21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't the point of bitcoin to take contol of our own currency? on: October 04, 2018, 02:07:20 PM
Regulation of the crypto market by the governments of various nations is the ongoing event these days. BUt more regulation means more control and interference by the government into the system. So this decentralized system tends to loose its operational autonomy when more n more people poke their noses in this business.

P.S.: The community would resent more control and definitely there would be a problem.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: October 04, 2018, 01:54:11 PM
Absolutely, there's no time bad to invest in something good. Q4 seems to bring some good news for the community. There are anticipations in the market, for bitcoin to touch the milestone of $20,000. I think this is far fetched looking at the current state of market. But the next year it is going to be 10 years for bitcoin and hopefully it again sets a new trend and the maarket turns green like it was before!
23  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin tax value on: October 04, 2018, 01:13:25 PM
Bitcoin taxation has been discussed a number of times on this forum and now it has become very clear that you cannot evade bitcoin taxation when imposed on by the law makers of your nations.

You cannot totally evade from the rules and regulations set by the authorities. If you're to derive income by any form, be it capital gain or other source, you have to pay a portion of it to the government of your nation.

And if the government of your country is really supportive as in case of Japan, then you cannot run off from your duty towards the nation.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far bitcoin can progress in the financial world without legal acceptance on: October 04, 2018, 12:53:52 PM
Legalization is an important issue these days. Legalization of the crypto currency market is very essential because then only it will be able to be accepted globally. Universal  acceptance of this digital market will enable the investors worldwide to make more out of it. Right now there are many countries where there are controversies ongoing relating to bitcoin, that is in turn effecting the prices of the crypto coins. In India, as we know lately Zebpay the premier crypto exchange has  shut down and this is the result of deliberations by RBI stating banning of crypto related transactions. So in such kind of environment how can one expect digital economy to flourish?!?
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 04, 2018, 12:45:48 PM
See Ii don't think there's any harm in thinking of becoming rich and side by side patronizing and trying to bring on the innovations in the crypto space. When you  have set you goals crystal clear and are not confused between what you want and how can you achieve that, then your life will become hustle-free and trust me you'll be able to achieve your goals much more effectively and efficiently. Bringing on a revolution is not a cup of tea for everyone and is also not an overnight phenomenon. But if you follow what you have got set for you with full dedication, then you can bring change for sure!!
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin will be the safest investment on: October 04, 2018, 11:57:32 AM
The bitcoin is considered as safest investment and has been in the good books in the members of the crypto community. Crypto market has been trending these days, and people are using bitcoin the most because investors have been able to reap most out of using the bitcoin as an investment. But the fact is safety of investment. There are many crypto wallets and exchanges that are safe for the investors. Also crypto investors find it safe because of its growth rates. And the regulations in various countries have made it possible fot people to invest their faith in the market.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think by ending of this year on: October 04, 2018, 11:41:05 AM
By the end of any year, it is very common to see the bitcoin talk forum to be flooded with such kind of threads asking about the future anticipations of the market prices. Technical analysis reports and various market researches also show that the price of the bitcoin is going to show a steep rise in the coming year because it's gonna be now ten years that bitcoin has come in existence. Right now market is moving at a very slump rate. But you never know what the coming future has got in store for you to come.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices remain the same until next year, will it be good for the crypt on: October 04, 2018, 11:36:46 AM
Whatever the price of the bitcoin is, it is going to have a bearing on the crypto market. And there are many anticipations for the price of the bitcoin may rise the next year. But of course I don't think the price of the bitcoin is going to stabilize or fix at one place. It is going to fluctuate over a period of time. And fixation of the bitcoin price is not going to do any good to anybody, so there's no point in discussing this thing at all.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees in the future in correlation to BTC Price? on: October 03, 2018, 03:06:15 PM
When fees is to quantified in correlation to the the bitcoin price, that'd be good. Because actually then the payment of fees would be justified. Otherwise the fees is apparently way too high. But still the transactions are going on at the same pace. But with the advent of advanced and far better lightning network, it is expected that the transaction fees would be reduced. And it being proportional to the amount of transaction would also be ok!
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Epic Journey of BTC on: October 03, 2018, 02:54:05 PM
Exactly a year ago, Bitcoin is only valued at around $4,100. From this fact alone, we can conclude that we have not really went down too low. On the overall, the price is still around $2,000 more today as compared to the same day last year. In fact, in the next three days after reaching $4,100, it even went $1,000 lower, reaching around $3,100.

Therefore, we are still gaining. I don't understand why people are in panic mode when we are definitely higher than the price a year ago.
This is not how all the people in the bitcoin community evaluate the market. Actually when people draw out the state of the market they would not consider this long history of the bitcoin and make out a conclusion. people will watch put the performance of bitcoin when the market was green and then, they will compare it with the current position. So of course they will feel disgusted about the market. But what they fail to understand is market cannot be always as per their expectations. Where there is risk, there will  be return for sure.
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Many cryptocurrency exchanges are vulnerable to breaches. on: October 03, 2018, 02:41:57 PM
ICO Scams have become quite common these days. So the members of the crypto community have to double safe about their funds so that their funds are not lost in such stupid and fraudulent scams. These scams owe their origin to lack of regulations and rules in various countries. There are many countries where crypto market is not being regulated. So it has become really important for the investors to be double secure for their investment.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Miners are alive If BTC reach to $3000 ? And Is it possible ? on: October 03, 2018, 11:24:03 AM
Yes. Miners are basically aimed at increasing satoshi count and are not that much related to the dollar count which is the reason why miners have been able to make their way out of the recent years. Moreover decrease in price also means loss of anticipation in the new emerging miners which could mean increase in the share in the mining pool.

Moreover as per the current scenario on TA it doesn't quite look like we are going towards 3k. Infact, TA is showing signs of some bullish reversal on the TA.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: October 03, 2018, 08:26:28 AM
I do agree with this fact that Bitcoin is a means of an investment, it is a sort of digital asset. It cannot be precisely called a currency unless it gets the status of a global currency. But the time is quite far fetched because not all the countries are ready to give open acceptance to the crypto currency market. There are many controversies to its legalization. So it is better off to call it as a source of investment rather than currency or anything else. And as for the investment it is a very lucrative source of investment. Bitcoin is truly the crypto king.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: October 03, 2018, 08:16:55 AM
Looking at such unproductive threads on this forum is really very disgusting and I really feel pity on such community members who panic out and create disrupting conditions on this forum. The price of the crypto coins is very volatile and tends to flicker very frequently. It goes from 0 to 100 in seconds. This is an important market trait of this field. So I really don't get it as to why people create FUD and media further adds to this. This is a serious issue. Panic selling is a stupid thing. One must not always expect the market to be green. You've to be prepared for the worst here as well.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How twitter affects the price of Bitcoin on: October 03, 2018, 07:29:16 AM
Well, yes of course, all sorts of social media have an impact on the crypto currency market and twitter has been playing a major role in advertising for ICOs and crypto community has so much in contact with this social media platform. So if a small media FUD has the power of effecting the market, then social media platforms are far more impactful and prove to be quite strong in effecting market prices.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: October 03, 2018, 07:12:41 AM
A friend I introduced to Bitcoin, phoned me today asking why China banned Bitcoin. He quoted a article in his local news paper, who quoted Bloomberg : https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-09-04/china-central-bank-says-initial-coin-offerings-are-illegal

The mainstream media has no f#$%^ clue what the difference between ICO's and Bitcoin is. Anyone can create a fancy webpage and a few PDF's with information on their ICO offering and then sell tokens for it.

Initial coin offering (ICO) is an unregulated means of crowdfunding via the use of cryptocurrency. The term is often confused with 'token sale' or crowdsale, which refers to a method of selling participation in an economy, giving investors access to the features of a particular project starting at a later date.

Please phone your local newspapers and explain the difference to them, because ICO's are not Bitcoin!

People will do anything to sell a few extra news papers or to receive a few extra clicks on their websites, even if they publish total rubbish. They should research a subject before they publish garbage like this.

It just shows you how unreliable information can be that are being published in the media. This might even be done on purpose. ^grrrrrrrr^

Edit : Latest garbage from Bloomberg : https://www.bloomberg.com/gadfly/articles/2017-09-06/seventy-eight-billion-reasons-why-bitcoin-s-the-new-gold  < 100% biased and Bullshit >
This confusion remained for quite a long time in the bitcoin community and then I was really surprised that what are the members of community really doing...Like don't they really know the difference between ICO and bitcoin. Or are they just listening to rumors and not researching at all by themselves.

Anyways not to dig deeper into this conversation, lets just see what was the imoact of China banning ICOs. According to me and what I collected from my research, this ban really went in vain, and proved very ineffective bearing no positive results what CHinese economists might have thought.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: October 03, 2018, 07:04:20 AM
Even I do feel, it has become a trend nowadays. People especially the newbies in the community have made it a common thing to compare these altcoins and bitcoin. ETH is one of the best running altcoins these days but there is no need to draw out any kind of comparisons between these coins. Both have their separate position in the crypto currency market and accordingly one outshines the other in opinion of the community. Actually bitcoin has been in the highlights for so long and investors have reaped most out of it. But obviously you should have diversified investment portfolio, so you cannot entirely depend upon bitcoin only. Then there are these altcoins like ETH which can become a part of yopur investment portfolio.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: September 27, 2018, 04:02:31 PM
There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Some people even went as far as borrowing money or even using their properties as collaterals to borrow money so as to invest into crypto. This is a wrong idea and it might cost you a lot.
Every investment has its risks. So consider the the risk involved by taking each step at a time and do not jump in once.
That is wise enough to have your money invested in different or precisely saying diversified portfolios. That is a smart strategy. Obviously on who will lput his entire earnings into one thing, then there is a greater risk. And that is the only reason why everyone tries to divide their savings. No doubt bitcoin is a goodd option, but taking too much risk on part of bitcoin is not advisable.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market is down. on: September 27, 2018, 03:41:32 PM
UGHhhh!!

Bitcoin market is not stabilizing and the forum is full of such kind of posts only. All I get to see here is these same kind of threads now. Nothing new happening and no informative topic being discussed here. That's way too pathetic now.

Bitcoin market is down but there are other ways here to work, like bounties and campaigns that might keep you engrossed up. HODL is just the right strategy for this state of the market!
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: September 27, 2018, 03:30:45 PM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.
Bitcoin absolutely is a digital currency, but calling it digital gold won't be wrong on certain grounds. Because gold is an asset and bitcoin is also our virtual asset. It is a source of lucrative investment. But of course there is more stability in price of gold as and when compared to  bitcoin. There are fluctuations but not to that extent as in the cryptocurrency market. Anyways this digital market is now much more trending and has left behind any other source of investment.
