Try to dump the privkey with the 'dumpprivkey "pubkey"' command. If you own the privkey, you own the asset.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blackcoin Protocol [BLK] | Home of PoS 3.0 | No ICO | No Pre-mine on: July 07, 2020, 06:25:07 PM
The core wallet has a memory leak, the linux version at least. It exists for a longer time, and consumes about 15-20 MByte for every block PoS minted. Would be nice to get it solved.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed Since 2014 on: July 02, 2020, 05:23:27 PM
On btc-alpha there are happening mysterious things: bbr, dash, zec are available again, but ltc vanished. Watching it, be careful. If anybody has information about it, tell please.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [announce] Namecoin - a distributed naming system based on Bitcoin on: July 02, 2020, 12:21:30 PM
i cannot see why the market price shall have any relevance, for me only the functionality has. This, i believe in this coin, and own it independant of the market price. And i like it because of no lying PR. The only thing is, that other technicians should know that this technology exist.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed Since 2014 on: June 25, 2020, 07:56:08 AM
It seems btc-alpha is delisting some coins, BBR is one of them. STEX is running, but with KYC only. Time to search for a new exchange.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: June 22, 2020, 07:36:52 AM
i have the daedalus wallet and want to withdraw from one address only. How can i realize this, i don't see a coin control feature? i even cannot see how to extract the private keys. Can anybody give me a hint?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - PROOF OF STAKE - ZEROCOIN on: June 14, 2020, 09:12:29 AM
since update to v4.1.1 i don't know how to PoS any more. Is it cold staking now? i want to stake myself. What do i have to enter into the fields? i prever to mint into the addresses they originate, and i have a lot of seperate addresses.

PIVX has 2 ways to stake now:
1. Hot Staking - Usual Proof of Stake method where you just have your coins in an online wallet, and unlock the wallet for staking-only.
2. Cold Staking - Where you can delegate the staking of your coins in the core wallet to another non-custodial core wallet that's online.

With either method, the block reward will be merged into the original UTXO that won the stake.
So it will "mint into the addresses they originate" regardless of which method you stake with.

Found it, thanks, and it's as simple as before.

29  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Ihr fragt Euch warum es keine Bitcoin ATMs in D gibt? on: June 09, 2020, 06:05:47 PM

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blowing the lid off the CryptoNote/Bytecoin scam (with the exception of Monero) on: June 07, 2020, 04:18:51 PM
Bytecoin surely has a shady premine and should be avoided. Monero is the king of cryptonight without a doubt but there are some new cryptonight coins that looks promising. Electroneum is another coin that making some buzz. It has been here for a good time and their mobile mining simulation helped bring a lot of new users to crypto market. And they are now getting some rise in price as well.

Yes, Electroneum makes a buzz, because it makes no sense:

Regulation drives mass adoption

Experiencing the transformational benefits of cryptocurrency in the real world is only possible if governments and corporations embrace it. We’re proud to say that ETN was the first cryptocurrency to embrace KYC and AML verification.

As society likes google and microsoft and apple and amazon and collecting bonus points, they can make Electroneum really successful.

I miss a linux wallet, do they have some desktop wallets?

@dingle

i tried your description and compiled hbn successfully on ubuntu 18.04.4, thank you. Without the GUI yet, but the server CLI is more important to me. Can free the resources of my old 14.04 ubuntu systems now, need them for testing 20.04.

ps: need a donation address from you

Hobo does not need to be compiled. Re-allocate the energy and time you lent to compiling a coin into a useful activity. It is a matter of truthful truth that u dont even know Linux. Perchance u learned a small bunch of commands to aid urself with installing software when software center refuses to open. Im fain that u did that but seemingly that is where ur skills end. U are a mole which gropes in the blind while darkness only gets denser.

You are very right, i admire your attention. What is your useful activity, for cryptocoins in general, and hobonickels in particular?

You are doing badly, do you need a donation too?

40k hbn sent to you, thanks again. The qt compilation i will test later.

Common Sense.  Hold your coins.  Don't reinvent the banking system.

Also you get paid to maintain a sync'd wallet.
Unlike any POW chain you can mine and earn POT coins.

Proof of stake baby! Grin

PoS is inflation, and this there is nothing to earn, but to preserve.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: May 24, 2020, 10:43:07 PM
Nobody is able to stop pumps and dumps, they are an active part of the whole crypto eco-system regardless of which coin or token is being discussed.
...

From the view of the greedy theft-economy, the neoclassic I-economy, that makes promise you could get from rags-to-riches, you are right. This is the only economy you "humans" know, and it is an obviously real existent economy, everbody can see in this world who has his eyes open. (this economy uses credit, for example, or thinks in hierarchies, it predicts and speculates)

Even a single person could stop pumps and dumps in the long run, without intellectual properties, without aggression, and confined in a dungeon. But he has no chance, because thefts will kill him simply, as they did with Jesus, Gandhi or wild animals or plants. Even wild animals could stop pump and dumps, because they are relative intelligent in comparison to "human intelligence".

Apes are playing in another sustainable You-economy, and they could gain all your money, if you would not kill them. And this economy is also true, and it WILL happen again, because it's sustainable. Nuclear weapons are NOT for defense of humans, they are for defense of nature. Not a single real human person could use them. But inhuman persons WILL use them like robots, it's simply natural rules.

Devs of all coins should accustom the appreciators on good news on a doom and bad news on a boom. This greedy reality does it the other way round and escalates market prices.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [announce] Namecoin - a distributed naming system based on Bitcoin on: May 22, 2020, 07:30:26 AM
FreeBitcoins.com is syncing Namecoin right now and we intend on listing NMC on our "XChange".

We should be rocking and rolling by the end of the week I'd imagine... assuming she syncs decently!

*tips hat at domob*

Has FreeBitcoins.com disposable deposit addresses?

In general, don't use wallets where you cannot dump the private keys. The danger is similar to web wallets, deposit only dust into them.
