201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PES] Pesa - Anonymous Coin - No Premine - Dynamic Interest - PoStr on: July 28, 2014, 10:31:12 AM
All my coins are in stake, latest has 3 confirmations so it seems like only a few others are staking. The best run is patience. do your transfers to your wallets. Once in there they will stake in time

As more new wallets come online block confirmation rate should increase.

Something similar happened to sync coin when it first entered POS.  As the POS blockchain matured, it became a lot faster.

Also, you can help the blockchain move by pointing miners at pools.  my understanding is POW is still active.

I remember, been several coins this has happened to. Which pool is still running?

I have contacted ocminer and asked him to update his pesa pool.

Looking at the latest commit, dev has updated version.h which will fix the issues.  Once people start using the new wallet this coin will be back on track.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Re: Bitmark on: July 26, 2014, 09:41:40 PM
consolidation.  have you thought about moving development conversation to a private forum? btt isnt the ideal place for this as you will get alot of noise from traders and speculators.

Thank you for keeping us updated NiccoloMac.  I can appreciate it must be hard, particularly with all the FUD.  It would have been a lot easier for you to stay away from the forum until the updated wallet is released.

All I know is someone is buying up a ton of Pesa, so they expect it to go up. I will be shocked if we are not trading above 2000 by Monday.

yes, PESA still looking hot.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PES] Pesa - Anonymous Coin - No Premine - Dynamic Interest - PoStr on: July 26, 2014, 11:54:33 AM
and working Smart Contracts (wtf is that?)

Blockchain 2.0

@Skyvaleey, why the sudden swing away from PESA? just over 24 hrs ago you posted how great PESA was, now you have turned fudder and troll.  What gives?

Everyone, understand large pressure was put on the dev team to release new code to try and limit POW to 20mil.  They had to act quickly, but unfortunately that has back-fired on them.

Personally i'm happy to sit tight as i'm confident they can fix the problems and get this coin will be back on track.

Can someone catch me up?

Looks like dev fixed POW block Value.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHA]SHACoin - 2.0.0.0 - Returned from the Dead on: July 26, 2014, 03:14:50 AM
I truly admire your commitment and the level of work put into this project but I cant understand how it will work.

From what I can understand, you would need someone to see value in your coins.  So how do you create value linked to the shacoin blockchain, or over existing physical currency.

This is left field, but why not print a public key on the coins and destroy the private key.  This way the value of the coin is held in the shacoin blockchain, but can only be transferred to another party by exchange of the physical coin.

Or, i guess another option is you provide a service where you hold the private key in cold storage and produce a physical coin with the associated public key.  They someone, if the choose, could have the private key in exchange for the physical coin, at which point the physical coin is destroyed and made into a new coin with a new public address.

lol this must be the fuddiest thread ever..

If one thing goes down (the "missing" blocks (lol!)) something else will be found :-)

Not FUD. dev stated they do not own RVC to dump, which isnt true because of the premine for IPO. Can dev give some detail on the IPO?
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RVC] / RevoCoin / POS - POW / 10,000kh miner limit / LAUNCH 22-07 on: July 24, 2014, 03:44:26 PM
what about to disable anonymous names on pools ?

lol i would change my name to Scammy_Dev or Premine_Dumper

We don't own Revocoins yet so how can we dump them?

Please spread fud somewhere else.

What about premine for IPO??

They own BTC. They don't own RVC.

The climb back to 1000 sat looks very natural, suggesting this climb is more to do with buy in and less to do with P&D.  I cant see this dropping back down to 600 again.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PES] Pesa - Anonymous Coin - No Premine - Dynamic Interest - PoStr on: July 23, 2014, 11:28:47 PM

LOL! that guy out of all the traders on twitter you listen to that guy!

Every coin he claims to have bought drops, his tips are on how to become a bagholder. Seriously said to buy burner coin, voot, supercoin when they were at a pretty high price.

He's also a know scammer... would take his advice on cryptos unless you like to be a bag holder.

This has nothing to do with PESA, that guy seems to curse every coin he picks...

I believe IE has created a negative aura around himself and he knows this.  He is probably big noting the coin in the hope of creating fear and getting people to sell their coins to him.  Best advise is not to base your next move on IE twitter feed.

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PES] Pesa - Anonymous Coin - No Premine - Dynamic Interest - PoStr on: July 23, 2014, 11:16:21 PM
Good to know Max is one of the dev's.  I think the other dev, although they want to stay anonymous are the same devs behind CACHEcoin and have connections to Xcurrency.

For people who don't know, CACHEcoin and XC groundbreaking movement is towards blockchain 2.0 tech.  This is where I see PESA heading.

Very exciting times ahead for PESA.

Also looks like pesa has been added to coinmarketcap http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pesa/

MojPoj thanks for coming threw, Tech very grateful you got me in, Needacoin! great job on twitter mate!, Nasjz, who are you?, and all other I might have forgotten. Hope this clears out and we can start by really building XxXcoin.

Ofcourse I will await any official statement made by our DEV(s). Until otherwise I will stay silent and wait in the Dark...

ps. guy responsible for twitter scam was silverduck, irc login rizon, so dev it is ur swedish friend as najzbajs, dev - solverduck - najzbajs all the same person

najzbajs u r not hard to manipulate, believe me

It was an open secret among the xxx community who know us that we are from sweden and one dev from switzerland.
We do not know about those two guys, but there are many bitcoin users in sweden, it can be they are live there too,
but we do not know them, it was only a simple decision when we requested them to make our social sites, and the irc.

We do not know why this all happen, maybe because of the idea to connect the coin with wankcoin?
If we make a new coin with the old XXXcoin and Wankcoin holders, our community will win, because we had
bigger marketcap, after the migrating our community can hold more coins from that new than the Wankcoin holders.
It was only a idea.

We put a lot of money into this project, it already reached the 80 btc budget, this contain the site development,
mining costs, buying xxx. We are the last who wants to see this coin fail.
We split the premine, so community can finance other things, can you name any developer on this forum who did similar?

Yes we had a hard time to get new merchants, many declined our approval request, we wanted to be transparent with this,
would it better if we would kept it as an inside secret?
We said only hard, not imposibble.
Our company will be public in sverige after we created it, the site will have our names. What other ID do you need?
We talked with coinpayments.net to make a widget, but they do not response to us, you can talk with them and ask them about our messages.

Community managers, you are working good, we see what you are doing, but it was financed by the money what we gave to you.
But it is not your fault that you do not see all the development what we do, so it is not your fault too when you think we are leading
the coin in a bad way
, we just do not have as many time as you guys, if you think you can lead it better than us, do it,
it is good for us if you make this coin sucess.

When all the community managers online we should talk about this whole situation, because it is wrong now what happen here,
Fitness76 and mangers asked us let them lead the coin, and we would remain developers only, if you think they control it better, fine.

#1 rule in crypto success: transparency!

Dev, you need to update the community more regularly of the forum or twitter.  to not be seen for almost a week and then post a negative update is not good for the coin.  I know your busy, but you need to give an update maybe every second day with what you are working on.  I know this will add more work for you, but it will give the community more confidence in your coin which will help to stabilize it value and attract new investors.

tl;dr

Are you saying he just cloned the wallet? How is that a problem? GUE had a clean wallet and a lot of people have emulated it. If he had created the wallet himself, all of his other wallets would pretty much have the same signature so this is a moot point.

If this guy really is the same Mac McLaughlin that works for Fibonacci (and all signs point to yes) then it's more likely that he isn't making mistakes at all. He probably had his website shut off to prevent people from knowing who he was before the big reveal. He seems very well spoken from his previous posts and does not strike me as your typical dev who doesn't know where to place a comma or form a sentence. I imagine he's accumulating coins.

yes, and the rabbit hole goes deeper.

https://github.com/kalgecin?tab=contributions&from=2014-07-10

I hope the dev will reveal more information on who is behind this project

Cachecoin = Jasinlee

Jasinlee is also one of the developers on the XCurrency team.

If this is legit, Pesa will not be some shit coin.  It will be the real deal.

Yes, and kalgecin is also a dev from CACHEcoin.

The puzzle is coming together  Wink
