202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can old people use bitcoin? on: March 26, 2023, 04:34:09 AM
Ohoho, it's going to be a big challenge for the crypto adoption to be accepted by boomers. Even the great Warren Buffet is still nonchalant about this. Not many old people can accept that the world is changing. because that means they need to learn and adapt again, and it takes great effort to do that. However, there's always a group of old people who still have a young spirit, are adaptable, and have high curiosity. If they have a strong will, they can also utilize the technology. They just need to increase their technological literacy and familiarity with financial systems. As crypto enthusiasts, then it would be our task to help those who want to learn by preparing the easiest way for them to do so. Don't forget to include all the basic fundamentals (including basic digital literacy skills, as well as more targeted information on how to securely store and manage cryptocurrency assets, the potential risks and vulnerabilities that older individuals may face when using cryptocurrency, such as scams or fraud, and so on).
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we return the stolen wallet? on: March 26, 2023, 04:11:23 AM
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you'll get multiple profits to compensate for your loss, and someday you can just let it go and forgive. So, maybe you can share more specific details of how your wallet got hacked so we all (including yourself) can also learn to be more careful with our wallets. My assumption is that the hacker probably already got your private keys, and in this case, there's no way to secure them anymore. All you've got to do is just throw it away and never fill it again with any valuable coins or tokens, or better yet, just forget about the wallet. If they hold your private keys, that means they hold your wallet, and there's no way we can change the private keys just like we change our passwords to re-secure our wallet because they're irrevocable. Make sure to learn how you can secure your next wallet so this won't happen again. Cheers, mate.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: March 26, 2023, 03:57:59 AM
Hmm, it seems I have a different understanding of this; I'll recheck later. So based on my experience, before altcoins soar high, it's always bitcoin's price that increases first, and then most people's attention will be fixed on bitcoin and trading volume will be increasing significantly. This will increase the bitcoin dominance score and make the altcoin prices go down because there's less demand for altcoins and they all go to BTC. After BTC reaches its ATH or new ATH, people start to sell their BTC and turn their investment to the altcoins in order to buy at the lower price and sell at the higher price. This is when the BTC dominance score started to decrease.

206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when....... on: March 25, 2023, 04:55:57 AM
Well, I don't like meme coins either and never invest in them. So, based on my experience, of course, sometimes I feel a mix of emotions. On the one hand, I jumped into cryptocurrency to profit and felt sad when I didn't join the FOMO and gain big money, but on the other hand, meme coins contradict my beliefs about how a crypto project should be, which has real-world utilities and benefits a large number of people. I've held some coins and tokens with great utilities for years, and as prices, they don't perform well, but they're still around and thriving, and that makes me happy. I'm hoping they hit their target and I can profit from it. I never make any comments about other people who invest in those projects because it is up to them to manage their own profit strategy. Everybody has their own way to profit, so I avoid making bad comments about how they invest.
207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who is most reliable person? on: March 25, 2023, 04:40:29 AM
Oh, what interesting imagery! But I won't use that parable if I were you, haha. Why? Because it's not about the title (someone closer, maybe love, spouse, next of kin) that you've mentioned (which, in your figure of speech, probably can touch private pants for females and boxers for males). I don't advise sharing the private keys or seed phrases with anyone, but if you have to, IMHO, there are three conditions to fulfill before you share them with others. First, only share them with TRUSTED individuals. Second, share it with the person who NEED to know. Third, who UNDERSTAND the value and significance of protecting this information. So, depending on this criteria, I think you may consider more about who could know about the information.
208  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto space: A Wild Wild West on: March 25, 2023, 04:26:17 AM
Absolutely correct! Feeling is the central concept here. Emotionally charged situations can cloud rational thought. Many different things—movies, music, dogs, partnerships, and so on—have the potential to stir up strong feelings in a person and thus influence their thoughts and actions. Con artists are aware of this, and they use it to their advantage. And we know it's not wise to make financial decisions based on how we feel, right? Because doing so risks making a poor choice. Scammers aren't the only ones looking to cash in on Squid Game's popularity; legitimate businesses selling merchandising and fans looking to boost the profiles of their favorite stars by editing Squid Game footage are also cashing in. Everyone wanted in on the action. Because of the Squid Game's popularity and the sheer volume of people who are negatively impacted, I think the conventional media also gets exploited by this endeavor. As a result, more people fell for the scheme after it was widely reported in the media, creating a self-perpetuating circle of evil. In general, I concur with what you’ve said.
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Diversified accounts for children on: March 24, 2023, 04:45:57 AM
What wise choices you've made! I wish my parents had been like that for me, lol. Preparing their finances and sparing them from our earnings is a great idea, but it's better not to tell them until they're ready to avoid them thinking they don't need to work on it because my parents have already prepared for me. Teaching children about finances when they are young is always a good idea. It will help them grasp the idea of how important it is to learn to manage your finances from the beginning. Learning about e-commerce, networking, the crypto currency market, and forex is also important nowadays as the world becomes more complicated, digital, and fast-paced. It will also give them an idea of how difficult it is to earn money. They will appreciate your plan more as a result of this. Even though the concept of blockchain and cryptocurrency is still new, you can always teach them the simplest, most basic things so that they at least have an idea of what it is.  It is very easy to obtain information from the internet, so even if you want to avoid them learning this during their adolescence in order to keep them away from social vices, they can still learn it if they want to. So, to avoid misunderstandings, it's better, in my opinion, if you're the one who gives them the fundamental understanding as you want them to see it.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we build a strong community of supporters for crypto projects ? on: March 24, 2023, 04:18:49 AM
I will try to answer this based on my experience. So, a couple of months ago, I joined a bounty program from one of the metaverse projects. I've seen this project gain some exposure through the bounty program, but it doesn't yet have a dedicated following, because, as we all know, most bounty hunters are only interested in making money. But the project did get some exposure. This project was already listed, but the price remained low until one day, when it unexpectedly rose and became one of the exchange's top gainers. Since then, people have been drawn to buy more, and more people have come to invest. But not for long, as the price has dropped once again. The project has a total supply of one billion tokens and has decided to conduct a fast burn program in just a few days (they have already burned 750 million tokens), with the goal of having only 100 million tokens as a total supply.

People accuse the developer of massively selling their own token and planning a rug pull during this bear phase, but fortunately, the developer is very transparent and open about everything related to his efforts to save the project, including listing on Pancake Swap and listing on another top-tier exchange. At the same time, they are still developing the working product. They only released their first product in February. When people have doubts, he will come to answer those accusations and engage with the community without imposing unnecessary bans on those who spread FUD, but he will try to direct the doubt. With this approach, people who are willing to buy large quantities (whales) gain trust and a sense of belonging to the project, and they become a loyal community. They share the same vision and mission because they want the project to succeed. The whales even made a group for shillers and initiated giving rewards to their top marketers. Until now, the price hasn't returned to the ICO price yet, but I just want to show how building a loyal community is actually possible. It needs really good communication and transparency between the community and developers.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 24, 2023, 03:39:15 AM
Elon Musk, I believe, had a huge influence in the emergence of Dogecoin by introducing it to the mainstream and creating enthusiasm around it. But, I believe that the success of meme coins is mostly due to the community's enthusiasm and capacity to generate FOMO, which leads to increased demand and higher pricing. Shiba Inu, a meme coin, is following in the footsteps of Dogecoin by capitalizing on the enthusiasm surrounding the meme coin market. While the technology underlying these currencies may not have a specific function, their popularity and success are driven by the community's enthusiasm and excitement.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sleep on DEx Exchange tokens on: March 23, 2023, 07:16:17 AM
I'm perplexed by the lack of popularity of hybrid exchanges, considering their capacity to combine the benefits of DEX and CEX and address the shortcomings of both exchange types. While CEX provides authority to regulate exchange traffic, it lacks transparency and puts our crypto assets at risk due to the lack of private key control, as demonstrated by FTX's issues; on the other hand, while DEX allows for asset control, it suffers from high slippage and inclusivity issues, allowing scam projects to deploy contracts, hype them up, and then disappear with investors' money.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 23, 2023, 07:01:53 AM
I came across a hybrid exchange project a few days ago that follows the Islamic principle of mudarabah (which indicates a revenue cooperation wherein one party contributes funds while the other party supplies skills and employment), eschewing staking and future trading, which are prohibited in Islam due to the haram nature of interest; though not exclusively for Moslems, the developers hope to attract them to invest in a shariah-compliant crypto project, but actually  this concept provides protection for all investors (either Moslem and Non-Moslem) as profit shares and spot trading are less hazardous than staking and future trading. I believe the reason for the existence of such projects is because the Islamic viewpoint has its own guidance in financial aspects and investment, which is why some Moslem Developers want to attempt to develop a project that goes along with their beliefs.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RUN, while you still can. on: March 23, 2023, 06:31:36 AM
SpaceID is ubiquitous now that airdrop season 2 is approaching. This has created an opportunity for fraudsters to deceive a large number of people by employing devilish methods such as the one you displayed here. It is our job to protect ourselves by carefully double-checking any airdrops news from legitimate sources, such as official outlets. Verify not just based one source, but all of their official social media accounts and organizations to ensure their credibility.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 22, 2023, 04:49:48 AM
Some project developers may be more encouraged to start their products during a bull market since there is more enthusiasm and investment in the field, increasing their chances of success. During a bear market, on the other hand, there may be less excitement and investment in the field, making it more difficult for new ideas to get momentum. Yet, successful projects may be launched in both bull and downturn markets, and the date of a project launch should not be the main element in its success. Finally, the success of a project is determined by a variety of elements, such as the people behind it, the technology, and the value it gives to users.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers of mixer/tumblers on: March 22, 2023, 04:47:05 AM
There are various zero-trust mixers for Bitcoin and Bitcoin forks available, but they are not as extensively utilized as centralized mixers that rely on third-party trust. JoinMarket, which employs a CoinJoin mechanism to allow several users to mix their transactions together in a way that obscures their history, is one example of a zero-trust mixer for Bitcoin. Wasabi Wallet, for example, employs a Chaumian CoinJoin approach that similarly obscures transaction history.

Multi-signature transactions can give an extra degree of protection to transactions, however they do not always obfuscate transaction histories. Multi-sig transactions require many parties to sign off on a transaction, which can assist to avoid fraud and enhance security. Yet, because the transaction history remains public on the blockchain, it does not obfuscate transaction histories in the same manner as zero-trust mixers do.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: March 22, 2023, 04:44:38 AM
Based on my experience with Bitcoin halving that occurs approximately every four years, we are currently in the bear phase. However, I believe that the market will improve in 2024-2025 and we will see a new all-time high. The Bitcoin halving occurs every four years, and it is an event that reduces the block reward miners receive by half. Historically, the halving has led to a bull run in the cryptocurrency market, with prices increasing significantly in the months and years that follow. Although the current market conditions may seem bleak, it is important to remember that this is not the first time that the cryptocurrency market has faced challenges. Just like the previous halving events, the market will eventually recover and grow even bigger than before. Therefore, it is advisable to hold onto your investments and stay optimistic, as the market is expected to bounce back stronger after this downturn. Or even though Bitcoin halving won't bring some massive effect  in the future, I hope crypto market will get more mature and getting healthier so the volatility won't be that wild.

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are collapsing. Will Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rise from here?? on: March 19, 2023, 04:05:59 AM
People's faith in traditional financial institutions may be eroded as a result of the failure of banks such as Credit Suisse and Silicon Valley Bank. Nonetheless, it is impossible to draw a clear link between these events and the trend toward decentralization. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies provide a distinct financial system based on decentralization and transparency, which may appeal to certain people who have lost trust in traditional banks. However, it is important to note that cryptocurrency usage is still tiny in comparison to traditional banking, and there are still challenges to overcome before they can become a generally recognized alternative.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: March 19, 2023, 04:04:09 AM
Absolutely, it is feasible to invest $100 in cryptocurrencies and profit by $7,000 or more. I've had luck with cryptocurrencies like as REBL, OMNI (OAI), and EWT. It is crucial to remember, however, that many cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile and are not ideal for long-term investment. It's also worth noting that, while some of these cryptocurrencies may have offered huge gains at one point, many of them plummeted after reaching all-time highs and died. As a result, while investing in cryptocurrencies, it is critical to conduct comprehensive research and exercise prudence.
