201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: May 12, 2020, 08:36:48 PM
A investment can brings a catastrophe properly because there more fisher traping for seize a new investors, so If you want to invest you have need to chose medium rate coins.

Bitcoin is risky too, how you go down the list the risk is rising! You can never be sure did you made a good decision or not, only time can do that, what we can do is to do research, deep research, and it's how we minimize the risks, everything else is not in our reach. Risk is a normal thing, nobody should have fear from risking and possibly losing investment, it's how you learn and make the experience for yourself.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: May 12, 2020, 07:44:45 PM
IEO and ICO of these days are almost the same thing and I would say what differentiates them is the exchange. Some exchanges do not even sell coins successfully and listing they ends up not listing according to IEO rate or list with IEO price which before investors could wait for little profits, it will dump on them. A successful and we'll trusted IEO has to come from a reputable exchange if not both ICO and IEO appear samething. I have seen many failed IEO and failed ICO so they are amsot same to be except the exchange IEO is being listed could help make it worth buying.

They are the same, but at the same time they aren't. Both are for one purpose, organized sales for gathering funds for the project, it's how these two are the same.
The organization of sale is what makes the difference! In some way when trusted exchange runs the sale and after token gets listed it's like an easier option, with ICO's you never know will they get to some exchange in the first place!
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: May 11, 2020, 09:44:02 AM
I have known that for a long time now especially during the time ICOs were still very much active. As of then most people shared their concerns on how ICO ranking sites will rate a project good or give high rate and the project will end up becoming the reverse of the rate given to it. This lead to the creation of many ICO ranking sites but yet all are in one way or the other, the same. It is good you have known the truth, with it, you can make more informed decisions on the type of project to invest in; take note, not only for ICOs as they are already dead but IEOs as well.

Never trust anything, first check it then trust it. Many people fall on info from certain sites, it's why in crypto we have buy the rumor and sell the news, and that will never change. But we can't blame anyone here, it's one them to show their results, we are free to check any site on other places and confirm can they be trusted or not! Generally, I don't trust anything before I check them with some little money and for some period of time, trust comes with time!
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: May 11, 2020, 08:15:46 AM
Rarely I exchange my Bitcoins for some altcoins if there's an opportunity for me to earn some altcoins I would rather choose that option than to buy them. Only if I don't have many chances to earn some altcoin I want to have then I will use bitcoins I have and exchange them for an altcoin. It's good to have altcoins beside Bitcoin, we never know which one can explode and make x100-x1000 in a short time.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of stablecoin on: May 10, 2020, 12:19:30 PM
Don't know, stablecoin sure is great to flip between it and bitcoin when there is a dip but 'brah, money printer goes'. Honestly, stablecoin has a risk too so we will never know it crashing down. Also, you either a veteran trader with good sense of timing or a seer to actually know when to buy, when to sell and at what price. That takes a lot of effort and not easy as you said.

Stable coins are good only for that, to flip between with some crypto and stable coins when the market is going down. In the dip, you spend all stable coins for some cryptocurrency and you got yourself more coins. I do that after days of the green market, it happens often after greed weeks to come red days, sell in the peak of the green and buyback when it's red.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the market stand this trial on: May 10, 2020, 10:37:52 AM
The market is holding a good, recent trip to over $10k proves that! Many altcoins recorded a nice rise in the last few weeks too, last night drop doesn't concern me, after every rise it's natural for me to expect a drop, it's going with experience, more time you spend here you get more used to fluctuations, temporary rises and drops, all that is normal in crypto!
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's keep eye on NEO on: May 09, 2020, 07:11:41 AM
NEO is a good investment, they had a good start and peak in 2017 over $100. Since then they are in some calm stage, just if you follow their official channels you can see something, but outside of that, they are quiet! I think NEO will have a big comeback, and I will hold my NEO tight, maybe I can work on that position more!
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: May 09, 2020, 05:31:29 AM
Before defining the amount you must test your strategy very well, it is useless to invest 100USD and lose them for gambling in trading, luck you may have it, but at some point it will fail, it is better than before putting money try with money fictitious, so you get an idea of how the market moves.
I agree, if you invest 100 dollars or 100k as long as you don't know what you are doing you will not make any money so it doesn't matter how much you get in with. If you are a great trader who knows what they are doing you will take that 100 dollars and turn it into 100k, not quickly probably (depending on your luck it could be in few weeks or it could never happen) but at least that great trader will have that chance.

However if you are a bad trader you can have 100k and you could turn that into zero. As you can see the thing that depends here is not the amount start day trading, that doesn't matter as long as you have enough money to trade the minimum on the exchange, that is literally enough which is like 20 bucks in most places and with altcoins even lower.

Invest amount you are comfortable with, in case you lose it it will not put you in financial problem! Both of you are right, any amount can be lost on trading, $100 or $100k, for people who wish to learn, should invest 10% of their amount for start, then they can see how it's going and add more in any case, if they lose or they make more and wish to try harder. Any amount is good for trading if it covers the fees!
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: May 08, 2020, 03:39:02 PM
Why won't it affect it. If you do simple maths you will see it will have huge effect on the price. It means if one person or two could manage to buy all the ico/ieo tokens with that huge bonus they can control the price at will whenever they like.

This is happening with every project, not just with crypto projects, there are investors who can take the entire companies. If it happens that just one person buys all coins from a private sale, than it will be difficult for all others when that person makes a move and sell his stash! It's not terrible for other small-time investors, bounty hunters, it can be terrible for the project itself and the entire team behind!
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: May 08, 2020, 10:50:04 AM
Too many good things promised is one red flag of the scam projects. There are some risks in investing on project and things doesn't always doing good. So, i think offering many good promises and good predictions is just a way to attracting more peoples to invest on the project.
Indeed, stay away from this kind of crypto project.

When I see huge promises before anything else, like a product or platform, I close that page. A red flag means that the project shouldn't be trusted and for me, one red flag is enough. Lately, I see many questionable projects and crypto sites, I try to stick with old and trusted projects when it comes to investing and earning coins, sometimes it's better to earn less but to be safe than to try to earn more and risk to lose money or time, or both.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee says he received call from Satoshi Nakamoto asking not to be reveal on: May 07, 2020, 07:34:13 AM
John McAfee will say anything to get a lot of attention and to stay relevant on Social media. He is also one of the most controversial characters in the Bitcoin scene. He will promote shady Alt coins if you pay him to boost it on social media and will say the most crazy things to get people's attention.

A few months ago, he promised to cut off his genitals, if the price did not go to a million dollars and guess what happened then... absolutely nothing.

The guy had so much potential, but he pissed it away on drugs and booze and prostitutes.  Roll Eyes  Just Google, " Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee " and watch the documentary.  Roll Eyes Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gringo:_The_Dangerous_Life_of_John_McAfee

Yes, he will say anything for attention! I admit he was interesting to follow in the beginning, but lately, he makes outrages statements, he is acting like a complete fool! I unfollowed him, I can't bear his nonsense anymore!
I just took a pick on this documentary, killing, rapping, running away from US, coming back to US. Who can say this really happened, or he bribed some people to show up in this documentary?! Attacking himself, then defending?! Too much mystery about John and I am not into that!
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: May 06, 2020, 06:58:59 PM
The statement is right. It doesn't matter of project anymore it's about the exchange now. But there is another a exchange like binance mostly choose project with great team, and vision. People trust binance or any big exchange cause they have security and when they introduced a project it's hard to be scam. That's why people go for the big exchange ieos. There are exceptions there are many small projects that are also doing good but the success rate is less.

Exchanges play an important role, with their followers every announcement from them draws a lot of attention for any project. Can any project be successful without exchange!? I think the answer is yes, it's hard but it's not impossible! The team will need to do their best, to make more effort, and with good ideas and good decisions, anything is possible! As you said, there are exceptions and we need to know how to recognize them and make some good profit!
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin wallet on: May 06, 2020, 02:33:05 PM
I have atomic wallet for more than I year, I participated in their bounty here, got some of their tokens too. Great wallet, I love it! Easy to use, you can exchange some coins there in the wallet, without need to make transactions. The atomic wallet has a good team, marketing is great, they have a new update every month, which means they work on the wallet to be better for users! Who didn't try should try atomic wallet.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 05, 2020, 02:08:46 PM
The only reason Binance is so popular is that they don't list scam projects. The projects listed at Binance are the best and help investors get profit. In addition, Binance's security is very good and we do not need to fear hackers

They had few hacks, but they showed they can deal with that! That how someone deals with problems tells a lot, and it's why we trust Binance if it happens again we know they will act responsibly! I think they deserved no. 1 position, they work hard, they have good marketing, they take care of customers, and as long as they do that we will see them on top!
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price After 3rd Halving My Prediction on: May 05, 2020, 12:06:25 PM
$68,000 as the peak for 2021 eoy seems reasonable. I have heard about $100,000 to $250,000 as per Tim Draper but I don't want to go that much with those predictions because it's giving too much excitement and emotion unless it actually happens. I'm bullish with realistic price but if those high prices came into reality, well, that's good for all of us.

The analysis that you have used looks good with the cut to the percentage increase for the all halving that we went through.

It's a reasonable prediction, with this prediction I can agree! We will have time to earn more coins or to invest in Bitcoin until huge rise comes! Tim Draper is optimistic, we don't know what future holds, anything is possible with Bitcoin, and anyone can be optimistic about it! I am optimistic too, I believe that we will have new ATH in upcoming years, and like you said that will be good for all of us!
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It seems like it's the end for bounties on: May 04, 2020, 10:12:30 AM
The end will come only when the cryptocurrency disappears. I think that generosity will always be. It all depends on development. Now the crisis has become a little more complicated. But soon everything will be the same as before.
That's true. It looks like OP is a new participant in the bounty. There was also a bunch of good bounties have already come and so many people have been joining in these bounties too.

OP must believe if everything will be fine as long as he can do a good research

And we know that cryptocurrencies are here to stay, they will not disappear. There are good bounties now, I think I participate in a good one now! Times are hard now, but before we had similar topics and people who thought that bounties will end, but that didn't happen until now, and I believe that will not happen in the future, there will be new projects and they will need to have marketing!
217  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: May 04, 2020, 05:28:54 AM
So much money. If all exchangers works togheter then for clear we can somehow find who stole it and exchange it if they exahnge it.
Although the exchanges work together, they aren't able to prevent this from happening, there are many ways for hackers to bypass them. For example, hackers can disperse the amount that they steal then use mixing services, which can be detected but quite difficult.

How can they prevent this from happening, there's no way for that to happen. Hackers are better, and we had information that some hacks were a possible inside job. We talk about huge money here, $1 billion is a lot, but I wonder is there some statistic for banks and how much money was stolen from banks and some other institutions!? I would like to compare stolen funds from them too! Then this post would be complete!
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: May 03, 2020, 06:44:27 PM
For long term investors, this can be a good time, to invest before the entire market goes up. But for short term investors, this can be a hard time to make a decision, the market is in a bullish period for days, and after that correction will happen and we can see the market dropping. Short term traders are selling now I think, think carefully about short term trades, they are risky!
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: May 03, 2020, 04:13:38 PM
The possibility of getting higher profit from bounties are getting slimmer everyday, new real projects are not many again, 99% of projects are money grabbers with perfect plans, I really wish bounty hunters are paid in BTC or stable coins

I'm in bounties for years, I think every period had some great bounties and scam bounties! Both will always be there, it's up to us to find the best one, not to rush in the first new bounty without any research! That usually is a bad thing, you spent time and energy for worthless tokens, or in some cases without tokens at all if the team decide to run away before distribution! Don't lose hope, if you are patient and wait a bit before you jump in first bounty you can find a good one!
220  Economy / Economics / Re: We need a economic revolution right now . on: May 02, 2020, 10:07:49 AM
Wait until corona virus end and many countries take recovery to get economic revolution, without stop corona virus many business failed because have country stop allowed receiving other people come to their country, many company stop working after their country get lock down level.

We need to look forward. When this ends many countries will have to make a revolution and we can only hope that it will be better after them. This pandemic will change things in the world, and people have a chance to make some changes, now it's the right moment for that. I don't wish to blame anyone for this pandemic, I wish we to take the best from this and learn to be better and do things better. The current economy is making rich people richer, while slaves work for cents, we need changes and we need them as soon as possible.
