201  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: October 20, 2014, 11:13:33 AM
- 1/2pot button, pot button and all-in button: I was impressed because you can add small blinds with the mouse wheel, but auto calculate bets lets you play on more tables.

- More filters for the lobby: The quantity of players playing now doesn't let you choose so much, but for the future it would be interesting to filter by level specifically for the value of the big blind, not only micro-low-high limits.

I second those.

3/4 pot would be great too
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: October 20, 2014, 09:31:33 AM
XCP has been on a steady uptrend over the past couple of weeks. Nice to see, looks like this one is definitely a holder.

The supply is low which helps.

Was just checking today, almost 15x return over the average burn price.

The supply is indeed low. It would be silly to sell XCP now when Medici is just around the corner.

It is never silly to sell when you have made 1500% return

You can't predict the future, even if it looks bright for XCP
203  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 4 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX on: October 17, 2014, 04:14:01 PM
we are doing nothing more then global warming.

cryptx isn'nt doing there job what im paying for and there custom build scrypt boards were a lie.
give us the reinfest fund, even putting the money on the bank gives me a better profit with these low interests.

lets call it a day, the only one making profit is cryptx in hosting fees.mand thats the easyiest thing they had/have to do. they failed missarably in beeing up2date with the technology.

That's why I voted for giving the shareholders the reinvestment fund. But apparently (as we have no way to check), the majority of shareholders voted to "wait" for the return of the messiah.

Maybe a new vote would yield different results.

While the BTC are sitting in limbo, at least they're not wasted in soon-to-be-useless gear !
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: October 15, 2014, 10:42:04 AM
Where can we buy Storj except Polo?
We are talking with some other exchanges. We expect to have 1-2 more soonish.

Melotic does a great job but lacks of volume.

When I suddenly got it :

Unfortunately, I never got those messages, and to top it off my skype account was apparently hacked some time in the last few days, and I've just regained control of it.

Blaming a hacker... fucking degen
206  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 15, 2014, 09:08:19 AM
So a fucking degen gambler stole our money, lost it, and now a filthy rich dice site owner has no remorse keeping stolen money.

This community is rotten. I think I'm done with BTC.
207  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 14, 2014, 07:24:57 PM
Wtf, this means that stunna has our coins Huh
208  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 14, 2014, 03:31:24 PM
I'm guessing that many here would happily pay for someone with, um, persuasive skills to go in person and nicely ask for repayment.

Before you do, consider that we have nothing linking dmf to the guy in the photo other than that we have a single instagram photo of the guy with the tag "dicemasterflash" on it.

That's all.

How's this for a theory:

dmf *isn't* the guy in the photo, but he's watching this thread, sees some innocent guy in New York get incorrectly dox'ed, and thinks "if I start making some token refunds right now, all those idiots will see it as proof that that's me in the photo"...

Crazy, right?

At least the refunds have been quite random. As i previously said I'm missing 50+ BTC from my account Steve (2474) on DN and haven't received anything. That is still a good amount of coins. Even tough I'm not located in the US I might just hop on a plane next week and try to talk to this guy. I might also be happy to help anybody who wants to do it with his travel expenses Wink However I would like to have more confidence that the doxing is correct. The evidence is slim and I'm not sure whether I should go to NY or the other side of the US.

I'm ok to contribute to your travel expenses if you manage to get some of my coins back.

I'll send you some details via PM.

Counterwallet targeted instructions can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/YWKaV -- in short: submit your wallet's address, copy the unsigned hex of the raw transaction and use "address actions" - "sign transaction" within CW.

It looks like not only Luke is pushing forward to 80 byte OP_RETURN, but jgarzik as well: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/5075

Makes me sort of wonder about the underlying motivation and what has changed since the "general consensus" resulted in the reduced length of 40 byte. And this makes me especially wonder, if there are business interests involved that some of the participants of the discussion might be associated with.

thanks DexX7.. I was wondering the same !

DICE NINJA :

211  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 13, 2014, 10:23:39 AM
I guess that seeing the pictures of you child on an internet forum after stealing 1000+ BTC didn't help him/them to calm down.

Do you really think they'll stop ppl you've stolen from with 10 % ?

Qui te dit que Satoshi n'est pas actif sur le forum sous un ou plusieurs comptes, qui te dit qu'il n'en fait pas la promotion activement sous une autre identité ?

Checking in to see how his victims feel. Good lad.

His victims feel very bad... what does he expect ?
215  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 10, 2014, 11:01:23 AM
If they were also investors, then their expected return was higher, so I suppose they weren't investing much.

Unfortunately your return from stealing the bankroll is pretty much always going to be higher than your expected return from running an honest site.

That's why I put off developing Just-Dice for a year, and only eventually did it to see what happened, rather than expecting anyone to really use it.

I wish now I hadn't come up with the idea, if all it has done is created yet another way for greedy assholes to scam people.

Maybe the best way to avoid scams is to reopen. At least you're the most trusted dice owner around.

That was fast !

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SWARM] Swarm - Cryptoequity Crowdfunding - Official Thread on: October 09, 2014, 09:14:06 AM
SWARM just crashed from 5800 to 400

https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/btc_swarm

? ? ?

Probably because after raising 1M$ and trying to dupe investors with lies about their previous promises, they've only released an overpriced comic and nothing more (except nicely crafted PR material)

Glad I got out of this mess in time !

I wouldn't be so hard on them- it's more like once you really think about it, and compare it to a changing competitive landscape, you start to realize that the swarm coins themselves won't really ever have much value at all. I mean, really- how many people are going to crowdfund on swarm + how much money they will raise * A tiny percentage of that. It's really a very, very, small amount. It doesn't mean swarm isn't working or isn't going to be a success. It just means that we are bootstrapping a company that will maybe/maybe not have a hard time really earning a big profit. By the time they are fully operational, we might have lighthouse or other distributed crowdfunding alternatives on the scene. It will be a crowded niche, and holding a swarm coin will only get you the tinniest of fraction of any profit. So yeah, I got out while I could too. But I don't feel bad about bootstrapping their company. I almost got most of my BTC back out, and really at todays prices, it's kinda like I threw some cash at some guys I thought were doing something cool. More power to them in my opinion, and best of luck, but I'm glad to have gotten my investment out in time. :-)

Yep,, indeed, I was a bit hard. It's just that they don't seem to know where they are going...

One good thing that will come out of this that BTC cartel will realize that XCP is actually enhancing its usability. We will have less of Lucas Jr. types trying to police the transactions.

Actually Eligius (Luke Jr pool) is the first to process OP_RETURN 80 bytes transactions.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XDN] DarkNote. Anonymous 100% PoW CPU+Untraceable Crypto Messages+GUI Client! on: October 08, 2014, 05:23:23 PM
Announce: DarkNote XDN devs are officially working on DarkNote XDN <-> SuperNET integration, to improve both!
We are in active collaboration with @jl777 about that stuff.

+1

That is just a "pre" announce.
You should wait for an official statement from both SuperNET and DarkNote.

"wait" before doing what...? are you suggesting people shouldn't buy?

There are no suggestions, just saying, that this is a preannounce,
Official statement = statement that made from both DarkNote and SuperNET side will explanations.

Coins that are "pre-announced" are forbidden from joining SuperNET, didn't you get the memo?

Welcome to the kindergarten !

I think an official statement by SuperNet would be necessary to believe this
