Who the fuck is Sunny Delight anywayz?? Could be a scammer just like the rest!! Don't install on computer with wallets.dat in it!! Just letting the world know.. this client does not work and it may be stealing wallet.dat files!
If you're dim enough to run new wallets on a computer that has wallets you care about, then caveat emptor. From Sunny King? I'm pretty sure he's not gonna spread a trojan. Just shut the beep up already ...it`s my f business if I want to try it ! use the ignore button, his will light up like a flash

Where is the scientific use of prime number chains?
The discover of new prime numbers as I understand. In the white paper it describes only using prime numbers which can be easily verified, so that rules out actively searching for large prime numbers, doesn't it? Dude, verifying a number is prime is easy. Well, I guess the white paper is pretty vague on the limits. So we'll see what the actual limits are in a couple of hours. When I discovered this coin last night, I had hoped it would be finding all prime numbers so that eventually bitcoin could be attacked using the prime numbers found by this coin. Which would be poetic, imho. poetic, made me laugh also genius

give it a little more time, I notice it climbs up slowly...
Gave it over night, same result at similar HW error rate maybe it is waiting for fan readings? and because you don't have them, it doesn't work? is it possible you attach the fans, to see if that helps?

I run the water now at ~30 degree Celsius, I have 36 ambient temp today with high moisture. 2 pcb's @ one heat sink is not a bad idea, however impossible now with the top board. You can put it onto --avalon-auto and it will sort out the freq automagicly by looking at the % of hardware errors.
I did that, and it didn't change the frequency for about 20 minutes now - running at ~1.2% HW errors. Can it be that it only works with readings of the fan RPM's? hmm yes , it is also adjusting the fanspeed, and if that doesn't help it lowers the freq, when temp is below target it tries to increase freq and decrease fan again .. so maybe it needs those fan readings to work (?)

So anyone had problems with the tp-link WR703N wifi router on theses things? This is a Rev1.1 board. I can't connect to any computer to interface with it. (Of course by setting a static ip address on the comp eg. 192.168.0.101 and accessing the router via 192.168.0.100) And my network switch doesn't detect it. Bad router, or can I reflash? Is there a way to access this board via serial?
It might mean the ethernet interface on the router is flaky or dead. Try a crossover cable directly to the unit. Also try a different computer. If the same on multiple systems then yeah there could be something wrong with it. There is a way to access via serial but it would involve soldering your own serial cable to the board. There is a howto on the openwrt wiki or somewhere. If all else fails you could temporarily hook up the unit to your PC/mini pc, etc. Just remember to remove the J1 jumper before you plug in the USB cord to any device as it backfeed power (how the system powers the router). By the way I found a guy here on the forum that is selling modified (in the same fashion as the avalon unit's tp-link router) tp-link routers. Thats the other thing, I can't find a good tutorial on how to mine on this thing via usb. Driving me crazy. Its windows xp im using and I've setup zadig but cgminer can't see the miner. have you changed the jumper? I think it is J1, but they're talking about P5 on the wiki About P5 jumper: close this jumper will supply 5V to the USB-B port. in this system, the controller board power the 703N from the client side. if you connect the controller itself to a PC, you better remove the jumper.

No offense but how do you have so many coins and not understand one of the most special things about them I do not know all details of the banking system or my computer's OS either but I still use them regularly. I thought stake was not relevant for me since my wallet is encrypted. Consider me rich when, not if, PPC reaches $1,000 hmm yeah your wallet would be locked and stake minting suspended with an encrypted wallet, you sure you didn't unlock it?

NOTE Re: Enermax 850W PSU that comes with some avalon batch 2.
I upgraded to a larger PSU while trying to troubleshoot some problems, it did not seem to be the problem, but I left the larger PSU in the avalon and thought I could use the 850W Enermax to power a small 2X7970 system... connect the 24 pin to the MB, connect one of each 7970 to the PCIe plugs, good to go, right?
It powered up just fine, but got no OS loaded error... doh! forgot to plug in the HDD... no big.
so then I pluged in the HDD to one of the 6 pin connectors on the PSU, no boot, no power on, no nothing... I tried a couple other of the 6 pin connectors, first one, same thing, second one, the system would power up, but I still get no OS error... boot into bios, no HDD detected... weird.
So then I thought I'd try another HDD, maybe that one died in the 1 week that it's been disconnected?
Bad move.
Sparks and then FLAMES started shooting out of the HDD. I kinda freaked/zoned out so it took me a few seconds to pull the plug.
Has anyone else tried to use the Enermax 850W with the chinese writing for a normal computer? Is it possible these PSUs are wired differently? I thought it was a standard ATX? maybe I just had 2 bad HDD in a row? (not willing to risk a third) How long 'till my apartment no longer smells like blue smoke?
I have it running in an old system, no problems here... weird , you say 6 pin connectors for the HDD? doesn't it need a 4 pin molex? I mean the 6 pin modular connector, the HDD was a 2.5" with sata power connector. I used an extra connector from one of my other modular PSU because the 850W enermax did not come with any extra connectors for the 6 pin connections. How did you power fans and HDD and stuff? did you use a connector from another PSU like I tried? fans with an adapter from 4 pin molex to fan connector, or from the motherboard, HDDs straight from the 4 pin molex'

if it's just changing another way to do proof of work, it does not sound innovative to me, coz we already have sha256 and scrypt, and they are working just fine..
and sha256 and scrypt offer scientific research results? I don't think so, there is the innovation, primecoin does something extra for the world to benefit

had a batch one witch has been struggling to get above 66ghs during the day and it goes higher at night..... the two things i had noticed it had a different style PSU, could tell by the back switch and the PSU area got hotter than my others.
Opened it up today to find a 650w bronze PSU..... should run better now with a 860w i hope.
Has anyone thought about moving the module closest to the PSU to the space for the fourth module?
So i moved the modules, and it seems to be better at first look. WARNING: use your own mind when considering doing the same. before [2013-03-18 12:37:02] Avalon: Fan1: 0/m, Fan2: 2280/m, Fan3: 2280/m Temp1: 22C, Temp2: -1C, Temp3: 45C, TempMAX: 46C
after [2013-03-18 16:19:23] Avalon: Fan1: 0/m, Fan2: 2040/m, Fan3: 2040/m Temp1: 19C, Temp2: -1C, Temp3: 44C, TempMAX: 44C
I also did this, well.. not just moved the one module closest to the PSU, I moved them all to the next module (same as invader)

All three of my fans don't work on my avalon and its due to something with the board they are plugged in. I know this because I tried another fan and it still didn't work. Is there a way to connect the fans to the power supply so they run all the time or is there a setting in which might be turned off.
there are those things http://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Omega-3-Pin-4-Pin-Adapter/dp/B000BSJGL0

This is a dumb question Two of the three fans in my Avalon are spinning at 3700 plus RPM. The first one (blue guy) is at 0 RPM. Is that because it is not at 12v 3600 rpm fan? It is running but cgminer is not reading the fan speed. It there a way to fix it? I heard it was normal, when the two fans spin at max rpm, the third fan spins less or stops spinning, maybe because of the airflow coming from the other two
