201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many whitepapers have you read thoroughly and carefully? on: April 03, 2018, 12:59:13 PM
Before investing in any projects, do you research their team information and read the whitepaper carefully? Or will you get a basic knowledge of the financial condition of the company?

Before engaging in any project, I always see to it that I read the whitepaper.  This is the only way to understand the proposed project and to analyze its feasibility. Afterwards, I made a background check on the developers. I understand how boring it is but as an investor, it is an attitude that we must overcome.

Many investors fall into scam project because they do not have patience to read the white paper.  So, it is better to carefully read the whitepaper to avoid falling from scam project.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: April 03, 2018, 02:20:29 AM

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.
I think now is the great time to invest money in bitcoin and other altcoin because the value are too low. Currently the value of bitcoin dump at almost 6,500 USD and now its recover to 7,000 USD. While ether now is less than 400 USD and for me now is the ideal time to invest with those coin.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2018, 02:04:33 AM
I love bitcoin because its the crypto currency and its the king of the crypto.
It hasa lot of use cases.
I can exchange it to any other crypto.

Why do you love Bitcoin?
Why are you interested?

I love bitcoin because its give an opportunity to me to earn decent money in decent way. Also bitcoin now is serve as one of my income source. True that bitcoin is giving chance to me to gain some money through participating in different signature campaign and invest money with it.

The interesting in bitcoin is it will never ends and the price of it is unpredictable and expectable.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC AND ETH FLUCTUATION on: April 03, 2018, 02:00:36 AM
That true that bitcoin and ether price fluctuation have a big effect in the market cap and it give worry to the holder of this two coin. But the good side of price dump of this two coin is giving chance to everyone to buy in cheapest price.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is unstoppable? on: April 03, 2018, 01:33:29 AM
Bitcoin is unstoppable. Despite it’s also volatile, Bitcoin uses different technologies and it makes cryptocurrencies diversified in way you can’t kill one because two new grow back!

Bitcoin unstoppable because investor are still believed on it and some country are starting to accept the fact that bitcoin is one of the good investment in the future. Community also are continuously supporting on it. Bitcoin value in the market cap is unpredictable even it experience ups and down of price value in the market.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: April 03, 2018, 01:13:00 AM
Nowadays bitcoin is one of the major currency in digital world, because of that bitcoin is considered now as a form of money. Everything that used in different form of payment transaction is considered as money. Since the function of bitcoin now is used in different way and forms of payment in digital transaction it is considered now as money.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millenials on: March 28, 2018, 02:07:24 AM
Are Millennials are the most invested age group in crypto?

There is no data tools that measure the age of investors in crypto market.  So, we cannot get the accurate numbers and determine whether the most investors are millennial.  This is  because once you join in crypto, it maintain your animosity.   Maybe some of millenials invested in bitcoin and other crypto but  there are also people even not millenial who are investing in crypto specially those professional investors and traders.

The good thing about crypto is it requires no age requirement.  It is open to everyone who are willing to invest regardless of your status, gender and age.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: March 28, 2018, 01:54:38 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
I think that is not a good idea.  In any investment field, whether it is stock, business or cryptocurrency, you should put in mind that there will be no 100% assurance that it will succeed or gain profit from it.  There will always be two results, earn or lost.  This is the reason why there is a saying reminding us "do not invest money you cannot afford to loss".

If you put all your money in bitcoin, it is good for you if your investment will earn instantly due to bitcoin value increase but what if you encounter dumping of price after you invest then you gain losses? How will you recover if there is nothing left on you?  My advice is just invest a part of your money in bitcoin.  Always remember that bitcoin is volatile in nature.  It always has a tendency to  pump and dump anytime.
209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is for long term investment on: March 27, 2018, 07:36:09 AM
If you want to have a short return of investment then not invest on bitcoin. Bitcoin is so volatile that even it increase and decrease in second. Most people complains about their loss on the price drop, I got loss too, but you will be broke when you sell it on a low price. If  people would be patient to wait a bit more then all would be good. Who else make millions on just a week ? None. Im saying this not just to promote holding but also encourage all those crypto users be patient and be calm on the price drop. Youre still not loss until you sell it on low price. Hold it for a while, if you are weary and try investing on others like ICOs until you almost forget it and go back when it pumps again. Nobody know when would it be increased but it would. Be strong people.
You nailed it!  Many people thinks that once they buy bitcoin it automatically means they will earn money.  They forget its volatility nature that it has a tendency to dump and pump anytime.  Bitcoin can give you opportunity to earn money and this is absolutely true but I guess this is only applicable to those investors who completely understand the bitcoin volatility nature and has a long patience to wait until it pump up again.  In short bitcoin is not suitable for impatient people and emotionally people.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or sell ? on: March 27, 2018, 07:21:04 AM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
I do not think it is good idea to sell your cryptos because it suffers from continuous dropping of price and buy when its value pumps up.  If you sell your cryptos while its value is low it automatically means you accept your crypto losses.  When you buy cryptos when its value pump again then its price is much higher compared to the value when you sell it which mean another lost in your part.  Instead of being carried away by your emotion,  try to have more patience.  As what the saying said "Patience is a virtue".  Have patience and wait until the value pump up again and when that time happen, you can freely sell your crypto possession equals: you gain back what you have lost during red days and start to earn cryptos when it continue to pump up.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: March 27, 2018, 07:08:02 AM
I understand that some investors here has a specific target percentage prior to selling their crypto possession.  But in my case, I do not sell my cryptos because of a specific percentage or when its value depreciated.  I only sell my crypto possession when needed arise but as long as I can hold my crypto, I keep it.  This is because I believe that crypto specifically bitcoin has a great potential in the future.  I also believe that this is the currency of future so, the more crypto I possess, the more brighter the future awaits for me and my love ones.  It is just a matter of faith on what you believe in.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 06:20:11 AM
Right now I love bitcoin from 2106 till now and currently I'm in college but by playing bitcoin I can make a lot of money what should I do? I prefer to play bitcoin instead of college. I also realize that bitcoin will not last forever therefore I want to take advantage when bitcoin still exists.
Bitcoin and pursuing your college degree are two different matters but might lead to the same end - bright future.  I understand how bitcoin changes your life but you should put in mind that even a person posses lot of money, still educational attainment is a requirement in this competitive world.  Currently, I am also student and at the same time, I earned bitcoin/altcoin through joining bounty/signature campaigns as my source of income to support my daily needs.  I  love what I am doing in cyptoworld but I always see to it that I balance my time doing by school obligation and meet my bounty campaign requirements.  It is just about proper time management and prioritization. I know that you can manage school and bitcoin at the same time.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: March 27, 2018, 04:08:10 AM
I first got bitcoin from withdrawing from gambling sites.  I deposited with another method but could withdraw bitcoin so i did it.  Around that time bitcoin was around $220 usd or so and when i got it, i would then trade it for poker funds from other person etc because I didn't want to hold the bitcoins due to reading about price fluctuations.  However, isn't the value of bitcoin almost always going to go up so its best to hold it?  I know last year it was $600 and the highest was when it was more than $1000 per bitcoin.  But since it is all the way down to $200-$300, isn't having bitcoin always good?  Could bitcoin go all the way to 0 soon?  I had thought hey if you get bitcoin when its $230 when the price stayed like that for a long time, thats great b/c very hard for it to go below $200 because i haven't seen that.  But even if it does, isn't it almost always going to rebound and go back up?  Last time i had btc and it was $230 or so and now it went up to $260.  So if you have say 100 bitcoins... well... thats a nice $3000 profit or so.

I'm sure there are ppl that have thousands or bitcoins right and just hold on to it?  And many that would sell btc immediately if prices go all the way up?  If someone had say 500 bitcoin... then btc price went up $20 in say a week or so... selling it would net them $10000 minus fees right?  However if they sell it via localbitcoins or other method, they are going to get a higher profit right?  However if they do this, say sold all their 500 btc... then once bitcoin later in the year go up another $50... well that would be $25000 less they would have earned.

In general, isn't holding BTC always a good thing since the price of it is pretty low now?  Obviously if you bought btc at $600 or $1000 and thought it would went up and held on to your btc, that would been a disaster.  But since its in the $200-$300 range, isn't having BTC always good?

There is a saying that warns people "to only invest money that they can afford to lost" and this  is also applicable in bitcoin.  With its volatile nature, nobody can say how high or low it can reach.  Many people invest in bitcoin only for the sake of earnings they can get when its value pump high just like what happened last year but there are also some people who invest in bitcoin because they believe it its features and its vital role in the future.  Those people who engage in bitcoins are players who engage in bitcoin for short time investment purpose. Meaning, if the bitcoin value is low, they start buying then, when the bitcoin pump up, they start withdrawing while some people under this category also withdraw their bitcoin possessions when the crypto currency start to fluctuate in the market.

On the other hand, those bitcoiner who falls on the second category just keep buying bitcoin for long time investment.  Those are the bitcoiners who do not care about the bitcoin price in the market today because what matter most for them is the bitcoin price in the future.  With the presence of this kind of bitcoiners, it is impossible to turn the price of bitcoin into zero.  Maybe, bitcoin price will depreciate but not to extent that it will turn into zero.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: March 27, 2018, 03:24:54 AM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
I understand what you feel but the best thing to do right now is to keep holding.  Just look in the bigger picture, if you will sell your altcoin possession now when its value is very low, then, how will you recover your losses?  On the other hand, if you keep holding your altcoin then you still have the chance to gain back what you have lost when its value pump again.  So, do not panic.  Take a deep breath.  If you do not want to be depressed with the current situation of your altcoins I advise you to forget monitoring your altcon price for a month or two.  Afterwards, you can check it again and you will surprise how your altcoin value recovers.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO project should I choose? on: March 26, 2018, 06:47:40 AM
Hello everybody! Hope you are doing well. The second month I have been thinking of investing money in ICO project. Do you think it is a good idea or I should just continue trading cryptocurrencies? What is the main keys what I have to look on? I am making research by finding ICO projects on rating agencies and ICO listings. What should I also look on?  Thank you in advance for your answers.
Since you have been in trading, joining an ICO is easy for you.  You should put in mind that there are many ICOs available in the market so you should be careful in choosing which ICO would you invest in.  With the presence of many scam ICO, choosing legitimate ICO became a challenge to investors.  I think you already made a right move upon researching agencies and ICO listing.  After that, the next move you must do is to  have lot of patience in reading the whitepaper of different ICOs you find, analyze the project and weigh the potential acceptance in the market.  You should also find time to check the background of the developers.  The concept must be a tool to addressed the needs of many people and will help to ease their daily living on a fast paced world.  If you find
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: March 26, 2018, 06:22:41 AM
Here is lot of iCO. How i find legit ICO.
There are lot of ICO sprouting nowadays.  Some are legitimate while other is just a scam.  So, the best way to determine whether an ICO is legitimate one through reading the whitepaper, tracing the milestone and the checking the developers.  The formula to avoid scam is through carefully analyzing the project concept so, you should find time to read and analyze the ICO.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you look at the potential of the project or its price? on: March 26, 2018, 05:39:32 AM
This is my opinion only and you are free to comment and give your own opinion

I have noticed that many investors are buying during ICO but not because of long term or they want the project. They immediately sell their coin/token when the price triple or even 400% gain and find another ICO again. This is one reason why  the price of coin/token drop or sometimes below ICO. They do not think about its use in the future and it is possible that the value is higher.

#Datarius

I agree with your opinion.  I guess this is the reason why some tokens dump its value.  This is because investors are investing not because they really want to support the project/ token but they are just investing because they are looking for the possible income they get if they invest on it. So, every time the coin reach their target value, they immediately sell their tokens, get their earnings and find another ICO to invest in.   This is a dilemma that should be addressed.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos will die without new participants! on: March 26, 2018, 05:27:06 AM
Let’s face it buying and selling cryptos is scary for most people.
Big investors are sitting on the sideline scratching their heads and not prepared to make a commitment.
This industry is in Limbo and can’t find a path!
Exceptional projects will succeed and to be honest it’s hard to find one.
Many projects that have made promises will never deliver: The promoters are just living their lives with the ICO capital. You can think you own a coin that is good but maybe the promoters are just feeding everyone BS.

I think everybody here in crypto worl already know the risk of investing in crypto currency.   It is not just like a regular job that after you render your service you have a definite income.  Here, you have the chance to earn, but there are also time that you encountered losses.  But why people is still taking that "risk" in crypto market?  Simply because of the possible income they can get from it that is much greater than their income from regular job.   With crypto currency volatile in nature, we are all aware that the cryptocurrency is not always in green days.  There are times we suffer from red days as what we encountered for the past weeks and months.  But upon tracing back the history of cryptos specifically bitcoin, even how low its price dump, it always recover.  So, there is no point to become pessimist.  Instead, you should understand deeply what the nature of cryptocurrency is.  So, you can be more confident about investing in cryptos and ICOs.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: March 26, 2018, 04:38:45 AM
There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.
You nailed it. I am in favor with your recommendations.  I think you should also add to your list that the ICOs fails because it has no originality or the concept was already encountered by the investors before. Additionally, it does not addressed the current needs of the people. Lastly, the team/developers do not have enough experience in launching ICOs .
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: March 25, 2018, 01:11:04 PM
Up to now, this year is very bad for crypto investors. Everybody hopes a uptrend soon. But no one can say when it happen exactly. Some people say in april, it will start and go to peak in june and decline in august again. Some says gradual increase will happen from april to year end. Some people already converted all coins to usdt and hope further decline may be to 5k -6k. Very difficult to guess. But bitcoin will not dead. We can say it without any doubt.

What do you think about this? Will we see the downtrend continuously?
I think everybody relate with your observation and all of us are hoping that crypto market will recover soon.  The bad side is, the only thing we can do is to predict time and extending our hope that crypto surpass the red days but in reality , we are just guessing without any basis.

The good thing about this is even how long crypto suffer from red days, still many investors keep holding their cryptos because they have the confidence that sooner or later, bitcoin and other altcoin will pump up again.  Even we all know that dumping crypto price is part of the whole picture, still there are part of ourselves worrying about the lost we experienced.  We cannot also judge those investors who rather chose to convert their cryptos in USdt because they are afraid for the possibilities of continuous dumping of price on the coming days and weeks.

Personally, I still believe that bitcoin and other altcoin price will pump again in the future.  And by then, we will forget our loneliness and lost during red days and we will celebrate for the bounty earnings as the product of our patience and trust in bitcoin features.
