You guys are right, I was trusting what an article said without double checking the MtGox market depth myself.
Regardless, it would be easy to spread the sale of 174k BTC over 2-3 exchanges and a month to not impact prices.

No. A single dump on a single exchange like MtGox (a stupid thing to do) would bring us roughly around $100/BTC Over 2 million coins have been sold over the top 3 exchanges in the last 30 days: http://bitcoinity.org/markets/list?currency=ALL&span=30d and yet the exchange rate rose from $130 to $200. So it would be relatively easy for the FBI to sell 174,000 coins on 2-3 exchanges over 30 days and not significantly impact the exchange rate in any way. But most likely they wouldn't even sell on an exchange, they would auction the coins as explained by others. |

See I tried that.
They still limited my funds for 3 weeks, then proceded to close it automatically today after I withdrew my funds. 2 of my Coop members have also had their accounts taken out in similar fashion. I provided them everything from invoices to pictures to timestamped shipping and no dice. Paypal and ebay are all talk, and they will tell you what you want to hear on the phone and do the exact opposite.
I am aware. But we can afford to fight a possible dispute, and it would be worth fighting IMHO. |

sebdude420: local pickup is possible, but payment should be made through Paypal. We need to go though the motions to establish some eBay/Paypal history, even though, as bobsag3 pointed out, purchases of Bitcoin hardware tend to raise flags. The only way to make eBay/Paypal more friendly toward such purchases is to have more and more vendors and customers trade successfully.

But you should get $10/GH in 2016!
Actually, each share has mined 0.02 btc as of today. With 518k shares total it means the project as a whole has mined approximately 10k btc or $1.4 million. This is above the $1 million target below which Tytus would have promised to pay $10/Gh/s to investors. By my calculations, it's more like 0.1756 0.01756 btc/ share that has been mined. My 0.02 btc was just an estimation... only 14% off. |

Bitfury would be the same price as us ($20 per GH/s). With the recent run-up in BTC price, you're no longer at $20 per GH/s. 14 btc * $150 / 105 GH/s = $20/GH/s |
