Netherlands seem like a team that have made big progress in time now. They have a nice potential in the World Cup. Maybe they wouldn't be the winner of the title at the end but they would still have a successful run. European teams might be seen as bigger favourites for the title too but this time I expect Argentina and Brazil both to be very competitive. One of them has the potential of making it to the final match. That one is likely to be Brazil for me.

It is like the striker options for Bayern Munich are narrowing down day by day. If they don't have a Plan B for a possible departure of Lewandowski then they can have some problems to deal with after. They don't even seem like they will lose Lewandowski this summer but anyway. Because Lewandowski still wants to leave and leans towards joining Barcelona also. Bayern Munich's main goal is to keep him for this season at least. They know that they can't extend his contract after that season.

Paul Pogba is expected to sign for Juventus tomorrow. Di Maria also was expected to sign today as far as I know but he still hasn't. I think there won't be any problems with both of these deals for Juventus. These ones are important for Juventus to gather more strength too. They needed this especially in the midfield. Their weakness in that field has always been the reason of the struggles for them. Juventus need to be reborn now to fight for the title again.

Chelsea are advancing their talks with Manchester City now for signing Sterling. They have been after him for a long time and it looks like it is going to be a happy ending for them too. Sterling would be a wonderful player to sign for Chelsea as they would have a stronger attacking side. They need a striker too but they still have money to be able to afford a striker and Sterling both. Sterling has been an important player for Manchester City but this deal still can happen for around £50m.
Its been long Chelsea have been trying to sign raheem sterling but i don't think they are really serious about their signings, check the likes of Liverpool and Manchester city that how a serious team sign a player. Chelsea are yet to sign any player currently and thats bad for the club, the season is drawing closer and its going  to be a whole different and tough season so they need to be prepared. They fail to sign dembele, raphina, kounde, neymar as rumoured, now they are talking about Ronaldo too. Its useless talking about lots of players without signing anyone.

This is the nature of transfer windows I'm afraid. There will always be rumours about many teams to sign many players and it is really difficult to differentiate the real one from fakes sometimes. I don't think that the Sterling deal is fake first of all. They must be waiting for some news to finish this deal. Because many reliable sources have shared the probability of this deal as high too. Their interest in Raphinha, Kounde and Ronaldo is also real actually but I feel like at least two of these won't be signed by them.

Maybe I can understand Nicolas Pepe but I don't understand why Arsenal want to send Bernd Leno also from the team now. If it isn't the decision the player himself of course I don't see any meaning in doing this. Because when Ramsdale gets injured for a long time etc. whom will they trust, right? There are young goalkeepers also in the team of course but they aren't going to have an experienced goalkeeper like Leno to trust more. Yes maybe Leno's performance has dropped compared to the past but he can still be a part of this team.

This season in F1 has been really fun so far. With the new cars things have started to change significantly for some teams. Mercedes have got behind Red Bull and Ferrari a lot and they are still like that now. Ferrari must have the biggest horsepower among the cars in the grid now however Red Bull still manage to finish ahead of them. There have been some issues for both teams but Red Bull are doing better when it comes to making decisions that are important for the championship. Ferrari have failed people about that these days and I will be waiting for if they will do that again in the Austria Grand Prix this weekend.

Tottenham's chance of winning the Premier League title doesn't seem too high for new season honestly. Conte has really made a good impact on the team that's obvious and they can be more successful also next season. However I think that this team are still not as capable as taking Manchester City and Liverpool both down in the standings. Maybe they can do that to Chelsea but I don't expect more than that. Tottenham still need time to get closer to the front row.

It looks like there is going to be no such deal as Cristiano Ronaldo to Bayern Munich anymore. Because Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn indicated one more time that they aren't thinking of Ronaldo to sign. He says that Ronaldo doesn't fit into their philosophy now. This must clarify this situation from now on. In case Lewandowski leaves the team they would go for another striker rather than Ronaldo then. Some people talk about they are thinking of Mane there but I don't think so.

Sebastian Haller was already being rumoured with Dortmund for some time and the deal has finally ended successfully. The transfer fee seems to be €31m which is very favourable. Dortmund actually signed Adeyemi too and I thought that he was brought to fill Haaland's place in the team. But maybe they thought of an experienced striker for this place and Haller was a great choice for that. He is having his most productive years as a striker and I believe he will continue from where he left.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 06, 2022, 07:33:31 PM
When Ronaldo joined Manchester United, many said he would retire from the Manchester United team after 2 or 3 years. But now I hear a lot of rumors that Ronaldo is no longer interested in staying with the United team. And Manchester coach Ten Hag will not object to selling Ronaldo. However, I do not see any possibility of seeing Ronaldo in Barcelona. My guess is that Barcelona will be more interested in Lewandowski than Ronaldo now.

He ''missed'' the training again as far as I have heard. He is just pretexting as the real reason is that he wants to leave the team as soon as possible. I actually heard that Erik ten Hag didn't want Ronaldo to leave but it doesn't matter now as it seems. Manchester United must be just hoping for him not to find a suitable team for himself. But it is going to be really hard for a player like Ronaldo while there is a big period of time until the end of the transfer window.

Manchester City are really the biggest favourite for the PL title next season also. They are continuing to consolidate the team more in this summer. Signing players like Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips could be just the beginning for them. They don't need to sign many players though but they are just trying to have strong alternatives in the team. Signing Erling Haaland is really sensational and this can have a really huge impact in the coming season. I think he won't have big problems about adapting here.

Pochettino is a good coach normally. He didn't manage Tottenham badly in the end. He just needs to find the right team for himself. PSG had big targets like winning the Champions League and he couldn't help them achieve it unfortunately. Maybe he could do a much greater job if he goes to a team that are similar to Tottenham in terms of strength and targets. PSG just want to try every option to reach their target at the end. This kind of a squad should be able to achieve the biggest success they can.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 05, 2022, 08:10:23 PM
I don't see any La Liga team being rumoured with Cristiano Ronaldo right now. I'm saying this taking Transfermarkt website into account too. However I recently saw another rumour on another website that Barcelona might have an interest in him. I don't think this is real because Barcelona are only after Lewandowski when it comes to a striker transfer. I don't relate Ronaldo to them much too. If it was Real Madrid then it would be more convincing to me.

Bayern Munich are interested in Juventus defender de Ligt as it seems. The news says that Juventus' demand for him is around €80m now. We have heard about Chelsea to be interested in him for a long time but Bayern Munich's joining the race can change many things. I think de Ligt would prefer a move to Bayern Munich rather than Chelsea if these teams make the same offer. Maybe the Premier League could be an attracting factor but I think he would still choose Bayern Munich.

The news say that PSG are going to announce their new manager, Christophe Galtier, in two days. It was obvious on the last days that he was going to be the new manager. I'm still doubtful about him here but I hope he proves me wrong about him. He was successful at Lille as he won the Ligue 1 championship. But PSG are a way different team for him. Normally we should be seeing a more experienced and successful name here but we will see. PSG want a Champions League title now and we will see if Galtier will manage to do this.

Cristiano indeed rumored had a transfer request and those clubs above are the one that watching the situation thoroughly , he could simply join chelsea but it would hurt the manchester united fans so yeah for me it's unlikely for cristiano to join rivals like chelsea.

PSG might be more reasonable as they are trying to build a dream team where cristiano and messi can play side by side.

I've heard about Ronaldo's talks with Chelsea too. I must admit that I'm a little bit surprised about that at the same time. Because for now I can't imagine Ronaldo at Chelsea for some reason. It feels like his style doesn't match Chelsea's in my opinion but maybe I'll be wrong about this in case this deal is completed successfully. Ronaldo is like he could join any decent team in the Champions League now. But being transferred by a rival club in the same league would be really disappointing for the fans as you said.

You know Eddie Nketiah? He is a centre-forward who can also operate on both flanks where he had plenty of chances last season to feature. He will probably be a challenger for G. Jesus this season for a place especially Eddie Nketiah who is still quite young. He is 23 years old, but last season did not go smoothly for him as he was only able to score 5 goals in 21 appearances in the Premier League.

I agree that in this case Jesus will probably be Arteta's first choice in every match Arsenal will play in the 2022-2023 season. Jesus has had a great season at Manchester City, but now it's just a matter of how Arteta treats him at Arsenal.

When it comes to Eddie Nketiah I'm not very hopeful about his next season now honestly. It is the truth that he is a skilled player but he lacks finishing skills a lot. And now with Gabriel Jesus' arrival, things can get even more difficult for Nketiah. It is a challenge for him too on the other hand and maybe this can push him to play stronger. All in all I think that Gabriel Jesus is going to be the player who has the biggest playing time in the team in that position.

Sainz had a really lucky day. If he wasn't called by Ferrari after SC, he would most probably finish the race out of top three. But interestingly Ferrari pit crew decided to call him rather than the leader, Leclerc. I would be really disappointed and frustrated if I were in Leclerc's place. He was so close to winning the race this time but it was like the same thing he experienced in the Monaco GP happened. This result must be still good for Verstappen as Leclerc finished the race at the fourth position.

I don't think that Chelsea will be targeting Neymar to sign for real now. They have bigger priorities rather than splurging on Neymar at the moment. Maybe they have a huge transfer budget to spend now but it wouldn't be too smart for them to spend the majority of it for only Neymar. I don't expect to see Neymar's demands at a low level too. He is already making a lot of money and he would prefer continuing like that. I think Neymar will stay where he is.
