21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinrail Suffers Security Breach, Reportedly Loses $40 Million Worth of Crypto on: June 11, 2018, 12:46:05 PM
Apparently, the hacker(s) transferred the funds to IDEX, but the exchange collaborated with Coinrail and Pundi X and froze the account which deposited the tokens. South Korean authorities are already on the case, and we hope that the attackers will not be able to profit from the crypto assets they have stolen.
Isn't IDEX a decentralized exchange platform? How they managed to froze account even if that is of hacker? Decentralized exchange should mean the user will have full access to the tokens we have on exchange.

Looks like IDEX is not a true decentralized platform at all, they are saving our info  Huh Shocked

Good thing here is they have saved other user's fund but question above make sense, I think..
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans with your Altcoin? on: June 11, 2018, 12:41:32 PM
- I am buying more altcoins at current dip
- I think what I could make by holding altcoin bought at current price will be way higher than when holding bitcoin.
- Altcoin is risky but if you will only invest in potential coin than you can easily multiply your money
- Its best time to full your bag with coins because price of almost every coin is down right now.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Companies Ready for a Decentralized Future? on: June 07, 2018, 11:56:06 PM
Companies and banks are actually interested in decentralized blockchain tech to just decentralize their server not like making it transparent or anonymous like bitcoin. So what they are talking about is implementing blockchain tech to make secure and stable database.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What spaces can blockchain tech revolutionise in the future? on: June 07, 2018, 11:17:44 PM
There is no doubt that the blockchain tech will widely be used in finance sector and almost every other field where ledger/record has to be kept securely. Blockchain provides secure, transparent and decentralized data keeping option so every field can utilize this. There is no limitation as almost every field now a days depend upon tech, for tech database is major component.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: too much crypto coin market on: June 07, 2018, 09:28:21 PM
We can't remove coin that was created before even if they will turn into scam because its decentralize and we don't have central switch to pull it off.
What we can do is request coinmarketcap like listing services to pull out all scam coins even if they are traded on just few exchanges without any active development.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forecast on: June 06, 2018, 11:46:17 PM
Nobody can give you exact price prediction but most of us believe that bitcoin will be way higher than $10k by end of this year. Current bear market can't hold more as people have already started to buying back cheap coins and bitcoins so you can start investing in bitcoin or any altcoin of your choice before its too late.

If you will invest in bitcoin than you should be able to bear the possible loss and always remember you won't loss unless you will sell your coins out of panic during dump.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys agree on this statement? on: June 06, 2018, 11:33:40 PM
Most of us know that token prices don't react like usual market after listing, its a combination of manipulation and speculation. After ICO many coins start to spend millions on just advertising so that they can create demand on market (atleast make other think so) so that they can sell off all their holding on those buy orders.

Thousands of ICO have already turned out to be a scam or atleast spent all seed fund in world tour and ads without bringing anything that they have promised during ICO. I don't like to call it a bubble but you shouldn't heavily invest in tokens.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: June 06, 2018, 11:13:54 PM
Yes you can if you will join bounty program of different ICO but you have to wait for months for those token which might have different price than their ICO price when they will get listed. Also amount can vary from few dollar to few hundred dollar per ICO, however many people are joining bounty programs these days so what you will get now is way less than what you could few months back.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bounty hunters one of the cause of price dip of ICO? on: June 05, 2018, 08:34:00 PM
Yeah they are one of the dumper but usually bounty hunters only hold 1-2% of coin sold so they can't be the only reason for massive dump in price of ico tokens. Most of the pre-ico investors who have bought coins at heavy discount will dump their tokens because they can easily double their money just after ico. Also few members from the team might sell their portion to buy new car or roam around the world after a long busy work schedule during ICO. Wink
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: June 05, 2018, 08:27:15 PM
All coins were oversold before because of panic on the market which got worse after government ban crypto trading in few countries. Visa stopped providing bitcoin debit cards, china stand completely against bitcoin and India decided to not provide financial services to crypto trading platforms. This all is still creating fear on the market and people won't buy before it clears up.

Right now only small players are swinging price for quick buck and this is golden opportunity for day traders like me. Grin
Massive bull run is yet to come...
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency do you prefer to use to transact? on: June 05, 2018, 07:57:59 PM
For most of my transaction I use bitcoin but you can't invest in ico through bitcoin except in few that has their own wallet to accept multiple coin so I also have to use eth.

For gambling I still prefer ethereum for faster confirmation and obviously I hold many other altcoin as an investment.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 04, 2018, 08:00:50 PM
Most of us have same motive here to get involved with crypto that is making a lot of money being one of the first investor/adopter of future financial system. Slowly banks are moving towards blockchain based tech and it will be not a surprise when whole banking channel will be blockchain based while bitcoin being treated as digital gold with constant rise in price just like gold.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do Altcoins offer that Bitcoin does not? on: June 03, 2018, 02:49:23 PM
Bitcoin is still base currency for trading for most of the coins and it will always have advantage of being first crypto also it's founder is anonymous which add more credibility to the coin.

Basically many people think altcoins as just copy cat of bitcoin which used to be true before but these days most of the altcoins are just tokens based on either ETH or other smart contract platforms which is completely different type than true crypto.

Only few altcoins offer more than what bitcoin can.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: making payments through bitcoins. on: June 03, 2018, 02:40:36 PM
I think it is still impossible
Paying for VISA might come tricky but there are numerous airline ticketing agents that accept bitcoin for tickets both domestic and international. Have even seen few people arranging their whole accommodation through bitcoin in some of the youtube video but I don't think that will work right now because of wavecrest bitcoin debit card banned to non-eu countries. But if you are from EU zone than you can easily order a bitcoin card from wirex.
