid with Bitcoin, this same payment would have taken less than 20 minutes at most, but unfortunately this Satelite provider does not accept Bitcoin payment for this service.  Angry

This is so true, some transactions if made via bank would take a few hours or sometimes days before it reaches or finishes the transaction. Unlike if you will pay via bitcoin, you would be able to cut banking fees or unnecessary delays. The convenience of taking awayt hird party involvement in transactions made it faster and cheaper.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is a "Provably Fair" and How does it work? on: June 03, 2019, 05:53:18 AM
Most trusted gambling site use provably fair system, for players to verify each bet if it is rigged or not. Thank you for posting a complete and comprehensible definition of provably fair system in gambling. The links will be useful for gamblers to verify if a site uses the system in their platform. Thanks for sharing the links OP.
1037  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful question... on: June 03, 2019, 05:49:33 AM
Won't be shocked since Negiria had a bad reputation in regards to cryptocurrency scam. Paxful works almost the same as localbitcoin maybe that is why there are several Nigerian doing their transactions there. Just be careful when transacting p2p.
1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins removes face to face cash trades on: June 03, 2019, 03:14:53 AM
It seems that as cryptocurrency becomes main stream privacy is being attacked by regulations and the government. This news will affect a lot of people specially those who is dependent on localbitcoin when it comes to buying and selling btc. Most exchange platform now requires KYC and confidential information is not exclusive, I guess in time cryptocurrency as we know it will never be the same as regulation and adaptation takes place.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the timeline for daily usage of bitcoin? on: June 03, 2019, 02:06:04 AM
There seems very little news.
That's because they're probably focused on actually building software, rather than unnecessarily hyping things up like most projects do.

Anyway, you can follow Lightning Labs[1] and other lightning wallets on Twitter if you want to be updated.

[1] https://twitter.com/lightning

Correct, it is best for projects to be silent and focusing in updating and upgrading than making hype. It is useless making news and updates if it is nothing major. The links above might help you to get any news from lightning network.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Society (with ReligionlessFAITH) (You can still have other faiths) on: June 03, 2019, 01:56:49 AM
Wherever you go you will still be covered by the law, not unless you will set your self out of the whole society where no law or government can watch over you. You are already part of the crypto community since you are investing on it. So, I guess what you are dreaming of, avoiding tax, and collect fees from the community will never happen.
