We actually met up with Tuxavant, Coingenuity and Patrick from Intersango on Sunday afternoon at the MGM Grand poker room.
Sorry we missed you sethsethseth.
Wat? Oh no you di'nt! I was at Defcon all day with my talk and challenge. Now lets hear how you confused my name with someone else. This will be ripe. Its strange how you missed inviting who I consider the one person in the bitcoin community doing more for mass adoption than all of you combined.. Im in awe of Tuxavants dedication to Bitcoin.. and I applaud him...

Well it seems my bitcoin folder is fragmented/and or redundant The most secure method would probably be sony HD-MD if that weren't discontinued. MO-Drives are more reliable than DVDs, but for any reasonable effort that is probably the best thing. HD-DVD is, as far as I remember, similar technique (magnetooptical). It was designed as a robust backup medium. Eventually several DVD burner wrote all three formats. No idea how it is now, but I am sure it is still widely used in the industry. Laser engrave private keys on a tungsten bucking bar. The bank can burn down around it and it will still be readable. *types off the privkey* *imports into wallet* *finds 168 BTC* *sends 168 BTC back home* *runs off laughing maniacly* Ente Jesus! this made me laugh manicaly.. awesome.. lmao

Howdy, I'll be in Las Vegas July 27th through July 29th with some of the biggest names in Bitcoin. If you're in the area drop by and we can all chat. Contact me for details if you're interested. P.S. Private security will be present so no fishy business. -pirate Translation: "I am attempting to show that I am credible by using the biggest names in bitcoin to get people to trust me with their bitcoins." Ding ding ding ding.... bingo...

Cant wait for next years snub! Im excited... After this I will be sure to invest all my money with all of you guys and your businesses, your truly a stand up crowd, and Im glad you ultimately showed your social attitudes to people outside your little clique.. I have all the information I need.. Cheers.. PS. I wasnt here to witch hunt anyone, specially not Pirate, I was here to talk with some of the more outspoken bitcoiners, this is what I love to do, and of the few I did meet, I loved every minute of it.. Its a shame we all couldnt have sat down together. On another note.. I bought a Cas Coin, I like it, looks nice, I'd like to add. Didnt mind paying 15 bucks for it either.. It came in handy talking about bitcoin.. Some people just need to see something physical. Im not lumping Cassasius into the elitism crowd, I just would have like to met you..

It seems that many of the posts since my "I've seen a pirate post" claim that I am somehow lying or misleading people on the forums. Here is the simple truth.
I brought my brother-in-law to Vegas to hang out and meet some people related to bitcoin. We've had the opportunity to meet pirateat40, reeses, Goat, copumpkin, pidgeons, Coinabul, Partrick from Intersango, OneFixt and his girlfriend, BurtW and Scared. I've probably missed a few people in the list.
I must say, meeting all of these people has been a pretty awesome experience. Pirate is a nice guy and we had a great time playing craps (BurtW taught pirate, Goat and I how to pay), roulette and 3 card poker. I also got to spend some time in the poker room with OneFixt. We've eaten dinner together, talked bitcoin and it's future and played some games in the casino.
Does this make me an expert in what pirate does? No.
For all of you that claim that because I've met pirateat40 I am now somehow responsible for his actions, well, you're logic is flawed.
Thanks for the invite guys, that showed some real top class elitism... AFAIK, all you had to do was contact Pirate for details on where he'd be when. Did he deny you? He took my number... said he would call with details.. Its all good I see how this works now, us common folk were not welcome I guess... Solid! Two groups of Bitcoiners meeting up in the same conference and not intersocializing between the two.. Laughable... I really really enjoyed the bitcoiners I did meet, great people, talking with them about bitcoin truly made my trip, and I thank them all.

It shows me my total hashrate.
ok thanks, it must be my pools api..
|
|
|
I think its great too..
But my only complaint is that I dont see my total hash rate..
The field is there, but always says zero.. but shows all workers connected and a green square, indicating the worker is submitting shares...
Does it work for anyone else ?

I also saw this in action... really great stuff Tux.. Totally inspiring.. great job.. you even got a little bitcoin mention in the closing ceremonies

I need to know specific sized to have rush made for the event... without sizes, I can't have them ready for you. It's ok if you dont end up buying it (for any reason) because I'll be able to sell it on bitmit... but I need to know how many to make, in specific sizes/qty and how many to bring with with me to the event.
Large should be good for me..

I originally mentioned a fold as a norm..
once folded it hides a QR private key underneath.. as opposed to having a private key QR on both sides..
So, a folded bill would be in practive, the defacto way of carrying it..

He does, however, create a market for gently pre-owned GPU farms amongst the hakzorz community once ASIC takes over.
Excellent point..
