201  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: June 02, 2016, 04:02:40 PM

Heh - and I felt late to the party when I joined. Then there was that post from some guy in 2010 saying that "the train had already left the station" and he lamented that he was only able to mine ~650BTC before it wasn't worth keeping the laptop on.

And thus, the acronym "CCMF" was born.  Tongue

I've been trying to figure out what "CCMF" stands for for the last ten minutes... Care to enlighten me? I'm sure it will be something obvious and I will feel dumb haha
202  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 26, 2016, 03:54:25 AM
The only items I have actively spent bitcoin on are Casascius coins on this forum. Everything else has been small purchases to support vendors who accept bitcoin but then I immediately replaced what I spent. I think a lot of people are waiting to see what happens at the halving, it should definitely be interesting.

I would suggest auction, begin 10BTC from 10BTC

I second this great idea!

I would definitely bid on this  Grin

just curious on why would you redeem such a limited edition beauty  Cry Cry

COuld have betted more in mint condition..

I bought it because I liked the crypto gambling aspect. Where would the fun be if I never found out if I won?

9 1/2 more hours until the auction is over! 0.11BTC is a steal for a 1 of 10 coin!

I forgot to add that there is no sniping. The end time will be extended 15 minutes after each new bid that is placed <15 minutes before the end time. After a final bid is placed and 15 minutes elapses, that bid will be deemed the winner.
209  Economy / Auctions / [Auction] Microsoul Mega Delux Lucky Gold #9 on: May 10, 2016, 05:18:08 AM
I am auctioning my Microsoul Mega Delux Lucky Gold #9. There were only 10 made so don't miss out on this rare coin.

It has been redeemed but comes with an extra hologram that can be reapplied. I honestly think it looks very nice with the original hologram.

Auction Ends: 10:00 AM May 12th PST (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/los-angeles)

Starting Bid: 0.01BTC

Bid Increments: 0.01BTC

Shipping is not included and must be paid by the winner, the coin will be shipped from the US.

Feel free to post or PM any questions or concerns  Smiley

Wow... Do you have a ballpark of what you're looking to get for it? Also, do you mind giving some background on how you acquired it? I think that provenance and history will be very important to the sale of this coin. Great find!  Smiley

I'll start the bidding at 100BTC Tongue

dazed...I really hope you're joking.

Not sure where you came up with this arbitrary amount.  There are possibly the same amount of 0.5B void coins and those command around 5B each.  There are 1000B 2FA Bars (1 made), 100B 2FA Bars (4 made) that are bars, but rarer, and those didn't command anywhere near such asking prices.

I kind of get the feeling that starting bid is implying he isn't looking to sell it  Wink

Congrats on a great pick up Dazed  Grin

I'm interested in a few of the things you've listed but I get the feeling that you're an ex supply guy who "acquired" these while you were in and that makes me nervous. Any proof that you purchased these legally?

Any idea how many hours the NVG's have been turned on and used for?
