201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: August 13, 2012, 11:15:50 PM
Chip chip chippin' away at that $12 wall.
202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 1,000,000,000 USD? on: August 09, 2012, 02:38:49 PM
I've seen prices higher than 12.50$ but High on Gox is below 12$. Weird.

This is a bad day to be actually trying to sell coins, it seems...  You see the high price, move money into the mountain and then your sell orders disappear before they can be filled...  or else your transactions are rolled back.  Sad
That exact scenario happened to me twice this morning.
203  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 1,000,000,000 USD? on: August 09, 2012, 02:11:29 PM
Yup
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 02:06:15 PM
The order book just fucked up again.  My new sell order disappeared, price jumped way past it, no change in my balance of USD, depth chart super low on sell side.  GOX!!!!!
205  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 1,000,000,000 USD? on: August 09, 2012, 01:54:39 PM
It's an issue with disappearing ask orders. And because of that price is climbing. There's almost non-existing ask side at times :-)

To me it seems like they are coming back?
Can't say for sure though, clarkmoody doesnt work here atm.
What is happening *now*? Still twilight-zone, or everything back to normal?

Ente
What is happening *now* is that trade are flowing again.  However, The price was not rolled back to when I and others noticed our sell orders disappeared.  It seemed to just resume when trading stopped at about $11.80.  If you can't use clarkmoody I would suggest btccharts.com as a backup.
206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox - wtf? on: August 09, 2012, 01:04:25 PM
I can't believe nobody is talking about this in other threads!  We should make a new one.
207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 1,000,000,000 USD? on: August 09, 2012, 01:03:09 PM
LOL, these guys have been doing this for couple of years now, and still these weird bugs...

208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 12:59:15 PM
is this an issue that is possible to roll back?  since trading wasn't frozen what how would they roll back? say someone made 200 btc off of this glitch and then withdrew them. How to fix that?
Good question.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 12:51:47 PM
Yeah no trades for over 6 minutes, I think he finally hit the kill button.  Wish I had my money in other exchanges because they rallied as well, with no rollback possibility (probably).
As far as I know the rally till $11.5 was completely legit. It was only after then that the asks disappeared.
You are probably right.  Somewhere between $11.20 and $11.50 although I would like to see someone come up with an exact time.

Oh sweet, now Clark Moody is show the high of the day at 1000000000.00 hahaha.  "Yep, nothing wrong here!" - Tux
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 12:33:14 PM
Tux states there is nothing wrong?  I have a third source that says his sell orders disappeared over on BTC-E chat: "Smoovious: yeah, and all of my pending sell orders are gone, but the coin wasn't sold"

I saw the damn order book go down to under 2000BTC all the way up to $100,000,000 and he says there is nothing wrong?  OK, so everybody who had sell orders deleted them all at the same time? right.  It wasn't just one guy with sell orders on the market.
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 12:26:50 PM
Damn nice rally if it doesn't get rolled back  Grin
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 12:20:36 PM
So the question is, at what time did the sell orders disappear and are they going to roll back trading to that time?
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy fuuck, look at that non-wall ! on: August 09, 2012, 12:16:41 PM
I think something is up.  I had a sell order (on Gox) disappear on me overnight.  I can't trace it down.  Thought I was going crazy until I see less than 2000 BTC on the entire sell side of the order book.

218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Withdrawl from Mt Gox into Dwolla Question on: August 07, 2012, 08:21:24 PM
My withdrawals from Gox to Dwolla have taken a consistent 8-10 days the last 3-4 times.  It sucks to wait that long, but at least it goes through every time.  Curious to know if there are any other exchanges that can do a 1-2 day withdrawal to Dwolla **AND** will take Gox USD codes??
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Real Time Charting, Order Book, and Time & Sales on: August 07, 2012, 08:19:06 PM
Alright! Noticed my Period setting is persistent across full refreshes now.  Thanks!
