401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: December 13, 2019, 07:23:21 AM
Traders who never bother to learn how to trade will lose money constantly. Nobody can help these people, and until they realize they will have to learn if they wish to make a profit they will lose money. We need to learn all the time, you learn about basics in trading, later you learn tricks in trading, and if you continue to learn you will learn about what is best for you.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 12, 2019, 04:48:51 PM
I think its from their past experience with altcoins , but in the real sense of it not all Altcoins are valueless, some still have good real life usage and are not that bad to invest in. It also depends on activities of  the project owners.

I think the same, some people had bad luck with some altcoins and they classified all other as same. But it's just their experience, bad experience, and instead to admit their mistake they blame all others. They need to review their actions and to try to do a better research next time they plan to invest money in some unknown altcoin.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 12, 2019, 10:01:13 AM
I don't hold on trade for a long time, I buy a coin and I plan to hold it for a long time before I sell. I tried day trading, short term trading, but I had only losses and just few times I made some nice profit, overall I lost a lot of money. It was a lesson for me, after that, I made much more profit with long term trading. Now I just do that, I'm not interested in anything that is short term, it's a huge risk when it's short term, and I don't wish to risk that much anymore.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: December 11, 2019, 09:12:45 PM
Perform a background check for the project or any investment that you are trying to get into. Frauds are everywhere and it is our duty to be careful and to make sure that everything is alright before we trust them with our own hard earned money. Do not get greedy with the quick and huge returns because if it is too good to be true then it is probably a scam.
This is a major problem of our nation that people take advantage of innocent people and make money by making them suffer from fraud. We should be careful and make a research about any project that we are using to invest our money. Right now on Google, there are so many sites that give knowledge about gambling and make us aware of frauds so we should visit them.

You can find everything on Google, good and bad things about anything. Preventing fraud is possible only with education and when you know enough you will be able to make a difference between good and bad projects. Without knowledge, you will rush into investments just to make a profit, but most likely is that you will lose your money if you don't do researches properly and if you don't learn about what you are researching.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2019, 07:39:21 PM
China is the country with the most Bitcoin mining in the world and holds the most bitcoins. They can control the price of bitcoin but cannot control the number of bitcoin holders. The evidence is that in the past 2 years the Chinese government has issued many bans, but the number of bitcoin holders is still increasing in China

And because they also have the number of people in the world, so they can really easily to manipulate and control the Bitcoin, and yes correct they they do have a lot of miners there despite the news that their government is banning the mining. But we should not worry about it, although they can control and sell their Btc still we can recover from this dump if ever.

People from China have a huge mining power, they have a lot of Bitcoins, it's logical to assume that they can manipulate with the price but until a certain point. They can't control the entire network, their actions can affect the Bitcoin in the ways they wish, but there are other parties involved too. It would be fair to say that who owns som amount of Bitcoins, control that amount, but nothing more.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MATIC LOW PRICE AND THE BEST CHOICE TO BUY NOW on: December 10, 2019, 08:31:19 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208374.msg53308412#msg53308412

Here is the link from a similar thread. You can check there how some Matic holders feel after huge drop in just one day. I saw an announcement on Twitter early today from CZ, he said how it's not the team fault and how some big bag holders sold their bags, but Binance and team don't have anything with that.
I will share one tweet with you https://twitter.com/jaredctate/status/1204447912895352834 judge it for yourself, have a nice day!
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you today $MATIC holders? on: December 10, 2019, 10:31:08 AM
You live by the FOMO, you die by the FOLO.

If this was a project you believed in, like the guy above, you would see this as an opportunity to increase your assets.

Just like the bitcoin people have been doing.

But you did see MATIC as a get rich quick ticket. You bought into FOMO. Naturally, now you...

PANIC

And you should. I would panic too If I were you. I know pretty much nothing about MATIC. The only impression I got is, I know that binance made it big and binance can make it small again.

Whatever let's get back to the point.

Panic is a good thing.

Panic raises your adrenaline levels.

Panic keeps you alive.

You are panicking because you know you did something stupid and you want to get rid of it.

I would get rid of this shit too If I had any.

So, Let's...

PANIC

Remember, If you don't panic high enough, the other guy will and you will lose even more money.

OP can lock this topic after this comment! Nothin smart can be said after this! I saw some MATIC hashtags on twitter, like you I don't know anything else about this project except a few tweets I saw, mostly huge promises that this project will go to the moon before other coins.
After a 50% drop in one day, I would sell too. Panic is healthy sometimes, it can save your life or your money.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wtf? All red on: December 09, 2019, 09:30:45 PM
All red in the crypto market is a perfectly normal day, like any other. Some traders dumped their stash and they wait for a good price to buy again, others cry cause their investment is losing value. Hodlers hodl tight, they don't care about green or red days. We had so many red and green days, one can't exist without other. Think positive, after red days green days come, the same as the day comes after the night.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!! on: December 09, 2019, 02:18:57 PM
With crypto-currencies you never know, I said I'm not sure cause Bitcoin price surprised me many times, and not just me, other people as well. When most people thought it will rise Bitcoin went down when we thought Bitcoin will drop we saw the opposite.
I'm investing in Bitcoin cause I believe it's the future, the future is in decentralization. Only that can help us all! And it's better to believe in math than in other people.

411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: December 07, 2019, 10:30:15 PM
I will give you 2 ways, stakings, and dividends from casinos. They are regular, you don't risk anything, you always have your coins in your wallet! I'm doing that for months and I'm satisfied, I would suggest others to search for good staking projects and casinos they pay dividends. I don't wish to advertise anyone here, who wishes to check good projects that offer good payback will do research.
412  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 06, 2019, 03:18:01 PM
There is no way someone will tell you here that there is such thing as a safe trade.
It is just an illusion. Even veterans have their own problems when dumps come around without a notice which is normal.

Even with technical analysis, you will have a difficult time into making it real.
The market is not stable. The movement is like a roller coaster ride. If I were you, I would get ready with that first.

The same question was asked many times before, and new people still come and ask the same questions. They wish to make money in a safe way, without the possibility to lose what they already have. That is not impossible, but people still ask in the hope to find some miracle answers.
People that wish to start investing in cryptocurrencies, that wish to trade, should be ready for losing some money if they wish to learn something and one day to start making a profit.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: December 06, 2019, 10:18:04 AM
Big noise around Facebook Libra, but I really don't know what we can use Libra for? I don't know where to buy it, is it possible to earn Libra? Many people talk about Libra like it's some big deal for all of us, but nobody knows anything about it. Facebook is a company that works for profit and unlike some crypto services that share profit with users, Facebook keeps all for company.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: December 05, 2019, 11:36:25 AM
I think this is unreasonable. You are just thinking about your personality and not respecting the people who run the country. Do you think each individual can build a beautiful country? No, it should have a good leader.
I am in favor of regular tax payments because it can help the government build roads and things that make our country better. Despite many conclusions that the political system is corrupt, I still don't care, when a country has no leader, our country will soon be chaotic. I consider corrupt money to be the cost of running the country. What do you think ?

I don't have respect for the people that run my country, but I agree with you that taxless society is an unreasonable idea. We need to pay taxes to have roads, hospitals, schools, and other stuff, it should be free for all! The current tax system is abused by government officials, they are getting richer, now everything costs, we pay taxes but we pay for roads too, for hospitals too, we even pay for school. We pay for everything, but what we get from that? In my country the situation is chaotic.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 05, 2019, 07:47:14 AM
For some months, staking some coins and dividends from some Tron DApp's are good source of passive income. You can earn some coins, or buy them, lock them in the wallet and you get some coins every day or week, depends on a coin or DApp. That's the future, dividends, staking coins, why would Ethereum do that if it's not one of the best ways to attract people.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: December 04, 2019, 12:52:15 PM
The powerful investors have alternative choices and they can sell the investment in a loss if they don't like something in the market conditions. The long term HODL-ers never care about the short term price movements, you need to be patient and strong. In case of loss, you have no leveraged trades, so it will be easy to sell the trades in a breakeven.

Patient and strong! Volatility is constant in the crypto market, the price moves in both directions without any announcements. Short term traders earn from volatility, some traders lose, it's a risky way to make a profit. Over the time price rising. We can compare prices from five or more years ago and we will notice a significant rise. Who plans to hold for five or more years should invest and just forget about that investment, lock it in a safe wallet and put it away. Don't pay attention to price movement, it will grow and it will drop, but in the long term, we will have more bull runs and price in future will be higher than it's now.
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: December 04, 2019, 08:25:52 AM
any prediction is not a problem. but this is the crypto world. anything can happen. I personally still believe bitcoin will have a value of more than $ 10,000 after halving occurs. yeah, they think like that. because for the past 10 years bitcoin has no important function other than just for trading and transactions. so the more difficult bitcoin is mined, it can make the miners not continue. This is in my opinion about the statement you wrote.

It's the part I like to hear, in cryptoworld anything can happen. Mining difficulty will rise, fewer rewards with the same mining gear, this will affect miners a lot, and they will not sell under the price and be at loss. The price will rise after the halving, but we can't be precise how long after the halving. It will take time for things to lay down, and for us to see the effects of halving on price, we need to be patient and wait for that.
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the halving a catalyst for a Bitcoin price bubble? on: December 03, 2019, 07:00:51 PM
in theory halving is a 50% reduction in reward from mining results.

It's not theory, it's a fact. This is not the first halving, we had one 2012, then 2016 and next year we will have Bitcoin halving again. It's a 50% reduction for the miners and every time halving was the catalyst for the market to rise. Bitcoin will rise, and Bitcoin will pull some altcoins too, it's happened before, and it will happen again.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: December 02, 2019, 11:19:01 AM
Is there anyone here who tried to experiment in online gambling sites with a pen and paper?

Here's the idea, to determine the percentage of winning, I always think of doing an experiment where I would bet in an online gambling site then each bet will be written to the paper. A total of 10 bets per day in a 1-week duration and each bet will be written and will be recorded depending if the bet is winning or losing. Then conduct an analysis of the percentage of winnings to determine if there are some tricks we could find with these experiments in different gambling sites.

If there is someone who already does this, could you please share the outcome? At what Bet you usually win? and what platform could that technique be applicable?

I have thought of that but I might do that because it's kinda annoying if you keep recording or doing a note while betting it will lose the excitement, for me gambling is a spontaneous decision because gambling is very dynamic it will always change and it's hard to keep up with the changing algorithm

And he thinks about sports betting probably, with that you can keep some track, but you play dices, crash, plinko, games I play these days, it's hard to keep some tracks. It's not like I have a couple of bets, I play half an hour and that means many, many bets, I experiment with odds, who will write all that down.
I know how much I money I can spend, I deposit that amount and I play, if I win it's great if I lose I know that happens from time to time, I don't regret, I come back again when I have money.
420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: December 02, 2019, 08:27:51 AM
Hy all. How are you. Bitcoin will rise to the moon in early 2020, do you know the reason? One reason is that more and more people are familiar with crypto and the digital world. Thanks. Cool

How about Halving, this is one big factor why people should buy and people are pinning their hopes of profit to halving, we even have a Bitcoin halving countdown https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/.
And of course, we have big companies joining the growing Cryptocurrency community.

Halving will be a game-changer, supply will be cut again, miners will have to make some changes, to upgrade their gear if they wish to continue with mining. Halving comes every 4 years, people are getting more familiar with cryptocurrencies, I believe both things will have effects on Bitcoin growth, and we can be positive about Bitcoin in 2020, we will continue to see progress like in past years.
