201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency promoting your enrichment, soon available on: June 05, 2020, 01:54:20 PM
The "covid-19" health crisis will create a global economic recession in a few months.
We are going to have to change the way we manage and use our money.

We must act now to create a token capable of promoting the enrichment of each person using this cryptocurrency.

Take part in its development without any money and collect your first coins.

In 100 days the first tokens will be issued and the project put online. I will communicate all the information through my facebook account.

I think this is another scamming message.  We have heard a lot about coronacoin, where developers eventually vanished.  Likewise some have said they wanted to do charity and donation all in the name of the ongoing pandemic.
We have cryptocurrencies that can enrich us already.  If any other project want to come into play, let it be on another ground, but not in the name of this pandemic again, at least for now.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever got it wrong? on: June 04, 2020, 07:40:08 PM
I have come to a conclusion that we might need to reflect on the past at times to set the future right. What brought about this conclusion?
I have had so many negative experiences in some things in life which cryptocurrency is inclusive. I kept asking myself why? but there was no answer to that until I finally found the energy to reflect on my past history involving those things which cryptocurrency is one of them. Reflecting on the past helped me to traced my wrong steps which eventually was corrected and results began to roll in. To put an end to that negative experience, maybe you just need to reflect on the past. In case you are on average, you can still reflect on the past to be above average.

I don't think there is anyone without a mistake or past in life to reflect on in life.  If some of these pasts are not there, then we wouldn't have had some lessons to handle the future.  Some pasts I had in crypto trading has thought me and got me improved today.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giving away too much quantities of tokens in bounties on: June 04, 2020, 06:59:11 PM
I've seen one or two bounty campaigns on here with massive token allocations for bounty participants, I'm wondering how this won't affect the value of the token, I believe giving away too many quantities of tokens can easily ruin the value of the token, most especially bounties that are doing 4 Rounds of campaigns, what's your take on this???

Anyway, this might be true to some extent, especially when the project is not good.  Much supply at times affect the price because of the dumpers, but the fault is not only that of the hunters.  Some projects run airdrops, huge ICO or IEO bonus, huge allocation of tokens reserved for the team and so on.  If the supply of a token is really much, that amount that you think is large for the hunters might be around 2-5% of the total supply.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: June 04, 2020, 05:13:39 PM
This is for all newbies and those who don't know, please share among friends

Every single telegram channels or groups of crypto exchanges are tagged by scammers, be extremely careful

The moment you have a problem with an exchange you will instantly get messages from people claiming to be team of the exchange, you can get the following messages

1. How can we help you?
2. What problem are you facing on our exchange?

They will pretend to be the exchange help service and they will ask you to make deposit to get your issue resolved, honestly if you aren't familiar with scammers you can easily fall victim

Group channel of exchanges like binance, kucoin, Okex, huobi are full of scammers waiting for people that needs the team help to resolve an issue, be wise

Exactly, there are just many of them in different telegram groups.  They find their way into exchange telegrams to scam innocent people having one or two challenges.  I have experienced many of them sending me unsolicited messages.  But if you look at their telegram name very well, you will see a little difference from that of the real admin.  Just watch out for any one that pm you first, real admin will not pm you first, it's very rear.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token dump that follow the airdrops and bounties on: June 01, 2020, 07:35:19 AM
I want to talk about a subject seldom addressed, it is the token dump that follow the airdrops and bounties.

Most ICOs and projects are not aware of this, but seasoned bounty managers and bounty hunters know this very well. The ICO price will get hammered once the airdrop & bounty are distributed.  Of course how much will depend on several factors: - Quantity of tokens given to bounty hunters and through airdrops - Demand price and capacity.  But it is not surprising that the people that got the token for "free" sell them for as low as 1/10th the ICO price.  token dump is the unwanted consequence of airdrops & bounties....  The lack of patient and self knowledge regarding the potential of tokens can result to massive dump and it damage the holding system of pros because they need to adjust as long as they can.I think all this dumpers are children and not experienced airdrop or bounty hunters. There is away to avoid dump.

Anyway, points supporting your observations or report are not completely true.  Though, there is nothing that can be done to prevent dump totally but there are various measures to mitigate and keep dump at check.  It is not all hunters or airdrop recipients that dump their tokens.  I have gotten many tokens from airdrops and bounties which I'm still holding till today when I see the prospects in them.

Let me tell you one of the reasons why people dump at time.  Unfaithfulness or failure to keep to distribution or listing promises on the side of the project team.  When team begin to postpone their promises of reward distribution or listing several times, it becomes unbearable and people tend to lose trust in them.  As a result of this lost of trust, hunters, airdrop recipients and even the investors will be looking for any slightest opportunity to dump such token or coin.  If team keep to their promises, put in place some measures, I believe dumping immediately after listing will be greatly mitigated.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do anybody know if there is a Best Crypto Project that Failed? on: May 31, 2020, 12:40:03 PM
Does Anybody know a crypto project that is really great but failed to materialize? I'd like to see one in your comment.

Well, I know of Multiversum.  It is a huge crypto project that attracted the attention of many investors back then in 2018/2019.  I did a lot of hard work before I could get little amount of that token hoping that I'm in money already when it is listed on exchange.  Unfortunately, the team was misled or given wrong advice.  The project failed to reach exchange eventually and it has became a decorative coin in my wallet now.
207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of recovery seed/private keys on: May 31, 2020, 11:29:18 AM
Every crypto wallets requires the internet but they are of different types, we have online wallets, offline wallets and mobile wallets, I will like to share information about bad wallets that newbies need to stop using right now

Just imagine if your phone get stolen or lost how will you recover your coins or tokens? The fact is on some wallets you will easily recover your coins, but on others you won't be able to

Online wallets are very bad, stay away from them, they give users no access to private keys, they work like centralized exchanges where you have no control of your keys, here are example of such wallets, if you are using them please stop

1. Xapo wallet
2. Bitcoin.com wallet
3. Freewallet
Etc

Any wallet that failed to give you recovery seed or phrases and private key aren't safe

Any wallet that someone does not have independent control over is not to be considered as a store of value.  I prefer using offline or hard wallets anyway because if online wallet are not properly secured time to time, then they are prone to different attacks, that's why we are adviced not leave our coins/tokens on the exchange wallet.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any of holding these coins? on: May 30, 2020, 07:28:31 AM
Hi ,I'm just seeking for information from people about these following projects,
1. Sero
2. Veil
3. LCC (LitecoinCash )
4. Apollo Currency

I'm holding bags of these coins but its rare hearing from people on here about these coins, I hardly hear anything about them, what do you guys think?

I participated in Veil bounty last year and I got some VEIL tokens.  However, I have sold 90% of the ones I got when I was in financial urgent need.  It's a token I would have preferred holding because of its good prospect.  In the other hand, I lost some Apollo currency I had with my wallet address, currently participating in their new airdrop, probably I can get some Apollo for holding.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check your eth wallet address for some token valuation on: May 29, 2020, 01:15:06 PM
For some reason hunters forgot their useless tokens from bounty and dont have idea anymore if their bounty tokens have some value. If you leave your wallet for quite sometime the easiest way to know this is to check your address on these two sites.

https://etherscan.io

https://ethplorer.io

The purposes of these sites are not only to see transactions but with the latest update and upgrade, we can see valuation of tokens under erc20 network that have been listed on coinmarketcap. You dont need to visit each channel or social media for update by simply looking on these sites you will know if your tokens from bounty have value.

Very good one.  Honestly I have forgotten some decorative tokens in my imtoken.  Recently I was just checking through them to see if I will see any that will fetch me some amount, fortunately I did.  Immediately I told a friend to do the same. When he gathered those coins together, especially from long ago airdrops he was able to realise some amount of dollars.  I'm not just used to visiting telegrams and other projects social media for update. It's good to check for updates anyway and this is another helpful way.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: May 29, 2020, 08:06:36 AM
Many Bounty Hunters Are Increasing Daily On A Regular Basis Thereby Causing Many Hunters Feels Reluctant Of Paticipating In Nowaday Bounties Because Of Low And Unappreciated Rewards. Campaigns Managed By Bounty Detective Seems To Be Stressful Because Of Its Long Duration Of 12 Weeks And At The End Hunters Still Getting Poor Rewards Of $5, Lol. 😂

I Have Observed So Many Times That Article And Video Campaigns Have Less Participants While Hunters Feels It's Much Stressful And Brainstorming. Bounty Hunting Is All About Sacrificing Time, Energy, Data And Electricity. Now For You To Be A Good Hunter With High Rewards, You Have To Participate In Article And Video Campaigns Only, For Lower Ranks On Forum And Sometimes Signature Campaigns For Higher Ranks, Meanwhile Participating In Social Media Campaigns Gives Less Reward Because Of Many Participants. Try This And You Gonna Appreciate Me.

It's a very good point made.  One of the challenges is that, even real and paying bounties are very minute nowadays not talk of high paying one.  I am also working on trying out articles and YouTube campaigns, but I need to target very sure and confirm bounty that will pay at the end of the day.  Besides those two, signature of full member rank and above and translation are also good for serious bounties.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: May 28, 2020, 07:00:54 AM
Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.

The fact is that, there is a level of trust within oneself on a project being managed by an high rank member of the forum, with the believe that a full member would have more experience in getting more reliable project than a member and so on.  However, from some things we have seen with these projects, it's not always like that.  There has been many projects managed by hero/legendary members that have ended up in flops, though that might not be their faults, and we've seen some projects managed by a member or even a newbie and it turned out to be good at the end of the day.  We should not always depend on the forum rank of the BM, but we should do our own little findings too before joining any project.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: May 28, 2020, 06:42:38 AM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
What kind of coin that you have bought it with your ethereum? i guess you have trapped at the bullish trend. It looks like you have been buying at the peak price and then it gets dumped instantly by the whale.

You should tell me us what coin.
The name of the coin is switch ( ESH ), a friend told me how good the project is and I invested all my ethereum thinking the price will increase more but later it dumped

Sorry about the price dump, that's how it works in crypto, instability.  The coin may not be bad anyway, it might just require you to wait or hold for some time when it's price improve until you get a little return or you are able to recover your money.  Besides, it's not always good to put one's egg in one basket.  Next time you don't just invest all your assets in just one project.  Try and spread your risks by investing in at least more than one.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 27, 2020, 06:59:17 PM
I am well aware of coins with controlled inflation like BTC, where a finite number of coins will be generated at a controlled rate. Very recently I came across deflationary tokens where coins are destroyed whenever a transaction is made and they will end at some time.
My question is what is the purpose of creating such coins? Are they worthy enough to be invested ?

The advent of deflationary tokens was thought to be a very novel idea that will bring fresh innovation to the crypto industry.  It was created with the aim of reducing supply when some amounts of tokens are burnt on every transaction.  The developers thought this will create a scarcity in the market thereby resulting in increase in the price of the token.  However, this idea have not been successful as several deflationary tokens were dead today.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highly disappointed about Olportal on: May 27, 2020, 04:09:16 PM
My post today is about Olportal project, see I don't know whats wrong with new projects today, they always create useless hypes to decieved the public, Olportal said they are going coinall and okex, they use this on their website and bounty Ann page but after bounty is over they start saying listing on Okex is not easy as everyone thought, instead they list on Coinsbit....

Well I did not participate in Olportal project but I have a very close friend that did.  He really had a lot of expectations on it since the day he started promoting them, unfortunately the project turn out to be disappointing to him.
About the hype of the new project.  Hardly will you see a new project today being successful.  Many of them are full of lies, scam, unrealistic promises and so on.  Participants of Olportal just have to be patient, at least they've listed on Coinsbit, it might also be listed on your desired exchanges in the future.

Sorry to say buddy, but I'm just tired of some shit and time wasting projects out there, and this looks exactly like one of them.  The concept doesn't really make some sense to me.  This is not a way of discouraging you anyway, just to voice out personal opinion. No hard feelings buddy!!!
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: May 24, 2020, 08:18:29 AM
World Top Tech-giant Company Samsung has introduced the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S20 Smartphone, which will have a built-in crypto wallet.
It can be used to manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, other ERC20 tokens and TRON (TRX).

Source: https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/samsung-galaxy-s20-will-support-btc-eth-trx/

This is a pleasant news to the crypto world, though this can only be reliable when it is actually implemented.  But for this tech giant at least to give crypto recognition, then it is a boost to the crypto industry and we expect more recognition also from other tech giants too.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 promising blockchain projects of 2020 - an article by Bmag.io on: May 23, 2020, 09:47:08 AM
This article got delivered to my inbox today morning by Bmag.io. I usually don't look at altcoin projects but the article seems quite interesting. They have listed 5 blockchain projects that are worth taking a look,

1. Zelwin
2. Cryptwerk
3. ECOSC
4. CryptoCompare
5. Stox

While I don't vouch for these projects but I am definitely going to take a look.

Ref: https://bmag.io/2020/04/13/5-promising-blockchain-startups-in-2020/

What do you think about these projects? Will they be able to survive this economic situation?

Any way, I don't really know about these altcoins except Stox and Stox has not really convinced me like that since I've been studying it for about 2 years ago.  I will also take some time to check other three if it's worthy investing in them.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of bounty projects that end in a scam or void bounty agreement on: May 22, 2020, 12:47:04 PM
It's totally useless if we just keep creating list of scam bounties rather than sharing tips and idea on how to recognize one. It won't be bad if you can help list some bounties with potentials.

Well, several tips on how to identity scam related projects have been provided on this forum if you have been following such topics.
In another development, the list of scam projects are inexhaustible. Sincerely I cannot even remember the names of some projects I participated in that later turn out to be scam: ethereumbasic, multiversum, datablockchain and so on just to mention few.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: May 21, 2020, 02:08:41 PM
These opportunities for altcoin by addon and include part of everything, that very good. And can make the new flagship on blockchain technology.

Honestly I'm still trying to figure out what you're trying to say.  But from your topic, I don't know the exact or names of altcoins you're saying to the moon.  Because from the situation of market presently, to the best of my knowledge, there hasn't been any altcoin going to the sky let alone moon.  Let's just be optimistic that things will improve as we want and the market will smile at us.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser: Now users can earn Basic Attention Token (BAT) for viewing ads on: May 21, 2020, 10:18:15 AM

Brave Browser’s reward program is now live for the users who will view ads. Now the users will be rewarded in the form of Basic Attention Token (BAT).

On 8th March Brave Ads Developer, Channel Preview advances from phase one to phase two. Phase two provides users the feature to view Brave ads and earn token in the form of BAT and claim that token at the end of every month.

I have not really tried this out anyway, but if it is genuine then it's going to be a good deal.  I have met some disappointment viewing ads on some platforms that at the end of the day it amounts to waste of time and other resources. I will check it out properly to see how true it is.
