I think that it is the end for USA. I don't think that they can deal with Netherlands' effective game in this round. It was even a surprise for me to see USA qualifying from their group. I know that they have good players in their squad but the general quality is not good enough to reach further stages. They just need to show an extraordinary team performance to surprise us.
It is the same for Australia. They have a very little chance against Argentina. They even barely qualified for this round as they had a big difficulty in defeating Denmark. It is still an achievement for them of course but Argentina are not Denmark. They will face a much fiercer opponent. Argentina are doing just fine thanks to their attacking strength. They pulled themselves together after the shocking Saudi Arabia loss. They should be getting past Australia nicely.

I'm excited about Celtics' performance in this season as well. Because they have made a really solid start to the regular season. They are the leader in the Eastern Conference currently and their performance is really promising for playoffs too. They must be aiming to finish the incomplete job they had in the finals of the previous season.
This time Warriors don't seem very impressive but we are still in the earlier stages of the season as well. Curry is still showing a high level of performance as usual. They just need to be better as a team. Their recent form is good actually. They need to keep this up to secure a stronger position.

I think finalizing his problems with Manchester United will be helpful for Ronaldo to focus on his game at Portugal now. Besides his performing strongly can help him find a nice team for himself quicker than before as well. I know that a legend like Ronaldo doesn't need to prove anything. But he couldn't play properly in the Premier League for a long time. There is a drop in his performance as a result.
If he shows a solid performance in the World Cup it would be advantageous for him. Besides it is his last World Cup as well so he would do his best.

Betis have a quite big odd in their Sevilla match like 2.20. Sevilla are doing really bad in the league this season and Betis are one of the contenders for top 4. I don't think that Sevilla have much chance in this match. Betis couldn't defeat Sevilla home in the league for 4 years. Maybe this is one of the factors why Betis' odd is this much high now.
However I still expect Betis to win this match. Sevilla still have a long way to go before winning this kind of tough matches.

I really don't know what team in the league can stop Napoli indeed. Even Milan couldn't do it in San Siro. Napoli are performing amazingly in big matches as well I mean. It really deserves the appreciation that they are like this in the Serie A and Champions League both.
Of course I don't expect them to finish the season without a loss. But until getting that loss maybe the point gap might be quite big with their closest rival in the standings. There has been a very long time since Napoli won the Serie A championship. They can achieve it finally this season.

Next time the lead might change hands in the standings. Because there are matches like Roma - Napoli and Atalanta - Lazio. In case Atalanta win and Napoli lose, the new leader would be Atalanta. However it is really not easy to see this. Even though Roma are in a pretty impressive shape and they are playing home, Napoli are still a huge threat to them with their form. You must be remembering the Milan - Napoli match which Napoli defeated their opponent. Maybe they can do the same to Roma also unless Roma become very careful.
It isn't easy for Atalanta to win either. Lazio are one of the strongest teams of the recent weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends in a draw.

I don't expect Barcelona players to be mentally weaker against Real Madrid in the El Clasico. Because it really feels like they are looking at the La Liga and Champions League differently these days. It can be simply understood by observing their performance in both tournaments. There is a significant difference about their defensive performance especially.
Real Madrid should be prepared for anything in this match as they must be remembering what happened here in the previous season. I don't fully believe in any side to win this match as it is very difficult to predict. Because it doesn't matter the match is played in Bernabeu or Camp Nou. We can understand this from the recent results between them also. I just want to add both teams to score to my betslip and stay safer.

It's a big joy to watch Lazio in the recent times. They are still unstoppable as they have raised their winning streak to four matches. After seeing the odds of the Fiorentina match I thought that something was wrong with that and I didn't want to bet on Lazio. It felt like this was the match they would lose points by a draw.
But Fiorentina were too incapable of even finding the target (only 3 out of 24 shots). I mean Lazio also had 6 shots on target but they were very skilled in finishing 4 of them with goals. This incredible form is promising for top 4 for now. But it is early to be sure of anything of course.

Arsenal - Liverpool is yet to come in one day. Arsenal are slightly the favourite team of this match. However they should still play very carefully as it is one of the biggest matches of the season. Even though Liverpool are defensively problematic their offense is quite strong on one hand. Taking this into account, Arsenal should try to keep the match under control and give as less chances as possible to their opponent.
Liverpool seemed solid against Rangers but it was normal. It wasn't a difficult match for them. If they show a similar performance to the one in the Brighton match then Arsenal can win here.

Rashford is still an important player for Manchester United. Because his performance in this season so far has been quite good. If he maintains a solid form then they would be unwilling to sell him to any other team. He is still very young and can be beneficial for the team very much. As Ronaldo is likely to leave the team in the future also, they will need to keep Rashford in the team. As long as they don't find a stronger alternative Rashford would be their first choice in that case.
PSG have been after him indeed. Maybe they are thinking of replacing Neymar with him in the future or he will be Neymar's substitute for some time at first. The reason why I think like this is that Neymar was rumoured to leave the team in the previous transfer window as you know. Who knows maybe this rumour might get real later.

Sevilla - Atletico Madrid is the most interesting match of the week in my opinion.
Sevilla are having a terrible season now. They need to start a winning streak immediately to pull themselves together. But making this happen against Atletico Madrid is a very difficult task to do. Because Atletico Madrid are playing much better than them recently. Despite losing to Real Madrid their performance was still impressive until a point. They can play an effective game against this vulnerable Sevilla even easier. But I expect to see a controlled game from them at first if Sevilla start with an attacking focused game plan. They'd like to benefit from the spaces in Sevilla defense.
I think Atletico Madrid won't lose this but it might end in a draw rather than their getting a win.

It is indeed not very likely for Mbappe to leave the team until the end of his current contract. He is earning much more money than the closest player to him. PSG offered a dream contract to him and he accepted it quickly of course. Real Madrid would most probably be his next team but I don't think that they will make such offer in the near future. They are also a rich team but his contract conditions are still too much. But if they don't plan to make many transfers in a transfer window then they would be ready to spend significant amount of their budget.

We see this kind of teams making surprising starts but the most important thing is to be consistent of course. Udinese might not be able to maintain a great performance for a very long time. Especially if the big teams in the league start to control the top positions Udinese's job will be much harder to fight for top 4. Even if they somehow fight for the sixth position for a spot in the Europa Conference League it would be a big success for them. Because they finished the previous season at the 12th position.

Arsenal are going to have their second biggest match against Tottenham next week. Their match against Manchester United didn't end well for them. This time they are playing in Emirates which they could use as an advantage. Tottenham are not so different than them these days. Especially after that huge win against Leicester their morale has increased very much.
It is really hard to choose a side to win here but Arsenal are technically the closer one. They need to prove themselves by winning in big matches also. If they continue to lose points in this kind of matches then it is very difficult for them to be a part of the title race.

Bayern Munich has proven once more how bad they need a complete forward like Lewandowski. They still continue to lose points in the Bundesliga because of not being productive. Being unable to score against even a team like Augsburg is indicating a huge problem for them. Mane is a great transfer but he shouldn't be their striker choice. Mane should play on the wing just as it was at Liverpool. Maybe it is difficult but they had better do their best to sign Kane. He is the most logical player to be brought to the team now to solve the scoring issues.

It is too difficult to be so sure of anything about the Atletico Madrid - Real Madrid match. Yes, Real Madrid had a great start by 5 wins in 5 matches. However they haven't faced one of the biggest teams of the league yet. Atletico Madrid is going to be their first test. Simeone must be knowing how to deal with them the best in this one. They didn't lose here last season and they can have a similar result again. But they need to be strong in defense to wear out their opponent above all else. While Real Madrid have a very quick player like Vinicius Jr the defenders have an important job to defend him.
Atletico Madrid would try to score the first goal and they would play a very defensive game after that to keep the score. It is the usual tactic for them against big teams. We will see if Real Madrid prevent this from happening after having a wonderful form in the La Liga and Champions League both. I thought of betting on both teams to score but I'm still not sure about it. It depends on Atletico Madrid especially.

It is very interesting that there are only three matches to be postponed now. The reason for Brighton - C. Palace is different of course but the other two is because of mourning. However I wonder why the others aren't postponed due to this reason. I assume that the decision about the rest of the matches wouldn't change from now on. At least for the two matches tonight I mean.
Aston Villa might have a chance to win after a break of four weeks without a win. Southampton are a challenging team to beat for them now. However they beat Southampton 4-0 in their last match here also. We don't have the same Aston Villa maybe but they might still win here again by a closer gap this time. Fulham's job is also difficult against Nottingham. They will need Mitrovic's help again to increase their chance to win as he has been in-form by scoring in nearly every match so far. However I feel like Nottingham won't lose this and they might even get a win after having the same break with Aston Villa. Both teams to score might be a nice option for this one.

It was a really interesting day in the Champions League. Barcelona were the better side especially in the first half but the second half was way different. Bayern Munich made the score 2-0 in only four minutes. I still don't understand how Barcelona couldn't score even one goal despite having so many goal opportunities. Lewandowski was so ineffective this time and I wonder if it was related to playing against his old team. I had big hopes about Barcelona after making a progress under Xavi's management. Let's see if they will have their revenge in Camp Nou.
