In my eyes PayPal is right now better because it has a better future and its also that it has a great future a head.
Another thing is that its accepted way more and the dispute system makes it just so sweet.
For me I will not say Paypal is better than bitcoin because paypal high transaction fees like money transfer. Paypal not fully convenient like bitcoin transaction. And we can say many to prove bitcoin is best transaction medium for money. If you are a merchant, the paypal fee is very high. If you want to pay your friends, I think there is no fee. |

Today is July 4 th, I checked the website, there is no new update. https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/releasesI heard that the problem with the soft fork attack vector is in the fundamentals in the Etherum platform. Are you trying to say because it's fundamental it can't be fixed? I think that is more like a question. I wonder if anybody knows the answer. There is no soft fork software now. |

Bitcoins price is directly related to the spending done on the network and the biggest spending event of the year just ended. However we've got the halving to look forward to next year, so we've got that going for us. However realistically speaking, nothing will happen. Maybe a small spike in the price, even if that.
Why will 2016 be a boring year for the bitcoin i dont think this is true we have to go a couple of months and as you know there are allot of people who are speculating about the price rising at the end of the year so we will stay positive till that moment comes. At the moment, there is a fight between the Core and the miners. If there is no implementation of 2MB, the miners will switch to Classic. |

I came to figure out, why would a consumer/customer use Bitcoins?
You have to pay the 3 cent fee, while you dont have to pay anything when paying with a credit card.
So what is really a benefit for using Bitcoins, customer wise?
No long lines to withdraw money at an atm, no $10 fees if you lost your card, no having to deal with weak customer support etc . The fees are increasing at the moment from my own experience. There is no guarrantee you will get confirmed within several blocks. |

I think that bitcoin is much much better, because you almost don't have fees when you send to friends, while with paypal usually you have to pay pretty huge fees so i would always use bitcoin if i could, sadly not everyone accepts them in offline stores. yeah, the high fees are really a big obstacle for us to use paypal with that we will have to lose a good amount of our earning, so the better choice is that we use bitcoin in our transactions. But the fee in bitcoin transaction is also rising. Although it is still lower than Paypal, it will surpass it if there are more transactions. |

If the price indeed goes below $500 for some reason, I would take that as an opportunity to buy. You can see indeed that the value of Bitcoin is going to be higher and that many people are now waiting for the right moment to sell it so that is really nice.
But you dont even know what will happen in the future and that is the problem of Bitcoin but that is just only risky also.
The issue with the bitcoin is that you never know where it is heading. If its going in an upward direction, it does not means that it will keep on rising or if it is going in downward direction, then also it does not mean it will countiune in that direction. You cannot predit the price of this coin. One day it can be as high as 750$ and the other day it can fall to as low as 500$. This unpredcitable nature of bitcoins makes it very difficult to guess what wil be the furture price of this coin. The best thing you can do is sell when you see higher price and gain some profits, as not sure what can be the price very next day, keep on playing with coins in short term. I dont think the bitcoin will go to that low the price of the bitcoin now is around the 600 dollar and he will not drop to that low for sure if he does i think it will be the end of the many users of bitcoins becasue there are allot of people investing the last months. I agree with that. The bitcoin price could drop to around $500, and then it will bounce back and stay here again. |

may be difficult for you and me but i think there are so many other areas where people are using bitcoin as a local currency. i think customers will use it because they will have very easy access to the good. they do not need to carry money with them therefore they will llike to use bitcoin. The good thing about using bitcoin is that you can use it with a smart phone. But it needs more infrastrucutre to support it. |

Well i am expecting for ethereum and now i am still waiting for ethereum price will crash in 1 usd..

I don't think the ETH price will crash to $1 in the near future, at the moment it is $14+ and it is going good in the most popular exchanges, we understand it was a big crash but i don't think that it will drop so much as $1, i think that it is profitable for the miners more than bitcoin sometimes. I hope it will not go below $1. It depends on the solution of the DAO crisis and how the locked Ethereum are dealt. $1 is equal to 0.0016 BTC and it is really a small amount comparing with the price now at 0.02 BTC, not even 10% of the current price. I think that the price will stay 0.015+ for a while because it is going good even though the recent 'hacks'. The price of Ethreum depends on the solution of the DAO attack. If the problem is solved satisfactory, the price will rise. |

You are just promoting you altcoins but honestly, altcoins are sometimes need to be consider to have a good future to partner with bitcoins. I hope to see move successful altcoins in the future to give users a variety of services to choose from. Well I guess on his own sight he sees his own coin as the best altcoin. But how could altcoins be promoted if those owners are the one's bringing down each other.  Bitcoins and Altcoins should work hand in hand and the improvement of other should also benefit the others, every coin has a unique functionalities and values and they can bridge with each other to promote each other, what is important is all coins are in the crypto world so any good news the community will be benefited as a whole. That is what I think as well. Bitcoin can learn a lot from other coins. So can the altcoins. Without altcoin, I will not have bitcoin. |

If the hacker knows a method to freeze the stolen funds was being worked on, why wouldn't he liquidate the coins as quickly as possible before that could happen?
Does it imply that the Ethereum is still quite robust, there is not many bugs in it to be exploited by the hacker? |

Yes and no, but mostly no (imo). A lot of the complexity in the design of Ethereum and in the correct coding of contracts comes as a consequences of the requirement to abruptly terminate execution when gas runs out. But aside from being complex and perhaps a bad design or even a bad idea from the very beginning, there are no flaws of which I'm aware in how the gas mechanism works. It working as designed. Whether that constitutes 'inherently flawed' is a matter of opinion. Always glad your around to clear up misconceptions and cut through all the noise. So the Ethereum itself is quite safe, or not buggy. The problem is in the writing or the coding of the contract. |

That is true. The first 6 months of 2016 see the consoidation of the bitcoin price. The later half will see the price rise. This month bitcoin volatility is relatively large, I believe it will be able to rise up next month. The volatility could be even larger next months when the halving comes. If the price rises slowly, the volatility will be low. |
