F is for Family is really good but probably not going to have references to things that didnt happen in the 1970s. South Park could definitely have something about Bitcoin if they haven't already.
This bumpworthy site is really cool. I love Adult Swim bumps.

Carrying a smartphone is all that is really required. If people start carrying private keys on a chip you will see something like in a science fiction novel where criminals kill wealthy people to steal their microchip. Carrying around a private key that is not encrypted and password protected would not be a very good idea.

I still can't tell what is happening with LoMoCoin (LMC) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lomocoin/#marketsChinese company, traded on Chinese site Yuanbao and Bittrex. Only $6 million market cap but always $250,000 to $1 million traded volume in a day. Still not sure if this is just getting pumped randomly or people trying to accumulate coins. I bought a small amount and will hold in case this project ever gets traction. Unfortunately not a lot of news on the announcement page. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1609194.0

Dash is one of the biggest premine scams of all time and you are complaining about Litecoin? It must be nice to magically create a couple hundred million dollars out of thin air... So good job on Evan I guess. He got people to buy into his shitty scam coin and is now rich as fuck.

Damn, I have some money laying around on Paypal, would be really great to be able to buy BTC with it, instead of withdrawing it to Visa...
There isn't as much risk when BUYING bitcoin with paypal. (Unless the seller tells you to mark as a gift payment and you don't use escrow) Most of the risk is for the seller since the buyer can just do a chargeback and claim they never received goods they were promised. That is why most sellers charge a high fee unless the deal is with a buyer they know.

Getting more exposure to the Chinese market would be huge. I remember there was some talk last year regarding China and how there was very little information to people who didn't speak English.
Does anyone have numbers regarding user base by country? Im assuming Monero is mostly United States/ Europe right now.
Really love the community funding business model. Allow people to vote on what they think is best for the project.

Yeah honestly buy a few dollars worth of Verge every paycheck if thats all you can afford. This will probably at least double your money and at Im sure this coin hits $0.01 at some point which is 3x profit. Maybe eventually price is $0.10 which is 30x from right now. Some people are calling for $1 a coin but Im trying to be conservative. That would be in five or ten years IMO if the project is still going.

I had 500,000 XVG at one point but sold them when it spiked. I feel like the 100 to 150 satoshi is a fine price to buy and hold. I have some open orders trying to buy the dips.
But realistically we are currently at a $50 million market cap. I feel like it will be a little while before this moves up significantly.

Cherry picking individual parts of a bigger story/problem to make a company look bad.
Not really necessary at this point, honestly. Coinbase doesn't need any help to look bad right now. The company is literally falling apart. If you have coins here move them to another wallet or exchange NOW.

Ive heard a couple traders mention Skycoin recently, its currently up 65% Unfortunately I don't have an account on Cryptopia. I may need to start trading there because I've seen some new promising coins on the site. Some traders I know have made a killing on Cryptopia and Yobit investing early in new projects.

If the site will not give you the backup key to your 2FA, you could temporarily disable it, re-enable and make sure you have the backup code written down. Its probably a good idea to do this before you update your phone. The update shouldn't do anything to your apps (hopefully) but if you get locked out of your accounts it would be bad, obviously. I've been waiting 3 weeks with no response from Coinbase support because of losing access to my 2FA.

I would suggest picking a coin with a lower current market cap if you want 10x to 100x returns. Its going to be a little while before there is another coin that breaks the Billion dollar market cap unless a major coin drops off and another currency takes its place. A good project with a $10 million market cap or less could easily 10x or more though.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/icos-high-on-radar-of-us-sec-regulator-sourceI don't know that US regulators can actually do anything about ICOs and I'm not even sure I want them to. There is money to be made if you invest wisely, and if you lose your money you have no one to blame but yourself. A lot of stupid people are going to go broke in the next few years investing in ICO projects and, honestly, its going to be really funny.

You would need a lot to invest to profit from LTC daytrading since the margins are really small right now (coin is pretty stable at the moment) but I would not be surprised to hit the $40-50 range by the end of the year.
Its definitely worth owning some Litecoin as a long-term investment IMO.

We could also see a scenario where the Bitcoin scaling war causes a fork or loss of confidence in the coin, and money flows into other projects like Monero, Litecoin, ETC. One of these coins could easily double in an event like this, since people would be looking for a new standard for payments.

I really hope I am able to get access to my Coinbase account. Currently about 15 LTC sitting in my account, over 3 weeks with no response from support after changing my phone number... Not selling, this is a long term hold, but I don't trust those fucking shysters with keeping my money safe with all the issues they are having.
Remember when people thought LTC would never go above $5 again? They are going to be sad when it hits $50 and keeps going up the next few years.

Look for coins with low price that continually have small volume. This usually means someone is buying to pump at some point. It might not be for weeks or months or it might never happen... XVS Verge might be a decent investment at 24 satoshi current price. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1857156.0I see the dev is pretty active and they already created a Blackjack game, kind of impressive for a new coin. It might go somewhere and it got pumped a couple weeks ago so it will probably pump again at some point. Just remember that if someone is spamming a coin in the trollbox they are probably already dumping their coins.

In five years (maybe less) this ICO thing is going to be a wasteland.
are you sure about the years thing? more like five weeks or months. True. Its hard to judge because there hasn't been anything like this since the dotcom bubble in the 90's I believe it was about five or six years before everything started to fall apart (1994 to just after 2000 before a lot of big companies went bankrupt) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot-com_bubblelists the biggest gain and then drop from about 1998-2001 so only 3 or 4 years at its peak. "On March 10, 2000, the NASDAQ Composite peaked at 5,132.52, but fell 78% in the following 30 months"
