201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Physical Litecoins by CryptoVest (Coming soon!!) on: April 22, 2013, 01:34:46 AM
The problem that you might run into is the Ł as it is already used for another currency and could cause legal problems. I seen somewhere that tried to use the Ł and they got stopped from using it and trying to find the info to post on here about tit. Just giving a heads up if you do start to produce them

Um, it's a letter not a denomination IRL.  And if it was "legal" issues stopping it, physical BTC wouldn't exist as it is an actual currency symbol, i.e. Thailand.

Quote
So, I ask you guys... is this too much? Would you be willing to spend this much for a physical Litecoin? Maybe it would be better to only have higher denominations so the mark up would not have to be so high? The higher denomination sold would further decrease the markup I need to charge. What are your opinions on prices of the coins?

Read my post above.  No, No, No.... I'm willing to preorder a bunch of coins at almost any denomination, same as many have posted before me.  If it's the money that's not getting this off the ground then accept pre-orders.  Simple, problem solved and this gets going NOW.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Physical Litecoins by CryptoVest (Coming soon!!) on: April 22, 2013, 01:08:51 AM

Any other opinions?  Huh

Yes.  If it's the initial seed money to get this off the ground and into pockets that's the issue at hand, I would love to pre-order.
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Government banning bitcoin?? on: April 20, 2013, 07:12:48 PM
they can make it illegal though

It's illegal to download music and movies in most places yet I can still do it in just a few moments.

Shutting down exchanges?  They will just move to friendlier countries.

Cheers

Who is simplyfun from btc-e chat here?  I'd like to know his bitcointalk forum username.

Thanks all.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoiners: Idea to make Litecoin importance skyrocket in Bitcoin ecosystem on: April 16, 2013, 05:41:35 AM

Well said with all the childish language. lol. Not.

Op's proposal benefits bitcoin only.  It automatically makes LTC the "lesser" coin.  Unless Gavin himself says that they will introduce LTC support along with LTC's commitment to support BTC.  I see ZERO reason to even entertain op's proposal.

Sorry but in this world it's kill or be killed.  BTC needs LTC support much more than LTC needs Bitcoin.  That is what we in the real world call leverage.  It's not some stupid silver LTC coin that anyone can make.  Sorry OP but you are about to go the way of the dinosaur.
ad hominem attacks?really?sigh.Whatever, dude, be the thickest dumbfuck ever.Be fucking blinded by your own ignorance. Be fucking stupid. keep it up. Continue to ignore the obvious benefits to everyone here. Continue with this "us vs them" retarded fourth grade mentality. Keep it up.

go right on ahead being a dumbfuck.

And to ignore you go...  Wow, child.  Mom never washed your mouth out?

Cheers!
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoiners: Idea to make Litecoin importance skyrocket in Bitcoin ecosystem on: April 16, 2013, 05:40:34 AM
Litecoin, a Bitcoin slave, begins by demanding justice and ends by wanting to wear a crown.

Lol, damn, wish I wouldn't have missed this one.

Litecoin isn't asking anything.  Litecoin just is and is holding value well, on it's own, at least compared to btc and actually gaining ltc/btc wise.

ITT, I see a well known bitcoiner demanding something before he does anything for ltc (which is nothing new).  Too bad for him.  LTC is going to the upper leagues without his demands being met.  It's btc that needs ltc.  Never forget that.

We don't need or want him here.  His proposal benefits BTC only making LTC immediately less than BTC.  Period.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I dont care that I did not sell at $250, and why I am not selling on: April 16, 2013, 05:21:52 AM
Lol, I don't effing care OP....  How's that?

You missed many opportunities... Your bad. Period.
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: OH GOD STOP SELLING! IF ONLY YOU WOULD STOP SELLING WE WILL ALL BE OK! on: April 16, 2013, 04:23:51 AM
I love how everyone keeps saying, "oh good cheap coins!" and then another hour goes by and it drops another $10 usd.  You don't have that much liquidity.  This market is crashing.  Invest accordingly.

Buying now is known in the bubble world as "trying to catch a falling knife" for good reason.

Yep, thank god for clueless bulls. Smiley

Cheers!
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the hell just happened on: April 16, 2013, 04:22:41 AM
I think this is called despair.

No, it bounced from $52 to $70 in a matter of seconds and the Ask side of the order book vanished. Now it's back to $61.

It didn't vanish. It was bought up. The asks are way overextended.

Yep... watch was bulls get waxed.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC!!!! on: April 16, 2013, 04:21:43 AM
Have we hit despair yet?  I think we just hit it!  Thank god we are finally going to where we should be.

BTW, it's now $62.

lol, called it first.
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise after the weekend? on: April 16, 2013, 04:14:36 AM
.

But you keep waiting for that "dip" you keep talking about.

And it's down again.

Hit a low of 71.

Cheers!

And now it's 62.

The bigger the font size, the bigger the loss. Poor smoothie Sad

I do feel bad for smoothie though.  It's hard to swallow the bitter pill of reality.  So I guess he feels he has to make up for the size of such a small penis through forum bets.  I foresee much more dick measuring contests via the internet by smoothie to deal with it though. God only knows if he can't compensate IRL.

 Cry

Sorry smoothie that you feel the need to always "justify".

Cheers

We need that capitulation event so that we can move on...  Grin

We still aren't there yet.  There is still much denial but also a lot of fear....  Can't tell if this is pre bulltrap or just after.

Oh that's right... BTC doesn't react like other markets even though it is proving that is does for the second time.

Keep it coming, I love bacon.

What is funny is that I dont have to sell a single coin for a year if I wanted to. I am sure there are others in my same position.

Please sell your coins now.

Don't you think the bear trap was at $5, $6, $7, $9, $14, $16, $18, $21, $23, $25, $27, $34, $39, $47...Huh

Yes us Bulls are in such trouble right now.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I don't have to explain my trades to you.  Feeling bitter?  I called it in the other thread and you dismissed me.  Sorry that you were wrong.. Again.  I called it right.  Not you.

Probably time for you to move on...

Translation: "Ahaaa na na nee boo boo I was right! You were wrong!"

Seriously? lol.

When did I ever ask you to explain your trades to me? Judging from your butt hurt response you sold coins between $5 and $40.

Did you buy back in higher??  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes I just GOTTA know...lol

Read my past posts and you'll see when I sold.  I hide nothing.  You only make personal attacks and run.  I liked your posts at the beginning.  Now I see why your ignore is so bold.  Deal with it. I called it and you laughed when I did and you were wrong.  Off to ignore you go.

Sorry I made more money and will continue to make more money in this bubble than you.

Cheers.

Someone please quote my posting so that user bitcoiners can see this.

@Bitcoiners, Care to make a wager on who made more on this bubble??

We'll see if you go quiet as you so claim I do.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I've noticed lately a lot of your posts are about how your ok, and how you don't need to worry.  That's cool.  But, like 99% of the rest of people who bought bitcoin are not you, and a significant portion of the not-you group bought recently and are not doing very well.

2. Since when do you know that 99% of people who bought bitcoins are suffering right now?

I didn't claim 99% we're suffering.  Just that 99% of bitcoin owners are things in the universe that are not you.

I've noticed a lot of Smoothie's post lately have been a biggest dick measuring contest.  I hope he's ok and he didn't lose to much being blinded by that last bull run.  I'm sorry I'm not 16 anymore smoothie and I don't need to prove anything, especially not to you.  I called it, you laughed.  You were wrong.  Deal with it.  I hope all is well and maybe you have an anger issue you need to talk to a professional about.  Seriously.  Just putting that out there in case no one else has.

Cheers

The result wanted for Litecoin can be achieved organically. This modification isn't needed for the result wanted.
no one NEEDS anything but why the fuck not act like fucking grown ups for once and stop fighting over whose's fucking dick is bigger and collaborate towards something beneficial for everyone ?

220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Confused?? Wake up!! Decide who you are...not bull/bear, BUT... on: April 16, 2013, 02:37:07 AM
It just seems like the lines between a long term investor and short term are not so different right now.

I don't see that.  Someone wanting to buy black tar heroin right now is going to buy and spend, right now.  Someone wanting to buy silver right now, will buy and spend right now.  Someone wanting to use BTC as a store of wealth will do so.  Some people want to buy and trade in the short term as they are doing right now.  I don't see how this is any different than any other market that exists in the world.

We are watching the precious metals go through the same thing right now.  How are we different?

Because BTC's are so much more volatile than gold.  Gold price change of 10% in one day is HUGE.  BTC price change of 10% in one day is normal.  This makes your entry point with BTC so much more critical that even for a long term investor you need to think of the short term.

Because...

It takes awhile to offload physical gold.  Takes only moments to move BTC into something else.  Relatively speaking.

When someone dumps 150 tons of physical gold it takes coordination, timing, and money.  Not so with BTC.  That's the main difference.
