1041  Economy / Speculation / Re: $/BTC Time Series Analysis on: February 15, 2012, 12:57:43 AM
Here is a look at the ratio of cumulative $ volume vs cumulative BTC volume over time. So far the highest peak was at $6.65 on September 8, 2011. Linear scale.

Gartner hype cycle..
1042  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honey Caramels for Valentine's on: February 14, 2012, 11:53:04 PM
Got my caramels today, thank you very much! the lipbalm was a nice extra..

Well packed, nice little boxes..

I got the sea salt and choc ones..

The chocolates are for someone else, but the sea salt caramels are delicious, salt wasnt over powering at all, I dont think you'd even notice if you didnt mention the sea salt..

Once again, thank you very much!

A+++++++ Smiley

1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its called a correction on: February 14, 2012, 08:09:26 PM
It kind of agrees with my initial estimates for about a month and a half of corrections (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=59903.0).

Sorry you came late to the 2.5 bitcoin monthly party... Sad
1048  Economy / Speculation / Re: steady selling pressure, should be at $3.00 very soon on: February 14, 2012, 07:57:37 PM
No offense man...

But your seeing stuff that isnt there..
1049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its called a correction on: February 14, 2012, 05:53:23 PM
I'll most likely send daily updates.

Besides teflone, wobber, and Mushoz, are there any others interested.

I'd most likely be in as well. If it contains short-term updates as well. Those are the most valuable to me.

Also I request this be somewhat limited to people able to sign up.  I know it sounds stupid..

But the lemming effect from R2D2's  is staggering..
1050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its called a correction on: February 14, 2012, 05:52:13 PM

LMFAO!!!

posted this a couple of weeks ago: http://imageshack.us/f/688/bitcoinforum.png/

situation now: http://imageshack.us/f/171/69867152.png/

Many here need to learn the basics of investing before they start speculating. A near perfect channel correction is near complete if not finished already. The name of the game is buying when others are fearful...bitcoin is no different than the same dynamics that price out everything in a free market.

Ok, I want you as my personal analyst, Im willing to pay 2.5 coins a month for something like R2D205 does...

No bull.
1053  Economy / Speculation / Re: The only Winner: zhoutong on: February 14, 2012, 01:41:29 PM
Yup, thats right! kill it !

Short sell these bitcoins into oblivion!
1054  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Shuffle has begun on: February 13, 2012, 10:04:57 PM
We can't buy short because too many other people are trying to all at once?

Cant buy long right now, as is most of the time..  yes because everyone is going long.

Paying people to store their coin at bitcoinica should start helping this I hope..
1055  Economy / Speculation / Re: SilkRoad Issues, BitServ Down, BitScalper Down = Bitcoin Going Down on: February 13, 2012, 07:47:23 PM
Atlas just posts crap when hes lonely and wants to preach to someone

...but I just won it using actual information. Not blaming manipulators, counting formulas or following newsletters. I just read Twitter and forum posts. I listened to the actual people buying and selling the stuff.

EDIT:

This is a specific bitcoinica issue.

Did it happen to you too ?

Not today, but last time it did.

Its been addressed..

was only a few of us.
1057  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 13, 2012, 06:21:05 AM
It seemed to be 10 confirms..  it was interesting

It was succesfull, but backfired on me, and was a loss, Im still thinking of ways to use this..

But boy did she go! 100 gigs on 20000 shares..  was fun to watch, it took about 15 minutes..

Cant wait for all the buttons and functions that should be there to be there!  Update will be big game changer I would imagine Smiley
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought someones liquidation - was it you? on: February 13, 2012, 05:15:06 AM

It'll go down as long as bitcoinica has an asterix on the buy. Somebody wants all your leverage.

Yes, this is what Im thinking too, having the hand tighten around bitcoinica is key...  Wink

We the need the rocky theme playing right now... thats quite a narrow wall..  interesting..

Yeah, if I had the kind of buying power this person had it's exactly what I'd be doing.

Bitcoinica => Make huge bet on where the market is going
MtGox => MAKE THE MARKET GO WHERE YOU WANT
MtGox => Hold wall as close as possible because of bitcoinica's stupid algorithms
Bitcoinica => Cash out and laugh your ass off
MtGox => release hold while still laughing your ass off.

If I had the money I would be doing this instead of posting about it. Anyone who uses bitcoinica is playing a game they cannot win.
