202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: April 12, 2018, 09:17:27 AM
Well you are 99% true anyway so the best thing is to avoid airdrops especially if you already have higher rank in bitcointalk account, which means you can participate in campaigns with way more pay than airdrops. I just realized my wallet has been flooded with shitcoins because of participating in airdrops which only so few are legit and has enough vlaue.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge - Hold or dump ? on: April 11, 2018, 12:56:15 AM
Hi,

I have some Dogecoins. I read it hit 2 billion market cap. I am a newbie . a friend suggested that i dump it and buy reddcoin.

experts please suggest.
Theres no active development in doge for the past 2years? is there any reason why we should hold it for long?

That's true, and I just realized it about a month ago and started dumping my doges and change coins to hold. Better choose to invest in active coins or with those higher market cap for sure profit.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: April 09, 2018, 07:17:33 AM
Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?

If I have that much money only, it would be wise to invest in cheap but promising coins, probably on the top list in coinmarketcap like ripple or ada. But considering the amount, maybe you have to hold your coins for 5 years or more to get a pretty sum of money from your $50 investment.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nice jump by BTC today! on: April 09, 2018, 06:25:30 AM
Unfortunately, no matter how much people tell people not to panic, it never helps. There are many confirmations to this forum

There are really different type of people in this society. Some have to guts to hold their coins and watch it slowly devalue up to 50% losses. But to some, however you convince them, they are just afraid and just sell away at slight dip in prices. But we can't really blame them though, we don't know where they get their money from or they might need it right away.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green market on: April 09, 2018, 03:36:34 AM
Hey guys, i want to know your opinin about - if there will be again dump and when is the best time to buy altcoins now?

Bitcoin has reached about $20k last year and now it has dropped to less than $7k. If you are going to look at it and see in the future, this is still a very good price to invest while apparently the price is so down. Yes the prices for now are still struggling, but the year is still too long, and when December comes who knows how much btc an altcoins would increase.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: April 09, 2018, 03:32:34 AM
I hate to admit it because the first income I got from this forum is from and airdrop, but sad to say that is the current status of the airdrops. Im not sure what they can get from you in letting you participate in their airdrops and then they give you nothing. Some even asks for donations so you could get your free airdrops, see, free airdrop.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you track ico's ? on: April 09, 2018, 03:29:53 AM
I know ico review sites but they do not contain all of the icos. Some of low profile icos made huge success. I never knew they exist till their ico ends in minutes. Where to find those icos?

For the moment I am looking and watching out for ICOs in ann thread in bitcointalk, facebook, twitter and other social media. But I usually prefer those I can find on social media because mostly can afford to advertise, so I think they have enough budget for the project and not just some ICO trying to launch and  then fail.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we at the Anger stage rite now? on: April 05, 2018, 08:31:46 AM
Are we at the "Anger" stage right now?
i looked at the 4 hour chart of BTC and it looks pretty similar to the wall st's "psychology of a market cycle" diagram. Seems like we are in the anger stage now. Not sure how true this will turn out but its definitely a pretty interesting piece of comparison in my opinion.

I think you can really say that. If you look at the market chart of bitcoin, last December 2017, when the price was at its peak, it could be a perfect state of Euphoria, and then when it started going down, with bits of rebound, you can say we are in anger state, and maybe the price will start to climb then.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: April 05, 2018, 08:04:27 AM
Yeah I think its really stupid to sell your bitcoins currently because the price is really low compared to last December 2017. But if you got your bitcoin from earning from bounties and you need it, then its not really a problem. Unless you bought your bitcoin and then sell it at the moment, now that's stupid, just wait till the price is up.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suicide due to losses due to investment in virtual currency on: April 05, 2018, 07:59:05 AM
Well to some people money is really life. There had been many suicide events in investment schemes, but mostly it would have to very huge amounts of money involved. That kid committing suicide could have invested so much (maybe even loaning huge amount of money) that's why he was really depressed when the market dropped. Most common lesson here is not to invest what you cant afford to lose.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: April 05, 2018, 07:50:05 AM
Actually, when bitcoin hit about $18k last year, that was the time when more people are aware that such thing exist because it was in the news and a lot have been curious about what its was. So 20018 could be a new start-up for cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin. Im still worried about the current dip though, but I think prices will still rise and give fortune to those who are patient.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 02:50:42 AM
Maybe for the moment there is no bank yet ready to accept bitcoin. Some countries even close your account if they found out that the source of your funds came from cryptocurrency. Im not really sure why they hate crypto this much that will do anything to shut it. I just hope these banks will find a way to adapt crypto instead of fighting it.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not know which ICO is good to follow ? on: April 01, 2018, 02:39:29 AM
This market is new. Is there a way to identify a potential ICO for me to invest in it? Many times I see ICO scam I only smile at the time wasted without profit. It's hard

I have been in this half a year and the selection of ICO to follow for me still too hard and blurry. I have tried all the tips given that I have read, like reading the top list of ICO, reading feedbacks, and even looking at social media ICO advestising, but still I can't seem to hit a successful one while some friends I know luckily invested in some ICO. Right now Im still looking for ways to determine at least higher percentage of successful ICO.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need to diversify? on: April 01, 2018, 02:34:44 AM
Why do we need to diversify our holdings? why we just all in in one coin to have a one time bigtime profit.

This is just depending on what you are ready for. If you want a lower risk of loss, then to diversify is a great way to invest. But take note that your coins may not all get a higher value at the end, so the profit will not be as big as focusing on less coins. If you invest all-in in one coins (provided its a promising coin) and it hits high you'll rich instantly. But make sure to invest in stable coins if you do that.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: April 01, 2018, 02:28:48 AM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

It really depends on how you can afford and let it standby for a long time. Do not invest money in which you might need because you might be needing your money and then the price is down (like currently), you'll be in a loss. Do it like your saving for the future, in that case you will not worry even if the prices drop.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: April 01, 2018, 02:25:46 AM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?

I should have kept buying but my resources are dry because  I was already buying during the 2nd to 3rd week of the dip and I though I am already buying a very cheap price. For the moment I am still looking for capital to buy more and hoping to gain profit more than double of the current price.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: April 01, 2018, 02:18:37 AM
Well let them do as they please. Anyway this will only make the prices drop even more and a very big chance for the faithful to buy more cheap coins. Eventually when the prices are back or even more, those who sold their coins will start all over again, while those who hold will get a fortune from these dip.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge going down, time to sell? on: April 01, 2018, 02:15:25 AM
Why is verge going down and wonder if I should sell my coins?

You know everybody will disagree with you selling coins at these current dip. But its your decision, maybe you got your coins for free so there is really no loss for whatever price your coins be sold. But if you paid for those, make sure you can till get your capital, if not just wait until the prices are stable again.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: April 01, 2018, 02:12:50 AM
Hi everybody,
Lately I am reading a lot of posts asking: is this airdrop a scam? Is that free ICO a scam?
So I am wondering how can something that doesn't cost you a penny be a scam. Sure, they get your email adress and maybe a ETH Adress, but how can you  really be scamed with only this informations? I am not talking about airdrops that require kyc registration, that for sure can be dangerous.
Cheers,

Yes, you could still be scammed even when its free. Its just that so many does not really care about it because there is nothing really to lose with that information only. Maybe some ad mails will be sent to you but its not really that much of a problem. The only problem is that your eth address would be hacked through these information only, but that case seems to be rare.
